"I choose you." She said.
She just kissed me...
She just kissed me...
She just kissed me?!
The princess just kissed me?! What the hell?!
She's supposed to have a fiancé!
Wait...this party is so she can choose her fiancé...
"I choose you." Her words echoed in my head.
"Looks like you finally figured it out." Sally commented.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-
What the hell?! I met her once! And I have a girlfriend!
Sally! Check her affection levels!
"On it Host." Sally said. In front of me appeared the [Affection] screen.
[Affection]
Lilia Walker - 100 - Family
Annabeth Webb - 150 - Girlfriend
Angela Ignis - 100 - Love
Sapphire Caer - 100 - Love
Krystal Fox - 100 - Love
Dawn Dark - 83 - Crush/Fiancé
Why?!
"What do you think you're doing?!" Screeched Anna, suddenly appearing next to me.
"I hope you treat me well." Dawn replied, bowing down.
"Yeah-! wait what?" Anna replied, confused at Dawn's reaction.
"This is unacceptable!" Someone screamed, marching up to us.
It was another person our age, with slicked back black hair and crimson eyes. He wore a fancy suit and held a crushed rose in his hand. His sharp fangs revealed the fact he was a vampire.
"Ugh, it's Derrick." Grumbled THE PRINCESS Dawn under her breath.
"And why is that?" Asked Dawn, annoyed at the interruption.
"He's not one of us! He isn't a vampire!" Derrick argued.
Oh, superiority complex. Probably a vampire noble. He seems to be an arrogant young master from those novels I used to read.
"Agreed." Commented Sally.
Those novels...back in middle school during my dark ages...
"And since when was it a rule that I had to choose a vampire? I choose him as my fiancé." Dawn replied.
"He has a girlfriend!" Derrick responded.
He actually gave a good reason. Surprising.
"Yeah! This talk isn't over..." Anna added, narrowing her eyes at Dawn.
"I know." Dawn replied, responding to both Anna and Derrick at the same time. "But Kings can have multiple wives."
That was in the past! It doesn't work like that anymore!
"Not to mention there are multiple vampire families in the Dark Empire that are polygamous." Dawn added.
Wait, seriously?!
"You're going to lower yourself to share a lesser species like a demon?!" Screeched Derrick.
"I'm not a demon..." I replied, sweatdropping.
"You should go for a superior vampire like me!" Sneered Derrick.
Yes, completely ignore everything I say.
"Like I would go for a piece of crap like you. Jackson is miles better than you." Scoffed Dawn.
"Why you!" Angrily yelled Derrick. He rose his hand to smack Dawn.
"Hey-!"
Before I could stop him Dawn completely obliterated him by kicking him so hard in the nuts I think I heard them broke.
I covered my balls, cringing at the sight.
Derrick froze, became pale, then sunk down to his knees.
"I'm the Princess, and much stronger than you. Don't think you can boss me around." Hissed Dawn.
"My god..." I muttered.
Mental note; don't get on her bad side.
"Sorry about that." She then replied, smiling at us.
"How dare you..." Gasped Derrick, shakily standing to his knees.
He just doesn't give up. He looks like he's going to collapse any second though.
"Get her!" He screamed.
All of the sudden a bunch of robed people jumped down from the second floor, and a bunch more rushed through the doors.
How did they get up there without anyone noticing?!
"So you're the one who sent these guys after me." Realized Dawn. "You're asking for death messing with the Royal Family so blatantly."
"Anna." I said, glancing at her. "Give em hell."
Anna smiled. "Got it."
Her spider arms popped out of her back. She shot some webs out of her finger tips, catching one of the robed men. She swung him into another man. Another one tried to sneak up on her, only to be smacked in the head by one of her legs.
A bunch of men rushed Dawn, only to be absolutely destroyed. She grabbed one by the collar, hurling it at some others like she was bowling.
Another robed man tried to sneak on her, but she disappeared in a poof of smoke. It quickly faded, revealing a bat. The bat flew above the man, before proofing back into Dawn. She landed onto the man, and quickly used a martial arts move to get him onto the floor in a chokehold.
She's strong...
[Danger Sense]!
It rung in the back of my head, swiftly moving to the right, the fist of a robed man appeared next to me. I grabbed him by the throat with my demon arm, before throwing him across the room.
