"So...why is she here?!" Anna exclaimed, freaked out.

It was lunch time, and we were all sitting at our usual table, except now we had one new addition.

Sapphire! She decided to sit next to us. And to say everyone was shocked, was an understatement.

The scene of their jaws dropping was hilarious.

I was also a little shocked.

"We're friends now." I clarified.

We really were! Earlier I claimed the mission, giving me the 80 AP it promised. Then when I checked the [Affection] tab, Sapphire was now in there with an Affection of 53!

Honestly, it's higher than I thought it would be. It's only the day after the challenge, and she almost thought of me as a best friend. Awesome!

"How does that even happen?!" Anna yelled.

"..." I wasn't exactly sure how to answer that either. When we fought, she absolutely hated me. I don't know what caused the sudden turn around.

"Thanks for the book." Sapphire suddenly stated, pulling out the book about Dragons and handing it to me.

"Well, I figured you would like to know." I replied, putting the book away.

All of the sudden I felt someone staring daggers at my back. Sweating, I turned around to see both Anna and Angela staring at Sapphire and I with dangerous faces.

It's just a book! Calm down!

"Are they always like this?" Sapphire asked, referring to Anna and Angela.

"They are." Sighed John. "But it seems you stopped their rivalry."

"They'll open up in time." I said, trying to make Sapphire feel better.

"Alright." She shortly replied, starting to eat her sandwich again. "Oh, and what's with Sharky glaring daggers at me?"

"He's not. He's just trying to figure out how to talk with you." I answered.

"What?" She asked, confused.

"He's shy." I clarified.

"He looks like he wants to kill me." Sapphire argued.

"H-hello...It's nice to meet you." Brutus nervously said in his deep, reverberating voice. His voice did not match the way he said it at all.

"Oh, I guess he was just shy." Sapphire thought aloud, slightly shocked. "I thought he was trying to pick a fight, like that one guy earlier."

"That one guy earlier?" I wondered.

"Yeah. This cocky guy thought 'since a human beat her, she's now weak' and tried to take me on. I wiped the floor with him." Sapphire stated.

"Yeah...I just had luck..." I sheepishly replied, scratching the back of my head.

"It wasn't luck. Just being smart." Sapphire argued, surprising me.

She's arguing for me?!

"Oh...thanks." I honestly replied, shocked.

"This is unacceptable!" Anna suddenly shouted, slamming her hands on the table.

"Why are you two so lovey-dovey!" Angela yelled, pointing at Sapphire and I.

"Sorry, but I don't see him that way. Only as a friend." Sapphire stated, waving her hand uncaringly.

Ouch, that hurts. But at the same time I'm relieved. I don't think I could handle you too Sapphire.

"Wait wait wait. Why are we here?" John suddenly asked. "Today's Sunday."

"Oh yeah..." Everyone muttered.

"..."

"How did we just now figure this out? There's literally nobody here!" Sapphire yelled. "And who was the one who sent the text in the group chat to come here anyway?!

John looked away, whistling.

"You!" She growled, pointing at him.

"Sapphire?" A voice suddenly called out, cutting Sapphire off. The person whom the voice belonged to entered the cafeteria. "Oh! There you are!"

"Oh, hey Krystal." Greeted Sapphire, turning to the voice.

"Krystal?! The Krystal?!" Hissed John in disbelief.

"Who's Krystal?" I asked. What's got you so worked up?

"Krystal is the third strongest student here, but THE most popular student!" John exclaimed.

"What are you doing here?" Asked Krystal, approaching us.

She had long, light blond hair which reached the middle of her back. She had pretty, shining blue eyes. What catches the most attention was the two fox ears on her head, and the four fox tails behind her. Also, she was really pretty.

"Hanging out with these idiots who forgot that today was Sunday." Sapphire pointed out.

"Are these your new friends?" Krystal asked.

Sapphire glanced at me. We were friends, but the others...?

Me and the others nodded at her, causing her to let out a small smile. "Yeah, they are."

"That's great!" Krystal exclaimed, suddenly pulling Sapphire into a hug. "I still remember the days when you refused to be my friend!"

"Let go of me!" Yelled Sapphire.

Krystal released Sapphire, before examining the group. Her eyes landed on me, slightly widening.

"You're the human!" She gasped. "I'm surprised! I didn't think Sapphire would get along with you after..."

"Well, we worked some things out." I sheepishly replied.

"Well, thank you!" She said, winking at me and blowing me a kiss.

[Charm Negated] a robotic voice rang in my head.

