As I get out of the cab, I saw Kherst standing on the gateway. Leaning on a post, arms crossing, and head tilted down a little.

I blinked couple of times before coughing to get his attention.

"Good evening," I greeted. He went to where I am and paid for the cab's fare before leaving me and the driver baffled. We both looked at each other as our foreheads were creased in curiosity.

"Is he your boyfriend, kid?" the driver asked. I shook my head and smiled.

"No. He's my... Brother."

As the cab got off the road, I went inside where I saw Kherst playing with Keio.

I creased my forehead again and sat on the couch to watch them with baffled mind. Awhile ago he was kind of serious and impatient. Right now he's smiling and acting childish.

What in the world...?

"Oh, Ami, get your dinner now, we're already done eating awhile ago." I looked at Benina who was, as well, baffled with Kherst's sudden actions.

I went near her and whispered, "I don't get what's going on right now."

"Neither as I, Ami. He was like that when he noticed that you weren't with Thadd awhile ago. That kid told us you were facing a little dilemma so we went home first. Then this happened." We both looked again at Kherst who was now sitting on a single couch, reading a book.

Well, it was on upside-down.

"Weird," we uttered in synchronize.

After dinner, I went to my room to clean myself and change my clothes, with mind still baffled at our team leader who acts weirdly.

Keio didn't seem to mind since he thought it would be normal for 006's kinds.

I am on the same boat as with Kherst, but I don't act... Random and impulsive.

I went out of my room and sat again on the couch. I was about to watch tv when I heard a blasting sound on 006's room. Benina, Thadd, and Keio immediately went out of their rooms when they heard that sound.

"Woah, what was that?" Thadd asked.

Without answering him, we ran towards the room where the sound came from. And as I opened the door, colored smokes escaped from the gap, making us cover our noses and mouths with our hands.

I opened the door wider and there, in the middle of the room, Kherst was mixing chemicals on tubes.

With bare hands!

"Oh my Goodness, 006! Don't touch that thing! Thadd get him!" I ran towards him and grabbed a tong to snatch the tube away from him.

He was not speaking, but he tried to struggle away from Thadd's grasp. Benina turned the light on and immediately covered the experiment table with 006's blanket. I turned to Keio who was shocked to see us in such state.

"Kid, go to the kitchen and get some water," Benina told him as she helped Thadd stopping 006 from getting the tube out of the tong that I was holding.

006 was still not speaking and still tried to struggle when I get near towards him.

"Ami! What are you doing!"

"Goddammit, Ami get back!"

The two were shouting against me but I didn't listened to them. I took a step closer and pressed 006's nape so he could sleep.

Just like what I did to Prielle hours ago.

"Geez, that was scary," Thadd expressed as we saw Kherst's body slumping down to the floor. Snoring.

Benina turned her gaze towards me and looked at the tube.

"Hide that away, it might explode again." I nodded and walked out of the room first.

Keio walked inside the room with a bottle of water.

I don't know why Benina asked Keio to get some water when I already put 006 to sleep. Will she drink water as they watch our leader snoring on the floor?

I immediately went into the kitchen and took a container that had the same height with the tube, placed a few heaping of rice grains, then the tube in it before closing the lid as tight as I could.

I didn't had the chance to take a good look for the contents inside the tube since I was in a rush to hide the thing.

We don't know what 006 tried to do, but we're certain that he was not his self. He was... Somebody else.

Around eight in the evening, Heins or 069 came into our house after Benina tapped a called on him, asking him to take a look on Kherst.

"Well? What's going on?" I asked as Heins looked at our sleeping team leader on his bed. We used Benina's spare blanket since 006's was used to cover the table.

He swept off some dust and touched his eyeglasses. Which, I didn't know why he was using that when he got 20/20 vision.

"Kherst was undergoing with his annual side effects as a sciff. Multiple Personality Displacement."

"Side effects... What?" Benina turned to ask. Thadd went out to tuck Keio to sleep again.

"We, the sciffs, have side effects after we became one. As for me, I forget where I came from, that's why I always used a tracking device so I couldn't get lost. Most of us have mental side effects, some have physical problems, but I heard before that there was a special case. That one totally altered her memories and forgot how she became a sciff." I almost gasped my surprise when I heard what Heins had said, but instantly contained myself. I'm still not sure if I am that special sciff he was talking about.

"A special sciff?" Benina asked again. This time getting curious.

"I am not sure what serial number she had... I think it was 101?" he answered but not sure of what he was saying.

Bullets of sweats trickled down my skin, feeling slightly anxious.

He was really talking about me.

"What personality that Kherst had right now?" I asked, changing the topic.

"Ah, yes yes. His personality right now is named Shello. A mad scientist personality."
