Krystal's Mom had begrudgingly accepted the decision for Krystal to return to Hell High. However, she wasn't happy about the fact I became Krystal's fiancé. Especially after finding out that I was also Dawn's fiancé.
It wasn't easy to escape Kali, I'll let you know. I almost got my face punched in multiple times before I was able to escape. Thank god for [Danger Sense] and quick-ish reflexes.
"You should probably sleep outside again." Sally suggested.
Yes, I probably should. I have a feelings it's going to be a long, long time until Krystal's mother accepts me.
Speaking about accepting, something surprising is that Anna didn't say anything about Krystal becoming my fiancé. I expected something, but...well, nothing happened.
It was kind of strange. I'm a little worried, honestly. I should check in on Anna later.
At the moment I was hiding in the branches of a tree. Luckily I am quite adept at climbing trees, a skill carried on from my days as a child.
While I was waiting out the storm that is Krystal's Mother, I was currently checking the [System] to see if anything had changed.
First thing I noticed was that my [Fire Resistance] skill leveled up more, which mast be due to Newton and his foxfire.
[Fire Resistance] Level 5 - Any fire attacks dealt upon you deal less damage and don't hurt as much.
It's leveled up when I'm hit with fire, so maybe I can get Sapphire to help me level it up, because I do not like being burnt. It was not fun, not when I was burned by Angela's chains and not when I got a face full of fire from Newton.
Looking through my [System], I hadn't found any other changes. A nice thing was that my AP was at a total of 295, so I was slowly racking that up.
"Check the [Shop]." Sally suggested. "You're at Level 4 now, so a new section of the shop should have opened."
Right. I forgot about that, since I only used the shop once to buy the [Fire Resistance] skill.
Going to the [Monster Harem System 2.0] main menu, I clicked onto the [Shop] button.

Explosive Rubber Duck - 10 AP
More EXP stuff. I should probably start getting some of these to start leveling up myself, honestly...better to be prepared in case any more people like Newton appear.
Wait...Explosive Rubber Duck? What...?
"That's...pft..." Sally tried to hold in her laugh. "A...weapon.."
You kidding me? I can buy a bunch of Explosive Rubber Ducks to start throwing at people? Is it really that effective...? It only costs 10 AP...
"I have no idea." Sally stated. "You should try one out."
I don't want to waste the AP, even if it is only 10 AP. This currency is not easy to get...
A tab suddenly popped up in front of me, informing me of a new mission.
[Mission] - Level up an item to Level 20.
[Reward] - 70 AP
[Punishment] - Lose one random item.
[Time] - 2 Weeks.
[Bonus] - Level two more items to Level 20.
[Bonus Reward] - 1x Random Catalyst, 100 AP
[Y/N]
Woah...okay, level up an item to twenty in two weeks. That doesn't sound so bad, I could totally do that without having to take the punishment.
But that bonus...by leveling up another item to level twenty, I can get another 100 AP and one of whatever a catalyst is.
That's amazing! I'm definitely going to upgrade my items! This will be easy AP which doesn't involve trying to romantically seduce someone! I'm just going to have to do some grinding once we get back to Hell High to make the deadline.
Accept it please, Sally.
"Alright, on it Host. Does seem like a really good deal." Sally commented.
Yeah. Now let's look back at my items. Sally, take us to the [Inventory] please.
"Okay." She replied.
We maneuvered over to the [Inventory].
[Inventory]
[Deathbane Bow] Level 5 - A Bow made from the bones of a Grim Reaper.
[Iron Sword] Level 3 - An medieval European styled common sword made from iron.
[Combat Outfit] Level 1 - An outfit gifted from Madam Webb.
[Firebolt X] Level 2 - The newest motorcycle from the Firebolt line, known for their flaming wheels and intense speeds.
Alright, so we have a bow, a sword, an outfit, and a bike. I have no clue how you are supposed to level up an outfit. However, the others are simple.
Level up a bow by doing archery, level up a sword by doing some swordsmanship, and level up the bike by riding it. If I can do these in two weeks, that's 100 whole AP.
