Another day, another lunch.

With fruit snacks of course. Don't judge me, I love them.

"You love fruit snacks too much." Sapphire commented, staring at my plastic tray.

"No I don't." I replied. "I love them the perfect amount. They're amazing!"

"You have three packs of them..." Sapphire replied, sweatdropping.

"So?" I replied, munching on my fruit snacks.

"Hey guys!" I heard Krystal greet, walking over.

She had someone with her, and upon seeing them Sapphire growled a little bit.

"This is my boyfriend. Duncan, these are some of my other friends." Krystal stated, smiling.

Oh, her boyfriend is D-

Her boyfriend is Duncan?!

What?! I saw everybody else's jaw drop except for Sapphire.

"The most popular boy in school?!" John gasped, shocked.

It seems that nobody else knows his true nature except for me...and maybe Sapphire. She did say that she didn't like Krystal's boyfriend, and now I know why.

He smiled at us nicely. "It's nice to meet you."

I smiled sweetly back at him. "It's nice to meet you as well."

He politely started to converse with us, but I could tell it was a facade. I saw the small glare he would give me whenever nobody else was looking. He knows that I know his true nature.

We both knew we were playing a farce.

I've only been friends with Krystal for a week now, but I know that she wouldn't date a jerk like him. At least, she wouldn't date one if she knew she was.

Krystal's a good person. Duncan isn't.

Duncan looked at his watch. "Ah, I gotta go. Sorry princess." He said. Ugh...why the nickname?

"It's fine. I know how busy you are with getting strong." Krystal smiled.

He smiled, pecking her on the cheek. "Thanks."

As he left, I saw him motion for me to follow him with a threatening glare. I waited until he left before standing up, hoping I wasn't being suspicious.

"I got to go to the bathroom. I'll be right back." I lied, before leaving.

I exited the lunchroom. Where was he?

I was suddenly slammed against the wall, Duncan standing in front of me. Ah. There he is.

"You. Don't. Tell. Her. Anything." He hissed at me. "Or it'll be the last thing you do in your pitiful life."

"What's your game Duncan?" I asked.

"My game? It's much too sophisticated for a brat like you to understand." He sneered.

"Now you leave us alone, or I'll make you. Nobody will care if one human disappears from the world. Nobody would care even if one family did..." He said, insinuating something.

He just threatened my family. My family.

"You stay away from them." I growled.

"Then you stay out of my business, and I'll stay out of yours." He said, before releasing me and walking off.

Everybody in Arcadia is nice.

I've never hated anyone.

This guy?

I hate this guy.

I really hate him.

You've made a mistake Duncan. Maybe I only did become friends with Krystal to complete a mission. Maybe I've only known her for a week.

But I won't let someone sweet like her be led on by you.

Because I don't think you love her.

And you can't stop me with your little threat.

I stood there a little longer, before returning back to the lunch table. The rest of lunch went as normal, but Krystal sat with us today.

"Hey Sapphire, can we talk for a moment?" I asked her once lunch ended.

"...Yeah." She slowly replied, following me.

I led her out to the hallway. "After school, I want to talk to you about Krystal's Boyfriend." I stated.

Sapphire sighed a breath of relief, before completely realizing what I said and glaring at me.

"I'm not going after her!" I exclaimed. "But something's wrong with Duncan."

"You think so too?" Asked Sapphire.

"I know so. So can we talk about it after school?" I hoped.

Sapphire nodded. "I'll come over to your dorm. My roommate is Krystal, so we can't talk there."

"Got it. I'll see you after school." I said, waving as I headed to my next class.

I would have loved to tell her everything there, but I didn't have the time to.

Suddenly a mission appeared in my view, causing me to stop in my tracks.

[Mission] - Reveal Duncan's true feelings to Krystal.

[Reward] - 40 AP

[Punishment] - Krystal continues to have a terrible boyfriend and you can't do anything about it.

[Time] - 3 Days.

[Y/N]

Of course I accepted the mission.

I was going to do it anyway System. Only three days, huh? That's not a lot of time.

Sally, any ideas?

