A/N; Hello everyone, it's been a while! I hope you all are enjoying this story as much as I am. There are a few things I want to start with before you read this special

Firstly, I want to give my upmost respect and love for Kazuki Takahashi, who passed away on July 4, 2022 as I was creating this special. His death was an absolute shock for everyone in the Yugioh community. Without him I wouldn't have been able to create The Pharaoh's Rose in the first place, nor experience such a fun and thrilling show that Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters has provided. In all our hearts, he is the true King of Games, and may he have eternal rest in his own kingdom that he deserves.

Secondly, I wanted to thank you all so much for reading this story and enjoying it. I love reading all the comments you guys give, it became a tiny hobby of mine to go back and read what you guys type. Your love for this story keeps Atem and everyone else alive in this story, and I have never been so grateful to be apart of this community. You guys have also kept this story high on the list under the Yugioh tag, which has over 7,500 stories under that tag. Saying that alone feels so surreal to say, and it gave me so much confidence to write more. You guys have no idea how much confidence you have given me. I will be a tiny bit personal here; at the time I was making season 5, I was losing confidence of writing because of the strictness of grading by a professor who consistently criticized my writing. This story was pretty much my thin string I held onto throughout those couple of months as I was in that class, so I do have a huge emotional attachment to it. And your comments really lifted my spirits the most and continued my pursuit of becoming an author (of course, while taking in the professors' criticism as an academic writer despite the harshness). Thank you so much. I love you, I love all of you guys <3

Anyway, pushing emotional stuff aside, it's time to get into this special. This is my gift to you. <3

Happy Halloween~

=============================================================

"FUCK." He hissed as he glared at the red screen before him. His hands trembled in rage as he slammed his fist on the desk before him and growled.

It was probably the hundredth time that he was rejected like this, he was too familiar with not only the Results Not Found on the screen, but also hearing from the workers he sent that they have found little to nothing except the same hieroglyphics created by the Ancient Egyptians from a millennia ago. What made it even more infuriating was how the hieroglyphics found only told the tale of the sacred marriage and the rituals. His glare shifted to his workers as though he was ready to pound all of them in one swing.

"TRY AGAIN." He growled with his body trembling. The workers who worked with him both in person and in the monitor nervously bit their lips, now terrified of Kaiba's rage.

"M...Mr. Kaiba, a-all we found are these ancient scriptures." One informed through the screen "And the ones discovered aren't completely translated due to the fall of-"

"IT DID NOT FALL." Kaiba banged his armchair with his fist, "EXPLAIN HOW THAT MEDIOCRE PROFESSOR FOUND IT BEFORE US."

"P-Professor Hawkins traveled to find the remains, M-Mr. Kaiba." Another corrected with sweat running down his face once he met with Kaiba's intense glare. His heart pounded with rage as he took a shaky breath as an attempt to recollect himself, his eyes closed and his hand gently massaged the temples on his head.

"A-And the Professor found the remains of Atlantis, he did not find anything particular about-" The man closest to Kaiba attempted to defend the one behind the monitor but was stopped when Kaiba raised his arm to silence him. The room went deaf quiet, no noise from anyone, only the sounds of Kaiba's harsh, deep breaths filled the room before he opened his mouth.

"....Explain to me how it's so easy to find the remains of the Millennium Puzzle, or even hear about the Pharaoh, but impossible to find anything about the Orichalcos nor her." He asked to receive a silent room for at least a couple of seconds before the man in the monitor rose his hand,

"I-If I may, Mr. Kaiba," He spoke as he watched Kaiba open his eyes and lock contact, "F-From what I have heard from plenty of other historians is that the Leviathan appeared much earlier than around the time the Pharaoh was born. Because of that, it is much harder to find anything about either the Leviathan or the Ori-"

"If any of you do not find the remains of the Orichalcos stone or the cards then all of you are fired." Kaiba seethed at his workers, and glared at one of the monitors that held the same two hieroglyphs and zoomed in on the image of the Priestess. "She thinks she can leave, just like her damned husband and daughter. No, I don't think so.." His voice trembled in rage, "She will see me again, even if it means I have to drag her out of her damned grave." He slowly swiped to the image of the Pharaoh, "And I'll do the same for her husband for leaving me right before our duel rightfully ended. Luckily for me, I have the exact tools needed to drag him out. Just you wait, (y/n). I'll get you whether you like it or not, so rest while you can."

Amidst Kaiba's rage, the familiar gang were laughing at the usual business at the school roof during lunch time.

Flora became attached to the group not long after the sendoff of three close friends. Yugi had encountered her through him roughly bumping into her on the way to school. Because of the guilt that latched onto him with the knowledge he practically knocked the breath out of her, he offered her lunch and found himself attached to her throughout the day. There was something...off about her that he couldn't pick out, but he enjoyed her company- almost similarly with everyone else. And because of that, he introduced her to everyone else. It may have taken a bit for everyone to accept Flora, but it wasn't long before she was apart of the gang. It may have been her charisma, or maybe it could have been how she looked awfully familiar. Either way, Yugi caught himself whipped for her, arguably more than how he was whipped for Tea earlier in his life. He silently watched her laugh at Joey's dramatic performance of how he will be the greatest duelist of all time that followed with Tristan's tiny remark that sent him off. The gang decided to talk about what to do after they graduate, as their ceremony is around the corner.

"I'm sure he will be able to become a great duelist, more than he already is." Flora complimented and watched Joey smirk at her.

"See? Flora supports me." He sneered at Tristan, who rolled his eyes with shrugged shoulders. Meanwhile, Tea raised an eyebrow at Flora as she quietly sipped her drink, "....soooo, Flora."

"Hm?" Flora looked at Tea,

"....tell me, what are you gonna do after graduation?"

"Oh, uh, I want to be a historian!" Flora responded, "Learning about ancient history is an amazing experience! So, I wanna try and become a historian so I can become some sort of professor!"

"Sounds like her too.." Joey whispered with a soft smile on his face,

"Hm?" Flora turned to Joey and watched him stiffen,

"Sounds like ya, Flora." Joey nodded his head, "I mean you did save my history grade more than once."

"I knew it." Yugi sneered with a smirk, "I was wondering how Joey managed to pass that timed essay." He watched Joey nervously laugh,

"Don't ya wanna be a dancer Tea?" Joey suddenly asked.

"Well obviously." Tea rolled her eyes at Joey's attempt to change the subject, "I am going to obliterate that stage in New York. How about you, Yugi?" Her gaze shifted to Yugi, who blinked out of his silence and looked at Tea in confusion. Tea frowned and put her hands on her hips, "What do you wanna do after you graduate?"

"Oh..." Yugi registered the question and looked at the floor, "Well, for one I am going to continue helping my grandpa with the shop, but I am going to start creating my own games. It's gonna sound cheesy, but I hope we all will be able to play it."

"Aw, that's sweet." Flora smiled.

"Ya bet that's gonna happen! In fact, let's promise from now! When Yug's game grows big we all have to play it together."

"Yeah!" Bakura smiled and everyone cheered for Yugi's success. Flora smiled at Yugi, already thinking of how to help him until her eyes locked with a particular guy right by the roof's entrance. His skin was tanned that complimented his golden eyes, alongside with his long dark teal hair that spiked from the back of his head. Despite his immobile state, she could feel his resentment from miles away; his eyes screaming plenty of ways he can commit murder and get away with it.

