Jeremiah's POV: (By the way this is from when he woke up the day Maeve left)

I woke up to an empty bed which at first I thought Maeve had just gone to the bathroom so I went to see her and check if she was okay but it was empty. I turned around to leave however my eyes caught a glimpse of a letter on the night stand.

I walked over reading the letter: (reminder of letter)

Jeremiah

Please don't come looking for me, I want everyone including you to move on, forget about me. I want you to find a woman your in utter love with, have her children and raise them to be just like you.

I'm not doing this because I want to leave, I'm doing this because i need to leave. When you brought me here I hated everyone, and I despised you more but these people became my best friends, you became my only love.

But with deep thought I remember I've put you all through more pain than 3 lifetimes.

The pain will ease, one day it won't hurt anymore. Please, forget about me to start a new life.

Maeve

I looked at it in shock at what I had just red, s-she left me? Without thinking I ran downstairs not caring how much noise I make and was shouting Maeve's name, I looked round the house everywhere and at this point everyone was starting to come down.

"What's going on you've woken the baby" Grayson said at the top of the stairs while rubbing his eyes. "Maeve she's gone" I said say up against the wall containing my emotions. "What? What do you mean?!" Grayson said walking down to me while taking the letter out of my hand.

"What's wrong?" Colton asked walking down to Grayson. "Call all men, Maeve's left" Grayson replied to which Coltons face was shocked. I hadn't said anything just sat against the wall, "Where do you think she's gone?" Colton said changing his emotion to coldness. "I don't know but if we look for her now we have a better chance of finding her." Grayson said to Colton as Parker, Louis, Camila, Wesley, Noah, Lucas, and Hailey with the baby came down to see what was happening.

"What's happened?" Louis said sternly. "Where's Maeve?!" Parker said sounding a bit panicked but covering it up with coldness as well. "She's gone, she left me" I said standing up and leaving.

I walked to my office as I couldn't repeat it again. Why would she leave me? She was my life, everything I did was for her and she just left?!

Without thinking I started throwing things off my desk and punching the walls. She said not to look for her but I can at least try.

Colton came into the office a few minutes later to see my trashed office along with my bloody hand. "Jeremiah-" "Have you found here?" I cut him off before I could here him say about my office or hand. "No, but we know she's got on a flight back to where her old apartment is, we have men down there for when she arrives to follow her." Colton said to me .

"Keep an eye on her I want to know what she's doing" I said as I grabbed bottle of alcohol from the cabinet under my desk. "Jeremiah come on don't start drinking" Colton said. I know he's my best friend but he doesn't get to tell me how I live my life. "Get out" I said before Colton turned around and left, he'll get over it as he doesn't take it personally.

The next morning.

I woke up to Colton, Grayson and Lucas entering my office. I had drank all night which meant I woke up with a pounding headache.

"Don't start this" Grayson said referring to me drinking every night. "What have you found?" I said ignoring his statement. "Well she got to her apartment and gave in keys and then she went to a hotel where she dropped off her suitcases and.." Lucas said as all three of them looked to each other wondering if they should finish that sentence.

"And!?" I said angrily. "She went to night club, left with a man and the last time they saw her for the evening was entering that same mans house." Grayson said as what he said infuriated me. Just as that I saw Lucas hiding something behind his back.

"What is that?" I said controlling my anger. "It's nothing" Lucas said as I got up and tugged them out of his hands I To see images of Maeve kissing another man, to pictures of him and her in bed.

At first I felt sad seeing these but that quickly turned to anger as I punched the wall. "So she left me for another man?!" I shouted making all the men seem a little anxious.

"Maeve wouldn't do that" Parker said entering my office as I assume he heard what was going on. "You don't think so?" I shouted shoving an image of Maeve and this other man naked in bed as he fucked her.

"You don't think so now!?" I shouted as Parker looked a little shocked from the photo but quickly averted his eyes from the image. "It's got some logical explication" Parker shouted back as I threw a punch to his jaw as I pinned him against the wall.

