The beginning of the new year. It's now 2053, and I've been in the world of Heaven's Hell for a whole year now, and we're in our final semester for our first year of school.

I've made it through five arcs of the anime, and so far have completely wrecked it to where it's very different.

The next Arc starts during January and takes up the whole month. Unlike the last two, it's not as dangerous.

It's dangerous, but just not as much. Arc 6 is the first arc in the anime that doesn't introduce a new yandere, considering there were only five in the anime.

Arc 6 is known as the Avalon Arc, and if that sounds familiar, then you should know that it is incredibly important to a certain MC.

Arc 6 starts when the Principal tells Erica about how there's a legend that about every 25 years a magical island will appear out of nowhere for a single month before disappearing.

The Island of Avalon is what the legends call it. The legends say it's only appeared twice; when the rifts first appeared and then a second time 25 years later.

The legends say that it's a legendary island that teaches certain people called the "Chosen" how to become strong, and that it's where the Four Great Sages were trained.

There are multiple theories about how the island drifted in and out from rifts, or that it has a magic security system to keep it hidden.

Of course, all of these are legends and theories. There's no basis to if these are real or not. The island definitely is real though, or else this wouldn't be an Arc.

The Principal thinks that she's found the island, so she sends Erica and the others for an obvious reason; Excalibur's connection with Avalon.

In Arthurian Legend, Avalon is both the name for the sheathe of Excalibur and a legendary island.

See the correlation? So the Principal sends Erica there, because if anyone has a chance of being a Chosen, then it's Erica.

And she does end up being a Chosen. They find a single tower on the island, and it's doors only open for Erica.

When she goes into the tower, she finds a person. This part of the anime both shocked and intrigued me.

She meets Merlin, the wise wizard of King Arthur.

How in the world Merlin is still alive was never explained, but my theory is that the island has some sort of eternal healing properties since Avalon (sword and island) is associated with healing.

So Erica is trained under Merlin for a month, the Children Of Lupercio attacks, and Erica finds the sheathe of Avalon in the island.

Otherwise than the attack by the Children Of Lupercio, it's not a very dangerous Arc. Hopefully I can increase my strength throughout the Arc, maybe even make it up to Tier 8...

I need to be prepared. Arc 6 is the final arc of Season 2, and Season 3 is when things get crazy. In the span of two months the Season happens and it's very dangerous.

Especially since I still don't know what happens in the last episode...

The sound of the school's speakers suddenly cut me from my thoughts.

"Erica Arthurson and Ken Kage please come to the office." The announcer stated.

"What'd you do this time?" Kai whispered.

"I didn't do anything." I sighed.

He just raised his eyebrow. I sent him the stink eye in response.

Standing up, I left the class. This must be it. This must be when Erica is informed on how the Principal is sending her to the island to find out if the legends are true.

But why did she call me too? I don't have any relation to Avalon. Since I'm part of Erica's friend group I'd figured that I would be sent too, but why am I being called to the office as well?

Arriving at the door to the Principal's office, I saw Erica leaning next to the door. Her eyes brightened as she saw me approach.

"Hey Ken!" She smiled. "Why do you think she called us?"

"No idea." I lied, shrugging my shoulders.

Knocking on the door, we were met with a "walk in" in response. We walked into her room, a room that I have entered way too many times.

"Hello." She greeted. "Sit down." She waved to the two seats sat in front of her desk.

We sat down as she continued.

"Have you two heard of the Legendary Island of Avalon?" She asked.

Called it.

"I have." Erica nodded. "After all, it's rumored that the Four Great Sages were trained there."

"Exactly." She nodded. "Back when the rifts first appeared, people claimed of an island that drifted around the sea. 25 years ago, there were rumors about how the island had reappeared from nowhere."

"It sounds crazy, but we may have found it." She stated.

"No way." Gasped Erica. "You mean the legend could be true?!"

"Possibly." Principal replied. "This island we discovered isn't on any current or past maps. It could have just been undiscovered, but that seems unlikely. Especially with the timing."

"If it really is true...why are you telling us this?" Erica wondered.

"I want you, Ken, and any others you'd like to bring to go check out the island." She stated. "Your Arcana is Excalibur. If anything has a connection to the Legendary Island, it's your weapon."

"That's why I want you to go and find out the mysteries of the island if possible." She continued.

"Seriously?" Erica gasped in excitement.

"Yes. While I wish I could go with you, I have to stay here because of how crazy everything is right now." She continued. "A plane will fly you there, and then will come back after two hours."

"That is, unless you call me. If anything happens, call me. Whether you find something out or are in trouble, don't hesitate." She stated.

"I'd you're in trouble, I'll come and help. If you call and don't say anything, I'll automatically assume something has gone wrong. If everything is fine and you want to change the time that the plane comes back, then also call me." She added.

Principal slid her a piece of paper with a phone number on it.

"The flight will be leaving tomorrow. Go ahead back to your home and get ready for the trip, and make sure to let me know who else you want to come with you." She ordered.

"Alright." Erica nodded.

"You may go now." She stated. "But Ken, you stay a little longer."

What's going on?

"Okay." Erica nodded. "Thank you!" She quickly bowed, before exiting.

"So, what is it?" I asked her.

"Ken. Keep her safe." Principal stated.

"Huh? Of course I would, but why are you telling me this?" I wondered.

"I have a feeling that something's going to happen." She sighed. "With everything that has been going on. I don't want to lose any students, but I'm already stretched thin. I can't send anyone with you."

"So I want you to make sure you protect Erica and the others. You're now officially the strongest in our school, although no one knows about that." She continued.

"Thank you for that." I nodded.

"It's nothing." She replied. "I knew you would appreciate that. And I don't want to cause an uproar that a First-Year beat THE Bianca Tsuki."

"On to that note, your Arcana clearly isn't Fenrir. None of the abilities you've shown match up to Fenrir. Especially since he isn't associated with fire." She stated.

"So what is it?" She wondered.

"Why should I tell you?" I asked.

"It's not like I'm going to tell anyone." Principal sighed. "But I'm really curious. Besides, I already do so much for you..."

Yo do? What are you talking about..?

"Loki." I stated. "S Rank."

"S Rank. Seriously?" Asked Principal, her eyes widening. "Amazing. You're like Erica then, a surprising S Rank..."

"Well, thank you for telling me. Makes a lot more sense now." Smiled Principal. "Oh, and I almost forgot. Here."

She handed me an envelope. Looking at it, it had my name on it.

"For me?" I asked.

"It's a Christmas card from your parents." She stated. "They've been really busy, and I've been holding them back, so they sent this card."

My parents? She knows my parents?

I slowly opened the envelope, seeing that it was in fact a Christmas card. From...my parents? Do they count as my parents?

"Merry Christmas!" The card read. "I'm sorry that we haven't visited you since you moved to Tokyo! But we've been really busy, and Aiko says that you are fine."

"Huh." I said. "How come they don't just text me?"

"You're lucky they don't know how to use phones, or else your Mom would be spamming you with texts every day." She sighed. "If it wasn't for me, she'd be spamming you with letters too."

She talked about them as if they were close friends.

"I know you know my parents, but what relationship do you have to them?" I wondered.

"You didn't know?" She asked, her eyes widening. "No wonder you've been so cold. Did they never tell you?"

"Maybe." I stated. I didn't know the answer, I couldn't remember his memories...

"Well, sorry about that. I thought you knew." She sighed. "Well, let me reintroduce myself then. My name is Aiko Kato, your..."

"...Godmother." She stated.

...

"Eh?"

An: Surprised?
