Again, take a good look at the media up here, you'll need it at the end ;)
Third person
Isabella had arrived in Italy about an hour ago and they were driving to their new home as they speak. Isabella was exhausted yet couldn't sleep.
There was so much stuff she had to do, decorate her room, deal with the business, train, eat.
Certainly eat. It was her first priority ever.
She also planned to make some changes to the business, she didn't want to make money because she got the business handed over. She wanted to make money of her own ideas. The business was just already there.
Apollo was being impatient as he jumped constantly on Isabella's lap and Isabella being irritated. She loved the dog with all her heart but right now he needed to stop trying to make holes in her legs.
"How long is it until we arrive?" She asked Lorenzo who was driving.
"We're here." He said and Isabella looked outside.
Well damn.
All the siblings started to run out of the car, trying to find the biggest room so they could claim it. It was pure chaos and the adults laughed at their children being... well children. The rule was the one who gets their stuff first in a room claims it. So right now they were all looking for the biggest room, just to run like a crazy person to get their stuff and run back to the room.
"Aren't you going to look for a room?" Lorenzo asked as he got out
"Oh I am, but unlike them I have a plan." Isabella said. "Go boy!" she said to Apollo and he ran off, looking for the perfect room.
The one closest by the kitchen.
Three seconds later he ran back inside and Isabella grabbed her things.
"Well gentlemen, it was pleasure doing business with you but I need to conquer my new kingdom." She said as she did a royal bow, while they all laughed.
"You go queen! Go get that kingdom and beat those silly princes their asses!" Grandpa said. Grandma smacked his head.
"What your grandfather means is YOU GO GIRL GO KICK SOME ASS AND GET THAT MOTHER FUCKING ROOM." She said. Isabella laughed and then followed Apollo.
Dream bedroom here I come, she thought
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All the siblings were now in three cars, on their way to buy stuff for their room. Isabella checked her room and measured it. It wasn't the biggest room but she didn't complain. She had a own bathroom and it was close by the kitchen.
She kinda did had an idea what she wanted to do with her room, she now just wanted to look around and find the perfect things for it.
Now the store they were going to was the most fun furniture store ever.
Ikea
Isabella was sitting in the car with Romolo and his four sons, looking at pintrest for ideas. She was sitting on Vito's lap, the oldest brother and Apollo sitting on her lap. After a while she found enough ideas on pintrest and closed her phone.
"Found inspiration?" Vito asked, taking hos gaze off of his own phone.
"Yeah." Isabella weakly smiled, suddenly becoming very tired. All that travelling was getting to her.
"Romolo, how long until we arrive?" Isabella asked with a sleepy voice, slowly petting Apollo.
Romolo looked to his right and awed at the sight. Isabella was struggling to keep her eyes open and without knowing she was cuddling more into Vito.
"A while, close your eyes little one. We'll wake you up when we get there." He smiled and Isabella didn't last another second before closing her eyes and snuggling into Vito. Apollo saw that Isabella was becoming sleepy and starting to drift of so he snuggled closer to her as well and closed his eyes.
Vito had a small smile on his face. His first moment with his sister.
He gently grabs the blanket they always have in cars for if one of his brothers feels sleepy. He bought even more when he got the news Isabella had returned.
He laid the fleece blanket on top of her while trying not to move too much. He made sure she was tucked all in and Apollo's face was coming out the blanket before starting to play with her hair. He knew it made her sleep better, so did Lorenzo say.
It was actually true, Isabella did sleep better when someone was playing with her hair. It had a simple explanation, Kiara used to do it before she got kidnapped. Every night she played with her daughter's hair until she was fully asleep.
"Aww look at Bella." Luca said in a baby voice as he looked at his baby sister.
"Shut up you idiot before you wake her." Sergio whispered at his little brother.
"You wake her, you face me." Vito whispered slowly, not lifting his eyes from his little sister who was peacefully asleep.
He still didn't understand how she could have been through all that and still be the fearless and powerful woman she was becoming now. To say he was proud on her was an understatement. He couldn't be more proud to call someone his little sister.
"Bruno, take a picture of them." Romolo whispered to his son. Bruno rolled his eyes but didn't manage to hide his small smile. She was finally at peace, he thought.
Bruno felt like the shittiest person. He acted like a dick in the beginning and it fucked up their relationship. Why didn't he listen to his twin saying he should treat her like a princess and not like she was trying to kill them. God he wished he listened.