She had a hunch this guy will be a problem, but quietly ignored him to continue cheering Yugi on before class had begun.

As Flora and Yugi talked more, Joey, Tristan, Tea, and Bakura kept their distance and quietly watched them.

"...You know, they really do act like them." Bakura said with a soft smile, "I may not have seen them together when they were here, but I could tell they acted very similar."

"You bet they do." Tristan nodded, "There's a type of...aura around Yugi and Flora. Very familiar."

"Well, it's cause of those two I believe in reincarnation." Joey chuckled with his hands in his pockets, "Looking at them from behind makes you question whether or not it's Atem and (y/n)."

"...almost scary." Tea muttered and Tristan grinned at her,

"Jealous?" Tristan asked, "Careful with that jealousy, you know what happened the last time you were jealous."

"Oh stop it." Tea rolled her eyes at Tristan, "I thought we agreed to not speak of that."

"Might as well remind you since it's still related to Yugi." Tristan smirked and was greeted with a light elbow to his arm.

"Ya know," Joey interrupted Tristan and Tea's banter, "...I still remember the day I met them. Both of them."

"....I do too," Tristan agreed, "...is it wrong to say I miss them?"

"I do too, pal." Joey nodded, "And I'm sure Yugi does. He and Atem were practically brothers, and (y/n) was like the older sister to the both of them."

"She was close with all of us...well.." Tristan smirked at Tea, "...almost."

"I just hope they're both resting at peace." Tea sighed, "Especially (y/n)."

If only that were the case with Kaiba's constant research that he found through extreme analysis pertaining to a certain creature and item.

"...Atlantis was only able to be prosperous because of the Orichalcos." Kaiba mumbled the information he received. He sat in his chair, slouched down as he stared at the screen as his tech slowly translated more artifacts he seized from historians, "...The Orichalcos promised more wealth if a Vessel was given, and the King selfishly gave himself only to be mocked for by the Leviathan...sounds like Dartz." Kaiba rolled his eyes, "With his delusional 'it's all miiinnnee' gig. Never understood him." His eyes went back to the screen, "As punishment, the King was to walk for eternity as his kingdom was destroyed. The fall of Atlantis...the fall of Atlantis...." He repeated the last words, "...this is all history. Is there anything about a ritual..." He asked himself as he continued scrolling through the stolen data, "...Leviathan...stronger than all....not to be tampered with...." He skimmed through the documents until his eye caught something, "...The Leviathan can only be summoned by its Vessel, who had a sacred marriage with Pharaoh Atem under the protection of both Ra and the Leviathan itself, as it allowed proper balance between the mortal and monster realm. Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen provided a cave where the Priestess did rituals twice a year, a cave which has yet to be discovered. However..." Kaiba slowly straightened himself in his chair as he read aloud the following, "...as of recent, some archeologists and historians worked together and may have possibly found the ritual site where the Priestess could've not only ensured balance...but also where the Leviathan could've been-"

His reading got interrupted with an incoming call from Mokuba. He slouched back down on the chair as he picked up the phone,

"You interrupted me, Mokuba."

"Haha, sorry 'bout that." Mokuba laughed, "I figured I should be the one to tell you the news."

"What news." Kaiba raised an eyebrow,

"We found it." Mokuba stretched his arms, "We found the Millennium Puzzle."

"About damn time." Kaiba rose from his seat, "Now all we gotta do is find-"

"Hah, don't worry about that one. It wasn't just the Millennium Puzzle we found bro." Mokuba smirked, "Guess what was found next to it? I'll give you a hint, it starts with an L."

Kaiba had never left his office so quickly and pounced on his jet to head to Egypt. He didn't even allow the jet to properly land once he got there, he left it on auto-pilot to land and hopped off the jet to be greeted by a group of Kaiba's men with Mokuba in the center.

"What's up bro?" Mokuba greeted,

"Where are they?" Kaiba asked,

"We are grateful with your presence, Mr. Kaiba. Both the Millennium Puzzle and the Great Leviathan card are carefully secured in the top elite security box. Nothing can go in or out."

"Good. Take me to them. Now." Kaiba allowed the security to escort him deep inside the cave and finally reached to where the excavations were. Ignoring the Egyptians who aided, he bolted straight to the box and stared at the 33 pieces of the Millennium Puzzle. Once he mentally counted each piece, he glanced next to the pieces and stared at the card that was gently lay next to it.

"....And you're absolutely sure that's the card?"

"Yup. It was found in a separate tomb close to the Pharaoh's tomb. It's likely it was-"

"Do you remember her physically having this card?" Kaiba asked,

"Oh...well yeah." Mokuba nodded, "After that whole Dartz catastrophe, I noticed the card when I was freaking out about her relationship with Yug- Well, more like the Pharaoh." Mokuba shrugged his shoulders, "But I didn't ask her about it."

"As long as you saw it that's all it matters." Kaiba smirked at the glass container, "As long as she had it while she was here, then what we have here is the real deal.." He gingerly touched the pane of the glass before sensing something was wrong. Turning on his wristband, he looked at the amount of people in the cave before he turned to his workers, "Load them both into the chopper. I will reassemble the Puzzle today and figure out how the Leviathan works for a duel."

"Right away, sir!" One worker bolted to the computer section to send the chopper,

"Bro...are you actually going to try and summon the Great Leviathan?" Mokuba asked, "...I mean, we both had an experience with it when Dartz took our souls...and based on what I saw I don't think this is something you should be-"

"Trust me Mokuba. I know what I'm doing." Kaiba interrupted,

"O-kay...and you do know it took Yugi eight years to complete that puzzle, right?"

"That's because he's a simple-minded child." Kaiba snickered and turned to the security guard who promised the chopper, "What's taking so long?"

"So sorry, Mr. Kaiba. The system is on a timed delay for extra security. It'll be a moment." He informed,

"Hm, then let's take some time and get to know each other..." Kaiba sneered and looked at Mokuba, "We have a visitor among us, Mokuba. I know you're here, don't think you can fool me when I'm so close to my goal. Show yourself Aigami, or should I call you Diva?"

It wasn't long before a tan man appeared, covered his face with a cloak but it didn't hide his smirk, "...So you know my real name. Very impressive, Seto Kaiba. But I'd expect no less, so it's quite the honor to meet you." Diva took off his cloak and smirked at him,

"Care to explain how you managed to get here when my tech told me you were in Domino City a mere couple of minutes ago?" Kaiba asked.

"With a power you can't comprehend, something not even your technology could explain nor compete with. Something that allowed us to come and be here." Diva said as a couple more people gathered behind him, they mostly appeared to be kids.

"...What's his deal?" Mokuba asked,

"I assume you're here to take the Millennium Puzzle and the Leviathan away?" Kaiba asked, "Oh sorry, my Millennium Puzzle and my Leviathan?" He corrected himself with a smirk.

Mokuba nervously looked at Kaiba when he said that.

"Who said it was yours?" Diva asked with a chuckle, "We'll see about that. What you're-"

"Oh no you don't kid. No false moves under my watch." A security guard approached Diva from behind and poked his back with a loaded gun.

