AZEZAL POV

The moment I walked in Aaron's room he saw me and rushed towards me cheerfully. He shouted "bestfriend, bestfriend" and jumped up in my arms.

"Oho dude slow down" I apprised him at the sudden attack. Elina was watching us chuckling. "Why are you here?" He inquired me and I'm holding him. "Why can't I be here?" I raised my eyebrow and he laughed.

"I thought you won't come today" He murmured still looking so happy. "It was a surprise for you champ. How would you know then?" I ruffled his already messy hair and he giggled more. I settled him on the bed as Elina was waiting to converse with me already.

"Azezal, you didn't even inform me that you will be coming" Elina murmured coming close to me. "Ooh so my visit is too unexpected.. hmm maybe you both mom and son don't want me here. Sadly I'll just go then" I mocked

"Asshole, give me a hug first! It's already been weeks you visited here and came to see us!" Saying that Elina crashed into a hug with me. "Been busy you know" I murmured patting her back.

"Hm you get time to have Aaron picked up and play football with him, take him to icecream shops and restaurants, buy him toys, to spend time with him" She asked parting from the hug. "It's not always me. Sometimes it's rather my assistant or I have anyone else picking him up and taking him to restaurants. He gets bored at home" I gestured at Aaron and indicating him I continued with a slight wink "Right champ?" "Yeah. Bestfriend is right, mom" He agreed and returned my wink.

"You two are unbelievable" Elina touched her head at our act and we laughed.

"So what suddenly makes you visit us huh?" She folded her hands on her chest. "Father asked me to come. No I mean it's not like I'm only here for work of course to see you guys too. You know that too well already I wouldn't have even came here if you guys weren't here. I haven't visited here for a year probably before you guys came here and nowadays I basically come here only to see you. So you can't complain." I muttered and turned to Aaron who seemed interested in our interaction too "Right champ?" I encouraged for his approval and he agreed "yes bestfriend"

"Aaron is being an asshole just like you" Elina murmured and we laughed together. "Okay your work with father is done right?" She asked. "Yeahh.. It was just about a few documents. Just a futile reason to call me here"

"Then I guess we can have dinner together" she uttered hopingly. "Yeah we can as I'm already here" I answered. "Ooh Carla was so eager to meet you. Let me call her" Elina said making me frustrated. "Damn I'll just go then. Don't wanna spoil my mood this soon" Elina made a frown face.

"Okay I'm not calling her now but you will eventually meet her at dinner. And Azezal you can't be like this with her. You need to behave better with her. She will be your wife soon" she rebuked me.

"As if I care about her" I rolled my eyes. "Well you need to" she muttered again. "okay Whatever" I responded just to stop her. "I'll go and see if dinner is ready then" saying that Elina left. Then I finally turned back to Aaron who is too delightful today comparing to the other days. I'm confused just yesterday he injured his leg and today he looked too fine.

"How's your leg? Does it still hurt? Did your mom scold you for hurting your leg?" I asked at once. "Mom scolded me a little bit not much. The pain is gone. I can walk too" He muttered already jumping on the bed while giggling.

"Hm so why do you look so happy today? Too happy to see me? Or anything else huh?" I asked Aaron as he's being extremely joyous now. He only giggled in response.

"Now I'm really curious what is making you do happy. Tell me champ" I asserted again. "You will know yourself if you wait a bit" he said making me more curious but before I could say something I heard the bathroom door open but didn't turn to see who was it yet. Suddenly Aaron shouted right infront of me "Leeraa" and I turned to see if I heard him right.

There she was standing. She was yet again unexpected for me to see her here so I was a little stunned to see her here at first. But in the next second I felt a contented to see her here when her face turned entirely blank and puzzled seeing me like she didn't even expect me to be here. She didn't move from her place, standing there like an absolute statue.

"Leera, why are you standing there? Come heree" Aaron muttered and still she didn't move a bit as if she clearly didn't hear him out. Without a minute longer Aaron run to her and pulling her by hand bragged her towards me. She only kept staring at me blankly. No voice came out of her mouth for a while.

"Leera, what happened?" Aaron asked her tugging her sleeve of the lilac sweater she's currently wearing. It was then when she finally returned to her senses. "N-Nothing, I'm alright... " she bended to Aaron's level and continued "Aaron, I'll goo. Tell your mom I'm going. See you another day" she gave him a smile but his face turned into a disheartened one.

Before she could take a step further Aaron tugged her sleeve again stopping her. "You said you will have dinner with us!" He said pouting. "Another time sweetheart! It's latee. I need to go" she answered eagerly, just like she wants to run away from here anyhow.

I knew Aaron wouldn't let her go this easily as he is also a stubborn ass. But before he could do anything to make her stop from going Elina came in. "Hey, come on everyone.. Dinner is served." "Mom, Leera said she won't be joining us in dinner. She will go home" Aaron frowned in a adorable way but I knew very this little evil kid is only acting just to make her stop. I would literally never understand what he sees in her or how are even they so close.

