(Iris POV)
I stared in silent horror as Eiko's hand touched Irene's back, turning her into a golden statue. One of the people I loved the most...just like that...
"Damn it." Bianca muttered, a small look of regretfulness on her face.
Ken looked at Irene, a shocked look on his face. "Irene?" He said.
He got no response. She was gone.
Ken looked down at the ground, his arms going limp. He stared at the ground with a shocked expression, before shadows covered his eyes as he started to shake.
"Haha..." He chuckled. "HahahahaHAHAHAHA!!!!"
"Wow, looks like I really broke him, huh?" Eiko laughed. "Maybe I should play with him a little longer."
Eiko started to approach Ken. Then the blue-haired scythe-girl's eyes suddenly widened.
Crimson lightning started to spark around Ken, slowly becoming more violent. It shattered the bony hand that was keeping him in place. Was this a new ability he's kept hidden?!
"Eiko, don't-!" She yelled.
"What could possibly-" Eiko started to say, before in a red flash Ken appeared behind him. Ken glanced behind him, his eyes now a crimson red, different from their usual emerald color.
"Huh?" Eiko gasped, his right arm falling to the ground. Large amounts of blood poured out of his shoulder, where said arm was previously attached.
Eiko screamed in horror as he noticed that his arm was now gone. Ken grabbed him by the back of his shirt, throwing him into a tree. A large crack resonated from his back as Eiko let out a strangled cry.
Eiko collapsed to the ground. Ken walked over, pulling Eiko up and propping him up against the tree.
"Here, let me help." Ken stated coldly. The crimson lightning sparked in his hand. He pressed it onto Eiko's shoulder, causing a blood-curdling scream to ring out.
"I've cauterized your wound. Wouldn't want you to bleed out too quickly, now would we?" Ken asked.
He turned around, looking at more wolves that climbed out of the forest, gnashing their teeth at us.
"Move." Ken said, looking towards us.
We jumped out of the way as Ken swiped his arms, crimson electricity shooting towards the wolves and frying them all.
The multiple wolves all collapsed to the ground, steam coming from their heads. There were at least 20 of them, all C Rank.
And Ken killed with them with a single wave of his hands.
...that's hot.
"How do you ha-!?" The scythe girl started to ask, her eyes narrowed.
She quickly cut off her words as Ken appeared beside her, the crimson lightning sparking over his body.
The scythe girl barely dodged Ken's kick. Instead it impacted the ground, creating a small crater.
The scythe girl twirled her scythe, getting into fighting position as Ken rushed her. He was going at speeds I've never seen him before, already clashing his sword against the scythe girl's scythe.
Ken started to push her back, being able to do something that both Bianca and I couldn't accomplish earlier.
The scythe girl launched a wave of blue fire at Ken. He easily sidestepped it. A wall of blue fire then erupted inbetween them as she tried to give herself a break from Ken's attacks.
It didn't work. Ken dashed through the fire, the electricity acting as some sort of shield around his body which prevented himself from being burnt.
The scythe girl barely blocked the fist that Ken sent towards her with her scythe. Ken reared his other fist back, hitting her in the gut.
As she stumbled backwards Ken sent a kick towards her head which she barely dodged by leaning backwards.
Planting both of his feet on the ground Ken twirled and sent another punch towards the scythe girl. As she went to block it it suddenly accelerated as the crimson lightning surrounded it, zooming past her guard and smacking into her face.
She flew backwards, crashing against the ground. She rolled out of the way as Ken appeared above her, cracking the ground with his kick.
A sudden sound from above caught my attention. Looking up, it looked like Mr. Sato and The Principal had taken care of the gunmen from The Children Of Lupercio.
As Ken and the scythe girl fought, a collar suddenly appeared on her neck. "Damn it." She cursed, before she suddenly was teleported away in a blue flash of light.
Ken looked at where she was, before walking back over to the other person he had fought. He watched as Eiko tried to crawl away. He grabbed Eiko by the foot, pulling him back and resting him against a tree.
"Fuck...you..." Eiko muttered.
"Look, we can do this two ways." Ken emotionlessly stated. "You turn back Irene, or I'll make you."
"And why...would I do that?" Coughed out Eiko.
Ken's arcana morphed into a gun.
"I could always take off your other arm. Actually, I should do it one finger at a time first. I'm sure that will be an enjoyable experience." Ken stated.
He crouched down and looked Eiko in the eyes.
"Or...imagine if I got Yui down here. She's a healer, you know? She could heal every single one of your injuries. Imagine how many fingers I could take off then." Ken continued.
"Oh, and there's the toes too. Maybe even your whole legs." Ken added. "And once I'm finally done and you give me your answer, I'll kill you. Simple as that."
"But you tell me now, and we can skip all the hard stuff and I'll reconsider killing you." Ken stated. "So, what's your decision. It's one or the other."
"Fine..." Growled Eiko. "I can't."
"What?" Ken asked, sending a chilling glare at Eiko that would even make death piss himself.
"I-I-it's temporary!" He screamed out. "It fades after time!"
"You better be telling the truth." Ken hissed. "Or I'll take a finger off right now."
He pointed the gun towards Eiko's only pinky finger.
"It's true! It's true!" Eiko desperately yelled.
"Doesn't seem like you're lying..." Ken muttered. "Makes sense, otherwise your stupid ass would have destroyed the economy already."
"So...does this mean I get to li-" Eiko started to say.
A bang ran out. Eiko looked down at the hole in the middle of his chest.
"But...you said..." He coughed.
"I lied." Ken coldly replied.
Eiko collapsed down onto the ground, dead.
"I was getting tired of hearing you squawk." Ken stated.
Ken then grabbed Eiko's body. It lit up in flames, his body burning in a great flame until until not even the bone remained, only ashes. Ken stomped his foot onto the ashes, sending them flying into the wind.
"A fitting end for an annoying golden turkey." Ken commented.
Ken glanced back at the golden statue of Irene. He approached it, staring straight into her golden eyes.
He stood there for a while, staring into her eyes. Bianca and I watched, unsure of what to do.
Irene...please...come back...
Then suddenly gold started to fade from Irene's body, revealing the usual color of her skin, eyes, and clothes.
Irene!
"Ken?" Irene gasped as all of the gold left her. She looked at her hands and body in confusion "What's going on?"
"Irene..." Ken muttered, a single tear running down his eye. He placed his hand on Irene's face, before bringing her into a kiss.
I was filled with both happiness and envy.
"I love you." He said to her, before bringing her into another kiss.
AN: Ken has broken. Whether that's good or bad is up to you.