He took out his phone and snapped a few picture, he looked at them and decided that he would send the second one in the family group chat.
Everyone got a notification and Luca opened it.
"AWWWW!" He said and Isabella stirred awake. She immediately reached for her gun hidden in her boots, Apollo ready to attack any danger.
"Shhh, everything is okay dear. Go back to sleep, I got you." Vito whispered. Isabella put her head back into his neck and fell asleep again. Apollo checked his surroundings one more time before licking Isabella and closing his eyes, putting his head on her shoulder. A small smile was on Isabella's face as she relaxed in his big brother's arms.
Romolo and Vito glared at Luca and Luca gulped. He was in for a long ride...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"We're here." Vito whispered and Isabella slowly opened her eyes. The she remembered they were going to Ikea and she jumped up after lifting Apollo in her arms.
"Then let's go losers!" She yelled as she started running to the entrance, placing Apollo to the ground and he running next to her. Romolo smiled at her while the others laughed at her enthusiasm. The other two cars were already waiting at the entrance and laughed as they saw Isabella and Apollo running to them.
"How was the ride koala?" Matteo asked as he laughed and hugged her.
"Great! I had the best sleep ever." she said and Vito smiled. Apollo barked happily, wagging his tail. Gabriel laughed and petted the huge dog. He couldn't believe his daughter could pick him up like it was nothing.
She did go to the gym more often and became a lot stronger.
Gabriel and Apollo had a weird hate-love bond. Apollo would pick Isabella above everything, Gabriel knew that. And that's how they bonded he guessed.
"Everyone's here?" Grandpa asked.
Everyone said yes and grandpa nodded. Grandma rolled her eyes and started to count everyone.
"We're missing someone." She said.
"Angelina, she wasn't coming today. Something came up with work." Romolo lied. Isabella looked skeptical at her uncle.
When she asked before they left he said she was feeling sick...
He looked back at her and his eyes widen a little bit, remembering what he told her. Isabella moved her eyes, telling him that she'd let it go.
For now.
"Very well, let's go then." Gabriel said. He knew something wasn't right between his brother and Angelina but he wanted Romolo to come to him himself. He didn't want to force it out of him.
"Let's go!" Grandpa said excited as he and grandma jumped up and down.
"They better have a stitch floor." Grandma whispered to her husband.
"If they don't, I'm afraid someone is about to lose their job." Grandpa said through gritted teeth.
I mean, no stitch floor, what pathetic store doesn't have that?
Almost everyone got a car to put huge boxes on.
"We might have to drop things off at the car and then re-enter." Romolo said as he laughed at his sons being excited over furniture shopping.
Grandpa stopped a staff member who was passing by.
"I'm sorry, could you help me please?"
"Of course sir!" The staff said friendly.
"Where's the stitch floor?"
"Uhm, the what?" The boy asked confused. Rodrigo was already calling some men to clear up the body that will be dead soon.
"The. Stitch. Floor." Grandpa spat.
"We uhm- we- don't have... that." He laughed nervously.
Grandpa started to laugh and immediately stopped.
"You're not joking aren't you?" He said in a cold voice.
"N-no..."
Grandpa sighed as he took the boy outside by his neck. Isabella managed to catch his name tag and told Riccardo to search him up. Riccardo passed the green to Isabella with his details.
Isabella sighed and grabbed her phone before pressing grandpa's contact name.
"What's up princess, I'm in the middle of my new member of my collection." Grandpa laughed. These men may be at their feet for Isabella, but they stayed scary and respected men.
"Don't kill him." Isabella said.
"Why not?" Grandpa asked curious. He knew Isabella wouldn't ask that from him if it wasn't serious.
"He got a daughter of three years." She said as she closed her eyes. She couldn't even think how the girl would feel to never met her father. She knew the feeling all too well.
"Don't take the little girl's dad away. It will break her." Isabella whispered out. Everyone knew she wasn't talking about the little girl anymore and it pained them to see her like this.
Gabriel had to close his eyes. Yes, they all missed a huge part of her life, but what about her? She never grown up with her family like her brothers did. She didn't had that chance. Her childhood is filled with sadness and pain and he hated every part of it.
"Okay, princess. I won't." Grandpa whispered. He didn't know he would affect his little baby like this. He was cursing himself for not checking his background information first like she did. It was their biggest rule.
