His cold, lifeless eyes stared into my soul. And yet, accompanying them was a sad smile of acceptance, etched onto his face before his demise.
Blood seeped from the open neck, where no body was found. The blood stained the floor, slowly turning it a dark red.
And yet, he smiled.
...
I jumped awake, gasping for air. Fuck...another nightmare.
I rubbed where the knife had previously been stuck in my body. No longer was it there, and the wound was now healed. However, I now had a scar that would be there for the rest of my life.
Today's a couple days after we caught Isaac. After he was put into custody, they placed him into prison and he was disowned by the Aegis Family.
I checked the news to see if anything major had happened. Any day now should a specific headline appear.
"Former Prince Brutally Tortured And Killed!"
Well...fuck.
Close to what I was expecting...but worse...
In the anime, the Arc ended by Iris asking for Lily's help to sneak into the prison and murder Isaac, officially making her own twin her first victim and cementing her status as a yandere.
But now in this timeline it seems that not only was he killed, he was tortured before that.
This can only be because of me, and the changes that I made. Upon saving Irene I've now unleashed two yanderes.
Which means if someone crosses me like Isaac did, well...
Not good.
After what happened a couple days ago, all my brain is doing is telling me to RUN. But I can't, as much as I would want to.
I don't have enough money to move out of here, not to mention that Irene and Iris wouldn't let me leave. Both of them are stronger than me, so I can't fight them either.
I'm trapped.
There's no way to get out of this. I'm going to have to push through and make sure I survive. And the best way to survive is to make preparations.
The first semester of my first year at the adventurer high school is now over. Which means only one thing; Summer.
Arc 3 starts at the beginning of the second semester, so until then I have about one month to prepare. One school starts again, there are going to be multiple problems.
Arc 3 won't be as dangerous as Arc 2, but it ends off the first season of Heaven's Hell and it adds another yandere to Eric's roster.
After Arc 3, Eric ends up with three yanderes after him. I've now changed certain events however, and now only one chases him while two chase me.
Fuck.
I'll have to be extremely careful to make sure I don't get the next yandere to fall for me as well.
Which could be difficult.
Problem 1; Yui Yosei. That's the name of the next yandere.
What makes her so tricky is that I have no idea WHY she becomes a yandere. This means I don't know what flag to avoid.
I can infer that Lily becomes a yandere because of family problems and bullying, before finally Eric is the first person ever to be kind to her.
I thought Iris became a yandere because of the death of her sister and the betrayal of Cyrus, but I saved her and they both became yanderes anyway...
But Yui? I have no idea.
Yui is a famous idol who travels across the globe to perform in concerts, mainly in Japan but she also does tours over seas. Oh, and she's also a fairy.
Yes, a fairy. The only difference between a fairy and a human is that she has fairy wings that can let her fly, which she often uses in her performances.
She ends up having a concert in Tokyo, which is what kickstarts the third Arc.
Because of the previous assassination of Irene Aegis, Yui needs someone to protect her in case an attempt is made on her.
Enter Eric Arthurson, resident harem protagonist.
Since he saved Iris in Arc 2, and is growing stronger at a quick rate, the Principal basically hired him to bodyguard Yui.
And as Eric bodyguards her, a mysterious group of people attempt to kill her at the concert in front of her large crowd.
Of course, it doesn't work as Eric protects Yui and some of Yui's fans happen to be adventurers as well.
But it does put into question on whether or not they have connections with the late Isaac. It's never confirmed, but two assassination attempts on two famous people in the span of a couple months after a successful one?
Sounds too good to be a coincidence.
But after all is said and done, Yui falls for Eric, becomes a yandere, and also joins the adventurer school as a part-time adventurer-in-training and part-time idol.
And again, I have no idea why Yui becomes yandere for him. A part of it might be Hero Complex, but there's no extra added factors to push her to yandere.
While Hero Complex likely was involved with Lily and Iris, they also had external factors like, ahem, family problems.
I'm seeing a trend here...
Anyways, there's not really anything I can do about this Arc. Eric will become her bodyguard and make her fall for him. Simple.
Maybe I'll buy a ticket to the concert in case something different happens and something goes wrong, but I can't really plan anything at the moment.
So moving on from yandere fairy idol Yui, we have our second problem.
You might be wondering who is the main villain of this whole story? After all, every big anime needs its own big villain. What's the point of the assassinations? What's the big plan?
Well, Heaven's Hell does have a big villain at the end with some "genius" plan.
Demon King Lupercio.
Yes, that's right. Not a Demon Lord, but a Demon King. Emphasis on king. Totally original.
Anyways, he's the world-threatening threat that is going to appear at the end of the anime. He's the same Demon King that the Four Great Sages sealed away to save the world.
Yeah, he's trying to come back.
Apparently chaos or something like that is what fuels his powers, so after years of charging and sending monsters through rifts to cause chaos, he starts to act on his plan.
His plan in simple terms: use chaos to charge himself before he finally becomes strong enough to break the seal placed upon him.
So he has his minions start to attempt to free him, and a big part of that master plan is causing chaos. And what more is causing chaos than assassinating popular figures?
Eric doesn't realize now, but this is only the beginnings of the end of Demon King Lupercio's plan to, well, take over our world.
Unfortunately I don't know what happens. I wasn't able to watch the last episode before being transported here, and everybody said there's a controversial twist as well.
It's frightening. Not knowing if Eric and his gang succeeds or not, that's scary.
But I may have a way to give us a huge advantage.
The main thing that allows Lupercio to cause so much chaos, besides from the monsters, is a traitor.
And this traitor is a big deal. In Season 3 the existence of a traitor is discovered, yet the identity is never revealed. Maybe in the last episode, but until then it's a mystery.
But the traitor is someone in a powerful position. Someone who is at least on the same level as the Principal in political power.
This means that they can tell Demon King Lupercio about every major event and help him get his minions in to cause maximum chaos.
And now I think I might know who that traitor is. And if I'm right, then the all of the dots are starting to connect.
There have been many theories, but with a little bit of help from someone who's now dead, I think I figured out who the traitor is.
So there's only one thing I can do about the traitor.
I'll kill him.
I have to.
I stared down at my hand. It was barely noticeable, but it slightly shook.
I've never taken a life before. But I'll have to.
This could change everything. It could possibly save everyone. The world. I have to do it. This is for my own survival.
A knock on my apartment door shook me out of my morbid thoughts. I looked down at my apparel. I was wearing only pajamas.
Well, that's fine. I don't really care too much.
Opening the door, a certain first princess stood in front of my apartment.
"I-Irene?!" I gasped in surprise. "What are you doing here? No, scratch that. How did you even know I lived here?!"
"Connections." She plainly stated. She then grabbed onto my arm, slightly pulling me.
"Come on. Let's go." Irene said.
"Go where?! Stop dragging me!" I countered, digging my heels into the ground in a vain attempt to stay inside my apartment.
"To our home." Irene stated.
"What do you mean 'our home'?!" I exclaimed, worried about her wording.
"Aegis Mansion. As my future husband, you are going to be living there with Father, Mother, Iris and I." Irene stated, as if it was obvious.
"WHAT?!"