Everyone stared at me shocked. What? What's with those looks? Even Sapphire's jaw is dropped, and she's barely ever surprised!

"No one has resisted her charm before..." Sapphire muttered in disbelief.

Charm? Did she just try to charm me?! Of course, that's why that robotic voice...

"Is that why you're so popular? Because you can charm?" I asked Krystal, my eyes slightly narrowing.

John burst out laughing from behind me.

Krystal shook out of her stupor. "No, it isn't. I really only use it to play some tricks~" she replied.

"She's not lying." Sapphire added. "And I wouldn't be friends with her if she was a bad person."

"Besides, I already have a boyfriend." Krystal continued.

"I still don't like that guy..." Sapphire muttered.

"Come on, he's not that bad!" Whined Krystal.

"Sorry." I sheepishly replied, embarrassed. "I shouldn't have assumed..."

I feel so bad now!

"No, it's fine." Smiled Krystal. "Anyways, it's nice to meet you. I'm Krystal Fox."

"I'm Jack Walker." I said, introducing myself.

Wait, her name is Krystal Fox...

I was being sarcastic.

"John Webb." John stated.

"Anna Webb." Anna greeted.

"B-Brutus Hai..." Brutus nervously stated.

"Angela Ignis." Angela said.

"Sapphire Caer." Sapphire added.

"Why did you join in?" John asked.

"You don't know my last name." Sapphire replied.

"Well, it was nice meeting you!" Krystal replied.

"Have you eaten yet?" I asked Krystal. "You're free to join us if you'd like."

"How bold, to invite the most popular girl in school to lunch..." Gasped John.

Anna and Angela grit their teeth.

It's not like that!

"Sure!" Krystal replied. "Just let me get some food!" She walked off.

"You better not be making moves on her." Sapphire said, glaring at me.

"I'm not! I'm not, I swear!" I frantically replied.

"Good." Sapphire shortly replied.

"He should be giving me that attention..." I heard Anna grumble. "I want to go on another date..."

I'm sorry Anna! We'll go on one later, I promise!

After all, I did somehow make you fall for me. I'm going to take responsibility.

"You've already been on a date?!" Angela hissed at Anna.

Oh, I should take Angela on one soon as well...

Anna stuck her tongue out at Angela, causing Angela leaped at Anna. They fell onto the floor, engaging in a cartoonish tussle.

"Never mind, the rivalry is back..." John stated, sweatdropping at the two.

"They aren't trying to hide it anymore..." Brutus observed.

"Hey, aren't you going to date one? You have both of them smitten over you." John asked.

"Well, I'm afraid if I date one, I'll be killed by the other." I admitted.

They may be cute and cuddly, but they are also dangerous, vicious, and scary.

"What are you, an indecisive harem protagonist?" John retorted.

"Sometimes I wonder that myself..." I replied.

"Idiot." I heard Sally whisper in my head.

Oh, so you ARE still alive!

Krystal came back, sitting next to Sapphire.

"Uh, what are they doing?" Krystal asked, pointing towards Anna and Angela.

"Would you believe if I said they're dancing?" I joked.

Krystal giggled. "No, I wouldn't."

Sapphire gave me a glare. Seriously, I'm not going for her! I just want to be her friend!

"They're fighting over their love for Mr. Obtuse over here." John stated.

"Hey!" I yelled.

"Oh, so you're quite the player, huh~" Teased Krystal.

"I didn't try to..." I muttered, placing my head on my hands in despair.

Eventually Anna and Angela sat back up, multiple scratches upon their skin.

"You stopped? I thought it would have lasted longer." John replied.

"For now, we have come to a truce." Anna stated. "Because there are bigger enemies."

"You sat that cause you're flat." John retorted Uber his breath. "And that truce won't last for long."

"You!" Anna yelled, punching her brother on the top of his head.

"Ow! You wanna go?!" Yelled John.

The two of them started to bicker.

Ah, this brings back memories from before all this crazy stuff happened. The nostalgia...

"This is quite the interesting group you have become friends with Sapphire~" Krystal observed, grinning in delight.

"Well...yeah." Sapphire shortly responded. "Thanks to Jack."

"I didn't really do much though..." I replied.

Really, all I did was give Sapphire a book. And become her friend.

Krystal giggled. "You're interesting. Would you like to be friends?" She asked me.

"I would love to!" I replied, smiling.

Yes! The mission!

Sapphire glared at me again. Seriously, I'm not aiming for her! It's not like that!

"Of course, Host." Sally replied, claiming the mission for me.