"O-Oh no!" Diva gasped, "You got me! What ever am I supposed to do~?" Diva asked as a black box appeared beside him, "Oh noo, m-maybe if I use this.." He acted terrified with a smirk on his face as he activated the box. Once he did, various children who were coated in purple appeared all around the room, and the security guard began to dissolve into a golden air.

"A-AUGH!" The guard screamed as he watched his own hand disintegrate into nothing, the gun dropping to the floor to leave the guard in agonizing pain, "H-HELP ME!"

"Stop! What are you doing to him?!" Mokuba stared in horror at how simple yet terrifying this was,

"To a lovely dimension he may splurge in of course~" Diva teased with a knowing smirk, "We are the Plana, we are the new evolution of enlightenment that will berid of all evil in this planet." Diva explained as the security guard was fully dissolved into nothing. Panic seized everyone and they all bolted to leave, leaving Diva alone with Kaiba and Mokuba.

"No one can leave their fate whether they like it or not, especially you, Seto Kaiba. Honestly, you're the worst of them all....trying to resurrect the Pharaoh and his wife with their very own artifacts? Heh, now it may not be so certain with the Pharaoh, but are you truly willing to summon an ancient beast to bring back some girl from the dea-"

"That girl is the most important person in my eyes, and I will use her to drag out her pathetic husband and have one final chat with the both of them." Kaiba hissed, "From someone who has knowledge about the Pharaoh, you've got guts referring to (y/n) like she's nobody. Don't think I don't see the sweat running down your back as my hand is near the Great Leviathan." Kaiba smirked and watched Diva tense up as Kaiba's fingers delicately slide down the pane over to where the card rested.

"D...Don't get cocky," Diva stuttered, "Y-You'll get your punishment in all due time." He smirked at the Plana box that shifted its target from the security guard to Kaiba himself. Mokuba gasped at Kaiba's hand that slowly started to dissolve until his hand was surrounded with green sparks that burned the golden attachment off of him. Silence filled the room for at least a minute, and Kaiba stared at his hand with shock, he at least expected to use his technological methods to push this Plana thing away, but green sparks? He also noticed Diva turn a little pale once these sparks came in, and his eyes were latched onto the glass.

He smirked and looked at his hand, "Mokuba. What we have is the real deal."

"N...Not for long." Diva straightened himself up and cleared his throat, "I have alternative means to get your punishment, and my cards is one of them."

"What a coincidence, so do I." Kaiba's smirk grew as he opened his disk and placed his cards in, his new headpiece eased into his hair and stared at him, "Then how about we take care of that then, shall we~?"

Diva was later found in Domino High School, quietly listening to Yugi's graduation speech in the way corner of the gymnasium. He stared at Yugi with his mind clouded with thoughts until he heard his name be called. He turned to see his little sister, Sera, behind him with concern in her face.

"...You dueled Kaiba." Sera asked.

"I did." Diva nodded, "I'm afraid he's located the Millennium Puzzle. If he's able to assemble the puzzle, the Pharaoh will return. But don't worry, he won't assemble the puzzle. He can't. At all."

"Why? Once the Pharaoh returns, our power will be lo-"

"Not unless I shred the body and destroy it." Diva coldly spat while his eyes glared at Yugi, who innocently bowed after he did his speech.

"You're going too far." Sera narrowed her eyes, "You're blinded by hate, and it will soon destroy you if you don't stop it!"

"Don't worry, I won't. That's why I trust you enough with this." He opened her hand and gave her one piece of the Millennium Puzzle that he stole from Kaiba. Sera gasped when her eyes locked onto the piece and stared at him,

"....Diva. I sense something else on you." Sera mumbled, "...What else did you take."

"...I can't escape from your watch..." Diva chuckled and pulled out a green card that sparked fear down Sera's spine. Her whole body trembled upon staring at the card he had in his hand,

"Thats.." Sera's voice trembled, "..Brother...where did you get the Great Leviathan."

"Apparently, it wasn't just the Millennium Puzzle Seto Kaiba wanted...he also wanted to bring back the Pharaoh's wife." Diva hummed as he stared at the ancient card, "He probably thought if he were to summon the Leviathan or bring about the Orichalcos, he could bring her back. Of course...he isn't wrong. If he did try to summon the Leviathan, he indirectly resurrects the Great Queen of the Orichalcos. It is pretty much a taboo to even have the card in the first place..." He nods, "...which can be a problem. According to Master Shin, the Pharaoh loved her so much he would do anything to follow her no matter the circumstances. So if his wife came, then there would be no doubt the Puzzle would not have even been needed to bring the Pharaoh back."

"Brother, please reconsider this." Sera had a stern look on her face, "Do you not remember the warnings Master Shin had with the Orichalcos besides her relations to the Pharaoh? He warned us various times to not even look into the Orichalcos under any circumstances. Do you not remember what happened at Atlantis-"

"Just because I have it doesn't mean I am to use it, Sera." Diva sneered at her, "I am not as egotistical as Dartz to think that I can use the Leviathan despite its grand power....to take souls away...and send them to utter torture...." His eyes drifted to the card as he muttered the last couple of words.

"Then give the card to me, Diva." Sera reached out her hand, "I will hold onto it."

"Why should I give it to you?" Diva asked with his eyes slowly meeting hers,

"So it's guaranteed you won't use it." Sera responded, "I am worried about you. Having such power isn't a good sign, especially with how you've been carrying nothing but vengeance-"

"Oh I see, you don't trust me." Diva's eyes narrowed.

"Wh-" She stared at him in shock, "I-It's not I don't trust you...I-I am doing this for your own safety-"

"I don't like how you're treating me, Sera." Diva retorted and placed the card close to his chest, "The card stays with me. I must make sure no one touches this card, or it's game over for me. I can at least give you a piece of the Millennium Puzzle." He gestured to the piece, which she took with caution and looked at him worried.

"....Brother. Promise me you won't summon that card." Sera warned, "If you try to summon that card, it'll be game over for you nonetheless."

He said nothing and headed back to his classmates and blended into the crowds to get closer to his victim.

Sera stared at the piece Diva gave her, then separated them and held out one piece. She knew only one thing to do.

"And you're sure you saw this supposed-girl-named-Sera?" Flora asked, "...Kinda weird you saw some little girl in the shop late at night..."

"I swear I did." Yugi nodded as he looked around for a potential Joey, who had suddenly gone missing, "How else would you think I got my hands on a piece of the Millennium Puzzle? Especially when the Puzzle has long been buried after Atem left?"

"So a ghost?" Flora asked,

"......No...?"

"You hesitated."

"Well, I can't tell whether or not if it is a ghost...but she seemed very real." Yugi replied,

"Yugi!" Tristan hollered from far, "This is all I found of Joey!"

Yugi and Flora tensed and ran to where Tristan was to find nothing but his bike and his old duel disk.

"...It's not like Joey to leave his duel disk like this." Tea said,

"No chance he would." Tristan agreed,

"I spoke with Joey earlier, and he said he was hanging out with Bakura and Aigami." Yugi informed.

"If we find them, we might find him." Flora mumbled in thought.