As their drama continues I checked my phone going through some mails.

"Leera, just a while ago you agreed to have dinner with us" Elina uttered. Leera was out of words to reply "I- hmm I actually... " "Come on. You are not going now. You will have dinner and then you will leave" Elina stated. "It's getting late.. so i think it would be better to go.. and I need to.. " before she could finish Elina started again "Azezal can drop you no worries. He would be going home too so he can easily drop you on his way"

I sensed as Leera stole a glance at me like she wanted to see my reaction at mentioning I would drive her home. But I kept my eyes on my phone screen. They all pretended like I wasn't here so what's with watching their ongoing drama.

"No.. I don't want to cause you guys trouble... " Leera tried again. "It's absolutely okay. Dinner is already served and after that Azezal would drive you home." Elina turned to me and asked "you are okay with driving her home right?"

I stared at Elina and again at Leera. Her eyes were clearly saying she didn't want to stay here a bit longer and I knew the reason why. Only for me.

"I'm fine with it" I murmured and excused myself as my phone started ringing. After I was done with the call I went straight to the dining room. There that bitch Carla was so eagerly waiting for me. She came running to me and desperately hugged me. "I missed you, Azezal" she muttered. I didn't hug her back nor did say anything.

After breaking the frustrating hug she was about to kiss me. I stepped back nevertheless and walked away from her pretending I never saw her. Her burning glances on me but I never gave a fuck. I texted Remor to send me some definite files and documents.

Then Aaron, Leera and Elina came in. I looked up at Leera and a small grin appeared on my face and disappeared in a matter of seconds knowing she miserably failed at her excuses to avoid the dinner but actually me. She looked at me while I was looking at her but she briskly looked away. She sat down just opposite to me and Aaron sat down beside her. Carla made her way and sat down beside me.

"Baby, if you would have told me earlier that you were coming I would have asked to make your favourite dishes" Carla murmured to me touching my hand which was on the table. I noticed how Leera's eyes caught her hand touching mine and she unawarely kept staring at our hands. Her face vacant, void to express any emotion.

"There was no need. I'm okay with anything" I muttered not even bothering to jerk her hand off my hand as I kept scrolling the phone with my other hand.

LEERA POV

My eyes kept fixed at Carla's hand which remained on Azezal's as she kept drawing circles on his hand and he didn't trouble to move his hand away from her. Though why would he? She's literally his fiancèe. She can touch her anytime and anywhere. It kept distracting me and I subconsciously kept staring at their hands.

"Leera?" Elina called me out and it was then I finally came apart from my futile thoughts. "Yes?" "What happened? You look distracted?" She asked slightly worried. "I'm fine.. it's just perhaps feeling a little unwell" I forced a smile and she nodded.

"Ohh Carla.. you know Leera right? You guys obviously talked before" Elina said to Carla who's attention is only on Azezal right now as she kept on smiling watching him working on phone the whole time which I found creepy not gonna lie. Yet I didn't start a conversation with her nor said even a hi. It's not even she tried to greet me. Well she is only focused on Azezal since I have seen her hopefully she didn't even notice me yet until I got mentioned.

"This girl? I've seen her probably" she muttered and I sealed my lips in a thin line surely because of the awkwardness and discomfiture I'm feeling right now. Azezal's eyes shot up to mine at her answer which only lasted for a mere second and back to his phone screen.

"I thought you knew her well. She's Louis's friend. She came in your engagement" Elina muttered again kinda stunned at Carla's response. "I have no idea about my brother's friends" Carla asserted as if she is least interested in this conversation which I found kinda rude although I noticed she always speaks insolently.

"What are we waiting for? Let's start eating" Azezal said finally breaking the awkward atmosphere. "Father. Father isn't here yet. We never start eating before father arrives" Elina uttered. "He said he won't join us tonight for dinner. He went somewhere with his whore" Azezal replied and I was absolutely shocked at this. His father is also fucked up like him? I watched Aaron who was sitting beside me. How can he literally utter such kinda word infront of a kid? Then I tried to read Elina's and Carla's expressions which were neutral meaning that they knew and it's ovious that it's not the first time they are hearing this.

Probably this family is entirely fucked up and I wasn't capable of seeing this before? I thought to myself.

Then we started to eat and the entire dining session was silent which was helpful to me actually. I just didn't want to engage in any more conversations and make myself more awkward with the situation. There were so many varieties of dishes. Everything looked delicious and appetizing. Though I couldn't even eat much but whatever I ate was actually taste worthy. If I was served with this much food at home or even anywhere else I would have savored it upto my contentment but eating on the same table as him made me lose my appetite.