The increased strength from [Demon Arm Beelzebub] really is no joke...
"I'm going to kill you..." Someone growled from behind me.
I turned around, to see Derrick glaring at me.
"You sure recover quickly. I completely forgot about you." I blurted out.
"How dare you! I'm the great Derrick! The strongest vampire youth!" Derrick arrogantly introduced himself.
"I think the strongest is Dawn, cause she just kicked your butt. Wait, sorry, I meant your nuts." I replied.
"That only happened because of your trickery! A vampire princess would never go for a lesser being! She was supposed to be mine, but you stole her with brainwashing, and now you hide behind her like the coward you are!" Derrick screamed.
"You're starting to tick me off..." I responded, feeling annoyed at his stupid assumptions.
"I'm going to tear you apart and free her." He growled.
"Only thing she needs to be freed from is your delusions." I argued.
He dashed at me at surprising speeds. Not as fast as Dawn, but quicker than I expected. With the help of [Danger Sense], I swiftly dodged his attack.
He swung at me once more. Shifting my feet, I angled myself backwards as to dodge his attack.
"Stay still!" He angrily screeched.
In his hand suddenly appeared a sword. Swinging his sword, I barely ducked under it.
Where did that come from?!
He swung his sword at me multiple more times, attempting to dismember me. I dodged every one. His face contorted in fury as he saw none of his attacks connect.
"Coward! All you do is run away! Your waiting for your brainwashed minions to come help you! Too bad, but they're occupied!" He growled.
Brainwashed...minions...?
I glanced at my friends, which were busy fighting against other robed men and helping the non-fighters escape from the room.
Your saying that I brainwashed them? That out friendship isn't real? That I'm using them.
"You've just made a mistake." I hissed.
I felt as my one Angel wing released from my back and my halo appeared over my head.
"An Angel?! How?! They're supposed to be extinct!" Derrick gasped.
In a second I appeared in front of Derrick. I swung my demon fist back, before sending it straight into his gut, sending him flying backwards.
Quickly summoning the chain around my arm, I swung it at Derrick, letting it wrap around his leg. I swung him into the floor, leaving a small impact in the ground and smoke in the air.
Derrick staggered to his feet, only to meet a knee to his head as I smashed his skull. He stumbled back, allowing me to grab the sword still in his hand and repeatedly slam it's handle against his face.
"Why're you hitting yourself Derrick? Why're you hitting yourself Derrick?" I asked him.
Yanking the sword out of his hands, I threw it onto the ground. I slammed my foot onto the blade, snapping it in half.
"W-what are you?" He gasped.
"Someone you shouldn't have messed with." I growled.
I slammed my fist into his face, knocking him completely out. He crumpled to the ground, unconscious.
"Nice job Jackson." Commented Dawn, walking up to me.
"Thanks." I smiled.
"STOP!" A voice screamed.
Looking over, I noticed that the Vampire King had his arms outstretched, his crimson red eyes glowing. He snapped his fingers, and the rest of the robed men crumpled to the floor unconscious.
"What the-?" I gasped.
"My Dad." Smiled Dawn. "King of Vampires. Dracula."
Dracula exists?!
Dracula sighed, before setting his eyes on me. He started to walk over, Dawn's Mom following after him. I gulped in nervousness.
Please don't kill me...
He reached us when suddenly everything was bathed in a red light. Everything and everyone was covered with a red tint. Dawn looked upwards in awe, causing me to do the same. Above us through the glass roof appeared a giant blood red moon.
"It appears every midnight on October 31st. That's why we have the Blood Ball on this day." Dawn informed.
"It's beautiful." I replied, staring at the moon.
A smile formed itself on my face. It really looks amazing.
"It also increases the strength of every vampire." Dracula spoke. "Which allowed me to quickly knock them all out."
He turned to look at me. "I'm Dawn's father, it's nice to meet you."
He extended his hand out. I grabbed his hand, shaking it.
Ouch, his grip is really tight...
Ow!
I looked at him, seeing he was straining himself to smile. "Let's have a talk."
Oh god.

Author Note: Two chapters in two days?! Blasphemy!
Also, I swear I don't have anything against people who's name starts with D. Sorry to all the good Duncans and Derricks out there!
And please, let me know your thoughts on this fight scene. I personally think this is my favorite so far, and I only hope to improve.
