The town of Spotsville was very lively. There were so many people of different monster species hanging out, whether they were students or one of the locals.

Madam Webb and Sheriff Wyn are getting drunk together. Skullface is now acting as their bodyguard, having woken up and realized that I had beaten them.

Apparently that made me his boss, and Madam Webb requested that she borrowed him so that they could get drunk and have someone there so they didn't go too crazy.

The Devil Riders were now peacefully hanging out with the locals, a sight we wouldn't have seen a couple days prior. That one was still crying about his stolen bike, drowning out his sorrows at the bar.

The slimes were also now peaceful thanks to Boo. Most of them stayed at Oasis, but some came over to Spotsville and are currently be cuddled by multiple people.

Dawn was not one of them, who was currently clutching onto my body. She shakily held onto me, forgetting that Boo was on my other shoulder.

"They're so scary...what if one tries to eat them?" Dawn shivered. "They'd never know..."

"It's okay." I patted her back. "One day you will defeat this fear."

"What happened to make you this scared of them?" Sapphire asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I saw them eat a man alive. It was horrifying." She shook.

"Oh...yeah, I don't want to know what that looks like." Sapphire cringed.

"Hey...I won't let that happen to you." I smiled at her.

"A-Ah, right." Dawn blushed. She detached herself from me, clearing her throat and straightening herself. "T-thank you, I'm going to locate Anna."

"She's as elegant as ever." Sapphire dryly stated as Dawn walked off. "I have to say, that's the least elegant I've ever seen her before."

"Yeah, she usually is elegant." I agreed. "She was probably born that way as a princess."

"Yeah." Sapphire nodded. She shuffled closer to me, lightly grasping onto my sleeve. "And you're as kind as ever."

"You think so?" I asked, looking at her.

"Yeah." She replied. "Even though the Devil Riders did all of this, you've just...forgiven them."

"They didn't do anything too bad." I stated. "And I believe that everybody...no, most people can be redeemed."

"That sounds like you." She smiled, before muttering. "That's why I fell for you."

I felt my face heat up. I don't think Sapphire meant for me to hear that considering she's a Tsundere, but I definitely did.

She wrapped her arms around mine, hanging on to me and sighing contently. "I...I really like you...you know."

"I do." I replied. "But-"

"Don't finish it." Sapphire cut me off. "I know what you are going to say. And I know you rejected Angela as well."

"Ah..." I couldn't find any words. What could I say? She was right.

"You're such a nice man, yet such a heartbreaker." She shook her head. "I'm not giving up, you know?"

"Yeah...I know." I replied. "You deserve better."

"Maybe I do." She shrugged. "But I'll never know, and I don't care. Because it's you...that I...ugh, this is embarrassing."

She looked away, blushing. "Because it's you that I love. I said it, okay?!"

She started to stomp off, before turning around a face as red as a tomato. "I'm not giving up, okay?!" She then turned back around, continuing off in her embarrassment.

I've always known Sapphire is a woman, despite how tomboyish or Tsundere she is. But it finally just hit me that she really does love me, and really is quite a cute woman.

I feel so bad...

"It's fine." Sally tried to cheer me up. "You don't feel that way towards her. It would hurt her more if you dated her without loving her."

I guess...I just wish that she could find someone else...someone who is good. But with this System, that isn't going to happen. I'm having my doubts on whether or not this System influences minds.

I sighed, shaking my head. This is supposed to be my day to relax and have fun. I shouldn't be worrying about this stuff. I have all the time in the world to do that later.

"Jack!" Someone yelled from behind.

A weight hit my back as someone jumped on top of me. I wrapped my legs around their thighs, keeping them up. They wrapped their arms around my neck, hanging on. I was now giving her a piggyback ride and could feel her assets press into my back.

"Hey Krystal..." I sweatdropped. "What's up?"

"I just wanted to see you." She smiled, nuzzling into my neck. I stiffened by her extreme physical contact.

Her things are pretty plump, in the nice way...don't think about it!

She sighed contently, laying on me. Wait, did you just sniff me?

"Krystal!" Someone cried out, yanking her off. "What are you doing?!"

I turned around to see Angela pointing at Krystal. Krystal looked away, whistling.

"Don't ignore me! What was that?!" Angela demanded.

"I don't know what you mean." Krystal replied. "I was just embracing the man I love."

Hey! Wording!

"I understand that desire!" Angela growled.

What?!

"But you can't!" She pointed at Krystal.