You don't take young parents lives. At least give them some time to spent the childhood of their kids. Give them time to see their kids grow up and leave for college. That's the minimum age they would kill a parent.
The time they never had with Isabella. It was a rule made when they lost her. Because they could feel the pain of the other young parent, even of the young child. They just could never do it.
Grandpa released the boy and gave him money.
"Go treat you wife and daughter for me." He said.
"How do you-"
"I just do, and talk to your manager for a stitch floor." Grandpa said and walked back to his family.
The boy looked speechless at the twenty thousand dollar in his hand.
"Let's go." Isabella said as Grandpa stood next to them again.
The mood was totally gone now and Isabella felt responsible for it. Why did she had to be so sensitive?
She was in her own world, scolding at herself for ruining their fun day of furniture shopping. In the mean time everyone was whispering about how to cheer her up.
Then Bruno got the perfect idea. He ran to her, picked her up and placed her on one of the cars and started to run with it. Isabella screamed in happiness as they went faster and faster. Apollo caught up on them, and he started running next to the car.
Isabella signed Apollo to jump on the car, he didn't hesitate and did so. He stood next to Isabella and pulled out his goofy dog smile.
Apollo has also been training. A real fighting dog, ready to protect and attack. He and Isabella have been training together, making sure they were the best team they possibly could be.
Bruno and Isabella were both laughing as he pushed the car with her on it. Apollo barking in happiness and wagging his tail.
"OUT OF THE WAY! INCOMINGGGG!" Isabella yelled as people jumped out of the way for them. It's been a while since she had this much fun.
Eventually they stopped when they saw their family. They did the spectacular ending pose, Isabella acting like she was flying like superman and Bruno posing like he was the hulk, Apollo standing on his two back paws and standing like he was ready to punch someone. Gabriel laughed at their silliness and took a picture.
Definitely going to be his lock screen he thought. Isabella sat down on the car as Bruno pushed the car again, this time on a normal pace. Apollo got down and Isabella petted his head. He licked her hand and she smiled at them. She couldn't imagine her life without Apollo.
Isabella turned around, leaning next to Bruno.
"That was fun, tank you." She smiled.
"Any time Bella." He smiled back.
Shopping was interesting, for sure.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Isabella looked in the mirror as she breathed out. She was nervous, to say at least. Today was the day she was going to work for the first time. A lot had to happen, she had to introduce herself, make changed around the office and most importantly, she had to gain the trust of her workers.
She looked for one final time in the mirror and smiled. She was ready for this.
She heard a knock and called a small 'yes' while she was looking for her phone.
"I think you're looking for this one." Gabriel said as he stood in the doorway.
Gabriel, Romolo, Lorenzo and Vito were all going with her to her business. She needed professionals to guide her at the start and lucky, she was living with the Kings of the business.
Lorenzo was ecstatic to help his little sister. He couldn't believe she was taking over a business at fifteen year old. He did see it coming that Isabella would be a successful woman. Either in business or in the underground. But as time goes on, he starts to realize she's about to be successful in both worlds.
Isabella was relieved she didn't had to do this on her own. Sure, she would have brought Katie but Katie was stilling settling in Italy with her mom and as she said it 'enjoying the sun before I have to ruin its beauty by wearing that stupid black training uniform'.
She was also happy she would do this with her father by her side. She still couldn't believe her parents had finally returned. She turned around and smiled as Gabriel was holding her phone in the air. "You left it in the kitchen." He smiled.
"Thank you." Isabella smiled as she took her phone from him.
"You look lovely, Gabriella." He smiled at his daughter's outfit. "Although it does miss something." he said as he took a step back and pretended to think of something that could be missing.
Isabella smiled playfully at him. "Really? Are you trying to tell me something?" She said with a fake mad voice. Gabriel's eyes locked with hers.
"You're my daughter, I'm allowed to tell your taste is shit." He shrugged and Isabella gasped, this time for really.
"And I know you were faking it." He said as he smiled.
"How?" Isabella said with wide eyes.
"Like I said, I'm your father. I may be old but I'm not Lorenzo yet."
"What do you mean by that?" She laughed.
"Well he's a great leader, but he still has a lot to learn about life and treating the people he cares about. They're not business deals and he needs to understand that. You, you seem to be pretty grown up for your age. You know how to handle a situation correctly and that's something you can't learn or study." He said as he took a look around Isabella's room. He loved how creative she was.
