"I love you, (y/n)." Jack said, our eyes locked between each other's gaze. "Jack, I..." He leans forward and touches my shoulder, "I know...that you don't feel the same as I do...you made that clear." Jack mutters quietly.

His gaze drops to the floor, keeping his sullen facade deep beneath his face. I touch my elbow, feeling awkward and discomfort from the situation. Jack utters a laugh, "Look at you being all shy, don't worry (y/n), nothing will change! I promise." He smiles this time.

"I'm sorry..." I bite my lip down as he looked at me with a beaming smile. "You have nothing to be sorry about. It's just...in our situation I'd hope say it now or never." Said he as he stood up. Jack's eyes laid infront of the door, "I better check out what's happening. Stay here, I beg of you, (y/n)." He said with demand from his tone. I nod.

"Be safe." I utter out as the door comes to a creaky close. Thunder bolted once more from outside as droplets of rain poured down from the woodem ceilings. The air was becoming too chilly, almost shivery. I took the white wool blanket from behind me and put it above my head to drown down the daunting strikes from every bolt.

I closed my eyes and rest my head upon the wooden walls. Tears fell down my cheeks, I didn't even know I had tears left within me. But alas, I felt the heavy weight off of me. Even if the salty tears stings my eyes.

"(Y/n)."

My eyes bolted open as I heard the whispering wooe of my name. I looked around, looking at every cracks kf the open room.

BAM!

BAM!

BAM!

"Open up, (y/n)!"

The voice became louder. "Come on little bird, you're making it quite hard for me. I'm growing impatient." Said the voice. It's no doubt that it is who it is. Merrik. I sat still. I didn't know why, but I just did.

My palms began to sweat and my heart beats as fast as my breath hitched. I put a hand to my mouth to quiet down while tears ran down my face like waterfalls. I was not prepared. I don't knkw if I was ever prepared.

"(Y/N)! WHERE ARE YOU? (Y/N)!"

Merrik screams this time, echoing through the whole door. This time I wonder, where is everybody? "Jack?" I whisper in hopes for him to hear my pitiful call.

Thunder strikes again from outside, this time louder than before.

"Found you."
