Neveah Aurora North:

'Neveah! You better be in the shower or else-' I shut off my phone and try to act as if I'm sleeping just before the door bursts open. Brandon sighs deeply and jumps on the bed.

'I know you're not sleeping bitch!' He screams directly at my face. I start laughing and push him off of me, so I can sit up straight. 'You better fucking shower right now! I have two hours!'

'Two hours is enough!' I groan as he pulls me out of bed. 'No, it's not!'

I want to argue with him, I really do. But Tiago is standing at the door and stares at us strangely.

'Are you two okay?' 'Please tell Brandon that he needs to stop stressing out about the time.' Brandon huffs and lets go of me, making me fall straight to the fucking ground.

I stare at him and keep laying on the ground because fuck him.

'Neveah, I swear to fucking god!' 'Get up and shower, we have to leave in two hours.' Tiago chimes as he walks up to me, stopping directly above me as he looks down.

I shake my head and close my eyes as if I'm trying to fall back to sleep in the middle of the room.

'When I get back, you're going to be showered.' I hear footsteps leave the room and slightly open my eyes. Tiago is kneeling next to me and smirks. 'You're very childish, aren't you?'

'As if you didn't know that yet.' I mumble before closing my eyes. He sighs and moves a little, but doesn't walk away. 'You know you should-''Just let me go back to sleep.'

He chuckles softly and gently places his hand on mine. 'Get up Neveah.'

I pinch my eyelids together at the sound of his voice and shake my head. 'I'm fine on the ground, trust me.'

For a moment, just a moment, nothing happens. But then Tiago wraps his arms around me and he lifts me up in the air, carrying me to the bathroom.

'Tiago, I really don't want to!' He puts me on the sink and looks at me as if I'm something he needs to hunt, like prey. 'I don't care. Shower or else Brandon will kill us both.'

I shake my head and push him away from me. He's too close for comfort. 'Neveah...'

'Stop doing that.' He raises an eyebrow at me and smirks. 'Stop doing what?'

'You know exactly what I'm talking about.' I huff, before jumping off of the sink.

I walk over to the shower and turn it on, setting it to the right temperature. 'Do you want me to join you?' Tiago asks shamelessly. I turn around and look at him.

At first, I thought he was joking, but now. Now that I see him. I just know that he's not. He's serious. It's a serious question.

'Wha-' He steps forwards, pressing me against the glass wall of the shower. 'You heard me.' He whispers so softly that I think I imagined it. But his lips are certainly moving.

'Do you,' His hand travels to my waist as he pulls on the fabric of my shorts. I put them on when Cataleya was showering and regret it. If I wasn't wearing them right now, we would be a little closer to... Whatever it is we're going to do. 'Want me to join you, Neveah?' He asks again.

His voice is driving me absolutely insane.

'Maybe.' I whisper, trying to keep my eyes on his, instead of his lips. He smirks and leans in, pressing himself against me, and slowly moves his hand in between my legs. I gasp for air when I feel his lips gently press against my shoulder and grasp onto his shirt.

'Try to not make a sound, okay?' I nod and lean into him, hoping that it will make him continue.

Never, in my entire life, have I been this desperate for someone to touch me. I've done this with a bunch of boys, men even, but nobody compared to him. I didn't notice until now.

Which scares the fuck out of me.

I got away from all of this, because of this. Because of the pleasure, the obsession I had over him. I feel like he's the only one that can make me feel this good. Simply by his touch.

His hand slowly travels past the layers of fabric and against my clit. Fuck... 'You were waiting for this, weren't you?'

I hide the blush on my cheeks and bury myself deeper into his chest. 'I can feel-' His fingers slide inside me, making me moan just a little. I try muffling the sounds by pressing my lips against his shirt. 'So fucking wet.'

'Stop-' I groan as I try to keep my breathing steady.

If he steps away right now, I'll fall. If he lets go right now, I'll fall and hit the ground. Hard.

But I know he won't. He won't let me fall. He won't let me go. Because he's enjoying this just as much as I am.

'You want me to stop?' He smirks as he pulls his hand away, making me groan out of frustration. 'No- I just- Keep going you asshole!'

