"Hello! My name is Yui Yosei, and I'll be your classmate while I'm in Tokyo. It's nice to meet you." She smiled, bowing down in front of the class.

For the second day in a row, the class was shocked silent by the arrival of a transfer student. Even the teacher held a face of surprise.

"Oh my god!" Someone screamed.

A chorus of happy noises rang through the class.

"It's THE Yui Yosei!"

"She's so cute!"

"I can't believe it!"

"I love you!"

"Can I get your autograph?!"

"She's adorable!"

"I love her hair!"

"Huh?!" Gasped Kai, incredibly confused.

I glanced over to Erica and Lily, who incidentally, happened to be huge fans of Yui. Both of them seemed to be fangirling over her as they talked to each other.

It seems they still get along well, even after Lily's rejection. That's good.

Today I'm going to tell Erica that she and I will be the bodyguards for Yui. I still think it's crazy to have two first years bodyguard a famous idol, but in the anime they only hired Eric, so...

I think all the people on this world are just crazy in one way or another. It would certainly explain many things.

Yui walked through the aisle, before stopping at Kai's desk. She smiled at him while Kai looked at her, confused.

"Can I have that seat please?" She asked.

Like he'll just give you his seat-

"Yes ma'am!" Kai saluted.

Kai?!

He got up and moved to the empty seat behind me.

Yui looked over to me. "Hi Ken." She greeted.

Instantly I felt everyone's eyes on me. Fuck.

Erica and Lily's eyes were wide open, wondering how the hell I knew their favorite idol. Kai also had a similarly shocked expression.

All the other students were shocked silent before the boys started to give me glares and the girls started to whisper to themselves.

Yui...you've completely fucked my status as a mob character in this school...

A couple of classes passed, everyone still shell-shocked about the back-to-back crazy transfers. In between periods crowds would gather around the two.

And I may or may not have been questioned by the other boys earlier. I told them it was a random chance encounter. It actually was a chance encounter, but I left out the part about the attempted kidnapping.

The school bell rung once more.

"All right class, that's all for now." The teacher said. "Go enjoy your lunch."

Some students stood up, heading to the cafeteria. Others grabbed their bentos and went to ask Yui if she wanted to eat with them.

I was about to head to the cafeteria to buy my own lunch when the door was suddenly slammed open. The famous second year model student Iris stood at the entrance to the classroom.

Everyone froze, looking over at her. The second most popular girl (first being the "Ice Queen" Bianca), Iris was at a first year classroom.

"Ken! I made you lunch!" She stated.

The classroom was silent.

Fucking hell Iris!

"What?!" Everybody suddenly screeched.

"Hey hey hey, so not only was the precious Idol Yui not enough, but the Aegis Princess too?" One of the boys said, looking at me with a scary face.

"I vote he be sacrificed." Another boy stated.

"Boys, grab him. This is a grave offense." One ordered.

My male classmates started to surround my desk.

"Uh...I can explain...?" I stated.

I looked over to Kai for help.

"I don't think I can help you with this one." Kai replied, shaking his head.

Damn it Kai! None of you boys would want them if you knew their true natures!

"Ken!" I heard Erica yell. She grabbed my hand, pulling me off my seat and running us out of the room, rushing past Iris.

"Eric too?! You fiend!" A classmates cried out.

"Hey! Wait!" Lily yelled, rushing after us. Iris and Yui quickly followed us, leaving the room.

"Damn it Kage!" I heard a faint roar of boys.

After a little bit of running we stopped in the middle of the hallway by the stairs.

"Hi! My name is Lily, it's great to meet you!" Lily said, introducing herself to her favorite idol.

"It's nice to meet you too." Yui smiled.

Lily looked like her heart was struck by an arrow from the cuteness that Yui radiated.

"So...how do you know THE Yui Yosei, Ken?" Lily asked, giving me a dangerous stare.

"It was a chance encounter, and well..." I started.

"He's my bodyguard." Yui answered.

"...what?" The three girls asked, confused.

"I was hired to be her bodyguard after coincidentally saving her from a kidnapping." I sighed.

"Are you alright?!" Iris worriedly asked Yui.

"I'm fine." Yui shyly smiled. "Thanks to Ken."

Wait a second...you're calling me by my first name?

Erica suddenly giggled out of nowhere.

"What?" I asked, turning to her.

"It's nothing." She smiled, winking at me.

I looked at her confused, until I realized that we were still holding hands. Are you that happy to be holding my hand?

Wait! Could the legendary 'uncensored hand holding' be the key to placating a yandere? I'll have to keep this in mind for further evaluation.

"Hey, let's go to the roof to eat lunch." Iris suggested.

"Huh? Why?" I asked her.

"Well, I want you to eat the lunch I prepared for you!" Iris smiled. "And, we'll need somewhere not very busy since you're so...popular." She continued, glaring at Erica's hand intertwined with mine.

Well, the roof should be fine. It's the cliche area that every protagonist goes to and yet no one is ever there.

And so we all ended up eating lunch on the roof, with Iris shoving her bento into my lap so I could try it. Iris sat to my left while Erica sat to my right. Yui sat to the left of Iris while Lily sat to the right of Erica.

They had stuck me in the middle. Joy.

The bento was pretty large, making me wonder how much work she put into this and how I didn't see her make this.

Opening it, the food looked delicious. But it was then I had a bad premonition. The anime cliche is that the rich girl character always has terrible cooking, bad enough to make one sick. Could this be true for Iris...?

Eric always made his own lunch and didn't eat anybody else's, so I have no clue on whether or not Iris' food is a death trap in disguise.

I'll just have to hope.

Please...

I picked up the shrimp, before closing my eyes and shoving it into my mouth. Instantly my taste buds were flooded with rich flavor.

"It's delicious!" I gasped.

"Thank you!" Iris happily smiled.

Erica growled in jealousy.

"Can I try some?" Yui asked.

"Oh, sure." I said, feeding her a shrimp. It was very cute.

And then I realized my mistake as two glares pierced my back. Stop glaring at me when you're jealous!

"Ooh! This is so good! Did you make this yourself?" Yui excitedly asked Iris.

"I did." Iris nodded.

The girls then proceeded to talk to Yui about various topics. All of them seemed to like her. Lily and Erica were fans while Iris just got along with everyone.

While they talked, I looked at Yui through the corner of my eye. Something was bothering me about her. In the anime, her personality was VERY different.

I didn't think much of it when we first met since I didn't even realize it was Yui until her hood was pulled off, but now that we are acquainted and I've met her twice, it's strange.

Yui didn't have the "shy-girl" personality. The personality she always showcased was the "flirty and teasing" personality.

I'd think that would be how she treated her love (Eric), but she also teased and flirted with the girls, so it wasn't exclusive to just Eric.

Eric was the only male (unless Yui knew) however.

So...why was she so shy? Why was she acting this way?

As I finished eating the bell rung, signaling the end of the lunch period. We stood up, getting ready to leave.

Yui pulled on my sleeve, making me look over to her.

"What is it?" I asked her.

She brought her face close to my ear. "You should be more careful. Feeding a woman like that might give her the wrong idea, hm?" She teased.

I felt my face heat up as Yui backed up, grinning at me before turning around and starting to head to the door.

...eh?
