I woke up to the faint sound of music from the kitchen, Last night I grabbed my stuff and headed over to Olivia's and have started staying here now thanks to her. I got up in my cropt vest and shorts and headed to the kitchen to hear 'Body Groove' playing at the chorus which Olivia was dancing to.

"Morning" I said chuckling as I scared her from her dance, "Hi, do you want some pancakes that I'm making?" Olivia asked turning the radio down. "I would love to but the missions tonight and I want to be in fit shape" I said as Olivia's facial expression dropped. "Maeve don't-" "Olivia it's okay, Lucia taught me the basics and I won't be by myself completely as I will join the group when I start fighting, trust me I'm okay" I said trying to reassure her but it didn't seem to work much.

"I'm going to head to the gym okay?" I said as Olivia snapped out of her daydream. "Okay I'll see you later or whenever you get back" She replied. "Don't wait up for me as if there's a problem or they need help after I'll be back quite late" I said to which she nodded.

I've been at the gym nearly all day and it's now 7pm so I need to get back so I can change and go out. I walked back to our apartment and changed into black jeans, tight top and leather jacket to complete the whole 'girl on a mission' look.

I knew all weapons would be in the main building, and because most were out on this mission they would be gone by now. After leaving the apartment I quickly walked to the main building which was mainly empty, I went down many hallways looking for the label 'Weapons' to grab a gun and some knives.

I final,y found it and went straight in seeing all the weapons held on the wall. After picking a gun and some knives to put just under my top, I quickly went to my car, I got in looking at my phone as I had Jeremiah's phone location on mine, as we would use it if we went out and got lost.

Anyway I saw that they were driving to the base of The Black Spades which was Marcus Finland's name for his mafia. Starting my car I drove following them from a distance, once I arrived I parked further back to wait until any fight broke out.

I saw Jeremiah and his men get out and start placing objects on crates which I assume was bombs. They all started to head back until a full army of men came running through instantly starting a fight without even talking.

I quickly jumped out my car double checking I had my weapons and headed straight in, to say I was nervous was an understatement. I ran over as one guy started eyeing me up to fight, I ran over throwing a punch to his jaw but being returned as well although it wasn't to painful as I had gone through the torture of pain with Lucia.

After a while of back and forth punches I managed to knock him down, kneeing him in the face as he passed out and I moved onto another person. Another man ran toward me and threw punches although many missed, I punched his face as he fell to the floor but not unconscious, he grabbed my foot stopping me from attempting to move. I quickly pulled out my knife stabbing his arm to stop him and he install removed it with a groan of pain.

I grabbed my knife stabbing a few more men and women until one woman came over and was really strong. I was tired however she wasn't, she flipped my over her shoulder making me hit the hard concrete. I got back up as she pulled out a knife stabbing my arm as I screamed quietly in pain, I quickly got up once she removed it, pulling out my gun and instantly shooting her.

I ran to another man while in pain from my arm however he punched my jaw hard knocking me to the ground and pulling out his gun. Just as I though I was going to get shot he fell to the ground with blood oozing out his chest. I turned to see Colton running and grabbing me to pull me up. We ran around a corner to be hidden from the commotion.

"What are you doing here?! Have you lost your mind!?" Colton shouted loudly marking me jolt a little. "Get out of my way can't you see I'm fighting!" I shouted back getting up and running to the fight ignoring whatever Colton was trying to say.

I ran into a man instantly punching him as he did the same back. We fought for a while until he pulled out a gun shooting my leg. Straight after I grabbed myself gun shooting him in the head before the pain broke out.

I saw in the corner of my eye Parker starting to struggle as there were three men attacking him, I ran over shooting them one by one. "Maeve!?" Parker shouted turning his head exhausted. "Not now" I said running over to a woman punching her hard in the face and knocking her out.

Everyone seemed to be fighting however the numbers from the Black Spades had decreased massively. I saw Jeremiah fighting harshly however was no attempt as the other man was punching him hard to the stomach.

I ran over punching the guy across the face before he returned it knocking me to the ground. This man was a much better fighter than everyone else I had fought. I assumed this was Marcus Finland. He punched Jeremiah making him fall to his knees as Marcus gripped my hair yanking me up.

