This chapter contains: physical abuse and scenes of a sexual nature

I woke up with my head aching from being smashed against the mirror, the night before hit me like a ton of bricks, but before I could say anything the prison cell I had been tied up in opened.

A tall man with black hair, brown eyes and a beard walked in, in a black suit making it even harder under the dim light to see him.

"Good morning princess" the mans voice said in the shadows. "What am I doing here?" I said tiredly as I hadn't eaten or drank anything in many hours.

"It's just...do you remember me?" He said walking forward making my eyes bulge out of their sockets. "Jacob!?" I shouted "correct so you do remember me?" He said "Why are you doing this Jacob? What did I ever-" "That's exactly it, you know I thought when you sat next to me at that dinner table I would finally have something Jeremiah wouldn't" Jacob said confusing me.

"What?" I said worried, "You see even since a child my brother wanted everything I had, sadly for me he always got it" He said making my face drain. "Brother!?" I said scared for my safety. "You see that's the problem, if I even mention his name he becomes the topic" Jacob said calmly.

"For gods sake Jacob take be back home, you can't kidnap me because your jealous of the life Jeremiah has" I said angrily. Jacob came towards me clenching his jaw and then grabbing my neck making it hard for me to breathe. "J-Jacob I can't b-breathe!" I said looking into his eyes of anger.

"For once shut your gold dam mouth Maeve!" He Sid poking the bullet wound in my shoulder making me scream out in pain as I started crying.

"See your weak, all I had to do was hurt you and your practically on your knees begging for your life" he said laughing but still not letting go of my neck.

"You know Jacob your just a-" all of a sudden Jacob let go of my neck to slap my face. "Your lucky I saved you there, that could have been a lot more pain if you finished that sentence" he said as my cheek started to burn.

Jacob started untying me which I was confused about until he threw me against the wall and ripping apart of my dress. "You know my brother always does get the best, but it's only fair to share am I right?" He said caressing my shoulder bone and to my back but not in a gentle way.

"But not right now, you see I'm a little busy so I thought how do I keep Bella and Mackenzie entertained....ahah I know I'll let them in with you" he said dropping me to the ground as the girls walk in and him out.

"Finally something to do" Mackenzie said before punching my face.

Jeremiah's POV:

Even since Louis told me last night that Maeve had gone missing, I've been round everyone finding out what happened, I heard that apparently the two girls Bella and Mackenzie didn't like Maeve because it was something to do with Louis. That doesn't matter but oh well.

Parker told me there was blood everywhere in the Woman's bathroom which made my blood boil.

"Jeremiah?" Colton said coming into the room, "This better be important" i said not making eye contact. "Your brother Jacob hasn't come in today and some of the workers say they overheard him saying something to Bella and Mackenzie about meeting him in the warehouse after they've done their part" Colton said to me as I started putting it together.

"The spare warehouse" I said deep in thought "sorry?" Colton said confused. "Bella and Mackenzie have been working for him all along, they kidnapped Maeve and snuck her to the warehouse were Jacob would be" I said.

"Get all men, surrounding the place" I said before Colton fastly walked to follow the order.

Maeve's POV:

Bella and Mackenzie just left after giving me another wound to the head and more bruises.

Is Jeremiah going to leave me here? Does he know about this?

All I want to do is enjoy this holiday but doesn't look like it at this point in time, I haven't ate or drank anything and neither changed. Theirs dry blood all over my clothes and here I am thinking if Jeremiah cares.

I just hope someone helps me.

All of a sudden Jacob walks back in through the door angrily. "This is all your fault!" He shouted slamming me against the wall which hit my head once more. "W-what?" I said scared. "Jeremiah and the men are stood out there for you!" He again shouted but this time I felt happy for some reason.

"You aren't going to make it out of this one though, neither is Jeremiah" he said. "Your fucking crazy!" I shouted as I spat in his face.

"You'll regret that bitch" Jacob said before punching my face and then kicking me to the ground. At this point every part of my body hurt.

Just as Jacob pulled out his gun and I thought this was it Louis walked in with his gun pointed at Jacobs head while I was laying on the ground in pain.

"It's over Jacob move away from her" Louis said which made Jacob smirk. "You don't really think you can save her do you?" Jacob said lifting me off the ground by my neck making me suffocate.

