Marley's dragon in the pic above ________________________________ Recap: Marleys voice came out in a whisper, she wasn't even sure if the person could hear her.

"Heather?" ________________________________ 3rd POV

Heather stared down at Marley, her eyes wide as she was pinned to wall, a sword pressed close to her throat.

"Marley!"

She exclaimed excitedly as she got out of Marley hold and leaned down and took Marley in her arms. Marleys sword dropping to her side.

Marley's eyes were wide, she didn't know if she was still sleeping and this was all a dream.

She could feel that small sting of pain as Heather hugged her in her shoulders and smiled slightly as she realized that this was real.

She dropped her sword and hugged back. Smiling weakly as she let herself be held by her mate.

Marley looked around as Heather let go only to be hugged again by another familiar pair of arms. Lea hugged her tightly as soon as Heather let go.

Marley winced slightly but didn't let Lea know that, she wanted to let her hug her as long as she wanted.

She was just glad to be with them.

Once Lea finally let go, Marley looked over and saw a group of guards with the two. She frowned slightly and asked,

"Where's Demitri?"

"She and the others are outside, dealing with the other men."

Lea said

"Others?"

Marley asked

"Ambree and Zion came as well"

Marley simply nodded.

"Are you well enough to walk?"

Heather asked she now noticed Marleys condition, her hands formed into fists as she saw the way Marley was treated.

Marley nodded

"I can walk but not fast,"

"Since we have you we can meet the others outside, the other guards are leading the men outside to hopefully trap them and get them to surrender"

Heather said as she began walking the guards following.

Marley let herself be carried by Lea who offered to hold her so she would not hurt herself more.

Marley closed her eyes and leaned her head onto Lea's shoulder and let her body rest in the arms of her mate.

She didn't care how she looked at the moment, she just wanted the warmth. Eventually Marley heard doors open and she looked up seeing that they were now outside, the night sky still on full display.

Marley heard her name being called as she was let down, she stood on the ground and smiled a little upon seeing her third mate.

Demitri carefully hugged Marley, her worried expression now a happy one as she was reunited with her mate.

Marley looked over at the scene. A lot of men were down, they were either unconscious or held down by royal guards.

Others were being dragged out by the guards. The fighting seemed to start subsiding.

Marley let herself be taken to another group of guards, they were talking to the queens, though Marley didn't notice them much.

She looked down at her wrist, the chain-like bracelet still hurting her. She looked down at the grass only to notice a shadow coming closer to her.

"What's that?"

Denitri asked, referencing to the thing on Marley's wrist.

"They made it to stop me from using my power, it releases energy back to me if I try to use any of my own power,"

Marley explained. Demitri looked at Marley, a sympathetic look on her face. She carefully held Marley's hand and turned her arm around so her wrist was facing her.

"Did they use dark magic to make it,"

Marley nodded. Demitri let the energy flow through her before she used her own magic to take the thing off. She opened her eyes seeing Marley rubbing her wrist where the chain once was. Now it was on the grass half burned.

"Thank you."

Marley said smiling weekly at her bruised wrist. It still hurt but not as much with the bracelet now off.

"Marley what else did they-"

Demitri was cut off by a shrieking sound. She and Marley frantically looked over and saw a creature. It was growing in size and evidently made out of dark magic.

Lea and Heather were by Marley's side instantly.

"Demitri do you think you can use your magic to defeat that thing!"

Lea asked frantically. The creature roared and parts of the building fell upon impact.

"No I've only just started dark magic and my own magic isn't strong enough to defeat a creature that big,"

Demitri said, nervous as she looked around for a way out. Marley also looked around, she noticed the faces of everyone, they were clearly scared.

She looked back up at the creature, fear reaching her mind as she backed away from the three, she was too frightened to think clearly.

'What do I do? No one else here has the power to defeat that thing and I'm too weak,'

'Your not alone Marleen~'

Marley gasped quietly at the voice in her head.

'Nina?'

Marley called out in her head, the nickname she had given her dragon.

'I'm here Marleen, I couldn't reach you earlier because of the magic, but I'm here now'

The voice of her dragon rang through her ears. Nara Drakaina, the name of her dragon, she hadn't heard from her in so long, Marley thought the dark magic had possibly killed the dragon.

'We can still win this Marleen, but you need to give me full control, if we shift we can be strong enough to defeat the creature,'

'But the three..'