"Ah Maeve, I've been waiting to meet you" Marcus said as the others were now running from a distance to us. "Don't you just hate to see Jeremiah all bruised up" he said holding my jaw to see Jeremiah. "If your going to kill me at least do it without that I front of me" I said talking about Jeremiah. I cared about Jere although I couldn't let that be seen otherwise I would be killed instantly.

"What? Don't you care about your boyfriend?" Marcus asked chuckling. Before he could say anything else I quickly grabbed my gun shooting his leg causing him to fall. "You bitch, you'll pay for that!" Marcus shouted running at me and throwing me against one of the crates causing my head to start bleeding.

I was exhausted however Marcus threw me then to the floor kicking me continuously to the stomach. I let a groan of pain out as he continued. I looked over to Jeremiah who could barley move.

All of a sudden Marcus went to speak however was interrupted by a gun shot causing him to fall. I looked to Jeremiah who was now getting shaken by Lucas and Noah however he was unconscious, my head started to feel dizzy as I passed out.

My head was pounding. I opened my eyes seeing Jeremiah laying down on another bed across from me. I quickly jumped up as the pain shot through me.

I limped over to see him asleep and connected to a few wires. My eyes teared as I watched him asleep on the bed, the door opened to see a worried looking Noah rushing over to me. "Maeve lay back-" "What's wrong with him?" I cried into Noah's chest as he held me. The doctor walked in, "Miss you need to sit back down before you injure yourself" the doctor said although I just started at Jeremiah. "Jeremiah will be moved now, he was only in here because there wasn't enough room in the other room as everyone was getting stitched up" Noah said which I didn't care about but only the fact that he was moving.

"No keep him in here it's fine" I practically begged. "No Maeve, you'll-" "I'll what!? What wrong with him just tell me that!?" I shouted cutting Noah off. "He's in a coma okay!" Noah shouted back in anger instantly regretting telling me.

"What?" I said in a whisper as I walked to Jeremiah. "Maeve he'll be-" "What if he's not" I said interrupting him. "He's strong he'll be fine" Noah said as some more tears escaped my eyes. "Can I just be by myself" I said as Noah nodded, walking out of the room. I lent over to hug Jeremiah ignoring the pain I was feeling from the bruises that I know had already formed on my stomach.

I stood up standing next to his bed, and taking to him even though he probably couldn't hear me. I spoke about my real feeling towards him and the whole plan I made to fight with them just wishing he could actually hear me.

After a while Hailey walked in although I ignored her, facing Jeremiah. "Maeve?" Hailey said standing at the end of the bed. "Yes" I said holding in my tears. "I'm sorry, for everything" Hailey blurted out. "It's okay" I said not wanting to face her as I knew I would cry. "You missed seeing Kenzie growing but more importantly you missed the people that should have been around you when you were shot" Hailey said.

"I didn't deserve to be around you guys, don't you get it that's why I left!" I said turning to face her while tears welled up in my eyes. "You did, you were just afraid. Afraid to mess things up" Hailey said which was truthfully the reason. "What does it matter now, Jeremiah's in a coma and Kenzie doesn't remember me" I said turning back to Jeremiah laying there asleep.

"But that can change, nobody cares about what's happened in the past, we all just want you to be happy" Hailey said embracing me in a hug as I broke down.

Shortly after Hailey left the doctors came to take Jeremiah to the room across from mine saying that I could visit him when i wanted.

It's now midnight and I can't sleep, all I can think about is, is it my fault Jeremiah's hurt? And if he's okay. I heard the door open as I turned to see Parker stood in the doorway after closing the door.

"Maeve?" He asked sounding nervous. "Yes" I said as he came closer. "Can we just go back to how it was? When we would watch Ginny and Georgia and fight over the popcorn" Parker said as the memories flooded back in. "I would like that" I said as Parker came closer giving me a hug. "I'm sorry" he said to which I just hugged him tighter.

"Don't tell Lucas I told you this but he's got a girlfriend although he doesn't like using that term" Parker said as I smiled happily. "Really?" I said excitedly. "Yes" Parker chuckled back. "Do you have your eye on anyone?" I asked Parker, "No not really i mean i would like to but this lifestyle I live, I would just be worried every minute that she's safe" Parker said which I understood as you would be putting the person you love in danger 24/7.

