3rd POV {3 months later}

For Marley time had passed by quickly. She had fallen into a content routine and was quite happy with her life currently.

She spends her days training with Ambree and taking care of the two children who she later learned the names were Freya and Analise

The rest of her time was well spent with her mates. The four had gotten close and Marley found herself comfortable with the three queens.

There was only one problem in mind.

It was nearing the time for princess Ambree to return back to her kingdom.

The choice was up to Marley.

She could stay with the three queens or return with Ambree.

Ambree was quick to assure that she wasn't upset if she chose to stay in Esteban with her mates.

So then came the question of what was Marley to the three queens.

Of course she was their mate but if she was to stay with them forever what would she label their relationship.

They weren't married and no one really officially said that they were dating.

It was more of an unspoken understanding between the four women.

Though of course Marley didn't know what the other three were thinking and the events that followed would make her realise things she didn't think she would. * * * The day was normal, sunny and bright. It was currently mid-morning And Marley was out with Ambree, Zarren, and Sovia who were taking a day off in the woods.

The queens declined the offer to go with, saying that they had meetings and paperwork to catch up on.

Once the group had made their departure for the day, Demitri sighed as she closed the curtains in her window, turning around to face her two wives.

Lea and Heather both on the bed as they decided to talk about the topic at hand.

"So what are we going to do?"

Demitri asked, sitting down near their vanity.

"I don't know, what if it's too soon?"

Lea had asked, she was skeptical about the whole idea, wondering if Marley was going to accept it or not.

"Well we'll never know until we ask,"

Heather said pulling out a small box from her dress pocket. She opened it up revealing the small content in the middle of the box.

"Besides we want her to be with us forever right? "

Demitri and Lea nodded

"We'll simply have to wait until she returns then we can ask her, perhaps later tonight after dinner,"

Lea and Demitri both nodded in agreement.

Heather looked down in her hand with the small box, and rolled her thumb over the jewel.

A small ring was in the middle. A ring that would ask the question to Marley

'Will you marry us?'

It was a big deal and the queens wanted Marley to fully comfortable with them before they popped the big question.

Eventually the day turned into night and the group of friends returned form their adventures. The queens went to greet their mate as she entered the palace. Marley smiled immediately once she saw them and hugged Lea as she was the one to approach first.

After hugs and welcome we're exchanged the group got ready to go to dinner but before Marley could walk to the dinning hall Demitri had tugged on her arm, asking her to stay behind.

Marley looked back and noticed the three their faces seemed somewhat tense and strange to Marley.

"Is everything alright Demitri,"

Marley eventually got used to calling them by their names (per their request)

"Yes I'm fine, but I-we would like to speak to you after dinner, you can change once you've finished eating and meet us in our room,"

Marley looked at the three, an expression of curiosity and worry, clear in her face, but she agreed none the less.

Dinner was normal, Marley sat with Ambree, Zarren and Sovia, while the queens sat at the head table.

Marley was worried to say the least. She kept taking small glances at the queens and would see their tense expressions never leaving their face.

Deciding she was full she excused herself, and left the dining hall, the rest of the royals finishing Shortly after.

Marley had returned to her room, passing by Kea's and Sorena's personal room on the way, they were currently asleep, after eating dinner early.

Once she made it to her room, Marley got out of her dirty clothes and put on her warriors jacket. She had brushed through her hair and applied some scents of flower on herself to hopefully wash a ways the smell from the woods.

'Is there something wrong? What could it be that they need to discuss? Does it have something with Ambree's return? Do I even know my own answer to the question?'

The thoughts swirled within Marleys mind. She was worried and hoped that nothing was wrong with her queens.

She quietly made her way out of her room and walked down the hall. Only she got about a half way down the hall before she heard the sound of glass shattering followed by a flash of bright lights. She slowly felt herself slip into unconscious hearing only the last sentence from someone before she fully closed her eyes

"Is that her?"

The voice of a man sounded

"Yes that's her the one Viran wanted"

The voice came form another man.

Marley felt sleep fully engulf her. . . . . "What do you mean she's gone?!"

Heather was standing in a meeting room, Lea and Demitri on either side of her.

"I mean that I have reason to believe she's been taken, I heard glass break near my room and when I went to go check I heard seen some men on horses running from the castle, No one can find Marley and there were burn marks on the wall,"

Ambree explained in a rush sentence her voice also angry at the idea of her best friend missing.

"Where do you think she went?"

Lea asked her hand intertwined with Heather's as she tried to calm herself and her wife down.

"I don't know! I don't know anything just what I saw"

Ambree was clearly just as upset as the three, everyone was tense it was about four hours past midnight and no one could find Marley, and with this new information the idea of her being gone was even more aggravating.

"Fine then, we'll send out watch parties, immediately and ask around in the towns nearby,"

The meeting was eventually adjourned and the restless group went their own ways to try and calm themselves and think of ways to find the dragon shifter.

The queens didn't sleep that night thinking of what could have possibly happened to their mate.

It was silent until Demitri asked in a sad voice almost as if she was broken.

"Is it my fault she's gone?"

"What? What are you talking about?"

Lea had asked running her hand in Demitri's hair trying to calm her wife down.

"I asked to speak to her is it my fault?"

Demitri asked once again small tears now evident on her face.

Heather and Lea were quick to comfort her. Saying sweet and encouraging words to try and ease her mind.

"Don't worry my love"

Heather said,

"I promise we'll fine her."