"I don't think, I know because in a second you will be laying dead on the floor!" Jeremiah shouted walking through the door. The minute me and Jeremiah made eye contact I could see what he had said the other day was not true just from his facial expression.

Jacob tightened his grip around my neck which meant that I now was breathing in nothing. I look to Jeremiah who was now in shock and looked worried.

"I love you" I whisper out just before a gun shot was heard which made Jacob drop me to the ground as he fell dead.

I laid their knowing even though the pains unbearable, I'm safe now. Letting myself drift.

1 day later.

I woke up this morning to the nurse treating my wounds while I noticed I was still in Ibiza, which I was surprised about as knowing Jeremiah I expected him to fly home.

"Good morning dear, don't move at the moment as it will hurt. Do you need anything?" The nurse said to me as i rubbed my eyes awake. "No thank you, do you know where everyone is?" I said as I noticed how quiet it was. I looked round to notice the room I was in before going to the club which was the one I shared with Jeremiah.

"Most of them have gone to a water park, to leave you to sleep but some have stayed." The lady says which relived me, as I was worried because of the kidnapping we would have had to go home and back to work.

"Do you know if Hailey is here?" I said as I hadn't seen her for awhile and assumed she was probably exhausted. "Yes, she's been in her room as she hasn't felt well" the nurse says. "Is she okay?" I said worried "yes she's completely fine it's just pregnancy" she said smiling at me.

"I'm going to go and see her" I said moving to get out. "Sorry but Mr Diego (Jeremiah) has given strict orders for you not to leave" she said holding me back down. "Okay, I might sleep now" I said hoping she would leave so I could go out to see Hailey.

"Okay, I'll be back later to check on you" the nurse said before walking out and closing the bedroom door. I waited for about 5 minutes to make sure I couldn't hear any moment, and then got up and headed towards the door.

I walked out and quickly down the hallway ignoring the aching pain of my head and the bruises Jacob had inflicted. When I arrived at Hailey and Grayson's room I knocked before hearing Hailey shout come in.

"Maeve!" Hailey said poking her head up from the bed. "Hey" I said walking towards her and placing myself on the bed. "Are you okay? What happened?" She said panicked. "I'm fine, now lay back down I heard you didn't feel well" I said smiling at her.

"Only in the mornings but I'm just annoyed it's during the holiday" she said resting against the head of the bed. "Shouldn't you be in bed?" She said to me. "Yes but I wanted to see you" I said making me and Hailey chuckle.

"Where's the boys?" I said to Hailey. "Parker, Louis, Grayson and Jeremiah are down stairs by the pool while everyone else went to the water park" she said pointing to her balcony which was over looking the pool outside. "How come Parker and Louis stayed?" I said turning back to her.

"Well Parker says your his best friend now and Louis is just Louis" she said making me laugh a little. "Parker and me are crazy that's why we get along" I said looking to Hailey who was giggling.

"How are you feeling now?" I said to Hailey who was now sat up. "Fine now, what about you?" She said. "Okay shall we go downstairs?" I said to Hailey who was getting out of bed revealing her baby bump.

"Sure" she said walking me to the mirror. "You realise Jeremiah will freak out a little" she said confusing me. "What do you mean?" I said. "When you pasted out Louis and Parker took you to the nurse because they didn't want Jeremiah to see you as you were covered head to toe in blood" she said looking down.

"So now that it's clear what they've done to you he'll blame himself and others around him" she said. "It's okay" I said. "Now let's go down stairs and too the pool" I said in my oversized T-shirt and shorts. "Okay" Hailey said following me out the door.

We headed down stairs were I came into view with the massive infinity pool where Parker and Louis were swimming while Grayson and Jeremiah were sat near having a conversation. As I got closer I linked eyes with Jeremiah who came straight over to me and holding me, taking me to his chair.

"Good morning" I said to Grayson who was cuddling Hailey. "Good Morning Maeve, aren't you supposed to be resting upstairs?" He said as Jeremiah grabbed a chair placing himself next to me.

"Maeve" Jeremiah said which made me turn to him. "Stop doing this to me" he said looking me straight in the eye. "What?" I said confused. "When I say rest you need to listen to that order" he said clenching his jaw in anger.

"Do I not get a sorry my brother kidnapped you or sorry i hired two women who ended up punching you!?" I said angrily. Jeremiah looked down as I saw the emotions run through him. "I'm sorry Maeve, I just want to protect you." He said. "Well you seem to be doing a great job of that, I've been shot in the stomach, shoulder and beaten multiple times so yes I should congratulate you on how well you've protected me" I said instantly getting mad at myself for saying that. Why can't I just think before I answer.

