Adelina's POV

Eventually, after the family meetings were over one of the mothers, Sofia, found us in the library pretending to be normal teenagers for a while reading books that didn't have to do with murder or destruction. It was a nice thought but it didn't change who we were. What we were.

"I was thinking that we could have a family dinner and maybe a movie night to unwind after the incident in the mall." Luka gave a barely noticeable shrug and Santi seemed to want to make his mother happy so he agreed, making a small smile appear on her lips. "Okay, could you maybe ask the other three to join? I don't know where they ran off to."

I gave a small nod not missing how she didn't call them by their name and seemed to want to ignore their personalities. But I kept quiet telling her a simple 'sure'.

"Where are The Aces anyways?" Santi asked the question we should've worried about sooner considering it was The Aces we were discussing.

I swear under my breath and pull out my phone calling Emmalyn hoping that she'd answer. While we could've searched the house it was more likely the three left the property because if Emmy was here someone would know where she was. Little attention seeker that she was.

After our brief conversation, I knew it was unlikely the three would show up anytime soon and all we could do was hope the three didn't cause too much damage in the hours they were having their 'fun'.

The Ace's didn't show up for the family dinner or the 'movie bonding' session as one of the younger brothers named it last night. Luis and Santiago sat next to one another after I badgered my teammate into it. It was clear they weren't comfortable together but by the end of the night, Santi was whispering into Luis's ear. Some of the older brothers in the front of the room squealed about it and I shared a look with Luka. Just because they were family didn't rule out the fact they were idiots.

I texted Emilio again checking in knowing he was the most likely of the three to respond but I fall asleep before getting a response. The sound of yelling wakes me and I immediately grab my gun and a knife and leave my room meeting Santi and Luka right outside of it. We walk to where the sound of yelling is coming from and find Andrés and two of our fathers going off at The Aces who apparently broke into the house with the twins covered in blood. Emmy seemed to not care at all as she traced her hand with a knife that was probably sharpened and laced with a deadly poison. One wrong move and she'd be in a world of pain. Ze was focused on his phone and the only one half paying attention to the scene in front of them was Emilio.

The boy in question seems unbothered like his fellow teammates and cuts in when the yelling trio stopped to take a breath to inform us that he and his team would be going to bed as they were tired of the fun they partook in this evening. His wording clearly showed he spent too much time with his twin sister.

I thought about it for a second before calling out to the three, "What did you do tonight?"

My little sister looked up from her knife with a maniacal smile, "Just a little bit of murder here and there. Typical Friday nights and all." With those parting words, a dainty shrug and a spin meant to show off her blood-covered dress.

While the behavior was normal to us the shock on the rest of the family's faces made it how messed up our own minds and The Aces' minds were. I could feel the weight of the stares of the family in question but I didn't have the words or care to try and explain this situation to them. So instead Santi, Luka, and I say our goodnights and head back to my room to figure out just who The Aces killed to assess how much danger and trouble we'd all be in come morning.

When we get to my room I pull out my phone and sigh when I see a picture Emilio sent to me. It was of the three eating pastries covered in blood. Psychopaths. Complete and utter psychopaths.

It took Luka five hours to put it all together but when he did we all swore cursing the psychotic trio in our heads. The entire thing was filmed, something that was against the Unseen Nightmare rules but The Aces occasionally broke said rule to prove a point. The building the three turned into a slaughterhouse was only up for five minutes when Luka found it.

It shouldn't have excited me seeing the blood. I wasn't like them. I didn't like killing. I did it because I had to. But seeing the blood and hearing the screams. I told Luka to turn off the video and I grabbed my stuff. My teammates didn't know what I was doing but they followed me without question as I headed to The Aces' room.

Emmalyn's POV

Knocking on my door wakes the three of us and while this person was interrupting my beauty sleep I look beautiful all the time so I open the door to find The Roses. Seeing them I roll my eyes and spin letting my short neon pink bob, it matched my white with pink polka dot pajamas perfectly. The three followed me into my room uninvited. So very rude. Someone should've taught them manners.

I move and perch on the windowsill while Lio gets up and begins to clean one of the guns we used last evening. Ze was pretending to still be asleep even though everyone in the room knew he wasn't. Unlike my twin and I, he got a lot of sleep because he got to go straight to bed after changing while Lio and I had to get all the blood off ourselves and I also had to wash my hair. Blood was truly beautiful but it could be such a bitch sometimes.

It was just like me.

Seeing as The Roses were not initiating the conversation I decided to be a courteous host and start us off, "So however can we help you this early in the morning?"

We'd be dumb to not already know they saw the video. We had it set to release this morning to display what happens when you slander us. Unsurprisingly The Roses were upset they missed out. Too bad they were not as fabulous as us and had to miss out. That and the picture of the yummy treats Ze got us and anyone would be jealous.

Adelina gave me a look and I gave her an innocent one back, truly it wasn't my fault they missed out on the fun. "What the hell did you think you were doing last night?"

I pretend to be dumb I could be cute no matter what I did, "Last night? Hm we just had a little fun Addy is that not allowed?" I pout at her and I see her posture relax a bit and I scoff inside my head. It was too easy. They'd be dead in a heartbeat with those emotions.

"You found where Unseen leaders were having a meeting, attacked, and killed all the people in attendance Emmalyn."

I hum pursing my lips and look up asking the devil for patience. Killing a blood relative was just bad karma. It may make me less beautiful.

I'd make Ze do it. He couldn't get any uglier.

After I gather my thoughts I turn back to her with a shrug and toss a dagger in the air and catch it. "If you know what we did last night, what is the point of this conversation?"

We all know why they were here but it was fun to make people admit things.

"You killed five of the Unseen Nightmare leaders, Emmalyn. Do you not understand the repercussions of that?"

A dagger flew right past her grazing but not cutting her cheek, I wouldn't want to be the cause of ugliness. However, I will not listen to her disrespect. I was much too cute for that.

All of my fun in this conversation died so it was time for them to go. "I understand perfectly five down seven to go and then we are the ones in charge so either get in line and help us complete that goal or simmer down and be pampered by this so-called family. It was nice talking to you but as I am sure you are aware it is still early and I need another hour or two of beauty sleep after my exciting night."

Lio was the one to get up and usher them out. Whether it was because he knew I was about to kill them or because he was also annoyed I wasn't sure. I didn't question it though as it got the result I wanted and I just got back into bed and cuddled with Ze.

"What can you expect from them, Emmy? They don't understand your genius as we do."

I smirk at Ze's words as I close my eyes. In little time they'd all see my genius. Our abilities. This was what we were trained for after all.