"Then let's go find them!" Tristan said and headed in one direction for everyone else to follow. It ended up taking hours for them to even hear any of the three's response. By the time they got any form of update, it was long nighttime with the clouds beginning to foreshadow a rainy night. Unfortunately for them, the update wasn't what they had hoped, for they encountered Aigami smirking at them with plenty of phantom-like children surrounding both him and the group.

"..you're not Aigami..who are you?!" Yugi hollered at his former friend.

"Aigami never existed to begin with. It has been only me, myself and I, Diva."

"Where's Joey?" Flora asked and got a glare from Diva,

"...In another dimension where he'll never return...and so is Bakura if you're wondering. Not that anyone cares. But as for you..." Diva turned his body to face Flora, "I fear you-"

Diva got interrupted by golden dust taking the form of Joey right infront of him. Diva blinked and stared at the golden dust slowly solidifying, then dissipating to leave Joey alone as though he was placed down gently. Joey blinked and slowly looked up, then around for his eyes to lighten when he saw Yugi, Flora, Tristan, and Tea. The phantom children started to fade in and out of existence, reflecting Diva's confused state as Joey rose from the floor to greet his friends.

"It's cause I got these guys with me, pal." Joey smirked at Diva, "Ya won't understand, considering how you have no friends."

"....heh." Diva smirked, "No matter, I'd rather you come back than Bakura. Speaking of Bakura, it's such a shame that you came back." Diva narrowed his eyes and feigned sorrow.

"..How so." Joey's eyes narrowed, a little concerned at Diva's sudden act.

"Because now he's all alone..." Diva hummed before a smirk emerged in his face, "...But not for long~" He teased and locked eyes with Flora, the same golden dust that both took and returned Joey latched onto her. Flora watched, paralyzed with horror as the particles forcibly snatched her away from the reality she lived in, and caused everyone around her to panic.

"FLORA!" Yugi gasped and tried to hold her only for the particles to quickly engulf her and take her away to the very same dimension that held Joey, and currently Bakura. Diva sighed with relief despite Yugi staring at where Flora stood with wide, blank eyes. Joey's fists clenched and turned with nothing but rage.

"Why you-" Joey gritted his teeth and rose his sleeve for a proper punch, "YOU BETTER GET READY BECAUSE THIS IS ABOUT TO HURT-"

Within moments of her disappearance, a piercing green bolt struck right next to Yugi. Everyone tensed up at the sight as they watched Flora standing there with a confused look on her face. She stood as though she never vanished in the first place. After a moment's silence, Yugi bolted and wrapped his arms around her to hold her tightly.

"...what the-" Flora blinked, unable to register what had happened.

"HOLY SHIT!! WHAT WAS THAT?!" Joey screamed and eagerly turned to Tristan, "DID I COME IN LIKE THAT?"

"You wish..." Tristan shook his head and watched Joey's eager look vanish as quickly as it came.

"...What is this..." Diva muttered and took a step back, "...I...Is there something wrong with the Plana?" He stared at the box in extreme bewilderment and shock.

"Nothing can beat the power of friendship!" Tea glared at Diva, "Not even your stupid Plana or whatever it's called!"

"Now do us a favor and give us Bakura or else I will really punch you!" Joey growled at Diva, "If you're so worried he's alone in that dimension then give him back to us!"

"...Th...This changes nothing." Diva tried to keep his composure, "Y-Your fates are sealed so long as you live." He hissed as he slowly evaporated into the air, alongside the fading phantom children.

"...what a coward." Joey muttered under his breath as rain started to pour down to the streets.

"We can find Bakura ourselves. Let's split up!" Tea offered.

"Flora will be with me." Yugi immediately informed everyone as he tightened his grip on Flora, "You guys go ahead."

"Yug'." Joey turned to Yugi.

"Yeah?"

"...Thanks."

"For what?"

"Nothing! Let me know if you find Bakura!" Joey bit his lip and bolted in one direction. Not wasting another second, Yugi looked at Flora and pulled himself away from her with his hands still on her shoulders.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

"Y...Yes.." Flora nodded, "...It was so weird, Yugi. I...I was almost in some decaying town but there was some lady.."

"A lady?" Yugi tensed up, "What do you mean?"

"She was in the middle of a street, she was staring at me with some....aura I can't describe." Flora explained with her eyes averting to the floor, "...But it wasn't evil or anything...it felt familiar. She didn't even do anything but there was this green light...and the next thing I knew I was being lifted by and flown out of there before anything else could happen-"

"What did she look like?" Yugi asked with a stern look on his face.

"I...don't remember the details, it happened so fast- Oh! She had different colored eyes!" Flora perked up upon the memory.

"....then she isn't resting. Not at all.." Yugi muttered under his breath with his eyes narrowing.

"What do you mean?" Flora asked only to watch Yugi shake his head and move his hands from her shoulder to her hands.

"We gotta go find Bakura. Let's go." Yugi switched the subject and took Flora with him towards a different direction than Tristan, Joey, and Tea. They both ran down plenty of streets, calling out for the boy who was in another dimension. Eventually, Yugi had to stop for a breather and rested his arm against a pole while taking large breaths.

"M...My cardio stinks." Yugi gasped as Flora panted for breath next to him, looking at the street with an eyebrow raised.

"...Yugi?"

"Yeah?"

"...There's an idiot standing in the middle of the street staring at you."

"...Does he look like Bakura?" Yugi asked and looked at the middle of the street and froze when he recognized the man, "....Even better...Kaiba."

Kaiba, who had stared at Yugi despite the traffic honking, only nodded his head in acknowledgement, "Long time no see Yugi." Kaiba greeted,

"...Kaiba..what are you doing here." Yugi asked as he approached him in the middle of the street. Flora cautiously followed while apologizing to the drivers.

"..and why in the middle of the street-" Flora tried to ask but was greeted with a cold shoulder from Kaiba.

"It won't be long from now that my new duel disk will be released, and when it does I will be hosting a tournament." Kaiba informed Yugi, "And you will be attending."

"What?" Yugi blinked, "S...Since when-" Yugi attempted to ask but was greeted with the Millennium Puzzle being presented by Kaiba's hand.

"...You...you didn't.." Yugi turns pale when he sees the Puzzle right infront of him.

"I did." Kaiba nodded, "I even obtained the Great Leviathan until Diva stole it from me."

Yugi's heart dropped."...How did you get that." Yugi asked, "Especially the Great Leviathan."

"Not important." Kaiba scoffed, "What's more important is that it's not complete. And you're attending the duel so I can finish the puzzle with the pieces you and Diva have."

"How...how did you know Yugi has a piece?!" Flora asked,

"I know everything that goes on in Domino." Kaiba finally looked at Flora and froze for a second.

"...Kaiba, why are you doing this? What is your goal?" Yugi asked, a little cautious with how Kaiba stared down Flora and slowly walked infront of her.

"...The goal I've been reaching for will always remain the same. I want to show the Pharaoh I am the greatest. When I win and take both yours and Diva's pieces, you will resurrect the Pharaoh, and I will duel him and I will defeat him!"

"...Kaiba..." Yugi muttered under his breath as Kaiba's helicopter swooped in and opened its doors for Kaiba to take off.

"Be honest, Yugi. I know you want to see him too." Kaiba sneered, "Alongside with his wife once I get back the Leviathan that Diva took. Oh, and if you're wondering about Diva, I have him. As long as he has the other piece he will be participating as well, and both of you will be surrendering the pieces to me so I can finish what has long been started."