"For now, you should probably go see Krystal's Grandfather." Sally suggested. "Kali probably isn't looking for you anymore, and the Chieftess did suggest going there."
Right, forgot about that. Thanks Sally.
"No problem, Host." Sally replied.
Jumping down from the tree, I headed over to the Dojo. I hadn't been inside yet, but Krystal had pointed it out to me earlier.
Reaching the doors of the Dojo, I pushed the open to see a bunch of kids about ten years old in those karate robes practicing dorm punching motions while Krystal's Grandpa watched over them. I noticed one of the little kids was Krystal's little sister.
They looked towards me, wondering why I had just stepped into the Dojo. Krystal's Grandpa looked over, before seeing me and grinning.
"Welcome to the Dojo." He said, walking over to me. "Hey! I didn't tell you all that you can stop!"
The kids quickly got back to doing those air-punches.
"You're quite interesting." He stated. "You look like a little puppy with no bark, but hit the right nerve and suddenly you become a fearsome hound with a terrifying bite."
"Uhh...thanks?" I replied.
"Exactly. Nobody would think you'd be so dangerous." He snapped his fingers.
I feel as if that was an insult.
"So...what did you want with me?" I asked.
"I'm curious about you. I haven't seen someone so interesting in ages." He replied. "So, come on. Show me what you can do."
"You all can stop." He told the kids. "Move over to the side and watch."
"Yes Sensei!" They saluted, moving over.
He got into some sort of stance in the middle of the Dojo. "Come on." He nodded to me.
"You want me to fight you?" I questioned.
"No, I want a small spar." He replied.
"...alright." I nodded.
I walked over to middle of the Dojo, across from him. I got into some sort of boxing stance, with my arms up near my face. I didn't actually know the stance, but this seemed better than having my arms by my side.
He quickly lunged towards me with speed that a Grandpa should not have. With [Danger Sense] I barely dodged the attack, ducking under his fist.
I sent my demon arm up towards him in an uppercut, but he caught it. He caught it easily, frighteningly easy. He sent a punch which smacked me across the face, making me stumble back.
"Come on, you got more than that." He replied. "Show me."
I rubbed my cheek, annoyed. I got back into my stance, slowly approaching him. Sending a punch towards him he easily maneuvered around it.
In a moment he was behind me. Ducking down as [Danger Sense] warned me of a punch, I then blocked a kick with my demon arm.
I grit my teeth as his kick had a lot of force, but I fought the pain. I gripped onto his leg, grabbing it with both of my hands and flipping him. He spun in the air, before landing back down on his feet.
"Very interesting..." He mused. "I'll be blunt and say you are not very experienced. Not at all. However, you seem to be able to detect where my attacks are coming from before I even throw them. Your reactions are just too slow."
Ouch, but that's true. I've never really trained...
"You have a long way to go." He stated. "But that's probably because you have never seen fighting as a necessity. I'd change that since you're in Hell. While we're in peace right now, this place is still incredibly dangerous."
Well, he noticed it. Maybe I should focus a little more on getting stronger...I definitely can with the [System] and it's resources.
"Do you use any weapons other than your fists?" He asked.
"I mostly use my fists and a chain, but sometimes I use a sword." I told him.
"A chain?" He questioned. "What, you into S and M?"
"W-what?! No!" I sputtered out. "And there a children here!"
"What's S and M?" One curiously asked.
"Nothing you need to know...yet." Krystal's Grandpa chuckled. "Anyways, as for you...I want to train you?"
"Huh?" I replied, confused.
"You have so much potential, yet most of it is wasted." He sighed. "And we can't have that, now with you being Krystal's fiancé."
"Wait, how do you even know about that?" I questioned. He was here the whole time I had that discussion with Krystal's Grandma...right?
"Magic." He grinned, chuckling to himself. "Anyways, I think you could be much, much stronger than before. So whenever you're free, come on over here. I'll train you."
"Thank you...a lot." I nodded to him.
"Hah, no problem." He replied. "Now, let's do a little bit more sparring. We can train some more tomorrow before you leave."
I'm going to be sore tonight...
