The final day of summer break. Everyone has their own way to spend it. Me? I'm taking a leisurely walk through Tokyo so I don't have to deal with yandere shenanigans.
Today is September 2, one day before the second term starts. This is also when Arc 3 starts, as Yui Yosei's Tokyo concert has been publicly announced to be held on September 17.
While Arc 3 is on I'll keep training and growing stronger in preparation for Season 2. Season 2 is when it really starts to get dangerous. Even more dangerous than Season 1.
Hopefully I'll be able to go up a Tier, and also be able to master my next form of CQC. The Dragon Fist Style took a couple of months to master, but due to my Tier 4 skill Copycat, I'll be able to at least halve the time it takes to master another combat style.
Goku has started having me train in the next combat style, the Lightning Palm Style, apparently another style that originated from his ancestors.
How many freaking styles did they make?
The Lightning Palm Style sounds like something the Aegis family would use, right? Well, it's a hand fighting style centered on quickly disarming an opponent.
For example, disarming a man who has a knife or quickly hitting someone in the throat to make them an easy target.
Goku thinks that this style combined with the Dragon Fist Style could be incredibly strong. Honestly, I think so too.
I think if I train my ass off during this month of September I should be able to almost master this style and go up a Tier.
I really would like to go up a Tier. Irene is still at Tier 8, but Iris has advanced to Tier 5 now. Eric and Lily are sat at Tier 3, but they should be going up soon.
Eric ends up reaching Tier 4 during the events of Arc 3. With this in mind, it isn't unrealistic to believe that I could go up a Tier during this Arc without being directly involved.
This is so complicated...why does this world have to be so damn dangerous?
Especially now that Erica is living as a girl, that means I have no clue about what will happen to the yanderes like Lily and Yui.
I'm not sure how Lily feels about Erica now that she's found out that Erica is a woman. And I'm not sure if Yui will fall for Erica.
And I'm not sure if the girls are also into other girls. It's certainly possible considering the girls ended up agreeing to share Eric in the anime.
There's not really anything I can do about Lily. And even if Yui doesn't fall for Erica, then it's no problem for me.
No. Wait a second.
Yui has to fall for Erica. If she doesn't...
Yui is an essential part of Erica's harem combat-wise, and the reason for this is due to the fact that she's the only healer.
Yui isn't an Arcana user. She doesn't unlock her Arcana until she falls in love with Eric and decides to become an adventurer-in-training in order to stick close to him.
But despite Yui's late start, she quickly becomes essential due to her Arcana. Not only is it's Tier 1 the rare Holy element, but the whole Arcana is suited as a healer. There aren't many purely healer Arcana's.
As she tiers up, her healing abilities become better and she unlocks new ways to heal her allies. This could be essential to future survival. This means that Yui has to fall in love with Erica, or else we'd lose such a valuable power.
If Yui didn't fall in love with Eric, she'd continue being a full-time idol and never unlock her amazing support Arcana.
Damn it. Hopefully Yui goes for both genders and falls in love with Erica, or else that could be a good ticket to survival gone.
Having a good healer will definitely help in staying alive. And in case I get injured, she would be able to heal me, like how Rose healed me during the Ice Golem fight.
But Yui's would be even stronger and better as she tiered up due to hers being a purely healer support Arcana.
Damn it! Why is this so complicated?!
"Uh...excuse me mister?" I heard a girl ask someone in front of me.
A shorter girl stood in front of me, about a couple centimeters shorter than me. She wore jeans and a sweatshirt with the hoodie pulled up. She was trying to ask a man something, but the man ignored her and continued to walk away.
How the hell can you wear that in this heat? I'm wearing a short sleeved shirt and shorts, and I feel hot.
"Hey. You alright?" I asked the girl.
The girl turned around, revealing her violet-pink colored eyes. Her hair was hidden by the hood, tucked behind her head.
"I'm sorry. Do you know how to get to the plaza? I'm supposed to meet someone there." The girl shyly asked.
"Yeah, I know." I nodded. After living in Tokyo for a couple months I've found my way around. "You have to go down the block, take a right, take a left, take three more rights, and then take a left. It's about a ten minute walk. There's also a shortcut through an alleyway instead of going the three rights which cuts the time in half." I explained.
"...what?" She asked, confused.
"Want me to show you the way?" I sighed.
"Yes!" She excitedly nodded. "Please!"
"Alright then. Follow me." I said, starting to walk in the path I had decided.
The girl quickly followed me, walking next to me as we headed through the streets of Tokyo. We took a right, turning onto the next street.
"So what's a little girl like you doing alone in the middle of Tokyo?" I asked.
