Nicole's POV:
I woke up at 5 A.M. with the worst headache ever, headaches weren't my favorite things. I got out of bed opened the curtains to see that it was foggy outside with a little bit of sun shining through.
After taking some medicine to try and get rid of my headache i took a really hot shower while playing music from my speaker.
Music for me makes everything better it takes all of my worries away, it calms me almost, kind of like an escape from reality.
I had no other choice but to use music as an escape, i didn't really have a childhood growing up, my parents were always working and i'm an only child, what else am i supposed to do ? speaking of parents....my mother calls me.
i let the phone ring for a few seconds before picking it up and answering.
"Good morning Nicole, what are you doing?" she said while i rubbed my forehead from this terrible headache.
"Good morning to you too mother, i'm not doing anything, i just got out of the shower." i said putting my jeans on.
"Well what are your plans today?". "i have a tattoo appointment at 12, why?" i asked.
"God Nicole you need to stop with the tattoos you have too many, you're going to regret half of those when your older"
she's always said that and the more i get she doesn't even notice them, it took her two months to finally see my first one, is she blind or dumb? maybe both.
i huffed while i responded to her "at this point mom i could care less it's my body i can do what i want with it."
i could see she was mad after i said that but i didn't care she needs to understand that i can do what i want now, i'm 19 and living by myself.
"whatever Nicole just don't get any on your face and we won't have a problem. i have to go to work now, bye i love you" i rolled my eyes when she said that she's always working. it never ends.
"bye i love you too" i said and hung up the phone playing my music again while putting on an old band t shirt. Motley Crue nice, after that i did my makeup. and simple eyeliner look for today worked for me. and i was done. i put on my shoes, got my keys and headed out the door.