He chuckles before entering me again. I grind my hips against his hand and try to stay quiet, but it's impossible. It just feels too good. 'Look at you... Desperate for release.' He grins against my neck.

I lean against the glass surface behind me as he presses his lips against my neck, leaving a trail of fire along my collarbones. 'Fuck- Shut up and-' His other hand wraps around my neck and I immediately stop talking.

'I just want to-' Fucking hell. His fingers feel magical as he keeps going deeper and deeper. The only problem is, he's going too slow. This pace is absolutely killing me.

'You'll get it, trust me.' He groans, turning back to my neck once more.

Even though this is exactly what I shouldn't be doing, I don't want it to stop. I want this to continue for the rest of my life. 'Tiago please-' He thrusts his fingers in me harshly, making me grasp onto him a little tighter. Fuck...

'Just wait.' He grumbles, losing all signs of self-restraint himself. I take a deep breath, or at least try to, and lean back against the cold wall. It's soothing, but not enough. I need to cum...

I slowly let my hand reach down towards the edge of his trousers and try sliding my hand in, but he stops me and groans. 'No.'

'But-' I'm unable to speak when he goes deep again, making me moan out again. 'Didn't I tell you to keep it quiet?' He asks, forcing me to look at him.

I nod and press my face against his chest again. 'I'm- close.' He nods and moves my hair out of my face, before looking me in the eyes.

The fucking eyecontact. He's doing it on purpose.

Just as I'm about to reach my climax, he pulls back. 'What the fuck are you-' He presses his soaked hand against my mouth and stares at the door. 'You better be fucking showering!' Brandon shouts.

I didn't even hear him enter the bedroom, or knock on the door for that matter, but Tiago did. And thank god he did.

'You heard him. Go shower. I'll be waiting.' Tiago chimes, before heading to the door. Leaving me like a total mess. What the fuck!?

I'm angry at him. He said that I would reach my high, that he would make me come. But he didn't. Instead, he left me hopeless and filled with desire.

Maybe Celine was right about "The needed release from time to time". I need it too. Oh god...

I'm angry at him, but I'm happy he stopped. It pulled me back to reality again. He still won't let us go. He still didn't tell me the truth about Steel.

Now that I think about it, I still don't know shit. Rio didn't tell me anything else, besides that it was him. Steel is the one that ordered those people to kill my family. When I get my hands on him, I'm going to fucking-

'Neveah!' Brandon shouts before stomping on the door. I sigh and quickly hop in the shower, scrubbing my entire body, before jumping out. 'You better be ready in three seconds, or I swear to god I'll burst through the fucking door-'

I open the door and step into the room, smiling at the very annoyed Brandon.

'I swear to god Neveah I-' 'I'm sorry! Let's just get to it.' I sigh, walking over to the drawer with underwear. I quickly grab a dark blue, lace, set and put it on.

'Fine! I was going to make you wear that anyways!' He grunts, before pressing me in a chair in front of a little dressing table. 'Do you even know what you want to do?'

He sighs and looks at me for a second as if it's crazy that I'm even asking. 'Get up and close your eyes.'

I notice how he's wearing a dark brown suit, which fits him perfectly. 'You look good.' 'Thank you, now close your eyes.'

'How the fuck-' 'Just do it!' I jump up and smile because of his annoyance. I know he loves me, even though I'm an absolute pain in the ass right now.

'Okay fine!' I close my eyes and wait for him to give me directions. 'I'm sorry for being such a bitch.' I whisper as I wait for him to start. He moves around the room, lifting things and putting them in different places. 'It's fine. I'm just stressed.'

'You shouldn't be, everything is going to be just-' I stop when I feel something being wrapped around my waist. He tightens it just a little and steps away from me again. 'Can I open my eyes?' 'Why are you and Leya both so impatient!?'

I smile and keep my eyes closed. The last thing I need is for him to get even more annoyed than he already is.

'I guess we learned that from each other.' I joke and he chuckles before pulling something over my head. It feels soft and flowy, making me want to open my eyes so bad.

'One second.' Something else, which is definitely a corset, is wrapped around my waist and tightened just a little. 'Okay, open your eyes.'

