I had exited the arena, meeting Iris on my way out.

"Thanks." I replied. "You're match ten, right?" I asked.

"Yeah." She nodded. "So after the next fight I'll be up."

"Well, good luck." I nodded.

"Thank you." She smiled.

I waved her bye as I headed towards where Irene told me to meet. She had just texted me with the location, and who knows what she'd do if I didn't come right away.

I went through the entrance to the stands, where l the spectators were sat. They stared at me as I walked through, no doubt because of my match.

The ninth match started, set in a hilly range.

I walked over to where Irene and the others where. Next to Irene was an empty seat. She patted the seat, gesturing for me to sit down in it.

"That was...incredible." Gasped Erica.

"You did a great job." Irene nodded.

"Looks like I'm going to have to become stronger." Grinned Amber.

"Oh, that was so hot~" Yui smirked.

"So cool..." Muttered Lily.

"How did you do that?" Erica asked. "I thought he was supposed to be incredibly strong, but you absolutely destroyed him."

"Ken used the arrogance of Nakamura to his advantage. As Nakamura underestimated him, Ken was able to catch him by surprise with a relentless assault, taking him out quickly." Someone's voice blankly stated.

We all turned in surprise at the sudden voice that had appeared out of nowhere. "Bianca?!" We exclaimed.

"What are you doing here?" I asked her.

She didn't respond, instead patting my head with no expression. "Good job." She said, before walking off.

What the-

Immediately a dark aura enveloped the others.

"Hey! Hey, calm down!" I exclaimed.

"She touched you..." Growled Lily.

"It's fine! It's fine!" I quickly replied.

"Why are you defending her, Ken? Is there something you aren't telling us?" Amber asked with piercing eyes.

"Will we have to punish you, Ken~?" Yui wondered, a scary smile on her face.

"There's nothing going on! Seriously!" I desperately exclaimed.

Jealousy, one of the most dangerous things in my life right now. Quite literally, as they could kill me if I made a move on another girl.

Honestly, we're in a fragile balance right now. It's obvious that the girls have come to some sort of agreement, with Irene at the helm.

At the moment, Irene is my only fiancé and actual 'lover'. That means if any developments happen with the others, everything could shatter.

An all-out yandere war.

And I'd rather not be stabbed by someone who's completely crazy for me. Not a good way to go out.

"This needs some investigation..." Lily muttered.

No it doesn't. Stop that.

"And that concludes match nine! Chikao Ransu is the victor, and shall be moving onto the second round!" The first announcer exclaimed.

"Ah, Iris' match shall be starting soon." Irene pointed out.

Last time I saw Iris fight was when we stormed her brother's base. I wonder how she will fare now that she's going in an one on one.

"I wonder how she'll do?" Erica asked, voicing my earlier thought.

"Just watch." Irene stated. "Now that she has finally broken out of her slump, she's much stronger than before."

"Both her and I were in a slump, but now both of us have gotten out of it. She finally reached Tier 6 and I finally reached Tier 9. And it's all thanks to you, Ken." She warmly smiled at me.

I quickly looked away, a faint heat on my cheeks. Seeing her go from her usually stern and stoic look to a such a warm smile took me by surprise.

Also, what do you mean it's all thanks to me? Did the "power of love" boost your power or something?

"Good job..." I lightly said.

"Hey!" Yui yelled. "I've made it to Tier three! Isn't that awesome?!"

"Actually, it is since you aren't really a fighter. Good job." I smiled at her.

"Ah~" She let out a weird sigh, melting into her seat like butter in a pan.

These girls are so weird...

"No fair...I got to Tier 5..." Pouted Erica.

"I made it to Tier 6." Amber competed.

"I've hit...Tier 4..." Lily awkwardly said.

All three of them looked at me expectantly.

You three too?

"Good job." I sighed.

Instantly they looked satisfied as they sat back into their seats.

I'm incredibly lucky that Irene became my fiancé. If she didn't, I'm sure that there would have been a lot more fights between them over the smallest things.

It also helps that they have their agreement, likely one about sharing me, to my unfortunate self.

Well, as long as it keeps them from doing their "punishments" on me, I'll live.

"The tenth match is about to start!" The first announcer said, moving our attention back to the arena. "It's time to spin!"

The second announcer spun the wheel. It turned and turned, before coming to a slow. It landed on a picture of an island.

"The stage will be 'Island'!" The second announcer revealed.

Creative.

The floor of the arena moved down, a new one taking its place. A fairly large island about half the size of the arena stood in the middle, with water surrounding the rest. The island's edge was a beach while the middle of it was a small forest.

"Now, for our first representative, we have Third-Year Aki Kanatsu from Kyoto's Adventurer School!"

"And for our second representative, we have Second-Year Iris Aegis, our second student from Legacy High!" The first announcer exclaimed.

A bridge appeared from the water inbetween the two gates and the island, in order to give the students a way to the island.

The gates opened. On one side came out Iris Aegis, and on the other side came a a black-haired Kitsune who obscured his face with a Kitsune mask.

"A Kitsune?" Amber hummed curiously.

"Is that strange?" Erica asked her.

"Well, there just aren't many Kitsunes around." Amber stated. "We're a rarer species."

Huh, that's an interesting fact.

"I wanna fight him." Amber added.

Of course.

I directed my attention back to the arena, where both of them were already on the island. They both went to the beach, seeing the other across the island.

Aki put his hand out, a katana forming in it. Iris let her hand out, summoning a brilliant golden shield.

While not as beautiful as Erica's Excalibur, it was a lot more beautiful than Eiko's Midas.

In an instant Aki appeared in front of Iris, having used some sort of skill to traverse the whole island in a second.

He aimed his katana for a non-fatal, strike to end the match. However, Iris was able to bring her shield up in that split second and block the attack.

As his sword hit the shield, electricity moved from the shield to the katana and into Aki's hands. He jumped backwards, having being shocked by Iris' Zeus.

If I remember correctly, this is one of Iris' tiers which causes a counter-attack shock when Zeus is physically hit.

Aki got back into position, a flame bursting into fire on his katana. He dashed towards Iris with great speed, aiming to hit her.

She brought her shield to block it, causing Aki to quickly change direction and swing through the air.

He noticed that the electric shock he had been given was a counter-attack. Impressive.

He swung at her multiple more times, trying to move around her shield. He jumped back once more, seeing that he couldn't get past the shield without striking it.

Iris brought back her other hand, getting it ready. She thrusted it forward, a giant lightning bolt flying from her hand.

Aki tilted his body, avoiding the hit. As he looked back at Iris, she was right in front of him, trying to slam down her shield on his head for a knock-out.

He blocked the shield with his sword. It was kind of a funny sight to see since it's usually the opposite. He wasn't shocked by Zeus, since he didn't attack the shield.

Not that it mattered. Iris put the palm of her other hand onto his stomach while he held his sword with both of his hands, releasing another powerful strike of lightning.

He was sent flying backwards, before he crashed onto the ground. He laid there, groaning, and struggling to get up. After a couple tries, he gave up and laid on the floor.

A lightning strike from her, point-blank, is quite strong.

"Iris Aegis wins!" The announcer stated.

Iris breathed a sigh in relief, wiping some sweat from her head. Those lightning bolts took a lot of energy to use.

I heard someone clapping to my right.

Irene was clapping, staring at Iris with a small smile on her face. "That's my sister." She whispered.

I felt a soft smile grow on my face.

Good job, Iris.