And as I watched Carla flirting and clinging to him this kinda ruined my mood to eat too. She even feed Azezal with her spoon. Azezal didn't refuse her or disregard her in no way. It was like he was enjoying what she was doing too. I knew very well all of these aren't part of my concern but I don't have any idea why everything seemed bothering me. I just wanted to get away from here anyhow.

After we all were finished with dinner we were served desserts. "Woow icecream, my favourite" Aaron exclaimed with joy and a smile popped my face watching him. He licked and savored the spoon filled with ice cream well everytime. "Aaron, this is the last time you are eating icecream this week I'm telling you" Elina stated and Aaron frowned hearing her. "Not the last time" He murmured slowly to himself which probably only I heard as it wasn't audible much. A small smile formed on my lips as I compressed my laughter watching him.

I was shifting my gaze from Aaron to somewhere else and unconditionally I glanced his way catching his eyes on me. He didn't even move his eyes off me nor seemed effected at the fact I caught him staring at me. He kept looking at me shamelessly while his fiancee kept blabbering stuffs to him. His eyes are icy and he looked like he's thinking something deep while looking at me. I downed my gaze to my ice cream bowl not able to look at him anymore. I knew I'm feeling something but what it actually is I didn't know and I myself refused to find it out too. I senselessly kept stirring the icecream which was filled in my bowl.

"Leera, why ain't you eating your ice cream? It's melting" Aaron muttered as he finished his one already by now. "Do you want to eat my one?" I asked him whispering close to his ear. "Why? Don't you like ice cream?" He asked anyway but his eyes reflected that he would gladly accept my part of ice cream.

"No I don't feel like eating now honey. You can eat mine if you want" I smiled and he rejoiced. "Thankyouu" he took my bowl of ice cream eagerly but accidentally the spoon fell on the floor. Elina was so far giving him dead glances. "Sorry" Aaron muttered quickly. "It's okay dear, I'll get it" saying that I bent to pick up the spoon but what unintentionally grabbed my attention was speechless. I became dumbfounded and astounded.

Carla's hand kept moving along Azezal's crotch brazenly which was literally repulsive to me. This mere sight disgusted me. Is this normal? Maybe for them. It's not like Azezal didn't sleep with her yet but the sight itself made my inner self burn so well. Again Azezal of course probably slept with a lot of other girls and I knew that quite well. Nothing's new. I closed my eyes and got up putting the spoon on the table.

I glanced their way only to see their expressions. Azezal is on his phone as if nothing's happening under the table and Carla seemed so excited and thrilled at the same time with what she is doing.

This was somehow making me feel worse now. I didn't want to stay a minute longer. I stood up "I think I'll go now, thanks for having me. The dinner was really nice" I muttered indicating to Elina forcing a smile on my face.

"Do come again sometimes. I feel lonely too. I'm so happy you came here to visit us" Eline said graciously, smiling to me. "It's my pleasure" I tried to smile genuinely this time. She's such a nice lady honestly. I turned to Aaron "Byee honey, see you next time. Don't hurt yourself again"

"I'll miss you. Meet me soon" He hugged me and I ruffled his hair. Aaron has been such a sweetheart to me that he is from the very begining. I loved that he considered me close enough to be his friend. "Okay dear. Take care. I'll bring chocolates for you next time again" I smiled and he smiled back.

I'm about to leave now. Didn't want to bade and greet goodbye to the remaining people as they were already busy with what they were doing. No urge to talk to them rather disturb their potential activities.

"Leera wait, Azezal will drop you" Elina spoke up stopping me from behind. "No thanks, I'll go myself" I muttered clenching my bag tight enough. "Leera, it's late. He will drop you home" Elina said again. "It's okay. I'll manage" before this could go any further I rushed out from there.

I sighed as I walked out of the mansion. The breeze is cold enough to shiver my body. It was warmer inside but it's actually freezing cold outside here. At least I feel better here.

Today was undeniably a pathetic day for me. If I even had a hint that he would be there today and I had to notice anything like that I would rather face everything else than being in this kinda situation. Only if I knew he would come, I would never had visited there at the first place. Only if I knew I would get to see anything like that I would never have even looked at his direction a single time. It was only for Aaron I visited there.

Even after all these shouldn't be any of my concern I couldn't even deny the fact that it concerned me. But I'm glad I didn't speak to him even a word the entire time even if we were in the same room. I had no urge to speak to him after whatever he had done to me anyway and now I'm even more sicken with him. His thoughts disgust me!

The mere thought once I was in love with this man seems like a joke to me now. This man and me? Never. We are so far apart. I wish I knew that before. I wish I knew the real him that time. Only if I knew.... I sighed

I scanned my phone. It's almost 9.00 PM not so late but it is actually late as my home is a bit far from here. I started walking while searching for a cab. And suddenly a car stopped by me. I looked by my side at it's direction.

Undoubtedly I knew it was him as I slightly saw the reflection of him through the glass even if it's dark here. Why is he here now?

And I knew this will absolutely be the part of tonight I will be hating the most........