"I'm not little! I'm sixteen!" She pouted.
"Huh. You're the same age as me then." I realized.
I honestly thought she was fourteen or something...
We continued to walk through the streets, taking the planned route until we hit the crossroads. I stopped walking, standing in front of an alleyway.
"Alright. From here we can take three rights and then a left to get to the plaza. Or we can take this shortcut through this alleyway which will greatly cut down the time." I stated.
"I'll let you decide, since you probably don't want to go into an alleyway alone with a complete stranger." I continued.
"Well...I'm already late...so I'd like to do the alleyway to get there as quick as possible." She decided, surprising me.
"You should really be more careful." I sighed. "Come on."
We started to walk through the alleyway. It was in between two large buildings, and was quite long. We were halfway through before the sound of metal clanging hit our ears.
We turned around, finding three men behind us. The man in front held a metal pipe in his hands. They had multiple tattoos stitched onto their bodies.
Dammit...are these delinquents? How annoying. They must have followed us, seeing that we went into a desolate alley.
"Who the fuck are you?" I asked him.
"Doesn't matter kid. This isn't your business. Hand over the girl and we'll let you go." The man demanded.
"Look, this isn't why you go into alleyways." I told the girl. "Shady stuff happens back here."
I glanced behind us, where I saw two more delinquent looking people enter the other side of the alleyway, walking towards us.
"You're surrounded. It's five to two. Why don't you just hand her over?" Grinned one of the delinquents.
"Why do you want to kidnap a girl?" I asked him.
"For the money, duh." Another delinquent stated.
Human traffickers? Disgusting.
"Alright then..." I sighed, placing my hands up.
The delinquents grinned as the girl looked at me in horror.
"...Come at me." I grinned, giving him the "come at me" sign.
"Huh?" One delinquent asked, confused.
"If you want to take her, you'll have to get through me. Come on." I said, provoking him.
Five people. It seems that none of them have Arcana's, unless that pipe is one, which would be a stupid Arcana. This should be a piece of cake.
Let's do this quickly, so I can get this girl to her damn destination and then continue on my merry way.
"How dare you?!" A delinquent growled, rushing towards me and readying a punch.
Ah yes, the stereotypical outburst when one doesn't get what they want.
The man swung his fist at my face, only for it to be caught by my own hand. Keep in mind that the guy looked a lot stronger than me, and his punch didn't even hurt my hand.
Confusion and rage built on his face as he realized that I had easily caught the fist. I jerked his body downwards, slamming my knee into his stomach before kicking him away.
He slammed into the alleyway wall, sliding down incapacitated. The other four delinquents and the girl were stuck in a shocked stupor as they just saw a scrawny teenager absolutely destroy the buff delinquent.
This is the difference between a normal human and a Tier 4 Arcana user. It's pretty large, and this isn't even with me using the Arcana or my powers. This is purely from the strength boost that stacks up as you tier up.
"Who's next?" I asked, cracking my knuckles.
"Get him!" The leader delinquent with the pipe yelled.
The other three rushed me, quickly approaching. I ducked as the first two arrived, letting them slam into each other. Steeping away I grabbed both of their heads and slammed them together once more for good measure.
They dropped to the ground, knocked out. I picked one of the delinquents up, before throwing it at the third man. It wasn't as hard as you'd think. He watched the sailing body in fear, unable to do anything due to the narrow space of the alleyway.
It slammed into him, knocking him onto the ground and leaving him pinned by his own fellow delinquent.
"Ah!" I heard the girl yell.
Turning around, I saw the leader had grabbed the girl by the hood, pulling on her. The hood was ripped off, making my eyes widen at the sight before me.
Her hair was now revealed as an unusual bright pink. It was styled into two twin tails which went a little past her shoulders, no longer tucked behind her head.
It's...
...
Yui Yosei. The yandere idol.
...
This just got a lot more dangerous, in a lot more ways. These guys were likely hired by the same people who work for Lupercio.
And I've gotten myself involved with another yandere. Fucking great.
The man raised his pipe, getting ready to swing it down onto the struggling idol. I quickly summoned Loki, dashing at him and cutting the weak metal pipe in half before he could swing it.
"An Arcana user?!" He gasped upon seeing my weapon.
"Shut up." I demanded, slamming my fist into his skull.
He fell onto the ground, completely knocked out. Yui stood there, slightly shaking as she pulled her hood back over her head.
"Finish going down the alleyway, then make a left turn to get to the plaza. Then call the police." I quickly said, before running off.
"Wait-!" I heard her yell from behind me, but I didn't look back.
Why does fate screw with me like this?!