I open my eyes and stare in awe, this dress is absolutely astounding. An azure blue, long, puffy, sleeve dress with a long split in the middle. The body stops just above my waist and looks absolutely gorgeous. It's not too tight, yet it shows every curve I have.

'You have to be kidding me! I am a fucking princess!' I exclaim before rushing to the mirror. The dress is not what I expected. It's way better.

'You are absolutely amazing! How the fuck did you make this!?' I ask before jumping into his arms and hugging him tightly. Brandon is gifted. He could make millions of dollars for making stuff like this.

'Do you really like it? It's not what Leon wanted you to wear though...' He mumbles, slightly ashamed that he didn't do as he was told. 'Fuck what Tiago said, this is amazing!'

I turn towards the mirror again and smile. I want to be buried in this dress!

'Okay! For hair and make-up, I was thinking-' I barely pick up a thing of what he's saying. I'm too busy looking at the gorgeous dress.

He starts with my hair and decides to put all of it in a messy bun, with a few strands jumping out. It's cute, which matches the dress perfectly. And for my make-up, he puts on some light gold eyeshadow and dark red lips, making me feel like a princess a bit more. No. I feel like a fucking queen.

'Put these on.' He hands me golden heels and some jewelry, everything perfectly matching together. 'Heels, really?' 'Just put them on!' He snaps before looking at himself in the mirror. I do as he demands.

I get up and try to not break my ankles as I walk over to him. The jewelry and heels complete the picture just a bit more. Fuck yeah!

'You're all done!' He chimes, before turning me around. I stare at myself again and can't stop smiling. I can't believe that it's me. I'm the gorgeous woman in the mirror. 'I'm going to fucking cry.' 'Girl don't ruin your make-up!'

We both burst into laughter and stare into the mirror. 'Do you think we have time for pictures?'

'Girl we always have time for' Just as he's about to finish, Marco bursts through the door. He's also wearing a brown suit, just a little lighter, and looks absolutely stunning as well. His hair is slicked back with hair gel and he looks like one of those rich boys.

'Could you two hurry up? We've been waiting for over thirty minutes!' He complains, before dragging his brother through the door. I roll my eyes, quickly grab the little purse on the bed and throw everything in it, my phone, some lip gloss, and a pack of gum, just in case.

I rush after them, trying to run a little, but it's impossible so I give up and decide to walk. The three men stare at me as I walk up to them.

Holy fuck... Tiago is wearing a dark blue, almost black, suit and looks the hottest he's ever been. I can barely keep my eyes off of him as I walk towards Brandon.

'Ready to go?' I ask since none of them say anything. 'Let's go.' Brandon chimes, before walking after me.

Marco nods and opens the door for me, he seems unable to form a sentence, making me blush like crazy. I don't like Marco, but that does not mean I don't like the effect I have on him right now. Their eyes make me feel like I control everything. Including Tiago.

He looks at me as if he wants to rip the dress off my body, not giving a single shit about everyone around. I will kill him if he does. This dress is way too precious and I won't let him ruin it.

I clear my throat dramatically and wait for them to follow me outside. Brandon rolls his eyes and hooks his arm around mine, pulling me towards the elevator.

When we turn around, to face Tiago and Marco, we see them staring at each other in awe. 'If this elevator leaves without you, we'll be going to the party without you.'

Marco has to pull Tiago after him as they both rush to the elevator, making it just in time. 'So Brandon and I are going with the Range and you two are going with the Porsche.' I nod as if I know what the fuck he's talking about.

The elevator doors open and we all walk out. The echoing sound of my heels is the only thing I hear, besides my heart beating like crazy. Tiago looks good... Too good...

'We'll see you there.' Brandon chimes, before jumping in a black range rover. They drive off almost immediately.

I follow Tiago to another car, the dark gray Porsche, and wait for him to open it, but he doesn't. He simply stares at me and takes a deep breath.

'We should go...' I breathe, wanting him to stare at me a little longer. Because every time he does, I get less insecure about myself. I feel like an absolute queen in this dress, but because of Tiago's admiration, I feel like an absolute empress.