Jeremiah lowered his head obviously feeling guilt full which made me feel bad. "Maeve it's not his fault" Grayson interrupted which if I'm honest I completely agreed with. "I'm sorry" I said before getting up leaving as Parker and Louis shouted my name as they only just realised I was there.

I felt really bad form my outburst at Jeremiah but it felt like the events of the other day were only just hitting me. I need to be able to protect myself, I can't just mope around getting shot at all the time, I need to be able to protect myself.

I went up to the room I was staying in and decided to have a shower as I probably smelt really bad. I pulled my clothes off looking at the bruises surrounding my body as I let out a small tear. I noticed that the bullet wound to my shoulder had been stitched up but it was hard to see as it was covered by some blood, as I probably shouldn't have gone to Hailey.

I got in the shower attempting to relax for awhile, until a few minutes later I just sat on the shower floor letting my emotions break out. I cried more tears than I thought I could until the bathroom door opened and I saw Jeremiah.

"What are you doing in here?" I said clearing my throat. He stood there for awhile just looking at the bruises and stitches I had on my body. "Maeve I can't explain how sorry I am" he said walking towards me.

"It's not your-" "Yes it is, you said so yourself, I can't protect you" he said cutting me off.

"I don't blame you" I said letting tears slowly slip from my face realising that I was sat naked in front of Jeremiah but he didn't care less. "You should" he said coldly. "But I don't" I said turning the shower off and wrapping a towel around my body.

Jeremiah looked down but I picked his chin up so he was facing me. Just as I was about to speak I saw a small tear fall from his eye. "I'm okay" I said with my voice cracking as I wiped his tear away.

We looked at each other for a minute before I connected our lips but this time not in a forceful way but loving.

We kissed for a while until I started unbuttoning his shirt. "Are you sure?" Jeremiah said holding my hand before I nodded making him carried on. As I unbuttoned his top he kissed along my jawline and down to my neck making me let out a small moan.

I pulled his shirt off revealing his defined abs as I connected our lips back together. All of a sudden he stopped which confused me, as he walked over the the door locking it and then to the shower turning it on before walking back to me.

He looked at me for assurance before taking the towel off me revealing my naked skin once again before he took the rest of his clothes off.

We connected back again kissing as we got in the shower, "Maeve" he said basically saying if I was on birth control which I nodded too. As he turned me around to face him as he finally thrusted himself in. Making me moan in pleasure as many don't know but I'm a virgin, surprise! surprise!

We both moaned in sink before he turned me around and carrying on.

We finally finished, and we're out of breath. I turned to him where he kissed me once more slipping his tongue inside my mouth. "Maeve I know that was your first time" he said making me pull away.

"It's okay, it was very pleasurable" he said making me chuckle. "Shut up" i said lightly hitting his skin. Me made out a little more before we got out the shower placing our towels on.

"Jeremiah" I said knowing the next thing I said wasn't really appropriate for this moment but when is it ever right. He nodded for me to carry on. "Did you get Mackenzie and Bella?" I said making him turn to me. "No, they fled before we got to them but it's okay, as we have the best people for finding them" he said calming me a little.

"Do you know where they are?" I said interested. "Last I heard they went back to their original gang" he said shocking me "What! That means they'll be attacking soon" I said to him panicked. "Calm down, we have inside men their and they think at this moment in time they won't be able to as they weren't exactly welcomed home from leaving that gang to join ours" he said making me chuckle a little.

"Anyway don't worry about that right now. Dress up, we're having a dinner down stairs in an hour." He said making me confused. "Why should I dress up?" I said "Because it's Parker's birthday." He said before walking out and I assume to his closet. Shit! I haven't got him a present.

Jeremiah said we had an hour so I quickly changed into something and ran to Hailey to let her know I was going to get Parker a present which she ended up coming with me for.

We arrived at the mall and went quickly inside Apple where we bought him a brand new phone and laptop, me and Hailey bought him presents together as Jeremiah had given us some money to get him a present as he didn't manage to get him one either.

Personally my favourite present was the picture I got copied of me and Parker dancing drunkly which I got framed, I hadn't known Parker long but it's like Louis I just knew we would be good friends.

