"War is coming." Goku randomly said, out of nowhere.

We were in the Taiyou Dojo, where I was training as usual.

I looked over to him instead of the punching bag. "What are you talking about?"

"I have a bad feeling." Goku stated. "I've had it since a couple of days ago when the Takao attacked. This ain't the end."

Well, you'd be correct. The Takao terrorize the streets for about two months from October to November.

Right now it's about halfway of through October, a couple of days since the Takao attack. The gang war lasts for a while, about a month and-a-half more. A lot more innocent civilians die.

The war finally ends when Goku and Amber tracks down the headquarters of the Takao leader, before going with Erica and her gang to take it out.

The Cult Of Excalibur also help out from behind the scenes. I haven't heard anything about them yet in the news or Underground, so I don't know if they've been created.

"Why do you have such bad blood with the Takao family?" I asked.

In the anime, it's only known that they are enemies and completely despise each other. I know that Goku personally knows the Takao leader from the anime, but I don't know how he knows.

"They...hurt my daughter a long time ago." Goku sighed.

They hurt Amber?

"I'll never forgive those bastards." Goku growled.

The door to the Dojo opened, directing my attention from Goku to a familiar blond princess elf that had just entered.

"Irene? What are you doing here?" I asked.

Irene pulled something out of her pocket, throwing it to me. Catching it in my hands, it was a shiny silver phone.

No way?!

"You fixed it?!" I gasped.

Irene nodded. "Turn it on."

Turning it on, I was met with a map and a single blinking red dot. Did they actually pinpoint the location?!

"That's the triangulated location based on the call's history. Luckily it was stored and able to be tracked." Irene stated. "They'll be there, unless they've moved in the time since the transmission."

Wow...this is...amazing!

"Who are you tracking, and why?" Goku asked. "I don't want you two getting into trouble."

"It's the location of the shark-riding Takao grunt's leader." I stated.

Goku's eyes widened. "Seriously?!"

He jumped to his feet, quickly walking towards me. He grabbed the phone, staring at it before he growled in anger.

"Of course they'd be there." He scoffed, handing the phone back to me. "But how?"

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"That was their old house. After they did...that to Amber, I went after them but they fled. I ended up buying the house." Goku explained.

"I never did anything with it, and nobody should be there." Goku stated. "Especially not them."

"A mole." I thought. "We likely have a mole."

I don't remember one being mentioned in the anime...I'll have to be careful.

"Afraid so." Goku sighed. "I'll deal with that later. We need to stop them, now, or they'll keep killing innocents until they have my head and my daughter."

"Damn it." He growled. "I have no clue who would have betrayed us, and we don't have the time to figure it out. This means I can't trust any of them, and so if I tell them to arrive at the location to fight the Takao..."

"The mole will inform the Takao leaders and they will likely be gone." Irene finished.

"Exactly. I'm sure I could take out their members, but if they have monsters too? There's no way to get to them." Goku sighed, conflicted.

"You said you need firepower?" Irene asked.

"Yes?" Goku replied, confused.

"I have exactly what you need." She stated, a small smile playing on her lips. "How about this; you two infiltrate the house, while our troops distract and fight the Takao members?"

The Royal Guard. She's bringing them? Well, considering how she is, that's not too surprising. The Royal Guards, while fewer in number, have more experience and skill.

"Thank you." Goku nodded. "That would be appreciated. You do trust them, right?"

"With his life." Irene said, pointing towards me.

"Why mine?!" I exclaimed.

Goku chuckled. "Alright then. We have to do this now, before the Takao start attacking the innocents again."

"What about Amber?" I asked.

Amber helped in the anime, so where is she?

"I don't want to get her involved anymore than she already is." Goku sighed.

Wait, then why did she help in the anime? Did changing the time of our attack to earlier change this? Well, it'll be fine. We have the S Rank Adventurer Goku Taiyou with us.

"You two go ahead." Irene stated. "I'll get my forces and create a distraction at the front."

"Alright." Goku nodded. "Come on, Ken."

We exited the Dojo, Goku leading me to our destination. After a short walk we arrived near the building.

In front of the gate to the building were two guards. Two guards wouldn't be guarding an empty place. They're here.

"Come on." Goku whispered. "This way."

We snuck around the side. We needed to get in from a back entrance.

"You see, they have a secret passageway." Goku told me. "I didn't realize it back then, but I found it after they used it to escape."

To the side of the house was an alleyway. Entering it, Goku walked over to the two dumpsters up against the alleyway wall.

Goku opened one of the dumpsters, revealing it was mostly empty. Goku hopped into it, before stomping on the floor.

The floor opened, and Goku dropped down a foot into a passageway. That's where the secret passageway was?!

"Come on." Goku gestured.

I nodded, climbing into the dumpster and jumping down. Goku closed the top of the dumpster, leaving us in a dark passageway.

Goku extended his hand, a ball of fire appearing in it. It illuminated the passageway, revealing it went a short distance forwards, before ending at a ladder.

We crouched down, moving through the narrow passageway and arriving at the ladder. Climbing up, we pushed open a trapdoor hidden under a rug.

We climbed out of the trapdoor, slowly closing it and pulling the rug over without a single person knowing of our presence.

Where are we?

Looking around, I saw that we were inside of a bathroom. The trapdoor had been under the rug on the floor of the bathroom.

A strange place to put an escape.

"We're lucky." Goku whispered. "No one's occupying the bathroom right now."

I shivered. Yeah, I'd say we're lucky.

"This house seems pretty small for a base." I commented.

By no means was it a small house, but for a base full of Takao men? It was small for what would be needed.

"That's because they have an underground base under the house." Goku stated.

"...and their escape doesn't connect to it?" I asked, confused.

"No. I think it's to trick whoever is pursuing them. Make them think they either ran out of the house or to the second floor. They would never expect them to flee into a bathroom of all places..." Goku explained.

"Fair enough." I replied.

"...Or it's just bad design." Goku finished.

Oh.

Goku slightly opened the door to the bathroom, peaking through.

"Everybody get to the front!" Somebody's voice ran into our ears. "They're trying to get in!"

Irene!

"There's a lot of them!" One worriedly yelled.

"Doesn't matter! We have more! Everybody get up and out!" The first one screamed.

The sound of hundreds of rushing footsteps entered my ears, a sound that shouldn't be possible in a small house.

They rushed outside, quickly going to intercept Irene and her allies. After a minute, the house went quiet as the sounds of fighting roared outside.

Goku glanced through the slightly creaked open door. "This is our cue." He stated, seeing that nobody was there.

Opening the door, we creeped through the house. I followed him to a seemingly normal wide-open basement door.

We quietly walked down, and instead of a normal basement at the end of the steps we were in a large room. At the other side of the room was a stage, and otherwise than that the rest of the room was empty.

Also, it was very dark.

The lights suddenly turned on, as three people stood on the stage. The door behind us slammed shut. We were trapped.

"Goku Taiyou...we were expecting you." Said a man with an annoying grin on his face.

"Shinji and Ruka Takao..." Goku growled.

Shinji had bright orange hair with round glasses. His arm was wrapped around a woman with long, blond hair.

Shinji and Ruka Takao, the leaders of the Takao Group.

And to their right, was one last person. Someone that I recognized...

What was she doing here?! She wasn't supposed to appear until the Fifth Arc!

Follower of Demon King Lupercio, Aoi...