"Jeremiah!" Grayson shouted as he and the others tried to pull him off of Parker, just as that happened the door opened to wear Louis, Hailey and the baby were. Instantly Hailey walked away trying to get Kenzie away from the situation and Louis shoved me off of Parker.

After they all managed to get me off him they all looked at me in disgust before leaving. "You've lost it" Grayson said panting just before leaving my office, to me being alone.

I picked up the other picture of Maeve and the man making out, and finally let my emotions show on my face. She left me for another man? I thought she loved me.

I picked up my phone dialling the number of Elijah who was on of the men over there watching Maeve. "Hello?" I heard him say over the line. "Keep watching her, I want every bit of information that you collect." I said "Don't you just want her to take her back to you?" Elijah said confused. "I will get her back I just want to see what she does with her freedom" I said calming myself. "We've just found out that she's calling herself Bella" Elijah said over the phone which made me confused. Why would she call herself Bella after that was the woman who murdered Harry!?

"Okay" I said before ending the call. I was paying for Harry's funeral as it was the least I could do, I pay for all the funerals if there apart of my mafia. I wanted Maeve to be here for it as I knew she would want to be here but I don't know anymore I mean she lost our baby and the next day she was out fucking another guy.

I truly don't know who she is anymore.

Maeve's POV:

Turns out I got the job even after all the tension in the room between me and Kaiden, I started working there a week ago and Kaiden has been flirting with me ever since.

I hated this life, the one without Jeremiah and everyone but I had to do this for their benefit. I regret deeply sleeping with Kaiden but I may as well be with him as he is the normal route for a family, but I don't want that I want Jeremiah and to be with him but I know that can't happen.

2 months later

It's been 2 months and I truly hate this life, and the poshness of it all but it's what I signed up for. I haven't heard from Jeremiah or anyone in fact since I left, I do wonder if he's moved on, if Hailey and Grayson like being parents, if Parker's asked that girl out, I-if Louis, Lucas and Noah have moved on from H-Harry's death, and if Amy's moved on.

It's weird, I feel like I'm being watched, like all the time, but I haven't seen anyone so I assume it's probably just my imagination. I ended up moving in with Kaiden, I didn't really want to but I mean you've got to start a new life somewhere right?

Sometimes I get stares at work as I mean I am dating my boss but oh well, I haven't made any friends really I just go to work then go food shopping and then head back to Kaiden's where I make dinner for us both. I haven't had sex with Kaiden since that night when I saw him as I always think about Jeremiah, and I think it's starting to annoy Kaiden as he seems to huff and puff when I say no.

I don't call where I live right now 'home' as I know my home will always be where I was with Jeremiah (cringey right). I've just cooked dinner for me and Kaiden and he seems to be getting more controlling and rude as we go on through this relationship however there's no point breaking up with him as I have nothing else.

"You didn't boil the pasta for long enough it's hard" Kaiden said bringing me out of my daydreams. "Well next time you boil it then" I said angrily at his rudeness. "Don't speak to me like that" Kaiden said which I rolled my eyes too.

"Anyway Darcey has invited me to go clubbing tonight so I'll be leaving in an hour" I said. Darcey is my work colleague and if you don't say yes to when she invites you out, trust me the whole town knows. "I'm coming" Kaiden said eating his pasta. "But she invited me" I said. "I know and I was invited as well as the whole department" he said.

Kaiden got up and left to go change for the night club, while leaving me to clear and wash both of our dishes. After that I went into my wardrobe wear i picked out a cute white dress.



After I put it on I made sure to cover up the empty area in the draw as underneath it laid a gun. Usually I wouldn't do this but it's just to protect myself.

I headed down stairs to seen Kaiden in a T-shirt and jeans, as I walked down the stairs he saw me. I reached out for my purse but before I could get it Kaiden pinned my hands above my head against the wall, "You look slutty. But it's okay for me" he said which stung just before he stared kissing my neck. "Kaiden stop" I said as he continued ignoring my comment.

As Kaiden was about to unzip my dress I built up the strength and pushed him off me. "I said get off me!" I shouted at him. "You act like a slut as well" he said as picked up a jacket to which he left the house waiting in the car for me lock up like always.