"Well that's what experience does with you." Isabella shrugged as she looked over at him. "It makes you grow up a little faster." She whispered quietly, but not quiet enough for Gabriel.
"I wish you didn't had to." He whispered, Isabella not hearing it.
"Ah! I know it." He smiled as he took his black blazer off and put it on her shoulders. "Perfect." He smiled.
"It's so huge on me, I love it." Isabella said as she side hugged Gabriel. Gabriel's eye went wide, his daughter was side hugging him.
It was a huge step in their relationship. They hugged.
"Now let's go, don't want to be late at my first day." Isabella said as she broke their little moment.
"You're about to become the boss, I'd like to see them say anything about it." Gabriel hugged, a little mad their moment ended.
He wanted to hug her a little longer.
Just a little.
Isabella laughed, getting out of his arms and walking to the door.
"Come on then." She laughed and Gabriel smiled. His little princess was laughing again.
They walked down the stairs together, doing small talk and laughing. Gabriel couldn't wish for anything more, he was in pure heaven. Bonding with his little girl.
Romolo, Vito, Lorenzo, grandpa, grandma and Kiara were all waiting at the stairs for Gabriel and Isabella to come down.
Once they did, laughing and talking together, grandpa couldn't be more proud. His son finally had his time with his amazing daughter. Grandma couldn't help but take a picture of them laughing and talking like they knew each other more than they did.
Kiara smiled, at least one of the parents were lucky, she thought. Yes, she was jealous that Gabriel had a better bond than Isabella but she would never change anything between them. She adored their forming relationship and it was just about time once Isabella was ready to bond with her.
"You look amazing, princess." Grandpa said. He had to bite down the tears forming in his eyes.
His little princess was growing up into a beautiful business woman
"Ready to take over a business." Romolo smirked and Isabella winked.
"Ready to kick some ass." Emilio said as he walked out of the kitchen with a bowl of cereals.
"Are you sure you're not coming, brother?" Lorenzo asked.
"Nah, it's way to early in the morning to act cold-hearted. I need my vacation man." Emilio sighed dramatically. "Besides, someone needs to keep an eye on these bunch of idiots we call family. I can't just leave Julio to deal with it on his own."
"How sweet of you." Isabella said sarcastic "We all know in five minutes you're laying asleep on your bed in the most uncomfortable position ever." She said and everyone laughed.
"Be happy I'm not pressing any charges on mentally abuse." Emilio muttered and Isabella cackled while holding her stomach.
"Let's go before the new boss woman dies of laughter." Lorenzo said with a small smile. They all said their goodbyes and got into the car. All five of them ready for this new chapter.
Isabella's Empire.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As they arrived in front of the building, Isabella took a moment to look it up and down.
"Not bad." She muttered.
They all pulled out their matching black sunglasses and put them on. Isabella was standing in the middle, her father and uncle next to her. Next to her father was his eldest son, Lorenzo, her oldest brother. Next to her uncle was his oldest son, Vito.
They started walking, in a V. Isabella in the top, diagonally behind her Gabriel and Romolo and diagonally behind them Lorenzo and Vito.
Isabella opened the huge doors and security let her through, immediately recognizing Romolo. They walked to the receptionist, stopping in front of her.
She was chewing a gum and slowly looked at the Castillo's. Lorenzo and Vito were getting pissed at how unprofessional she was acting. Gabriel narrowed his eyes and so did Romolo.
"Can I help you?" She asked, looking down at Isabella even though Isabella was taller than her. Isabella standing on sneakers and the girl on heels.
How short is this woman? Isabella thought. Isabella wasn't that big, so girly in front of her must be a lot smaller.
"I need the keys to the top floor. I'm-"
"I don't care who you are I'm not suppose to give such things to strangers. Now get out of the way, my new boss can arrive at any-"
"The name's Isabella Castillo." Isabella said in the coldest voice she's ever spoken. Gabriel's eyes widen for a moment. He had never heard his daughter in that tone. A born Castillo he thought.
"I'm so sorry, Isabella, I-"
"It's Miss Castillo to you. Now give me those damn keys." Isabella said, losing her patience. This was not the way to start her first day.
"Of course, my apologies Miss Castillo." The girl said as she gave the keys to Isabella as fast as human possible.
Isabella grabbed them out of her hand and without saying anything she turned around and walked to the elevator, her family following her.
The elevator opened and they all stepped in.
"For fuck's sake." Isabella breathed out and she closed her eyes.