"Hey Yugi! Long time no see! Looking goo- WOAH!" Mokuba peeked out of the helicopter to greet Yugi but found himself staring at Flora, "Wow! Looks like history does repeat itself! Hope Tea is fine with it though" He laughed at his own remark as he lowered the foot handle for his brother.

Kaiba said nothing and hoisted himself on the foot holder to pull him up, "I will be seeing you soon Yugi, and after I beat you, I will be seeing the Pharaoh and (y/n) themselves." And just like that, the helicopter took off, leaving Yugi and Flora in the middle of the street with impatient drivers waiting to cross.

"...What an ass.." Flora mumbled as Yugi averted his gaze to the floor to find the Millennium Box sitting not quite far from him. Gasping, he took Flora's hand and quickly ran to get the box as the cars quickly sped by, thinking they were now in the clear to drive. Once he grabbed the box, he rose from the floor and turned to Flora, who immediately gasped and tried to push Yugi away from the truck that was about to hit them. Just as Yugi protectively wrapped his arms around Flora and expected a massive hit, he heard a small voice call his name from behind. Within moments, Yugi blinked and realized he and Flora were already across the street.

"...F-Flora are you okay?" Yugi immediately averted his gaze to his girlfriend and sighed in relief when he watched her nod.

"...I thought we were gonna die because of Kaiba's massive ego.." Flora stared at the street in horror,

"Wouldn't be the first time.." Yugi muttered under his breath and turned around to find Sera quietly staring at him. "...Thank you, Sera."

"No problem, Yugi." She responded and Flora turned to see the little girl in the pink robe,

"...Oh...so you weren't hallucinating.." She muttered and got a small glare from Yugi.

"...Sera, I have to know. Why did you give me this puzzle piece?" Yugi asked Sera and opened the box to see the sole piece she gave him.

"I gave you that because it may be the only way to save my brother Diva." Sera responded,

"...What are you talking about." Yugi raised an eyebrow,

"Hatred and revenge are driving my brother insane, Yugi." Sera said, "...And I must warn you now, he has the Great Leviathan hidden in his deck."

"...I know, Kaiba was the one who pulled it out in the first place." Yugi nodded and tried to ignore his heart dropping for the second time upon hearing "The Great Leviathan" and "Diva has" in one sentence.

"...I am not sure if Diva is going to summon the Great Leviathan...I tried talking him out of it but he never batted an eye to my words. Maybe you can help him realize this is the wrong path.."

"What I don't understand is why me." Yugi narrowed his eyes,

"...You are the only one who can bring him to the light, please.." Sera pleaded as she slowly faded from view, "He's all that I have....please..." Eventually, she vanished and left Yugi and Flora by themselves. Yugi sighed and took out the piece from the box, now lost in thought about what he has to do now. First with Sera giving him the puzzle piece, Joey with his brief disappearance, now the tournament, and now Kaiba telling him he had the Great Leviathan, a literal ancient serpent that is extremely worse than possibly anyone he's ever fought. Yugi sighed and shook his head, his heart ached at the fact his closest friends can never properly rest.

"...Yugi.." Flora tugged his sleeve for attention. Yugi immediately turned to look at her,

"Yeah?"

"....This Great Leviathan..." She nervously bit her lip, "....How bad is it?"

"....It tormented a very good friend of mine for a very long time, Flora." Yugi answered, "....If you asked me if I had to choose between dealing with Kaiba's stubbornness for a week or bearing the Leviathan for an hour, I'd immediately choose Kaiba."

The next day was the tournament Kaiba had warned Yugi, and Yugi was already there. He got some comfort from Flora earlier that night up until he had to be separated from her, but he could now only hold the Millennium box for comfort as he was risen to face both Diva and Kaiba. Yugi couldn't hear Kaiba boasting about how there was an even greater challenger hidden among all three of them, waiting to be released with the side of the pieces both him and Diva have. Yugi could only turn and demand for Kaiba to leave Diva for him, which Kaiba granted after a bit of persuasion. Even with Yugi asking Diva to let things go and give back Bakura, he was only greeted with a cold shoulder as the duel began. With Kaiba's new technology, the duel became far more advanced than any other duel that Yugi had experienced. And although he had tried to push aside the realistic feeling to focus on the tournament, he felt something lurking behind Diva...as though it was warning Yugi of what was to come. He watched Diva eagerly summoned four shadow monsters and turned the field to an oceanic field. Of course, Yugi had back ups to properly protect himself for the offensive attacks, but he could tell with Diva's growing grin that he was planning something. It was only the manner of-

"So you can tell I am preparing for something?" Diva interrupted his thoughts with his face relaxing.

"Well, that smile certainly tells me that." Yugi nods in reply, "...and I am scared to ask."

Diva chuckled, "You should be. Two turns from now will be your last." He growled with passion as his pupils dilated, his smile growing bigger as though his sanity has been long lost. Yugi gulped with his hands shaking as he pulled his next card. Diva intensely stared with eagerness and anticipation, as though he was waiting for Yugi to wrap up his final turn of this duel.

"I...I summon Lord Gaia in attack mode." He cleared his throat and watched his card activate and rise in an offensive position. Diva only chuckled as he gently caressed the card that rested on his deck, waiting to be pulled.

"Yugi, I have a question for you." Diva spoke.

"Y...Yes?" Yugi asked,

"Why do you think there are four monsters on the field?" Diva hummed as his eyes danced to match with Yugi.

".....why?" Yugi definitely did not like this aura change from Diva.

"Guess." Diva scoffed as his eyes rolled, "Alongside with an oceanic field? They don't match with four dark monster cards now do they?" He playfully added with a smirk on his face.

'Oceanic field? Well, obviously he's right. Dark monsters benefit more from the night field.' Yugi thought to himself, confused with Diva's current choice of field the more he looked at it.

"It seems you forget, don't you Yugi?" Diva hummed as his smirk grew, "Tell me, what city comes from the ocean?"

"Wh- city?" Yugi was baffled with Diva's odd questions, "From the ocean?"

Diva lightly shook his head at him, "It seems as though I need to be a little more simple with you, huh. Very well. Tell me Yugi, what is the most ancient monster you've ever experienced?"

'Most ancient monster? Well obviously the Egyptian Gods?' Yugi automatically thought in reply, 'What other beast could-'

It hit.

It hit like a fucking bus.

Diva's grin grew intensely as he watched Yugi go pale, "....Use your last turn wisely~" He hummed as Yugi's anxieties shot through the roof.

Yugi was trembling. No way. Nooo way did Kaiba actually allow Diva to have it.

Could it be possible?

Oh God, if that's true...

Yugi found himself losing concentration as he shakily pulled out his next card. He couldn't even handle its raw power, what makes him think he can handle it again? He wasn't even able to cast, he simply put the mesely spell card face-down. He watched Diva's eyes follow his hand, and once the card showed face-down, Diva let out a loud, intense and insane laugh.

"Pathetic last turn!" He cheered with his arms up in excitement, "Now, it's time to wrap things up then, don't you think?"