"And why not? You aren't his girlfriend." Krystal smirked.

"She's not, but I am." Someone stated from behind Krystal.

"Ah...oh no." Krystal gulped.

"Anna..." Angela growled, narrowing her eyes at Anna.

"Angela..." Anna replied, glaring back at Angela. "What are you two doing to my boyfriend?"

"Possessive, aren't you?" Angela replied. "Don't you think that's a red flag, Jack?"

"Don't bring him into this. This is inbetween me and you." Anna replied. "You wanna fight? I'll fight."

"I'll take you down!" Angela yelled, tackling Anna.

They started to tussle on the ground. These two girls and their rivalry, I swear. Despite that, I do think that deep inside they care about each other.

"Are you sure about that?" Sally asked.

...I hope so.

"Jack!" Lilia exclaimed, running up to us. "They're having fireworks and a celebration tonight! Let's go!"

"Alright, alright." I chuckled, patting her on the head.

"Sis-con." Sally muttered.

I am not!

"Hey! What are you doing to Angela?!" Lilia exclaimed, getting into the fight.

Krystal tried to sneak off before being yanked into the growing cat fight by her fox tail.

"Not the tail! Not the TAIL!!!" Krystal exclaimed.

I...I should probably go. I've learned to never get inbetween two girls fighting before. After successfully escaping the stressful situation, I started to explore the System again, and discovered a couple of things.

[Affection]

Lilia Walker - 103 - Brother Complex

Annabeth Webb - 150 - Girlfriend

Angela Ignis - 110 - Love

Sapphire Caer - 109 - Love

Krystal Fox - 108 - Love

Dawn Dark - 150 - Fiancé

First off, the numbers for Lilia, Angela, Sapphire, And Krystal all grew. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not.

[Inventory]

[Deathbane Bow] Level 5 - A Bow made from the bones of a Grim Reaper.

[Iron Sword] Level 3 - An medieval European styled common sword made from iron.

[Combat Outfit] Level 1 - An outfit gifted from Madam Webb.

[Firebolt X] Level 2 - The newest motorcycle from the Firebolt line, known for their flaming wheels and intense speeds.

I also discovered that my [Iron Sword] had leveled up to 3. I wonder what happens when it's level increases further...? Does it upgrade? Unlock a skill?

It's something I'll have to experiment with. I'll also have to level up the Deathbane bow. And does an outfit upgrade? And if it does, how?!

After exploring the System, I hung out around Spotsville. Helped Madam Webb puke out her guts and become sober. Gave Boo some dog food that someone had, it didn't seem to do anything.

I may have made out with Anna a little bit, before having to run away as Angela discovered us and tried to fight Anna again.

I played Won with Skullface, John, and Brutus while a bunch of people bet on us. Skullface is actually a pretty chill guy. Of course though, I still had to defeat him at Won.

Wouldn't be the King of Won otherwise.

And then the time came for the fireworks. Everybody got prepared for the fireworks, whether they were students, locals, or Devil Riders.

Madam Webb got us on a balcony, giving us a clear view on the beautiful night sky. Multiple chairs were set out for us.

We sat down, staring up to the sky. Anna sat next to me on my right while Dawn sat next to me on my left. The others sat in the other chairs.

"All right, any moment now." Sheriff Wyn grinned.

Anna moved her hand over, intersecting it with mine. Her fingers wrapped around my hand, clutching it. Dawn did the same with my other hand. I was now holding hands with two beautiful girls as we waited for the fireworks to start.

And then we saw it. It flew into the sky, before exploding in a magnificent display of light. It truly was beautiful.

I watched as the light reflected off our faces. Sheriff Wyn, Madam Webb, Anna, Dawn, John, Brutus, Sapphire, Krystal, Angela, Lilia, and Boo. At least, a slime's equivalent for a face.

We all looked in awe.

"It's...beautiful." Sally muttered.

"Thank ya for everything." Sheriff Wyn smiled, looking towards us. "This won't be forgotten. You're welcome back any time, partners."

"Thank you." Madam Webb smiled. "We'll be sure to return."

Two months. It's been two months since my life has become so crazy. Filled with the system, missions, love, monsters, and shenanigans.

But I wouldn't trade this for the world. I love this life I'm now living, despite how insane it is. I never thought I'd be here, but I now am.

I watched as the fireworks exploded in the sky, filling the dark night with beautiful displays of color.

Yeah, this was amazing.