'Tiago?' He shakes his head and presses the button on the car keys, making the lights flicker and the door unlock so we can get in. I get in the car gently because of the dress. I don't want to ruin it before we even got to the event. Or ever for that matter.

'You look-' 'I know.' I joke, smiling at him like crazy. His lips curl up into a smirk and he starts the engine, letting it roar before he races out of the garage.

'How far away is it?' I ask as I look outside of my window, enjoying the sunset as we drive through the city. 'We have to go to LA, so it's going to be a long drive.'

I nod and stare at him for a second. He's wearing a golden watch on his left wrist and a matching ring on his index finger.

His eyes move to my bare leg that seems to peek out of the dress every time I move, making me blush like a little kid. 'Eyes on the road Tiago.'

'I can't. You look too good.' He groans, gripping the wheel a little tighter. I smile and look outside again, almost unable to contain my happiness right now.

'Do I know Marcello?' Tiago looks at me for a second and shrugs. 'You might've met him, but I don't think you did.' Well... Great!

'Can I ask you something?' I ask as I turn back to him. He nods and looks at me as he stops for a red light. 'Anything.' Oh... Well, that's not-

'Why are Marco and Brandon coming, but not Celine?' The light turns green and he continues driving, before thinking about his answer. 'Well, Brandon is coming because he loves to party and it's kind of his payment for the dresses.'

I nod and smile at his answer. Of course, Brandon would make the dresses if that meant he would be able to go out and have fun. This way he could also dress up himself and maybe find someone to spend the night with.

'And Marco because...' Tiago seems hesitant about his answer, making me feel a little weirded out, 'Well, Marco needs to go and talk to Astoria.' Astoria?

'You talk about her as if I'm supposed to know who she is.' He chuckles and smiles at me, before continuing to drive onto the highway. 'She's Marcello's grandaughter.'

'So?' I ask, still not understanding why Marco has to talk to her. 'He needs to... seduce her in some way, so we can handle stuff with the Yakuza's and the Bratva's.' 'The who?'

He laughs at my confusion and starts racing through the cars as if we have to hurry to get to the party.

'Other mafia's. We need her to like us so she can help us.' He explains, as simple as possible. I know it's more detailed than that, but he won't go into details right now.

'Why do you always involve women in this?' He raises an eyebrow and waits for me to elaborate, which I do, 'Last time I heard about closing a deal, you needed to sleep with a woman.' My heart hurts a little, but I push the pain away and continue. 'And now Marco has to sleep with Marcello's grandaughter?'

'I never said anything about them fucking, did I?' I stare at him, completely blown away by his cockiness. 'But that's what you meant, didn't you?'

He doesn't know how to respond and sighs deeply. 'Look-' 'You use women just to get what you want.'

'It's not like we force them to give us what we want.' My mouth drops just a little, I can't believe Tiago is saying this. I would've expected it from Rio, but not from him.

'You're absolutely disgusting.' I bellow before turning to the window again. This isn't the right time to have this conversation, but I can't let it slide. I have to stay around him the whole night, the last thing we need to do is fight.

'I didn't mean it like that. I-' 'I see the way you see women now, it's fine.' He rolls his eyes and turns to me, not giving a fuck about the fact that he's driving a car at eighty-five miles per hour. 'That's not how I see women and you know it.'

'Keep your eyes on the road, I don't want to die yet!' I sneer before folding my arms in front of my chest as he slowly turns his gaze back on the road ahead. Idiot!

'And do I really? I mean, you did it yourself.' He sighs but continues driving without saying another word. The rest of the drive goes by in almost complete silence since he doesn't know what to say and I said what I wanted to.

After almost two hours, he drives off of the highway and onto a road that doesn't even look like a road. He drives up to a gigantic citadel, with white flowers everywhere. It's fall... How the-

'Welcome to villa di fiori.' Tiago sighs, before jumping out of the car. I open the door and get out, staring at the beautiful view.

There are cars parked everywhere and people are heading towards the beautiful entrance, walking over the red carpet as paparazzi take pictures of them. 'Ready to-' Tiago turns me around and pulls me back to the car.

