Dripping taps of water is heard as soon as I awakened. My eyes tried to wander around if my blindfolds are taken away.

But it's still intact.

I know for myself that I moved too much while sleeping, how come these never leaves off my head?

Odd.

"Even?" I called him when I felt that I was alone in my room, but no response. Where was he?

"Even, hello? Earth to Even my hand-man..." but still no sound was heard.

I scuffled the blankets and sheets in my bed to know if my limbs were still tied. But they're all loose now.

Except for my eyes, the blindfolds are too tight for me to loose them. Making me leaving it like that for a while.

I tapped on the metal door when I touched it. Hoping to know if Even was still around.

And yes. Again, he's nowhere to be found.

I was about to shout when I remembered, no one would even listen to me.

I was squabbling my hands unto the air, even though I might risk touching any objects that might give my fingers some wounds. It took me a couple of minutes to check my surrounding before giving up and trying to walk towards my bathroom.

But before walking in, I felt a set of arms on my waist. Causing me to stop walking.

"Who's that?" I asked in low tone.

"Hey." my breathing hitched. It's him.

That man who was with Even when I was in this place for the first time. I still remembered it very well hence, he has a deep voice.

"Stand still, I'll take off your blinds. Better not open your eyes until I shut the door."

My curiosity arises when his presence made me intensify terribly. Queries then came rushing unto my mind as to how he entered my room when we had our metal door.

Was he here long before I was awake?

After taking off my blindfolds, I did what he had instructed me to.

And as I hear the door shuts, my eyes instantly opened to avert my gaze towards it.

I should have escaped when that was opened moments ago. Or maybe my senses are tricking me now.

After few hours being held in this small room. Or if that was still hours, I didn't felt any hunger after my blinds were taken off.

And Even was still not in here. I know I didn't see his face but I'm certain he wouldn't like to see me now that my eyes can see.

"I'm so bored," I uttered as I'm staring to the ceiling. Imagining it to be alive.

After a few moments in here, an alarm was set-off. Jolting me up from my bunk.

"All prisoners, proceed to the grounds," roared by someone behind the intercoms.

I rubbed my eyes as I felt drowsy upon going out of the room I was in. And even tho I was already outside, I'm was still looking for that guy oddly named as Even.

Or if that name really exists.

As I walked down the halls along with the other people whom I didn't thought would be here as well as I am, the men with arms were pushing other people to the center using the guns they were holding.

"Move!" one of them shouted with authority in his voice. I would flinch in fear about it but at the moment, I was still too dazed to absorb what was going on.

Am I gonna die here?

When we reached the end of the hall where a huge metal door was found, one of the armed men open it and stood in front of us.

"As you all stepped outside this hall, you must follow the arrows outside. Or you will be eliminated." He instructed more about what was outside of this hall but all my mind had thought about was on how could we know if there are arrows? There were no signs of the said thing outside. Hence, it was like a big dome of deserted area.

Just like a gladiatorial match dome that I once watched on a movie when I was a teenager.

After he spoke, he pulled up his gun and fired it. Making all of the people around me to run out of the hall, thinking they will be saved or be shot-dead. And as they all moved, my body wasn't registering what I should do. To run or to just walk?

"You!" the armed man shouted at me, "What are you still yodeling for? Get out!" He then pushed me out of the hall using the gun he was holding and closed the metal door when I stepped outside, almost made my feet to get stuck at its gap upon closing.

I watched how the other people were being shot for not following the provided 'arrows' around this area. Some of them shouted, some of them even pushed the others so they will not be killed. And as for me, I started to find these arrows that couldn't be easily seen in the naked eyes. Grabbing a handful of sand in my hand, I splashed it in front of me to see arrows to illuminate themselves. Do that to everywhere my feet takes me.

One man even tried to run unto me and push my body away fron where I stood, but he was shot before he could even reach me. And before he died, his mouth uttered, "slut. You'll die soo—"

I kicked his face in frustration. How could he call me as a slut? He didn't even saw me in his whole life to judge who I am. What a pain in the neck.

As I reached the last arrow, a metal door finally opens ahead of me. While most of the people behind me were all dead, saoked in their own bloods that made the yellow sand to turn into crimson red.

"You are the only person of your batch who could proceed to the next stage. Now go change your clothes," a man in his suit spoke that had me creased my forehead.

"What are you waiting for? Time is running, you must act fast or you'll be eliminated."

What on earth is this place? And where is Even?