I sucked up the tears that really badly wanted to fall down my cheeks, picking up my purse and locking the door.

We headed to the club in the car as Kaiden drove in silence. "Why won't you have sex with me?" He suddenly said sounding angered a little. "I don't want to do this now" I said rolling my eyes. "No! Answer my question!" Kaiden said to which I wanted to say about Jeremiah and how he was better and all but didn't. "Tonight" I said as Kaiden looked at me confused.

"What?" He said pulling into the car park. "I will have sex with you tonight." I said with no emotion as I really didn't want to but I had no choice. I got out of the car trying to walk as quickly as I can because I didn't want to say any,ore to Kaiden but he quickly made his way over slapping my bum as well.

"Don't" I said as we entered. "Stop moaning for once" he said as we walked through the club to where we saw the while group.

We drank for a while until we were all drunk. I was dancing to 'Hate Me' by Ellie Goulding while I turned around and saw Jeremiah making out with Darcey, my eyes widened as I saw this, before anyone could say anything I quickly walked out of the back exit feeling the cold breeze as I finally felt the tears roll down my face.

I didn't want Kaiden to come looking for me so I started walking out of the alley way, I know he wasn't good to me nor a a good boyfriend but I was upset and angry from this whole situation and from meeting him. I hated it and now I was finally letting the emotions run through, all I wanted was to be with Jeremiah.

I walked down the street drunk, I turned not looking to see if there was any cars and a few seconds later I saw a car speeding towards me and couldn't stop which crashed into me.

The last thing I remember was a pair of arms lifting me up. "Let's take her back to him" I heard him say which I was confused about but couldn't think about as I passed out.

I woke up to a man in the corner of the room. "Where am I?" I asked as I tried to sit up but couldn't as I got lightly pushed back down .

"Don't now you'll hurt yourself" I heard his man say right beside me. "Where am I?" I repeated a little angered now. "Your in a plane" the man in the corner of the room spoke. "Why!?" I shouted now panicked. "Your going back to Jeremiah" he said.

"No I'm not, you can't just take me away I have a life back there a boyfriend and friends" I said lying. "Really because to me it looked like your 'boyfriend' was making out with another woman while your 'friends' spoke about how 'horrible' outfit was" the guy beside me said using air quotes.

"You can't take me to Jeremiah" I said knowing now these people where the ones following me the whole time. "We can and we are" the guy in the corner spoke. "No your-" I attempted to say but stopped halfway screaming a little when I felt the sharp pain in my ribs. "Didn't I say be careful you've broken a rib and bruised the others" the guy beside me said. "W-what!?" I said still feeling the pain. A tear escaped my eye from the pain as the guy beside me told the other to go get the nurse.

When she got back before she did anything she injected something into my arm which made me sleepy before I passed out.

I woke up to being picked up. I looked around as the pain had gone and I was getting taken off the plane as I saw a car parked outside which I assume meant we traveled on one of Jeremiah's private jets.

Just before the man put me in the car I asked the stupidest question "what's your name?" "Elijah" he replied chuckling, I only asked because he was the one sat in the corner of the room and I didn't want to keep referring to him as the guy in the corner of the room. "And the other mans name?" I said wanting to know the mans name who stood beside me. "Taylor" he said.

Elijah as I know now, placed me gently in the car as Taylor and him sat in the front with Elijah driving.

We pulled up at the house I knew to well as Jeremiah's house, I knew this was not going to go down well with anyone as I just left and didn't say anything. As the car stopped I saw Noah walk out of the house to the car.

"He opened my car door to where I didn't say anything as he picked me up carefully as he nodded to Elijah and Taylor while he walked me into the house and up the stairs to I assume my bedroom. "Not to be rude but why are you the one doing this?" I asked as he chuckled. "Because I'm the only one who's not angry at you" he replied. "Really?" I asked not sounding convinced. "I understand why you did what you did whereas the others think you just left him" he said back.

We walked down the hallway to my bedroom as he set me on my bed, "thanks" I said smiling at Noah. "Oh, I'm still mad at you though" he said walking out of the room and closing the door behind him.

Well if he understands and is still mad I have a lot more to encounter...