'Listen. I didn't mean what I said. We just need to get shit done and it's the only way.' No, it's not... I stare into his eyes and fight the urge to tell him otherwise, but I don't want to ruin the mood even more.

'Fine.' He nods and smiles at me for a second, before staring me up and down one more time. 'Took you long enough!' It's Brandon.

Thank god! I want to run over to him, but Tiago pulls me back and shakes his head. 'You're coming with me.' He smirks as he gently puts his hand on my lower back, leading me towards the red carpet leading to the door.

Brandon and Marco walk after us and smile for a couple of pictures. The flashes are absolutely blinding, but I smile anyway, not wanting to ruin the moment. It feels weird to stand in front of the cameras.

Especially if you think about it, everyone that will be attending the party has something to do with the mafia. They are all criminals, yet they get away with it.

Tiago nudges me forward, we've taken enough pictures to sell the story, and we walk inside. The biggest chandelier is hanging from the roof, making everything shimmer thanks to the light. Everyone in the room is wearing formal clothes, dresses made out of the finest silk, and suits made of the best cotton to ever exist. It just screams money.

'Where are Leya and Rio?' I ask, wanting to see my best friend. I need her to survive this night.

I feel like I'm in a dream. This all feels so surreal, but when Tiago grabs my hand, everything comes crashing down. This is real...

'They're probably in the ballroom.' 'Ballroom?' I ask confused. I thought that this was it.

This room is bigger than a football stadium, but there is another room?

'Yes, come on. I want you to meet some people.' I want to object, I want to stay with Brandon and Marco, but they're nowhere to be found.

'Tiago I don't-' 'I'll be with you.' He whispers against my neck, the heat of it sending shivers down my spine. 'Fine.' I huff as I follow him through the crowd.

I look down, trying to avoid eye contact at all costs. These people are dangerous. I would normally walk away from stuff like this, but now I can't. I can't run away from this.

'Champagne?' I stare up and notice a lady with a tray of champagne. Tiago nods at her and grabs two glasses, handing me one as the lady continues to move around the room. 'Leonardo?'

I take a sip as I turn towards the voice. A tall man, a little older than Tiago, with dark hair and very dark skin, smiles at Tiago and opens his arms. The two hug each other the way old friends would and slowly turn to me.

'This is-' 'Let me guess, Neveah North!' The man exclaims, patting Tiago on the back. I raise an eyebrow at him and slowly lift my glass to my lips. Did he talk about me?

'Yes.' Tiago nods proudly, making me blush again. The dark man waits for Tiago to introduce him, but Tiago is too busy gawking at me to do so. 'I'm Vincent Black, it's a pleasure to meet you.' He smirks, before kissing the bridge of my hand.

I nod and turn back to Tiago, who obviously doesn't like the fact that his friend just kissed my hand.

'Have we met before?' I ask, curious to how he knew who I was. 'No, but I know exactly who you are.' So Tiago talked about me...

'How so?' I ask, wanting to push Tiago's buttons all the way. 'Well, this guy over here,' Vincent throws his arm around Tiago's shoulder and smirks at me, 'kept talking about you. And I noticed the way his eyes are pierced to you, so I put the pieces together and bam!'

People stare at us for a second, but Vincent doesn't care. God, he's amazing!

'Are you drunk already, Vince?' The man shrugs and smiles at me before turning to his old friend. Tiago, who finally looks at Vincent, looks him in the eyes and sighs deeply. 'The party hasn't even started yet.'

'Oh trust me, it started when Daphne and her crew came.' Tiago shifts at the name of the mystery girl. Daphne...

'She's here?' Vincent nods and grabs another glass of champagne from a tray that goes around the room. 'Yes, and she wants to talk to you.' 'Shit.' Tiago mutters before turning to me.

'Is it okay if I go fix that real quick?' He asks softly. I glance around the room and take a deep breath. There is no way I'm going to survive this on my own, but he seems pretty desperate to talk to her right now, which must mean it's urgent.

'Fine. Just hurry up and come right back to me.' He nods and smiles at me, before running off with Vincent, leaving me alone in the big crowd.