Yugi gritted his teeth and found himself mentally preparing for impact as he watched Diva smirk, "And now, with all this I am able to summon-" He eagerly whisked out a card from his deck. Yugi's heart dropped from his stomach upon witnessing Diva's confident smirk and confidently flipped the card without looking at it.

"THE GREAT LEVIATHAN!" He cheered eagerly and awaited to see Yugi's face go pale, or even lose balance of how the fear would intensely strike down -

He watched Yugi's face grow from absolute fear to downright confusion.

Diva blinked at this, his eager smirk practically vanished within seconds as he pulled the card to his face to find a base-level trap card staring right at him.

"Wh...." Diva couldn't believe his eyes as he stared at this card, "I...I could've sworn it was next...t...the aura was practically the same—" He couldn't tell if he was embarrassed or confused at this. He tried peeking through his deck by skimming to find no sign of the ancient serpent. Just as he tried to look under his disk, he felt electricity run through his veins which caused him to quickly straighten up. He stared at his deck to find the four cards trembling in place with green sparks emitting from behind them.

"Wh.." Confused, he looked at the battlefield to find the four monsters he summoned twitching irregularly, some of them would bend in an uncomfortable state, and it wasn't long before all four of them released a painful and wretched scream as though each their limbs were being torn apart. The entire battlefield stared in horror and bewilderment as everyone watched Diva's four cards twist in a horrid manner as though something was squeezing them; arms bent in each angle to represent a horrid cube while being twisted, hips being dislocated and forced to go on opposing directions repeatedly, neck being strained to a certain angle while their chests were bulging forwards. Even Kaiba felt the urge to vomit as Yugi was on the verge of vomiting, his whole body trembling at the cracks and pops of bones that came from four monsters. Everyone was stiff with fear,

"....What the hell.." Tristan mumbled,

"I...I think I'm gonna be sick.." Tea covered her mouth, "Wh...What's going on?"

"...That's what happens if ya try to summon what's not yours." Joey shuddered, "Reminds me of when the Great Leviathan ate that demon god Atem fought."

Diva couldn't believe his eyes. Out of all the things he was expecting, it was not this. He averted his gaze back to his disk to find the cards slowly dissolving from their places. Alarmed, Diva stared at his cards fading and quickly looked to find the four monsters being dragged from their places while being forcibly twisted to face Diva. What concerned yet confused Diva was how these four monsters averted to Yugi's side.

"...You.....you thief..." He growled, "YOU STOLE MY LEVIATH-"

"Who said it was yours?" A female voice interrupted Diva.

He stopped and stiffened, now the fear backfired directly onto him. For the first time throughout this whole duel, he felt his soul drop and his body trembled when he realized there was someone standing next to Yugi, with her own disk, and had his four cards he was going to sacrifice. Yugi, who immediately recognized the voice, looked to his right and was now on the verge of breaking down on the spot with tears streaming down his face.

"...No way....is....is that..." Joey's voice cracked and he rose from his seat with tears brimming his eyes.

"...It is..." Tristan gasped, "...Its..."

"(y/n)." Kaiba stared at you in pure disbelief.

Mokuba stared at the battlefield with tears forming until he realized something, "She....she has a card in her hand!" He pointed out and everyone watched in pure shock and disbelief as this sudden new duelist placed one card between her fingers behind the four cards that slithered onto her disk, with four lines connecting all five cards together. The moment the card was placed, dark clouds quickly swirled around her with green lightning bolts striking nearby as to prepare for a grand arrival of something big. The four monsters were soon surrounded with a green shield, the base forming a very familiar five-angled seal that rapidly spun in place. Each monster immediately held onto their chest and gritted in pain as though there was a pressure bounding them in place under the name of the Seal. One by one, each monster started to disintegrate and was shot straight into the sky. Everyone watched with curiosity and watched a vast black hole open with the aide of the four monsters sacrificed. A low, hissing sound came from the emptiness of the hole, and soon emerged green slits that glared down on the battlefield. Slowly taking form, the Leviathan slithered down and flicked away the four shields that now carried no monsters.

"The....Leviathan..." Kaiba muttered upon the mere sight of the Leviathan, and soon drifted to look at the Vessel to find her silently staring at him with the mixture of disappointment yet understanding, then turned to Yugi and smirked at him,

"Oh come now, I come back and you're in tears?" You smirked at Yugi, "That's rare to find. I am so telling Atem this."

"Haha...wh...what can I say? I...I missed you..." Yugi hiccuped as he wiped his tears with his sleeve. "I....I know it's a bad time...b...but can I hug you?"

You stared at him for a couple of seconds, "...I see no problems with-"

Taking no further time away, Yugi practically bounced on you with his arms wrapping around your back with tears falling from his cheeks. "Wh...What are you doing here?" He managed to ask.

"...For reasons," Your eyes averted to Kaiba, who tensed up at this contact, "..But let's not indulge on that. We have a duel to win."

"K..Kaiba, w-we know this isn't allowed-" Diva turned to Kaiba, who glared at him in return.

"It is now." Kaiba hissed, "Continue the duel so I can take care of her. Now."

"Sorry you were disturbed like this, (y/n)." Yugi apologized, "If I had known earlier of Kaiba I would've-"

"Don't apologize for anything." You interrupted him, "Besides, I low-key expected this."

Diva gulped and trembled as he pulled another card to put in the battlefield, his eyes darting everywhere all around you as though he was looking for something. He later shook his head to pull himself together and waited for Yugi's turn.

"Don't go Yugi." You stopped him from pulling his card, "Wait for me to wipe out the battlefield, then finish him off"

"Alright." Yugi graciously bowed with a smile and looked at Diva, who was staring at you with absolute terror. You cracked your knuckles with a long sigh.

"Diva, right?" You called out to the opposing side, "I thank you for preparing things for me. Made things a lot easier."

The Leviathan huffed with steam fuming out of its nostrils, its tongue slithered out and back into its mouth as it entered an offensive position.

"And the monsters you gave were pretty big ones too..." You stared at the four he sacrificed, "You really went all out huh...almost reminds me of some people."

"N...No..." Diva took a step back, "Th...Things shouldn't have been like this...I-"

"-Should've thought about what your dear little sister had warned." You finished his sentence and pointed to Diva's side of the field, "Finish them."

With a loud hiss, the Great Leviathan surged forward and wrapped its entire body through each and every single monster card on Diva's side and choked them to death. Within seconds, each card dissipated into space, which decreased Diva's life points enough for Yugi to make the final blow. Yugi took his chance, and seconds after Diva's side was clear, he struck with all his might and dropped Diva's lifepoints to zero. Diva had yet to process what had just happened, the mere wind the Leviathan had that brushed him sent chills down his body. He stared in absolute shock at the power of the Leviathan and found himself to lose consciousness because of it. His life points dropped to zero alongside his body.

"Finally." Kaiba hopped off his pane and walked over to you and Yugi, swooping up the piece of the Millennium Puzzle from Diva, "Yugi, it's time to-"

"Kaiba, why do you have the puzzle?" You interrupted Kaiba, "You already had the Leviathan, so why take the puzzle?"

"Why do you think I have the puzzle? I have a duel I need to finish with him-"

"...Kaiba, he's not going to come." You shook your head, "Didn't Yugi tell you that?"