After around half an hour at the mall we drove back home and quickly went upstairs to get dressed and wrap the presents.

Maeve's dress:



I put on a longer dress than usual just to cover the bruises so I didn't stand out too much. After I quickly curled my hair and put some natural makeup on I quickly wrapped the presents and headed downstairs with Hailey.

The table was set up outside by the pool as the sun was setting which made the view extravagant to look at. When I walked over I saw everyone sat talking on the out side sofas.

Me and Hailey walked over the Parker were Hailey handed him his presents as he went to open them, the firstly opened the laptop and phone, "thanks guys i needed a new one!" He said smiling at us "we knew" Hailey said making everyone laugh.

Finally he opened the framed picture of us dancing drunkly and burst out laughing as so did I but everyone sat quietly as they didn't know what was so funny until Parker turned the picture to show me falling on Parker as looked out of it.

All of a sudden everyone burst out laughing at our faces in the picture, at the sofas were Louis, Hailey, Me, Noah, Colton, Lucas, Wesley, Harry, Amy, Camila, Jeremiah, Grayson and obviously Parker as these were all the closest friends of Jeremiah's etc...

I walked over to Parker giving him a hug before turning and walking to sit on Jeremiah's lap. "You look beautiful" Jeremiah said making me blush. "Thanks" I said looking at him. "You know I heard Harry's going to propose to Amy tonight" I said to him. "That'll be nice, they're good together" he said before pecking my cheek.

"Okay love birds get a room" Wesley shouted making everyone laugh. "Only if you and Camila do" I said winking at him as I knew him and Camila both had a crush on each other but wouldn't admit it. They instantly both went red as everyone laughed.

Dinner was then ready so we all gathered around it, I ended up sitting next to Jeremiah and Louis which was nice as I felt I hadn't spoken to Louis in ages. "You alright Louis?" I said elbowing him lightly so he would turn to me.

"Yes, you? You know your once tuff woman" he said laughing as I did as well. "Well someone has to be the funny one" I said as me and Louis were laughing still.

We ate dinner and after headed over to the outdoor bar that had been put up. I had been told by the nurse earlier not to drink tonight which I was a little sad about but it meant that me and Hailey could be non alcoholics together and it meant that Grayson could finally have a drink as every since we got here he hasn't drank because it wasn't fair on Hailey but we're at the house now so it'll be ok.

"So was he good?" Hailey said as we sat down which confused me. "What?" I said. "Jeremiah was he good" "you know your not making any sense" i said. "When you had sex, was he good?" She said which shocked me. "What?" I said sounding really suspicious.

"Don't lie to me Maeve I can see by the way your walking and the way you and Jeremiah looked at each other when you sat with him" she said. "He was" I said answering her question about if he was good. "I knew it" she said making us both chuckle.

I looked over to Parker who was already drunk and handing out more vodka shots. "It's kind of sad that we can't drink" I said to Hailey. "At first but you get used to it" she said pointing to her stomach.

Parker came over to me and Hailey grabbing our hands and pulled us over to the others were they were dancing. I looked to Harry who seemed really nervous so I went over to see how he was doing.

"You okay?" I said standing next to Harry as he watched Amy. "No, What if she says no" he says. "Let me tell you, if we thought she was going to say no someone would have told you not to propose" I said chuckling. "Go ask her now otherwise she'll get drunk" I added to him. "Okay thanks I'll see you in a bit" Harry said walking over to Amy and taking her hand walking her to the beach infront of the house just as the sun was setting.

I noticed Hailey seemed to be having a good time having a little dance with Grayson so I walked over to the rails that was right next to the beach.

I watched as Amy and Harry held in hand swinging their hands back and forth, and felt happy for them. Jeremiah walked and stood next to me, "are you okay Maeve?" He said to me. "Yes I'm fine I'm just watching Harry propose to Amy." I said "If you want I won't drink!p" he said to me as I turned to him.

"No, you should have a good time, I'll be fine with Hailey" I said giving him peck on his cheek. "Okay" he said.

"Omg he's doing it!" I said happily as I watched Harry get down on one knee in a distance. "Guys he's proposing!" I shout making everyone turn and run over, by now we were all stood against the rails watching.

"Omg!" Hailey said next to me as we watched Amy jump into his arms, as he shouted across the beach "she said yes!" Harry shouted as everyone shouted yes and jumped in the air.