"I understand" I said smiling at Parker. "You should get some sleep" Parker said changing the topic. "Yes, I'll see you later" I said as Parker walked out leaving me by myself as I fell asleep with Jeremiah on my mind.

1 week later "Morning" I heard a voice say as I woke up. I turned to see Louis sat there. "Hi" I said as he passed me a tray of breakfast as we were still in the mansion we were just on a different floor with basically a hospital. "Is Jeremiah okay?" I said as yesterday's events dawned back on me. "He's stable" Louis said not sure how to answer. I exhaled not realising I was holding my breath.

"Can I see him?" I asked nervously as I wasn't sure if he would agree. "Sure" Louis said as he helped me out of bed and I limped to the room across from mine. I walked in to see a fewer amount of wires attached to Jeremiah which was a relief. "Do they know when he's going to wake up?" I said holding back my tears. "No but they believe it will believe it will be today or tomorrow" Louis said to me. I walked over to the chair next to Jeremiah and sat on it watching him.

"I think I might stay here until he wakes" I said to Louis getting an unsure look back. "I'll be okay" I said smiling in his direction. Louis nodded and left, leaving me and Jeremiah alone.

I stood up caressing the side of his face, he looked peaceful but like there was something missing. I spoke a little to him, I know sounds weird but it didn't matter. I just hoped he would wake soon.

I wanted to see Kenzie but I mean I didn't want her to see me like this so I'm going to wait until Jere has woken and I'm looking somewhat appropriate.

All day people came in and out even Lucia and Olivia stopped although Olivia did most the talking. I felt lonely without Jeremiah and wasn't sure what to do when he woke but one things for sure that I've learnt no more planning as it always end up bad.

It now 9:10pm, Noah walked through the door as I was sat their watching Jeremiah, "Come on, you need to rest, you can see Jeremiah tomorrow" Noah said as I got up holding hand, however when I was about to leave I felt Jeremiah's hand squeeze mine.

I turned to see his face changing expression, "Noah get the doctor!" I said worried as he ran out quickly looking for a doctor. "Jeremiah?" I said as his eyes started to flutter open, "M-Maeve?" Jeremiah's voice was croaky from not talking. "Shh it's okay the doctors coming now" I said worryingly

"M-Maeve I heard W-what you said" Jeremiah said confusing me. "What?" I said holding his hand. "That d-day when you found out I-I was in a coma" Jeremiah said and I instantly felt embarrassed. "Okay, I'll get you some water when the doctor gets here" I said trying to avoid the topic as Jeremiah looked hurt.

The doctor came in checking he was ok which he was while I went to get Jeremiah some water. I can't believe he heard me say some of the things I said. I walked in and Jeremiah was with Grayson while they spoke, as I entered I noticed Jeremiah was now sat up and they were both looking at me.

"I got your water" I said feeling a little embarrassed. "Thanks, I need to speak to you in a second" Jeremiah said taking the water from my hands. "Okay just let me go get dressed" I said which he nodded to and I left.

Olivia had brought me some clothes as everything was at hers. I quickly changed into a tight long sleeve top and some shorts, throwing my hair in a bun and walking back to Jeremiah.

I walked in the room sitting on the chair I was previously in. "What did you want to speak about?" I asked looking to see Jeremiah. "What injuries did you get?" He asked scanning my body, "Only a stab wound and shot wound with some bruises" I said. "I'm sorry I didn't help you I-" "It's okay you were hurt like everyone else" I said cutting him off.

"Why did you follow us out and start fighting?" Jeremiah asked sounding disappointed. "I was going to join the mafia" I said while Jeremiah scrunched his eyebrows together. "Why would you want to do that?" He asked. "I guess I wanted a reason to stay in your life" I said looking to the ground.

"I understand but your not joining the mafia" Jeremiah said to which I nodded my head in agreement. I got closer about to explain something. "Jeremiah I-" but was cut off when he smashed his lips onto mine leaving me in shock until I carried on in sync with him.
