AMELIA'S POV:

"We are the Italian mafia"

What the actual hell.

How the hell did I not see the signs before. They have an absurd amount of security, they have the 3rd floor and the basement locked up tight, and the guns!

"Okay, I want to join" I say looking Mateo straight in the eyes

"What NO!" All the boys yell.

"Why the hell not" I say

"Because it's dangerous " Luca says

When Luca says that I think back to all the years with Mark and Marie. After all of that... I don't think anything can be more dangerous than me being alone with those two.

"I'll be fine, at least let me show you what I can do or something" I say

"No" Mateo says

"I'm not taking no for an answer " I say as I walk up the stairs to go back to my room.

I then hear a laugh follow by what sounded like a slap.

Trigger warning: Sa? That night

"Bitch get the hell up" He yells

Wait how did I end up back here

No no no I can't be here

"Get up SLUT" he says while grabbing my hair harshly

"LET ME GO" I yell

"No, I'm going to do whatever the hell I please now shut the hell UP." He yells while pulling up my shirt

"Stop, please stop" is all I can manage to say

.....

"Amelia open the door! What the hell is going on in there?" Is what I heard right after I woke up from hearing banging on my door

Fuck. I think I screamed again

"Okay hold the fuck up" I yell

"Why the hell was your door locked?" Mateo asks'

"I like my privacy" I say while shrugging

"And why we're you screaming?" He asked

"I have no idea what your talking about" I say while going to my library knowing I won't be able to go back to sleep for the night.

"Amelia the whole house heard you fucking screaming " he says sounding irritated

"Well not my fault you guys are fucking mob bosses so you sleep with one eye open every night" I say while going up my stairs with Mateo following me

"What the hell are you doing? You have school in the morning" Mateo says when he sees me putting in a record and picking up a book

"Well you decided to wake me up and I won't be able to go back to sleep, but don't worry I'll be ready for school" I say while putting my glasses on and sitting on my chair.

"Whatever" Mateo murmurs "I'm going back to bed, and don't lock your door" he says while going down the stairs

"Good luck with that!" I yell

• • • • The next morning

After finishing a few chapters of my book last night, I did end up taking a short nap.

I woke up at 6:30 this morning and decided to try to eat something for breakfast.

Once I got to the kitchen Mateo was there on his iPad reading god knows what and drinking coffee.

"Has anyone ever told you, that you look like a dad?" I say while getting out the ingredients to make oatmeal

"Luca says it sometimes but he's... anyways are you making oatmeal? Well there should be a lot in there considering no one here eat it but me" he says before sipping his coffee.

"Whatever" I say

As I ate my oatmeal and a banana, I thought about how school is gonna go today. Hopefully I can get by for the next 3 years without having to talk to anyone, even though that's not likely to happen.

"By the way, I set up your phone, watch, laptop and iPad last night they're all in my office" Mateo says while standing up

" I thought I just got a new phone and laptop?" I say while taking another bite of my oatmeal

"Well you did but I decided to throw in a few other things" Mateo says while putting his coffee mug in the sink

"Erm.. thanks?" I say

"Of course sorellina" he says with a smile

After about 15 minutes I finished eating my breakfast and decided to get ready for school.

It was only 7 and we didn't even have to be there until 8:30 but I decided I wanted to take my time and look somewhat decent.

I went into my room and decided to pack my backpack first.

I just put my laptop, notebooks, folders, gum, chapstick, and my wallet that just has $20 bucks in it but you never know.

After that I decided to start getting ready. Since my new school has a uniform, I just put that on which was a skirt, stockings, white blouse, blue blazer and a tie. After I got dressed I curled my hair lightly, put on a bit of mascara and put my glasses on. I usually never wear them but I decided to start fresh and wear them.



Outfit

After I finished getting dressed I looked at the time and saw it was 8:00 and decided to head downstairs.

"What the hell do you have on?" Gio says while I come down the stairs

"Uhm my uniform?" I say sorta confused

"Where the hell is your shirt?" Luca says

"Covering my tits" I say while pointing to my shirt

"Well they aren't doing a good job, I can see your nipples" says Gio

"First of all stop looking you creep, second of all you can thank Marie for 'blessing' me with big boobs" I say sarcastically while rolling my eyes

"Anyways relax bozos, there's a blazer in my book bag, Dante already told me I have to wear it" I say while opening the door and leaving.

Once I'm in the car I decide to take the time to set up a few social media accounts.

I had started thinking about Instagram usernames when I heard a knock on my window.

"I always ride shotgun, you have to get in the back with Luca and Alex." Gio says obviously very irrated

"Should've been quicker" I say while rolling the window up and flicking him off.

Once all the boys were in the back Dante started driving off to the school.

"Once we get to the school I'll take you to the main office since my first period is free. You should've already picked your electives yesterday with Mateo so it should be fairly quick." Dante says as we enter the schools parking lot.

"Okay" I say while getting my book bag and stepping out of the car.

Once we all got out we started walking into the school. Everyone was staring

Shit please don't tell me these losers are popular.

"Don't talk to any guys" Gio grumbles before he walks off

To that I just flick him off and keep walking

Once me and Dante make it to the main office he tells the lady my name and she rushes to give me my schedule.

"Jesus Christ? Aren't you a sophomore ?" Dante asked sounding shocked

"Didn't Mateo tell you? I skipped a grade." I say sounding confused. Why didn't Mateo tell them?

"Well, you have at least one class with all of us." He says while walking me to my first class.

"How hard did you have to study to skip a grade?" He says

"Well all I would do on my free time is read, study and play basketball. Since I didn't have friends I had a lot of free time" I say

"Wait really, you didn't have any friends?" He says looking shocked

" I had one, but he... anyways yeah school basketball and books were the things that kept me going most of the time" I say as we get closer to my first class

I notice as we walk around the school people keep looking at Dante and I... weirdos

"Well our school arranges lunch periods by the last name, so you'll have lunch with us. Have a good day sorellina " Dante says while giving me a kiss on my forehead and walking away

Well here goes nothing.

Sorry, it took so long for me to update. For some odd reason a lot of you thought I was dead or just was going through something traumatic...

Anyways I just finished school about two weeks ago so I'll be updating a lot more.

alsooo the artist for one of my art scenes finally decided to dm me back so yay.

That art scene probably won't appear for another 7 chapters or so.
