Goku stared at the multiple teenagers that occupied the Taiyou Dojo. The Dojo was "closed", but that was actually so these seven students could train.

Why?

Well, let's go back a couple hours...to earlier this day...

...

Another day of school. Too bad I can barely keep my eyes open because Lily and I were freestyle parkouring literally all day yesterday.

Never thought I'd say that.

Despite my tiredness, I'm actually quite happy. The results are good and I've quickly become better. I'm not as good as Lily, but I have certainly improved.

The agility and acrobatic ability that honing this skill will give me is too valuable to give up.

But I need to do more than that. I have a whole month to train before the next arc starts, which means the goal is to level up to Tier 6 in this time.

But I should probably explain Arc 5 first and what happens originally.

The good thing about this Arc is that it won't come sooner. Unlike how my actions sped up the events of Arc 4, that isn't possible for Arc 5.

Because it takes place at the annual JSAC.

JSAC stands for "Japanese Student Adventurer Competition", and is a huge tournament that different students from multiple adventurer schools across Japan participate in.

Yes, Arc 5 is not only Bianca's Arc, but it's also a Tournament Arc.

It's an one vs one style tournament which happens over multiple days. It's used to show the potential of the next adventurers and increase morale.

The students can be from First-Year to Third-Year, and fight against other years. A Third-Year can go against a First-Year. Sounds unfair, doesn't it?

This is because the students that are sent into the tournament are specifically chosen by the Principal of their respective school.

Yeah.

Now, there are multiple more rules and details to the tournament, but this is the most simplified and easy explanation.

The students should be chosen at around now, the beginning of November. The JSAC Tournament starts about halfway through December, so it gives the participants about a month and a half to prepare.

Originally, the Principal was able to choose three people to go into the tournament. This is a lot compared to other schools which have only one, or even zero, but it's due to Legacy High's influence and popularity.

She chooses Bianca, Iris, and another Third-Year at first, but at the beginning of December the Third-Year is injured badly and can't compete.

Must be pretty bad if he couldn't compete even after a healer...

Anyways, this causes the Principal to choose Erica, a bold move since Erica is a First-Year and only has half a month to prepare, instead of the usual month and a half.

However, I've changed things. I do still believe that Bianca and Iris will be picked, as they're two of the strongest in the school, having bested multiple Third-Years.

As for the third slot, I can't rule out the possibility she might choose me. After all, she knows that I've been a Bodyguard for two people, both who were attempted to be assassinated, which failed both times.

But a Bodyguard is a lot different from an Adventurer, so there's no guarantee that she will choose me.

There's a good chance she won't since I haven't revealed my exact Tier to anyone yet, so nobody should know my insane growth at reaching Tier 5 yet.

My plan for Arc 5...well, there's not really anything I can do.

As the tournament progresses, more and more people are eliminated until it's the finals; Erica vs Bianca.

It's this moment that changes everything, as Erica, having just reached Tier 6 a little bit prior, is able to barely beat Bianca and win.

Like, barely. As in one different action would have caused Erica's defeat, so there's no guarantee it will go that way this time. But it's still impressive.

It's then when Aoi and her allies attack. Aoi takes on both Erica and Bianca, and is able to defeat them both.

Now, that's how the anime rolled out. From prior experience, there's a good chance that somehow, this will change.

Maybe Erica will lose and not make into the finals, or maybe Aoi won't be there, maybe Erica loses to Bianca, or maybe something else.

There's too many possibilities.

I'll just have to be prepared for when they do attack, whether it's at the peak of the tournament or earlier.

And hopefully I'll be able to avoid the next yandere this time.

So, now for the big question, how does the most popular and strongest girl in school, The Ice Queen, known for being emotionless, become a yandere?

Well, it's simple. Erica bests her.

Yeah, that's it. That's the only evidence that the anime gives us as for why Bianca becomes yandere for her, because it only happens after Erica beats Bianca.

I'll just avoid Bianca in general to stay safe. There could be other external factors, due to the fact that Iris still became a yandere despite Irene still living.

So the only thing I can do in preparation for this arc is to become stronger.

The teacher walked into the classroom, placing their papers on their desk. They cleared their throat, gathering the attention of the students, including mine.

"Good morning." The teacher nodded. "Today we'll have a special announcement, so once the speakers inform us, we'll head down to the cafeteria."

"An announcement? What could it be?" Kai wondered aloud to himself.

"Probably telling us which students are going to be Legacy High's representatives for the upcoming JSAC Tournament." I stated.

Kai looked at me weirdly.

"What?" I asked him.

"You call it JSAC?" He wondered.

"Yeah...that's what it's called..." I stated.

"Yeah, I know." Kai sighed. "But that's the official, non-cool name. It also goes by the Festival of Snow."

"Seriously?" I wondered.

"Yeah." Kai nodded. "Technically the tournament is different from the Festival of Snow, since the Festival is all of the activities going on outside of the tournament, but it's become synonymous with the tournament."

"Hmm. Interesting..." I muttered to myself.

Festival of Snow does sound quite better than JSAC. They must call it that since it happens in the middle of December.

"First-Years, please go down to the cafeteria." A voice spoke from the speaker, interrupting us.

"That's our cue." I said, standing up.

"Ken! Let's go!" Yui said, grabbing onto my arm.

She smirked as she pressed her flatness onto me.

I sighed, starting to walk as Yui continued to hang on my arm. "At least react!" She cried out.

"Wait up!" Lily cried out, hanging onto my other arm.

Seriously?

"Hey!" Erica pouted.

Kai looked at me with an envious gaze. "So many people would kill to be in your position right now..."

"Would you?" I asked him.

"No. But I'm so jealous." Kai said, clenching his hand. "I want to find a girl someday."

"Good luck." I told him.

"You don't get to say that!" He yelled, pointing at me. "You have two girls on your arms and another girl on your chest!"

Looking down, I realized Erica was now hugging me from the front, wrapping her arms around me in an attempt to up the other two.

This one was dangerous. She wasn't flat.

"Trust me, you wouldn't want this." I told him.

"How could I not?!" He cried, falling to his knees in defeat.

"..." We all just silently stared at his pitiful state.

"Alright, get off." I said, shaking them off of me. "I can't walk anywhere if you're hanging on me."

They sighed as they got off of me.

"Alright, let's go." I said, grabbing the pitiful Kai by his foot and dragging him on the way to the lunchroom.

"Uh...Mr. Kage, why are you dragging Mr. Ryuhi?" The teacher asked me.

"He can't go anywhere in his state." I replied, sadly looking at Kai.

"Uh...alright..." The teacher replied.

It was when we reached the stairs that Kai had finally broken out of it.

"No! Not the stairs! Not the stairs!" He screamed in horror.

Don't worry. No Kai's were harmed in the making of the journey to the cafeteria.

We reached the lunchroom, standing in it as we waited for the Second-Years and Third-Years to arrive after being called.

Once all of the students arrived, the Principal walked onto the stage, holding a microphone. The lunchroom quieted down as she tapped the mic to see if it worked.

"Hello everyone." She said into the mic. "Today we'll be announcing our representatives for the JSAC Tournament in the Festival of Snow this year."

"This year we get three representatives." She stated. "Our first representative is Second-Year Bianca Tsuki. Please come up."

The students cheered and clapped as Bianca walked up to the stage, standing next to the Principal.

"Our second representative is Second-Year Iris Aegis." She informed.

Iris walked up the stage, standing next to Bianca. Somehow spotting me in the crowd Alamo immediately, she gave me a wave.

I waved back.

"And our third representative is First-Year Ken Kage." She finished.

"What?!" The whole school cried out.

...Of fucking course.
