3rd POV

Marley sat silently in Lea's lap.

Though she really didn't have an option since Lea made the decision to wrap her arms fully around Marleys small body her hands unconsciously running circles across her hips.

Marley watched as Demitri and Heather got ready for bed.

They changed in the bathroom but took all their jewlery off at the vanity.

Currently Demitri was brushing through her hair, as Heather was in the washroom.

By the time Demitri was done so was Heather so when they both finished Lea stood up.

Still holding Marley.

"I can walk you know,"

"Im well aware,"

Lea replied as she helped Marley stand up and grabbed her some clean clothes to wear.

Only to realise that they clothes were too big.

Marley's frame was smaller so the clothes would drape over her.

Marley snickered at this and shook her head.

"It's alright I can sleep in these clothes."

Heather seemed dissatisfied with that answer with her response.

"No they will be too uncomfortable for you, if you want you can still wear your pants they have no blood on them and we don't have anything that would fit you regarding pants. If you want you can borrow a shirt it might be big but it'll be clean,"

Marley shook her head again. She began making her way to the washroom and she opened the door but before she closed the door she said,

"No it's alright I'll just sleep without a shirt,"

Smiling to herself she walked in and closed the door behind her, leaving the shocked expressions of the three queens.

They definitely weren't expecting that answer, though they really weren't complaining either.

Eventually Marley walked out her arms and back still nicely wrapped with bandages.

Her shirt in her right hand as she used her left to close the door.

Lea had changed while Marley was in the washroom so now everyone was ready for bed.

The three gazed over as Marley walked up to them her, scars, bruises and upper body on front display with the exception of a bra and some bandages.

Demitri glanced at Marleys back, suddenly remembering what she saw when she talked with Marley the first time.

The spots on her back where her wings came from. The wounds that resided themselves into her skin, leaving a dark red and purple skin around the two gashes in her back.

Demitri frowned wondering how Marley could do anything with wounds like that.

They looked unbelievably painful and Demitri really didn't want to know how many times Marley was hurt because of them.

Lea noticed how sad Demitri looked so she tried following her line of sight and noticed quickly what changed her emotion.

She saw the bandages covering Marleys back, red blood seeping through two large circles on her upper back.

Lea wondered.

'Why does she have wounds like that, they should be from her wings, since they are naturally a part of her body, so why are they leaving such hurtful marks?'

Heather didn't seem to notice the other two's changed attitude though she found herself admiring the red head in front of her.

Everything Marley did seemed to entrance Heather. She knew it was because of the mate bond, but she couldn't help but admire Marley.

She couldn't help but love her.

Heather knew that when she met the other two that they were still missing someone.

Though they were unable to find her for so long yet here she is.

After all this time.

Heather smiled, she remembered her time with Demitri and Lea and couldn't wait to make memories with Marley as well.

She was excited for what the future would bring them.

Though before any of that could happen, they would need to connect with Marley.

They seemed to be making progress but there were still things they didn't know of.

Things only Ambree knew.

Things Marley wanted no one especially her mates to know about.

The three already knew that Marley had lost her family, but they don't know how, or where Marley was at the time.

It only pained the three more to think of the devastation Marley had to go through.

Though what got them really thinking was the timing.

Dragons supposedly died out years ago.

It was about 300 years when the monarchy fell, and the rest of the dragons went into hiding, so if Marley was the queens daughter she would've been alive around 300 years ago.

So what was Marley doing here and now?

Where was she that whole time?

How old was she?

From a normal person Marley looked about a year younger then Demitri, and that only raised more questions.

Heather decided it would be best to ask Marley about it another time.

She was clearly tired after fight and her injuries were going to make her weak and tired tomorrow once her adrenaline leaves her.

The three began to make there ways to there places in the bed, Marley stood there not really knowing where to go.

She knew the three were going to make her sleep on the bed, but she really didn't want them to sleep on the floor. So the obvious answer was for all of them to sleep in the large bed.

Marleys cheeks flustered a bright pink as she realised this.

She was way to inexperienced with anything to really understand these feelings but she could make a few good guesses.

Marley kinda did want to sleep in the same bed but her mind was telling her not to.

Why?

She didn't even know.

She seemed to not know anything anymore she was still so confused.

So unsure.

She didn't know what to do.

She wanted guidance

From who though?

Marley was snapped out of her thoughts when an arm wrapped around her upper back and the other on the crook behind her knees as she was lifted to to the bed by the one and only Demitri who was smiling innocently at her.

Marley was placed down onto the silk sheets her body morphing into the feathered mattress beneath. Lea to her right with Heather directly to her left and Demitri to the left of Heather.

Marley was about to protest more when the candle was blown out and the room was sucked into a beautiful darkness.

The only source of light being the paleness of the moon slowly seeping through the clouds and through the glass windows.

Marley felt arms wrap around her torso and upper body.

Her legs intertwined with the women around her. She was unsure of who's arms were surrounding her or who's legs she was touching. She really could not tell.

Though one thing she could tell was how it made her feel.

For once in her life after the accident Marley felt safe, and secure.

A strange sense of happiness rushed though her, as body heat radiated off of her and the other women making the room warm and nice for a comfortable sleep.

Marley found herself softly smiling.

At what? There were so many things.

So many factors.

Her smiled grew wider as she recalled her happy moments with the queens.

All leading up to now.

This one sweet moment of peace.

She felt protected.

She felt loved.

She was truly happy.

For once she forgot about the pain.

She forgot about the nightmares that plagued her mind with terrifying dreams of her past.

She forgot about the loneliness she once felt. All of it seemed to melt away as Marley began to fall into a deep sleep.

Her wounds healing instantly as her dragon scales cleared her skin and her body healing on its own with the fae powers.

Marley went to sleep that night a light smile plastered on her face as she slept in the arms of her lovers.