I follow his frame across the room, noticing all the attractive women staring at him, and watch as he walks up to a beautiful blond girl with the prettiest dress ever. She's wearing a rosé colored dress that fits tightly around her body, showing the most beautiful curves ever. Oh god...

Of course, he has to talk to one of the most gorgeous women in the fucking room.

They talk for a second, before she wraps her arms around his chest, making me roll my eyes. What the fuck am I doing? I turn around and bump into something hard.

My heart starts racing like crazy. The last thing I need right now is to anger someone, especially someone at this fucking party. Everyone here is a criminal!

'I am so sorry! I-' 'What are you doing here kitty?' I look up and gasp for air.

Never in a million years did I think I would find him here.

'Drew?' His face didn't change at all. He's still tall, dark, and angry like always. My heart starts racing even more and I want to run out of this place, right now. 'Answer the question kitty.'

'Don't call me kitty, you-' He grabs my wrist firmly, pinching it enough to make it hurt like hell. 'Remember your place. Kitty.'

'What do you want from me?' I whisper, trying to move away from him. But it's no use. He keeps me close to him, giving me no other option but to give in. 'I asked you a question, didn't I?'

'I'm here with some friends.' I lie, hoping that he'll believe it. Which obviously, he doesn't. 'Last time I checked, kitty, none of your friends had something to do with the mafia?'

Wait, so he's also criminal-related? 'So tell me, what's the real reason you're here?'

'It's none of your business.' His jaw twitches as he stares me in the eyes. This is clearly pissing him off, but I don't care. He can't hit me in the middle of all these people. Someone will do something about it. If not. I will.

'You keep testing your limits, kitty. It's not going to help you, you know that right?' I stare into his dark eyes and try to find a reason.

Why the fuck did I like him again? I remember him and I'll always remember him. He's the first boyfriend I had after I left Tiago.

Drew Kane is the most toxic person I've ever met. He's abusive and possessive as hell. Worse than any other boy I've ever dated. 'Keep your eyes sharp kitty, you'll need it.' He groans before leaning towards me just a little more.

'You baby losing bitch.' What the fuck is wrong with him?

I step back, but he pulls me back, against his chest. Shit... No one around us seems to care. And I don't want to cause a scene. Rio will kill me if I do. 'Stop' 'Or what?'

If someone deserves to die tonight, it's him. Him and the people that killed my family. The Steels.

'Neveah! Here you are. Come one, we have to go.' I have never been happier to see Marco in my entire life. He grabs my arm and pulls me away from Drew, who is certainly not so eager to keep me with him anymore.

'Are you okay?' Marco whispers as he continues leading me to a less secluded hall. I take a deep breath and nod. Can't ruin the make-up... I lean against a wall and try to catch my breath. That was terrifying and Marco saved me.

'Thank you.' I whisper as I try to process what just happened. Drew is here. My ex is here. I didn't even know he was into criminal shit, but then again, I haven't seen him in five years. And it doesn't shock me that much, he's always been sketchy.

'Are you sure you're okay?' I shrug and try to take another breath, but it doesn't work. It feels like my lungs won't allow any fresh air, making me choke a little. 'Shit-'

'Neveah?' I turn around and stare into the bewitching hazel eyes, gasping for air as my lungs finally open up. You have to be fucking kidding me!

'What happened?' He asks Marco since I'm taking a few deep breaths as I start pacing around. 'She was talking to this guy and she looked like she was about to freak out, so I pulled her away from him and now this.' Marco points at me and takes a deep breath himself.

'I'm fine, I just needed a moment.' I state, looking at both of them. 'Are you sure?' I nod and force a smile on my face, before walking over to Tiago and wrapping my arm around his. 'Yes, now take me to Leya.'

Marco and Tiago look at each other for a second, debating if I'm telling them the truth, but they let it go.

'I'll see you around.' Marco sighs as he walks back into the crowd. Tiago stares at me for another second before he leads me towards another room, the ballroom.

It's even bigger than the entrance and makes me gasp for air. A live orchestra is playing and people are dancing everywhere. I glance around the room and stop breathing for just a second, as I take everything in.

