I froze for a moment. The thought of getting tossed into the cerulean waters had made me shiver a thousand times, but at this split second I had not shivered. "Yes, even if it means I die." Kyriella nods, "Raise ye' flags, we're heading north of east!" she yells as she left.

This was it. This was the moment I die. In just 2 days from now, we'll meet. I looked down at my palms, dried and injured. Just a week ago I was just a mere merchant tending to a bakery, now I'm in the middle of the sea. Sorrounded by endless bodies of oceans.

All because of a legend. All because I caught a God's eye. "(Y/n)?" I blinked. "Yes, Jack?" I smiled while he sighs in response, "Stop acting like you're okay. You're not. I know you well enough to see through your eyes." Said he as he touched my shoulders.

"(Y/n), you don't have to act tough, I'm here to protect you. I promised." Jack whispered as he inched forward, I looked at him and before he could wrap his arms around me the ship tilts forward.

Waves crash from side to side as the ship came to a ruckus. I clutch onto the railings while Jack trips backwards. "Jack! Are you okay?" I asked and held out a hand.

As he stood up, another big wave came as he clung onto the railings. My eyes darted around and laid onto Kyriella's. "Raise ye' flags! A storm is coming!" She roared.

Grey clouds started to form, as the winds began to whirl around. The cerulean waters began to crash side to side more violently. "What is happening?" Panic struck me, my heart began to palpitate.

Yereva looked at me dead in the eyes, "You have made the God's angry, (y/n)." She stated coldly. Jack furrowed his brows, "Who are you to blame? (Y/n) has nothing to do with this!" Jack yelled as thunder strikes from a distance.

"Stay out of this, boy," Yereva steps forward, "You are a great danger to all of us, (y/n)." Said she, taking me from the wrist as she ran while I stumbled from behind.

The door came to a slam while Yereva huffs and puffs. "I knew it...I knew I should've stopped Kyriella from taking you two in!" Yereva bursted out of anger. She scowled with furrowed brows, her teeth gritted and fists balled.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Yereva!" I cried, feeling every inch of my frustrations. "This...this is happening because of you! If something ever happens to my love Kyriella, you are to blame!" Yereva yelled with tears streaming down her face.

She walked towards me, our face inches away from each other as she taps her finger to my heart. "I will kill you before the God's get to you." She whispered low, her eyes dead and her tone cold. I felt frozen. How could someone look so fragile become so poisonous? I do not know.

But one thing is for sure, everyone is slowly losing their mind.

Jack pushes Yereve away and stood in front of me. My mouth opened but did not dare speak. I tilt my head down, accepting my demise. It is true, it's true that I am to blame.

"You think of yourself so pitiful, yet you do not pity her. She already lost what is hers. Do you think she doesn't blame herself enough already? Blame me! Blame me instead! Blame me if something ever happens to your love!" Jack shouts in anger.

I put a hand to his shoulder as he stops. He looked at me, my visions blurred from my own tears as I broke down. "I just want my sister back. That is all I ask for. If something ever happens to anyone in this boat, I will take full responsibility. You may hang me, tie me, push me to the waters. Just...just let me find my sister first. Let me see her before I go."

Jack looks at me in surprise, his mouth agape. "Don't say that." He firmly respond. The ship began to shake once more, "Stay here, and don't get out." Yereva ordered as she left the cabin.

I wipe away my tears and sat down. "(Y/n), you aren't to blame." Said he, "You don't have to lie, Jack. We both know I am." I responded. He only looked this time and pat my head, the palm of his hand going through my hair while I laid my head to his chest.

"I love you, (y/n)."
