Arabella Cattaneo POV
It was now a few minutes after 5 and I was waking to Lena's room.
"Finally!" She dramatically threw her ran arms in the air, her hair flowing everywhere as she pulled me into her huge closet.
"I'm four minutes late." I deadpan as she rolled her eyes, skimming through her clothes.
"Bella! Focus. We have to be hot!" She whines as I giggled, decided to tease her.
"Anyone you wanna impress?" I raised a brow, looking through the dresses.
"Wh-what? N-no! That's ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous!" She stuttered, mimicking Chloe from our favorite show.
"So, Rio's not a person anymore?" I scoffed picking out a pretty red dress.
Lena blushed and shook her head at the dress, "No! And I need a dark green dress!"
"Why do you need a dark green dress?" I raised my brows at her suspicious manner. Plus she doesn't wear dark colors often.
"No reason. Oh! Look at this dress! It would look amazing on you! Plus it's black." She whispered the end, showing me a black dress.
"Whatever, try this on." I handed her a dark green dress, taking the pretty black gown.
-
It was finally time and Selena was still trying to deny her feelings for her older brothers best-friend.
"-I just don't like him." She pouted, her silky dark hair swaying side to side.
"Yea right, and I'm straight!" Danny commented as he giggled.
"You know what? Let's drop this conversation. Omg! Mom, you look amazing!" Lena commented as Matias and Cami came into view.
"Thank you, sweetie. You two look amazing as well. Sebastian and Rio will be here in a few minutes." She said as Matias started arguing at how boys will look at his baby.
"Dad, I'll be fine. I'm old enough to wear this." She whined as he glared at her.
A few more minutes of arguing, Sebastian and Rio walked in. Sebastian looked hotter than ever in a full black suit and Rio has a suit on with a dark green tie.
The little bitch!
I glared at her, she didn't even realize it and kept staring at the dude she kept saying she wasn't in love with.
Lies.
"Who's the girl I'm taking, mom?" Sebastian asked, texting someone on his phone.
Lena and Cami looked at me, smiling like maniacs.
"I knew it." Matias sang, wrapping an arm around Cami's waist.
"I have to go with him?" I looked at Matias, needing help. "I'm feeling sick. I think I'm just going to stay-"
"No. Sebastian, you're taking Arabella and if you don't want to, I don't give you the mafia. Arabella if you don't go, I report you to the authorities." Matias smirked.
"You wouldn't." I glared at him as he shrugged in return.
He wouldn't.
"Let's go and get this night over with." Sebastian came towards me, sliding a cold arm around my waist, dragging me into the black 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO.
Fuck me.
It took 20 minutes there. When we got out, Sebastian put his arm around me as the paparazzi took photos of us walking inside as I silently glared at them, trying to avoiding all cameras.
"Hey guys!" Selena cheered us over as we both glared at her, Rio standing too close to her.
People stared out way as I ignored them, my black heels clicking on the expensive marble floor.
"Keep your hand off her." Matias' voice boomed as he glared at Rio's arm.
Rio rolled his eyes but nonetheless, complied, excusing himself to get drinks for himself and Lena.
"They're not here." Matias informed Sebastian as he nodded in response.
They was their enemies for years. Matti never specified but it had lasted for over half a century.
"Si lo fueran, habría sido un baño de sangre." [If they were, it would have been a bloodbath.]
I rolled my eyes as Cami talked with an older woman and Lena was just as bored as me while Sebastian led us to another set of people.
It was a young woman with pale skin, red hair and hazel eyes with a 40 year old man and graying hair and wrinkles.
She was pretty but he was uglier than shit.
The girl gave me a fake smile and kept the rest of her attention on Sebastian as the old man stared at me like I was the most tasty thing on the planet.
Sebastian silently tightened his grip, pulling me closer to his clad-hard body.
A hour of glares from little red riding hood and the piece of shit, we left as Sebastian whispered a 'sorry.'
Aw.
We steered back to where Matias and Cami were talking to a pair of older people.
"Sebastian, son, nice to see you again." The thirty year old tan man gives him a handshake as the beautiful Indian woman waves at us. "Who's the beautiful lady?"
"Arabella Cattaneo, meet Arjun Singh and his wife, Meera Singh." Sebastian nodded at them, smiles adoring their beautiful features.
I genuinely smiled back, nodding to them.
-
It was finally 11 and we were going to leave in a while because they had already made a bunch of deals with other partners, scaring them into it, but nonetheless making them comply.
I was just happy cause there were a lot of rich assholes here that kept looking at me.
The worst part was that they were ugly.
"Fuck." Sebastian cursed as a decent looking man with the height of 6'1 came towards us. His blond hair was glistening under the expensive lighting as his cologne made me wanna choke myself with the diamond necklace I was wearing.
"Seb, it's been a while." He smirked as Sebastian tightened his arm around me in anger.
"Don't call me that." Sebastian replied, sounding like he was going to shoot him.
"We used to be buddies, I think I'll be able to." The man winked as he turned to me. "Hey, after your done with this man, come to me. You're hot."
"Or I can take the gun from your waistband and shoot you in the head." I glared as he cautiously took a step back.
"So, you didn't pick a dumb one this time?" Goldilocks raised a brow.
"I learn from my mistakes, Bentley." Sebastian scoffed.
Bentley Cooper?
Bentley was going to respond but 'Destiny Miller' a well known model came up. Her platinum blonde hair straightened to her fake ass, her fake lips with gloss and even though she was an annoying model on set, she looked good.
Not as good as me.
"You totally downgraded, Seb." Her voice that I've had complains for.
She used to model for my company until she got all the surgery and it started to look fake. I fired her because her not only did her looks started to decrease, but so did her reputation. Reputation that was bad for my company.
"So, you got a nose job and boob jobs but couldn't get contacts or glasses, huh." I threw her a fake smile as her face went pale.
"I didn't!" She gasped as if I just told everyone she killed her brother to get famous.
Which she did.
"I know you did. Everyone knows, really. No wonder you got fired from 'Dear' and now your career is going to shit." I stated the facts from the emails she sent me, begging to hire her again.
"That's not true. I'm on my way to get a contract from 'Versace'!" She smirked as me as if she just won. "I don't see any companies offering you their jobs."
"Oh, honey. I've been asked. A lot. I just use my brains more often and I've earned money to last multiple lifetimes. If I wanted to model. I would've done a while ago." I smiled as she scowled at me. "Oh! And Destiny, sweetie, don't count on the contract to get a job from them."
The company emailed me on why I fired her, I didn't want to ruin her reputation even more but now, it didn't matter since she was an even bigger bitch.
"You know what? We are going to go." Bentley muttered.
"God. What the fuck is her problem?" Sebastian asked, leading me outside to his car.
"She's just threatened by my hotness." I sarcastically smile at him.
"No shit." He muttered so low that I almost didn't hear him.
"What happened between you and Bentley?" I raised a dark brown brow, intrigued at their small talk.
"Nothing. Just old friends." He rolled his eyes.
Doesn't seem like it.
"Let's just get home. I'm dying for real food." I groaned, thinking about the small amounts of escargot they served.
When we got back, he stopped at the door and turned to me, "Next Sunday, 5 pm. Get ready. I have to take you out."
What?
Sorry I'm going through shut. I'll try when I have time:)