"Plenty." Kaiba rolled his eyes, "There is no way Atem would dare skip a duel-"

"You pulled all this while Atem had...other interests." You briefly averted your gaze, "So, hear it from me. He's not gonna come with you reassembling the puzzle."

"...Don't worry, there are more ways to bring him here." Kaiba stared down at you, "'Till Death do us Part' doesn't exist between you two, especially since I interrupted his interests."

Yugi stepped forward and put his arm infront of you, "Kaiba, whatever you're going to try is not going to work. Don't bring (y/n) into this for your plan with Atem."

"Yugi, I am afraid you underestimate me." Kaiba sneered at Yugi, "(y/n) and I have unfinished business regardless of her husband. If you focus only on her and I, you'll find her husband to be a bonus."

"Oh wow." You blinked, surprised at how Kaiba's dialect changed.

"Besides, once I have both her and the Pharaoh, things will be much easier on my-"

Kaiba's answer was soon interrupted with a powerful force that oozed dark energy. You froze in place and looked behind Kaiba to find the whole area empty.

"...Where is Diva?" You asked as suddenly a golden cube appeared before you.

"....well, there's his cube." Yugi pointed to the cube as it violently shook. You pulled Yugi closer to you as the cube widened slightly to allow the burning mark of a familiar item.

"...Don't tell me Diva has had the Millenium Ring." You groaned to Yugi.

"...Apparently he has..." Yugi mumbled as the cube bursted with dark energy that warped into a giant portal in the shape of a cube as a crudely bloodied monster forced its way out, already laughing loudly as it wiped away all of its surroundings.

".......and there's Diva, I suppose?" You mumbled.

"PREPARE FOR YOUR DEFEAT, FILTHY QUEEN OF THE ORICHALCOS. NOTHING CAN STOP ME NOW!"

".........nope, sounds like Dartz." You muttered and shuffled your deck.

"AND YOU, YUGI MOTOU AND SETO KAIBA. IT'S TIME FOR THE GAMES TO BEGIN!"

"Diva or not, It's nothing we can't stop. Once this is all over, we will finish things." Kaiba sneered at you.

From that to witnessing both Kaiba and Yugi fall to their potential deaths was rather shocking to you.

You were honestly lucky the Leviathan remained by your side, if it wasn't you'd be in big shit...more than how you already are. The oozing energy that tried sucking you away was very persistent, you had to cleanse yourself through the Leviathan more than once. But with Kaiba and Yugi down, it was going to be very hard on you. You could only hear Diva laugh as you cleansed yourself from the energy once more, the Leviathan tightly wrapped around you to protect you.

"And how many more times will you be cleansing yourself? Compared to the power you showed earlier, this is nothing! Has the Queen dropped since then? Oh..you poor thing, and here I thought the Leviathan was strong...Dartz was right. You made it weak."

"Just wait until I smack some sense into you." You huffed as you pulled another card.

"HAH! Talking as though you'll live longer to see that, seeing as how I have taken care of Yugi and Seto Kaiba within MINUTES! Soon, you will fall too...I can sense you're failing....oooho yes, I have waited long enough for-"

He was soon interrupted with a golden light that pierced through from where Yugi collapsed. You felt pure and familiar energy swoop through you, practically taking care of the curse that latched onto you through Diva's wrath.

"WH-WHAT'S THIS?!" Yet once more, Diva stared in absolute horror despite his monstrous appearance and watched a figure emerge from the light.

"And I thought the Leviathan would solve all the problems here.." You heard a very familiar voice ring from behind you. You perked up at this and turned to the source with a stare.

"And I thought you were gonna come sooner just to flaunt your skills." You raised an eyebrow at him, "Where were you?"

"Meh, I already did my flaunting much earlier. Wanted to see how you could handle the spotlight." Atem shrugged his shoulders and stared at Diva, "....Dang, he does ooze bad energy. Are you feeling okay?"

"Tired." You responded, "This brat is making Dartz look like a baby."

"......Even Bakura..." Atem mumbled as he pulled out the Dark Magician, "Don't worry, love. I will finish this."

"Then do so quickly. I have things to do." You groaned with relief and allowed the Leviathan to swallow you whole.

Kaiba angrily made his way back to his office and towards his computer room. Yet again, everything that he has done was all for naught. The Pharaoh did arrive, but he wasn't conscious to see him. His wife did arrive, but Kaiba had little time to properly finish things off.

All that effort. All of it.

Down the toilet.

He slammed the door open to realize no one was in the computer room, as only one monitor held all the information he gathered about the Orichalcos and the Great Leviathan. He growled at this and mentally noted to fire every single person who was supposed to be here in this office.

"...I'll take care of this myself then." Kaiba grumbled as he headed to his chair to realize someone was sitting on it. He slowed down and came to a stop when he noticed this, as his eyes locked onto the ground to find the chair occupied.

"...Whoever you are, you have no authority to be here. You're lucky I am not in the mood to call the police, but that can be replaced with my temper." Kaiba sneered as he watched the chair be swiftly turned around. The moment he saw who was sitting on the chair, he stiffened and stared with his anger vanishing within seconds.

"Relax, it's just me." You assured, "Just as you wanted."

"...I thought you went back to your precious hubby and daughter." Kaiba narrowed his eyes.

"Tempting, but I can't." You shrugged your shoulders and pointed at the monitor, "Because of this."

"So it does bound you here then." Kaiba raised an eyebrow, "As long as the Orichalcos remains here, you are here too."

"Yeah, it does. Do you know why?" You asked.

"Indulge me."

"Because the Orichalcos isn't supposed to be here. Not at all."

"Is that why it was so difficult for me to wring out anything about it?" Kaiba crossed his arms,

"Yes." You confirmed, "It can be briefly talked about, but no efforts to bring it to your present time because it pretty much brings another Dartz. I'm sure you remember Dartz."

"You mean that pathetic loser who bought my company?" Kaiba sneered.

"Yeah," You nodded, "Schools can be taught of my history, but it must not be repeated. That's why there's rarely any information that's solid enough for any type of resurrection....which apparently doesn't abode your boat." You averted your gaze to the monitor, "Sheesh, look at all this information that you've gathered, you even managed to find the card's location...dunno why the Leviathan had me leave the card here in the first place to be honest. You're making me question who's crazier. You or Dar-"

"Why." Kaiba clenched his fists, "Why did you leave."

He watched you fall into a momentary silence. "...You know, every time you growled my name, I could hear you."

"What?" Kaiba was taken aback with this, "What does that-"

"Because of the rage you had. It was so vast, so negative that I could hear it in the afterlife. I would get chills down my spine....hehe, it even concerned Atem at some point because he thought I was coming down with something at first."

"...I'm glad I made myself known in the afterlife." Kaiba tilted his head, "Now what does that have to do with-"

"I know, Kaiba." You leaned forward and tied your hands together, "..And so does Atem. There are things that were left untouched by the time we left, and it had to do with you."

"...You knew and still left?" Kaiba's voice trembled.

"It's not like we had any other choice. It was time for us to leave, and honestly, I really should not be here. You're lucky Diva stole that card-"

"What makes you say that?!" Kaiba hissed, "You know how long I've been researching to find that damn card and understand its function for it to be stolen from me!?"

"-because if he didn't, I would have come back as your enemy." You calmly finished. "The Leviathan doesn't care about my relations, if you have what should be mine I have to take it back."