"You did good, Gabriella." Gabriel said as he kissed on top of his daughter's head.
"Couldn't have done it any better." Lorenzo said as he placed his hand on her shoulder. She looked up at her father and brother and smiled.
"I just ordered some food and drinks, it will be here in fifteen minutes." Romolo said. Isabella's mood changed from irritated to happy once she heard the word food.
"Thank you." She said with a big smile.
"This girl loves her food more than she loves us." Vito said with a small smile.
"Always brother, remember. Food number one, family number two." she laughed as the elevators jumped open. They walked the the common room, everyone was told to gather there for an important announcement
Isabella stopped right in front of the door and turned around facing the four males behind her.
"I'll take the word. I need to do this on my own, other wise I'll never get their respect. If things go out of hand and I don't stop you, you can do your thing." She said. She knew this wasn't going to be easy, but knowing her family was right behind her made her feel a little better.
They all nodded and she slowly turned around, took one last breath before opening the door.
Everyone stopped their conversation once Isabella stepped into the room with four, scary, sexy, huge men behind her.
"Good morning. I'm sure everyone already knows about the sad news that Sofia Castillo sadly had passed away. May she-" not, Isabella thought "-rest in peace. I'm her niece, Isabella Castillo and from now on your new boss" Isabella said, taking a small breaking looking at everyone's expressions.
So far so good she thought.
"Treat me with respect and I'll treat you the same. I know I'm on the young side to take over a business but I'll give you one tip. Never underestimate a Castillo." Isabella said, the last part with a warning tone.
It was true though, you should never underestimate a Castillo, especially a broken Castillo.
Because if you're broken, you have no fear left in you as you have nothing else left to be broken.
"And why would we listen to a fifteen year old? Also I didn't know Sofia had a niece at all." Someone said as she stood up. A woman dressed in a way to short dress as she was eating up Lorenzo and Vito with her eyes.
"I also didn't know Sofia had a bitch at work." Isabella faked disappointment. "Who are you anyway?" Isabella asked, now her cold voice coming out and people started to gulp.
The more she spoke, the more people realized she really was a Castillo and not to be fooled with.
"I'm Ella Piccolini, Sofia's personal assistant." She said as she held her head high. "I could probably lead this business more than you ever could." She laughed. "But I wouldn't mind any of your brothers to take over." She said as she licked her lips.
Vito took a step forward, ready to protect his little sister but Isabella stopped him by lifting her hand and looking him in the eye. She smiled and winked, telling him she had it under control.
"Well Ella, I wouldn't mind never seeing you here. So I'm sorry to break this to you, but I think your jobless now. And just to be clear, because I don't think your disrespectful brain can follow, you, Ella Piccolini, are fired." Isabella smiled and Ella's eyes went wide.
"Y-you can't do that!" She yelled.
"Oh but I just did." Isabella said in a cold tone. "Listen up everyone. I can be very sweet, but get on my bad side and you'll never get off. Do you understand?" Isabella said with her eyebrow raised.
Everyone nodded and Isabella rolled her eyes. "I said do you understand?" She said, pressuring every word.
"Yes boss." They all said and Isabella smiled. Much better, she thought.
"Pack your shit up and get out." Isabella said coldly to Ella who was almost in tears as the situation hit her hard.
She started to pack with trembling hands. Isabella just watched and waited for her to leave. As she was slowly walking to the door, Isabella started talking again.
"Oh and Ella dear, can you take the trash out on your way out? Oh, wait, you're already doing it! Great!" Isabella smiled and then turned her smile into the most coldest faces she ever pulled.
"Come near my company again, and you won't like the consequences." She said and Ella ran out.
"Anyways, I bought cookies for everyone." Isabella said as three woman walked in with huge boxes with cookies. "Enjoy and nice to meet you!" Isabella said as she nodded and left.
Once in the hallway, all the males smiled at how good she handled that situation.
"Lorenzo, call Katie. I need a new personal assistant." Isabella said as she walked in the elevator with Gabriel, Lorenzo, Vito and Romolo following her. She pressed the top floor button.
Right before the elevators closed, Ella walked in front of it, returning to get her last box of stuff. She stopped in her tracks when she made eye contact.
The elevator doors were closing and Isabella smiled.
"Isabella fucking Castillo." She said to Ella and winked at her. Right after she winked the elevator door closed completely.
Isabella fucking Castillo
