I woke up to someone repeatedly tapping me in the face. Annoying. Let me sleep...
They didn't stop.
Groaning, I groggily sat up and slightly opened my eyes, squinting at the person in front of me.
It's been a couple days since I murdered two people and I want to rest this weekend before I start going to school and training again.
And also, why are you sitting on my lap?
"Lily?" I questioned. "What the hell are you doing in my room?"
"Ehehehe..." She cutely giggled. "I wanted to ask you something."
She's acting odd. I have a bad premonition.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Go on a date with me." Lily stated.
...And there it is.
I recognize those eyes. Those eyes of a burning passion, ones that had the heart to do anything for only one person.
Their beloved.
So, now even Lily is in love with me? Seriously?
Was it from when we fought the Megalodon and I caught her? I feel like I'd need to do more to pull her away from Erica...
Well, it doesn't matter now.
"Fine." I sighed. "Irene knows, right?"
Lily smiled at me.
"Irene knows, right?" I worriedly asked once more.
"Shhh." Lily winked. She walked over to my door, pushing a bookshelf in front of it.
She then walked over to my window, opening it. She crawled outside, hanging from the window.
I crawled out of bed, tiredly walking to the window. "You do know this is the second floor?"
"I'll be fine." Lily winked.
"Just give me a second." I sighed. "I need to get changed.
I walked over to my closet, opening it to find some clothes. Finding a good enough set, I took off my shirt.
Yet I couldn't help but feel something was wrong...
I glanced at the window. Lily's eyes could be seen, peaking at me through the window.
"Go away!" I yelled at her.
"Okay, okay..." She sighed, climbing down the building.
Something still felt wrong. Looking closer, I noticed one of my underwear had gone missing. I had a funny suspicion I knew who it was...
I quickly got changed before she could come back up. I grabbed my phone, clambering through the window and closing it behind me.
Climbing down the building, I was met with Lily outside of the Aegis Mansion.
Irene's going to be pissed...
Why did I agree to this again?
"So, what's the plan?" I asked her.
"Over here." Lily gestured, walking off.
We walked to the fence that surrounded the Aegis Mansion.
"How are we going to get past this?" I wondered.
"Like this!" Lily instructed, nimbly climbing up a close tree next to the Mansion, before using it to jump over the fence.
I repeated what she did, climbing up the tree and jumping over the fence. I may or may not have not been as graceful.
And I definitely didn't fall on my face.
"You totally face-planted!" Loki cackled in my mind. "It was hilarious!"
Shut up, you.
If only I was as acrobatic as Lily...wait a minute...
"Hey Lily, how did you get so acrobatic?" I asked her.
"Hm? What do you mean?" She wondered.
"You're really flexible and I've seen you climb up many things. You've climbed people, monsters, and trees. How did you learn that?" I asked.
If I can study Lily's acrobatics, or where she acquired them from, I should be able to copy it and tune it on my own.
There have been multiple times where my small bit of acrobatics from what I've seen Lily do help me in a situation.
I'm sure that this will be a helpful skill. And when you combine it with Copycat, and it won't take long to master.
"I...uh...taught myself..." Lily hesitantly replied.
"Really?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at her, not believing her for a second.
"It's embarrassing!" She squeaked, her cheeks turning pink.
Cute. No wait, get back on track Ken!
"Well, I was just wondering cause I want to try learning it." I stated.
"Wait...really?" Lily asked.
"Yeah." I nodded.
"Well...I could teach you..." Lily shyly stated.
"Seriously? Thanks." I smiled.
"Ehehehe...it's alright." She replied.
"So, what kind of acrobatics is it?" I wondered.
"About that..." Lily sweatdropped. "It's...Freestyle Parkour..."
Eh? Did I hear her correctly?
"...what?" I asked, confused. "Freestyle Parkour?"
Lily's face started to become more red as she looked away from me, completely embarrassed.
"You do Freestyle Parkour?!" I exclaimed.
Lily shrunk away. "I knew it was too embarrassing!"
"No! No, it's not that. It's just...not what I was expecting. I didn't think you'd do something like this for a hobby. It's cool." I stated.
"Really?" Lily asked, looking at me with puppy eyes.
You didn't even need to use the puppy eyes.
Freestyle Parkour is not what I expected at all, especially from Lily. But that's pretty cool. And, that could be extremely helpful.
If I train with that enough, that could help if I ever need to do a quick escape from a monster or person stronger than me.
"So, can you teach me?" I asked her.
"Of course!" Lily happily said, hugging onto my arm.
She's certainly had an 180. She's much more...touchy now that she's fallen in love with me.
It's still strange to talk about people falling in love with me, since there was a point in my life that I thought I'd die alone, and would have been fine with that.
Oh, the woes of broken hearts.
And now I have five yanderes in love with me, possibly six if Amber fell in love with me because I killed her parents.
...That was certainly a sentence.
"The best way is practice." Lily stated. "Let's go find a building to climb up."
"Alright then." I nodded.
This will be a strange experience.
It was still dark outside, evident of how early Lily had woken me up to sneak me away from Irene. It was still light enough to see the surroundings, so it wasn't like we were going to run in the dark.
With a couple hops, Lily jumped to the roof of a nearby building. She's been doing this for a long time, and the strength from her Arcana only helped.
I clumsily climbed up the building, by no means quicker nor more efficiently than Lily. Standing in the rooftop, I watched as Lily ran, jumping off the edge onto another roof.
I watched as she maneuvered across the roofs. She was an expert. Making decisions in the slightest of seconds, she decided which direction was the best one.
It wasn't long till she did a small loop, jumping back onto the roof, only slightly sweating.
"Your turn!" Lily smiled.
"Alright..." I worriedly replied.
I looked towards the edge of the roof, a little worried about the jump.
Don't fall off the building, don't fall off the building, don't fall off the building!
I ran, jumping in the air.
Time seemed to slow down as the wind rushed past my skin, leaving it's cool touch behind like an afterthought.
I stared down at the roof I was falling towards. I had to land this.
I landed down on the roof, but my feet instantly hurt from the landing. "Ow!" I cried out.
Lily appeared next to me. "That's not how you land."
"What do you mean?" I asked her, rubbing my aching foot.
"When I land, I always roll right away. This distributes the excess energy throughout my body so it isn't all concentrated in my feet. It's tough at first, but once you get good at it you can effectively land without the chance of injuring your feet." Lily explained.
"Interesting." I muttered. "Thank you, Sensei." I playfully smiled at her, bowing down.
"Shut up!" Blushed Lily, lightly punching me in the shoulder.
We looked at each other, before bursting into laughter. The sun started to rise, bringing a warm light over the world.
"This is nice." Lily smiled.
I looked at her, seeing the rising sun behind her cute figure. She looked at me, a heavenly smile unbefitting for a demon gracing her face. It was an image that I would never forget.
"Yeah...it is." I smiled as well.
"Come on! Let's go!" Lily suddenly yelled, running and jumping onto another building, rolling into getting back up on her feet and continuing to run.
I felt a smirk grow on my face. "Alright." I said to myself, jumping onto the next building, quickly performing a roll.
Yeah...this is nice...