'We'll have to dance.' I raise an eyebrow at Tiago and smile, it's not a bad thing. 'Don't cry if I ruin your toes.'

He chuckles and waits for me to grab his hand so he can lead me towards the others. I grab his hand and feel a wave of heat rush through me. We walk into the crowd, straight towards the front of the room.

I see Leya's big dress and almost run over to her, but stop since I notice that people are staring at me. It takes me a few seconds to notice that men are staring at me. All the women around the room are staring, no, drooling, over Tiago. Great!

'Leya!' She turns her head my way and smiles. Rio is nowhere to be seen, but she's talking to a handsome young man with icy blue eyes.

'Look at your dress!' Leya exclaims before making me spin around a few times. 'You look amazing!' 'Thank you!' I smile and hug her tightly. 'Drew's here.' I whisper, before staring at her eyes. 'What?'

I nod and smile at the man next to her. 'Neveah North, I'm Hunter.' 'Nice to meet you, Hunter-' Just as I'm about to ask him how he knows who I am, I'm pulled away from him and onto the dancefloor.

I'm being twirled around by the man I'm supposed to fake-date tonight. 'Why did you do that, I wanted to talk to him.' I mumble as soon as he pulls me close. 'People were looking at you, I didn't like that.'

'As if every woman in this room isn't looking at you right now.' I huff, gently keeping him at distance. He smirks and twirls me around one more time, before pulling me in his arms once more. 'If my eyes are on you, don't worry about the eyes on me.'

'Well, that's easier said than done.' I smirk as we glide across the room. 'Are you jealous, Cara? '

'Why would I be jealous?' He shakes his head and smiles, before turning me around one more time. I accidentally step on his toe and panic a little, but it doesn't seem to bother him. He simply continues dancing as if my feet did not just stomp down on his a few seconds ago.

After a few minutes, my feet start to hurt, so I beg him to stop. He doesn't want to but decides to stop since I'll kill him if we don't.

We walk back to Leya and notice that Rio is finally standing next to her. He smiles at me and nods at his cousin, before muttering something in Italian.

I move over to Leya and look at her. 'Is Drew really here?' She asks slightly panicking. 'Yes, he talked to me and Marco saved me from whatever he had planned.'

'I'm going to fucking kill him.' 'He called me a baby losing bitch.' I breathe, trying to get it out without breaking down in the middle of all of this. 'He did what!?'

Leya's loud voice catches people's attention, making me flinch just a little. 'Keep your voice down, please...'

'What's going on little one?' Leya is fuming. She's absolutely furious. 'Neveah's ex called her a baby losing bitch!' She grunts, looking around the room. She's probably looking for Drew.

'Leya-' She turns back to me and her hands fly to her mouth immediately. Tiago didn't know...

'Baby losing? Why-' None of us say a thing. None of us except Rio. Even Rafael is shocked by the truth that is slowly unraveling. 'What?'

I don't dare turn around. I can't face him right now. How the fuck am I supposed to tell him I lost a baby?

I wanted to keep it all in the past, to keep it in the worst version of me. Just like all of this. I don't want any of this. None of it. Not even Tiago.

'Excuse me.' I brush past Cataleya as she reaches out for me. I simply nudge her away and run back into the other hall, the now, almost empty one.

'Neveah stop!' I do as Tiago commands and feel a tear escape from my eyes. 'You lied to Celine, didn't you?'

He steps closer, in front of me so that I have to look at him. I keep my eyes on the ground though, unable to look into his eyes as he finds out the truth.

There is no use in lying. He'll find out at some point.

I slowly nod, afraid of his reaction.

'The only reason you would lie is if-' His breathing falters as he puts the pieces together. 'Was it mine?'

I stay still, not knowing what to say. It never hurt this much. I just accepted it. We were too young and we weren't going to end up together anyway. It didn't bother me that much, until now.

'Look at me.' He commands, but I can't. He knows I can't, yet he lifts my chin, forcing me to look at him. 'Was it mine?'

'Tiago, please... Can we just-' I step away from him, looking back at the ground again. 'Not right now.'

'Fine.' I look up in shock that he's willing to let this go. For now.

