"Well, this is the first time in the history that a team would accompany a patient. Team Delta at that," Even amused as he injected an antidote into Benina's shoulder. Of course the latter would not react that rashly, her body was still paralyzed.

"This is also the first time that a doctor had an odd name, Even at that," I retorted that made Thadd and Keio bursts into fits of chortles. 006 had no reactions since he was focused on staring at the identical necklaces that we got from the last phase.

Even rolled his eyes and spoke back, "Well, blame my parents, they chose my weird name rather than the commons."

"Perhaps you might need to inject me more of that, Doc? I still can't feel my body," Benina interjected as I was about to utter my clapbacks.

"I fear your body had enough of the antidotes. You needed rest." Then he faced us. "This woman needs two weeks of rest. Kindly take her back here after when she's recuperating. For now, You all must go back to your rooms. Congratulations again on winning." I frowned at his marks so I give my query a shot.

"The voice tells us that we have identical necklaces from that phase. Did you knew about it? Since, you know... You were here before us." Sets of gazes were shot up onto my position—except for Benina who was now dozed to sleep.

"Actually no." Even answered. "What I know was there was a fake necklace. But I don't know which was which. But if the necklaces undergoes to several tests, we will know which was genuine and fake."

"We don't trust you enough." We looked at 006 who was holding the two necklaces in his hand. "These two will be tested if we struck it unto one's body."

Thadd immediately grabbed Keio and hid the child behind him. "Nope, not the kid. Not me either."

My eyes then turned to slits and rolled in annoyance. Benina was asleep, and these two don't want to try it. That leaves between me and 006, my once-brother. Without words, he strucked one of the poisonous teeth unto my skin that made a shrieking sound coming out of my mouth.

"Freaking Kherst! What if I'll die!?" I wailed but 006 just shrugged his shoulder and looked at his watch.

God, how on earth did this guy get a watch? We weren't allowed to wear any accessories on our bodies.

"We'll wait for five minutes to know if that's poisonous or just nothing," he spoke and the two boys nodded before me first.

What an audacity, Thadd.

We heard Even chuckling his way out of the infirmary. Maybe he have to go rounds to the other teams who were injured in that phase.

"Now that we had finished those forsaken phases, what now? Where should we go? I believe we don't have houses now," Thadd chided as he recovered from joking around. "My sister Serene was killed in the second phase. Along with 006's partner and Keio's grandfather. I don't know if I can survive more without my sister with me now. She's the only family I had."

So Serene was that teenage girl's name. And she's Thadd's sister.

"Grandpa chose to die," Keio quipped in. "He told me it was his plan to begin with. I don't know why he wanted to die brutally."

I want to tell them that it was 006 who killed those three but I stopped myself. I may be wrong about my assumptions since 006 was still my brother and he must have fought someone before he approached me. And he would have killed me when I fainted because my body was so open with it. But he didn't.

"014 isn't under my care. If she dies, she dies," 006 spoke like he knew what will gonna happen to his partner. 014... Beautiful woman with an odd name.

I remembered that voice saying that 006 or my brother kherst was a failed experiment. Must be that 014 was also someone like my brother's. And they were sent here to test them out again. Her fate was already plastered in her hands and she clasped it closed to herself.

Five minutes had passed and we didn't noticed the changes in my body. Well, on their part, they didn't see anything odd on my body. But for me, I'm already feeling the effect of the poison. I didn't felt dizzy but rather... agitated. The sweats from my back were becoming big and getting solid as the seconds passed by.

With heaved breath, I held 006's hand since he was near to my position.

I saw his face turning impassive but he didn't showed them to the boys. He's acting like I didn't feel nothing inside.

"I... I feel odd," I whispered under my heaving breath. He then nodded and stood up.

"Where are you going, 006?" Thadd asked when he saw him standing from his seat.

"006?" keio followed to ask, but 006 ignored them and immediately turned to the door to lock it.

Facing us, he spoke, "Ami's body is getting poisoned after five minutes. That means this one," He held up the necklace from his right hand, "Is a real one. I strucked this one to Keio without his knowledge and nothing happened to him." He then raised the other necklace from his left hand.

Keio was stunned when he heard what 006 had said, making Thadd almost furious. But when we heard that nothing happened to the kid, we were relieved. But the boys turned their heads to me and that's when they saw that my body is getting red blotches from my neck to my face.

006 immediately took my sweatshirt off and goes to the shelves where medicines were placed. I don't know what he does on my sweatshirt, but when he came back to his seat and placed the wet cloth on my body, my agitated body slowly calmed down.

"What did you do?" Keio asked as he saw my body colors turning back to normal.

"I don't know. It was just water from that tap," 006 then pointed the tap from the sink that made the two boys to make face. Of course it's odd.

But I know better, he put a drop of an antidote to my clothes and soaked in with water so that it would spread out to the cloth. I knew that stuff because that's what Zagreb does when Vidalia was poisoned because of her carelessness in the woods when we were kids.

"When that doctor asked again where's the real necklace, just tell it was the one strucked unto Ami's body. But don't tell which necklace was used. He can't be easily trusted enough." We nodded at 006's words before he unlocked the door of the infirmary.