"I'm not an expert, but wouldn't getting evidence be the best? People only believe once they see. After all, Sapphire has already told Krystal that she doesn't like her boyfriend, yet Krystal is still dating him." Sally suggested.

That's smart. Thanks Sally. For once, you were actually useful.

"Hey!" I heard Sally yell in my mind.

Ow! Ok, I'm sorry! Just don't scream inside of my mind!

How do I gain evidence though...?

Wait! The time?! I'll think about it later! Gotta get to class!

Speed-walking through the hallways, I barely made it in time for my next class. I shouldn't get so caught up in my thoughts like that...

The next couple of periods went by quickly, and the end of the day was upon me before I even knew it.

I walked out of my class, stretching. Alright! It's finally time I can tell Sapphire...

Is that Duncan? He's walking with another girl, who isn't Krystal down the hallway. Of course, that doesn't mean that he's cheating. But it's suspicious. Especially since the girl's wrapped around his arm like they are dating.

I don't mean to be a stalker, but...

I'm following him. Look, I know that Duncan is a terrible person. So I might as well see what he's doing now. Just in case.

They walked through the school, taking the less crowded and more empty hallways. Suspicious...?

As they continued to walk I started to think.

Am I just being paranoid?

Duncan is a bad person, but maybe he does really love Krystal. I mean, maybe he's an ultra Tsundere? I know that real life tsunderes exist because of Sapphire, so it's possible.

But then they suddenly turned into an empty classroom, closing the door behind them. I peeked through the door's window, watching them as they sat inside the classroom.

And then they started snogging.

...

I take it back. He is that bad. No, he's even worse. He's rotten to the core.

I pulled out my phone, privately messaging Sapphire.

Me: I'll be a little late. I'm gathering evidence.

Sapphire: What the hell does that mean?!

I didn't respond, moving over to my photo app. Switching the mode to record, I recorded the two making out in the room.

"I can't believe this..." I muttered.

Sally did say that people only believed once they saw. That I needed evidence. And this would work. This would show Krystal how bad Duncan really is.

I feel a little bad. This is going to hurt Krystal a lot. But it has to be done. For her own sake, she needs to know who Duncan really is.

Their lips finally separated, and they started to say something. I couldn't hear from here though. Looking through the glass in the door, I noticed an open window on the other side.

Okay, this idea is a little strange, but hear me out.

I record what they're saying from the window.

"You're an idiot, and you're turning into a complete stalker." Sally commented.

Shut up! This is for good cause!

I went into the empty classroom next to the one that Duncan and the unknown girl were in. Opening the window, I crawled out onto the outside ledge.

Staring down, I was met with the outside of the castle, staring at the spiky, red rock filled island under me.

My heart started to race. Heights are scary.

But it'll be all right. This is for Krystal.

I slowly edged across the edge, before jumping over a gap and landing on the ledge by the window of the classroom that Duncan and the unknown girl were in.

Sitting right beside the window, I started recording again. This time the focus wasn't on the video, but rather the audio that I was getting.

"Are you sure nobody will find us?" Asked the girl.

"I've told you, it's fine. Nobody comes here after school." Duncan replied.

Well, I found you.

"What about your girlfriend?" The girl asked.

"Oh please, we both know she's just a trophy. It's only to boost my image. We haven't kissed yet and we've been dating for a whole month. But once I do conquer her, then I'll have another toy to play with." Duncan stated.

My grip around my phone tightened. I almost don't want to show this to Krystal, because I know how much this will hurt her.

But it has to be done, so she can be happy in the future.

This is enough evidence. I moved back to the other window, climbing through it into the empty classroom. I quickly left that area of the school as quietly as possible.

Arriving at my dorm, I used my key to open the door. Immediately upon entering I was met face to face with Sapphire.

She had her arms crossed and her foot was tapping against the floor. She looked at me with an annoyed expression.

"You're half an hour late, and to your own dorm. You better have a good reason for this." She demanded.

"Just watch this..." I replied, handing her the phone.

She watched the two videos, slowly getting angrier by the second. Once she finished, she handed my phone back to me.

"Let's go to the training range. I need to destroy some stuff." She furiously growled, stomping outside of my dorm.

Yeah, I think I need to destroy some stuff too.