'But we'll talk about this as soon as we get home.' I nod and smile at him, hoping it will defuse the tension a little. 'Come on. Let's go back inside.'

I walk after him, back into the entrance hall. It's still crowded and I wonder if there will be more people later tonight.

'Suprise bitches!' Someone shouts from the door that burst open wide. Everyone stares at the crazy-looking man who's shouting. What the hell is going on? 'Too bad I was not invited!'

'Nicolay! My friend!' Vincent, Tiago's friend I met earlier, steps towards the man and hugs him tightly.

It seems wholesome, the way they embrace each other for just a few seconds, but turns dark real quick. A single gunshot and Vince drops to the ground.

Everyone panics as a few other men come through the big doors. They're all wearing black masks and are all carrying heavy guns. Fuck.

'Shit.' Tiago mutters before pulling me after him.

The sound of gunshots enters the room, making everyone panic and run towards the exit. I look at Tiago with wide eyes and try to get back inside, where Rio and Cataleya are.

'Get down!' Tiago pulls me behind a turned table and keeps me close to him.

'We have to find Cataleya!' He rolls his eyes and pulls his gun out of the holster attached to his waistband. 'She's with Rio.' 'Exactly!' I try getting up, but he pulls me back down.

'Stay. Down!' He looks over the edge and starts shooting at people. I watch as he hits almost every shot. 'Give me one!' He ignores me and continues shooting.

I glance around, noticing that other people are shooting as well. Marco, who is hiding behind a huge pillar, shoots a few men and almost gets shot himself. Fuck...

The shooting continues as more masked men sneak in. They all rush to the doors leading to the ballroom since that's where the other guests are. What the fuck are they here for?

When there is no more threat, since they killed all of them or they simply went towards the other room, I get up and run towards the door.

Another gunshot and I feel an excruciating wave of pain shoot through me.

My hands shoot to my stomach and I feel something sticky. Blood pools into my hands, slowly dripping down my body.

I look at the wound, my dark blue dress now has a dark stain on it, and back at him. Panic fills his eyes. I collapse and can't keep in the tears anymore.

It fucking hurts like hell.

'Tiago?' I choke out as the pain only grows. He wraps his arms around me, making sure I don't fall to the ground all at once.

'Fuck, Neveah!' The way he says my name scares me. It doesn't sound happy or good at all. 'Stay with me- fuck! Stay with me baby, please?!'

His hands press on the wound, making me scream out in pain.

My eyes feel heavy and I'm afraid I won't be able to stay with him any longer.

'It hurts..' I squirm as he looks directly at me, holding me tightly against his chest. His white button-up was now stained with my blood.

My eyes give up, I can't keep them open anymore.

'Rio! Where the fuck is he?!' Water hits my face. Tears. Salty tears.

'Stay with me Neveah! You're not dying on me now!' He shakes my body, forcing me to wake up because of the pain rushing through my body.

I wince and look at the man whose holding me. 'I'm sorry I left.' I admit, hoping that he'll accept my apology.

'Stop it, you're not dying.' He says firmly, his voice breaks a little midsentence. Deep down, he knows that I am.

'I am so sorry Tiago..' He shakes his head and holds me even tighter, making the pain so much worse. 'Don't. Say. It'

'Rio where the fuck are you!?' I look around the, now, empty room. Everyone ran, except for us and all the people who got shot.

'Marco go get the car, we need to go to Celine. NOW!' Marco follows Tiago's demand and runs towards the exit.

'Tiago please..' I mumble, almost losing consciousness again.

'I know baby, I know.' He lifts me up, his hard chest rubbing against the wound, making it hurt even more. 'You're going to be okay.'

'Neveah! What-' Brandon rushes towards me and I notice the fear in his eyes. 'Go get Rio, tell him we're leaving.' Tiago interrupts him as he carries me to the door. Brandon runs to the other side of the room and I feel myself slipping away again.

'You're losing too much blood.' Tiago panics, making my tears flow down my cheeks. 'I can't-'

'Tell Celine to come to San Clemente!'

Tiago carries me to the car, but before we get there I hear another gunshot flying through the air. And then. Everything goes black.