"....I swore to myself I would drag the both of you out to finish things." Kaiba sneered, "And I will not stop until I've-"

"Kaiba, we both know that this isn't healthy." You interrupted him, "...at least in my end of things, I can't speak for Atem with his. But I've known you long enough to know that you know this too."

"...then how else am I going to say goodbye to you." Kaiba muttered under his breath with his gaze on the floor.

"....I'm not going to lie, Kaiba. After I left for the afterlife....no...even before that, I didn't like how Nathaniel didn't bring you along with him like how he brought Mai." You leaned back to the chair, "It was a mistake on his end. I wanted to say goodbye to you and Mokuba, especially Nymphi. She realized she didn't say goodbye to Mokuba right when the door closed."

"Oh don't play dumb (y/n)." Kaiba shook his head, "You know she had said her goodbyes to Mokuba."

"If you're wondering why I didn't do the same, it's because if I did, it'd be more of a nightmare than a dream." You chuckled to yourself, "But I am here now, Kaiba, but I can't really be here for long. All of this has to be properly erased."

"...I have you right at my clutches, and you're making me let go?" Kaiba asked to meet your gaze. He clenched his fists and bit his lip, "...Fine. Do it."

"Do what?" You blinked,

"Oh don't play that on me, (y/n). You can easily remove all of that within seconds. I don't know why you decided to sit down and talk when you're constantly saying how you shouldn't be-"

"Is it wrong to have a final talk with a close friend?" You asked with a sad smile on your face, "Besides, I have a proposition for you."

"Proposition?" Kaiba blinked,

"You want to finish the duel you started with Atem, it has practically corrupted your heart and soul because of how our sudden departure affected you. Thankfully, because you weren't the one who attempted to cast the Leviathan or use it, there is no punishment for you."

"What does that have to do with anything?" Kaiba asked,

"Because with that, I can do plenty with you," You smirked, "Even bring you with me to the afterlife."

Kaiba's breath cut short and he stared down on you, "...Are you serious."

"I can take your soul with me to the afterlife so you can have your duel. No problems whatsoever. However, there are two costs to this." You raised your hand and lifted one finger, "One, you only get one duel. This means the moment the duel is over, no matter the victor, you are to be sent back and accept the results. Two, if you say yes to this, then you are to be given a role hand given by me-"

"And that is?" Kaiba asked eagerly as he took a step closer to you. You blinked at him before continuing,

"The role would be as follows. You are to make sure no one in this dueling world is to try to resurrect the Leviathan nor use the Orichalcos. Think of yourself as a contemporary bodyguard of the Orichalcos." You raised the second finger, "That is my proposition. Do you-"

"I accept." Kaiba said without hesitation. "Bring me there. Now."

".....You are aware once I erase this, you will be given this role ontop of your position as CEO of KaibaCorp." You reminded him and watched him whip out his disk and put his deck inside.

"I've practiced for a full year with his tactics. This deck will grant me the privilege of watching his position as the King of Games fall under my hands. Being a bodyguard of something practically nonexistent in our present time means nothing to me." Kaiba responded,

"....As long as you at least try to take that role seriously.." You muttered with an eyebrow raised as your eye began to glow once more, the familiar light breached Kaiba within seconds. Embracing the light, he felt himself slip from his own body, and his unconscious body collapsed on the floor within seconds.

"...Maybe I should've taken him to his room before I sent him there..." You mumbled to yourself as you stared at Kaiba's body on the floor.

"You think so? I think he's better off on the floor." You heard a familiar voice hum from behind the door. Startled, you looked at the source and blinked at him,

"I thought you went home."

"Well, I almost did until I realized you didn't follow me." Atem responded and stared at Kaiba's body, "...you should definitely leave him on the floor."

"Atem." You frowned at him, "Imagine Mokuba's face when he sees Kaiba on the floor like this. They'll end up burying him alive."

"He'd make a nice rug." He smirked at the body.

"Atem. You want to traumatize Mokuba?" You asked and watched him laugh.

"Not Mokuba. I want him to wake up uncomfortable once I beat him."

"Speaking of," You blinked, "I sent him immediately because I thought you'd be there already-"

"He can wait a few extra minutes." Atem rolled his eyes and approached you with his hands in his pockets, "He's waited since we left, so a few minutes won't kill him....again."

"He's probably shaking the throne room-"

"As much as we did?" Atem blinked and smirked upon seeing your face go red.

"A...Anyway.." You gently slapped your cheeks in hopes to get rid of the redness, "W-What actually made you come? Diva is taken care of, and so is Kaiba....which is in progress." You asked as Atem slithered his hands around your waist with a hum.

"I wanted to make sure Kaiba doesn't do any last minute harm to you as a way to bring me back." Atem sighed and stared at Kaiba, "Especially after I came in. The way he stared at you made me incredibly uncomfortable, and I didn't like how you were alone."

"Well I technically wasn't..." You smirked, "I mean, Yugi was there."

"I know I know." Atem shrugged his shoulders, "But it was still a bit unsettling."

"Kaiba entered Dartz mode." You said and watched him shudder.

"Not him.."

"Atem. Look at this." You gestured to the screen behind you, "The dude went berserk."

"I'm well aware of his brief obsession. He even reassembled the puzzle." Atem nodded, "I just hope after he duels me back home, he can finally move on and continue with his company."

"Well, he accepted the terms and conditions." You reminded him, "He has to move on nonetheless."

"Hmmmm...I hope so." He gently rested his cheek on your cheek and narrowed his eyes at Kaiba. You took this moment to stare at his outfit, it has been a very long time since you saw him in the black leather shirt, pants that were coated with a dark purple jacket.

"...Like what you see?" Atem asked.

"Always." You automatically replied, "It's just this time hit different."

"How so?"

"I actually forgot how good you look in leather." You noted, "Makes me miss the look."

"And I miss the look of you in my bed." Atem hummed with a slow raise to the eyebrow, "Now let's hurry and go home. I want to finish what I started."

"My my, rather impatient!" You dramatically gasped as you walked down the stairs towards Atem and Kaiba, "That doesn't sound like you, oh Great Pharaoh!"

"You're such a tease." Atem rolled his eyes, "So? Where to?"

"Kaiba's bedroom." You answered, "at least-"

"(y/n)!" Atem gasped, "In Kaiba's bed?! I didn't know you'd be such a savage." He growled with a smirk on his face.

".....at least it'd look like he's sleeping." You continued with a deadpan face and watched him laugh.

"I know I know." He put his hands on his hips, "Wanted to see your face."

"Was it worth it?" You asked.

"Definitely." He nodded, "To Kaiba's room it is."

And with a snap of his fingers, he transported you, Kaiba, and himself to his room. Already positioning him as though he was asleep, you picked up a blanket and tossed it gently onto him.

"Do you think he's raising hell in the afterlife cause you're not there?" You asked.

"Probably." Atem nodded and wrapped his arms around your waist from behind and pressed his chest to your back, "I feel bad for the Council and for Nymphi."

"For Nymphi?" You looked at him, "Why Nymphi?"

"Because," Atem smirked at you and slowly descended his hands from your stomach to your groin, "Now she has to wait longer to get her sibling~"

You knew the sibling was an excuse.