'They'll be worried yes, but we have lives on the line,'

Marley thought over her dragons words. She hadn't shifted since she froze herself after the fall of her kingdom. She didn't want to hurt anyone on accident but the creature could do just as much damage if not more if it's not stopped.

'Fine,'

Once the words were said in her head. Marley could feel her power starting to surface, though Demitri could sense it.

"Marley what you doing?"

She asked cautiously, gaining the attention of the other two who also turned to face towards Marley.

Marley looked at her mates, she really didn't want to leave them again, she didn't want them to worry but she knew what needed to happen.

"I'm sorry,"

Marley whispered as she felt her wings grow in size from her back. Upon seeing her wings the queens got worried, they hoped their idea of what they thought Marley was going to do was false.

"Marley what are you-?"

Heather asked but stopped herself. She tried to step forward but couldn't, she looked down and saw that her feet and ankles were frozen to the ground by ice.

The other two were stuck as well.

"Marley let us go"

Lea said her voice heavy with worry. Marley could only look at the three, a sad smile made its way to her face before her wings started flapping and she got higher and higher off the ground.

Marley could hear her voice being called by her mates, as well as Zion and Ambree but she closed her eyes a drowned out their voices.

She flew higher until she was level with the creature. She let fire wrap around her hand, and she shot it forward towards the creature.

Feeling the burn on his face, the creature shrieked and looked towards Marley. After seeing that Marley had gotten the creatures full attention, Marley called out to her dragon.

'Nara Drakaina I give you.....full control'

As soon as the words were said in her head a light surrounded Marley, eventually the light got bigger and a roar could be heard.

The light eventually dissolved and gasps could be heard from bellow. The three queens looked up, their eyes wide.

Where Marley one was now flew a white dragon. It's wings fanning out and keeping itself in the air.

Upon seeing the dragon, the creature shrieked and started making its way towards her.

The dragon huffed and an orange hue could be seen within the white of the dragon scales.

The dragon used its claw like feet, to grab the creature by the shoulder and began ascending higher into the sky.

As the creature got higher, the ice around the queens began melting. Once they were free they made their way to where the creature once was, hoping to get a glimpse of what their dragon was doing.

Within the shadow of clouds and night sky, a bright orange light could be seen and loud roar could be heard. It echoed and bounced off the ground of the earth.

After a couple of seconds the dragon could once again be seen. She started descending lower until her claws touched the ground. She landed with a loud thud and it sent air flying.

The queens let the air move past them before they slowly made their way to the creature.

Upon seeing people Nara, growled, fanning her wings out and lighting fire in her mouth to seem threatening to try and protect her and her human.

Seeing the dragon get defensive the queens realised that she probably did not know what the three looked like, only that it knew that Marley had mates.

Sighing slightly Demitri got closer to the dragon, the other two following behind her.

The dragon growled louder and her face got closer to The three's, she started barring her teeth.

Demitri put her hand up slowly, the dragon was about to pull away from the touch when Demitri spoke up.

"Marleen?"

The dragon stopped movement when she heard the voice. She recognised it and knew it was one of her human Mates. She looked skeptically at other two after releasing a breath and nudged the side of her head as a sign of trust against Demitri.

"Marley?"

Heather spoke this time wondering if her mate could hear her despite shifting.

Hearing the second voice the dragon did the same gestured and waited for Lea to speak.

Realising what the dragon wanted Lea spoke up.

"Nina?"

Lea spoke of the dragons nickname, she remembered when Marley talked about her and explained her name and that she had given her dragon a nickname.

Hearing Lea say her humans nickname, she lowered herself fully and let her wings wrap around the three, she looked at them, nothing was spoken between the three and the creature but shortly after the dragon began getting smaller and smaller until she eventually shifted back into her humans mind, and gave Marley control of herself again.

Upon seeing their mate the three rushed to Marley's side, her warriors jacket still on and the rest of her clothes. But her wounds were still noticeably there.

Heather carried her now unconscious mate tightly in her arms.

The other two behind her. The guards got around to capturing all of the dark magic users that were involved and they started making their way back home.

Demitri, Lea, and Heather all shared a carriage. Marley still in Heathers arms as they made their travel home.

Demitri was on Heathers left and Lea was on her right as they looked down at their now sleeping mate.

Heather was running a hand through her now short hair. And Demitri ran a comforting hand along her scars. Lea had her arm across Heather's shoulder to help calm her down.

The three were calm as they rested in their carriage. They were finally complete.

They found Marley.

And this time they wouldn't let her go.
