Leah POV

"How long are they going to stare at the clothes?" Clarke turned her head to me. We had been sitting next to each other on the bed for almost forty minutes, and we still hadn't gotten changed even though we were leaving in twenty minutes.

"Well, this is taking a considerably short amount of time considering it's these two," she whispered back. "And they are very careful with the clothes they choose to go out in."

"Didn't they just go to a party last night?"

"Yeah, but that doesn't matter to them. It's like they have some kind of superpower to not get hungover."

"I can imagine," I agreed quietly, keeping my gaze on the two identical women who had their backs to us. They stood in front of what seemed like over a hundred pieces of clothing, and they muttered to each other quietly, picking up one from the pile before dropping it again.

"How long does this usually take them?" I asked, becoming slightly concerned if we were going to be ready on time.

"Well, usually they take a good couple of-"

"Perfect!" I jumped at the sudden outburst from the two twins. They both held a dress in their hands, one blue, another purple.

"Miss Leah, this one for you," the one on the right stated as she handed me the purple dress. I took it with a 'thanks' and observed it. It was gorgeous.

It had a spaghetti strap and was short enough to show some skin without looking like a stripper. It was a dark purple and matched my complexion really well. These girls are good.

"Damn, this is really pretty. Thank you, guys," I said as I looked away from the dress to the twins.

"No worries," they said in unison with a small shrug. It was then that I eyed a pair of fishnet stockings near the top of the pile.

"Could you pass me those fishnet stockings, please?" I pointed to it, and they looked at it then back at me.

"But don't you want to show those gorgeous legs of yours?" The right one asked with a pout.

"Oh, back off, Jamie. She isn't interested," Clarke strutted out of the bathroom in her blue dress Julia must've given her when I wasn't looking. "And just give her the stockings." Jamie pouted, but reached for the stockings and threw them over to me. I caught them and made my way to the bathroom to get changed.

It didn't take long to get changed, but it took at least ten minutes to put on my makeup. It didn't help with the scars on my arms, but thankfully the stockings covered the ones on my legs.

I walked out to see the three girls all dressed and ready.

"Geez, you guys were quick."

The twins snickered and Clarke rolled her eyes at them.

"Shut up, you're so immature," she said as she walked over to me. I was confused for a moment, but then I realised what I had said and I felt my cheeks heat up slightly. Clarke stood in front of me, and she moved her hands to my hair. She combed her fingers through my hair, causing it the soften a bit and add some volume.

"There, we're all ready," Clarke stated once she had finished. "Let's go."

We all walked out of the room and down the stairs to where the boys waited for us at the cars. Vlado and Theo were leaned against the car talking to each other, but they stopped once they had noticed us walking towards them.

Theo was the first one to react with a whistle.

"Damn, ladies. You really know how to dress up. We'll have to drag the guys off of you three tonight," Theo smirked, causing the three of us to laugh.

"Yeah, yeah, just drive us to the club," Clarke rolled her eyes with a smile.

Theo put an offended hand to his chest and put a look of shock on his face. "And what makes you think I'm driving?"

"Cause you're dressed like a chauffeur." Theo looked down at his full black attire with a semi-formal jacket, then back up at Clarke with a real offended look this time, causing me to snicker. "Now, chop-chop! Take us to the club."

Theo looked at Vlado, who shrugged, before looking down with a sigh and trudging to the driver's seat. The twins giggled as we walked to the car and hopped in, not expecting to see Theo now wearing a chauffeur's hat and sunglasses. He looked in the front view mirror as he spoke.

"So, where to ladies?" Vlado cleared his throat, earning a side-eye from Theo. "And dummie."

* * * * * * * *

It didn't take long for us to get to the club. Theo almost ran a few red lights but was stopped just in the nick of time.

We all got out of the car and I looked at the long line of people with a sigh.

"It's gonna be a long wait," I stated, but Clarke just looked at me.

"Not for us," Theo said with a grin, and Vlado led us to the front of the line. We got to the bouncer and he looked at us.

"Ah, Mr Sanchez! Long time no see. Enjoy your evening." The bouncer held the door open and the others walked through. I gave the man a small 'thanks' before walking in to, and he closed the door behind me. I had to blink a couple of times before I could get used to all of the lighting.

It was really cool. It was a big area covered with people. On the right was a bar, where I saw a few people standing and sitting by. On the other side were a couple of doors, which probably led to some private rooms and bathrooms.

In the middle of the room were a lot of people. Like, a lot of people. They all danced to the music that was being played at the front of the room, jumping up and down to the beat. Colourful lights shone on the dance floor and some on the other sides of the room.

I don't remember the last time I went to a club, but I couldn't wait to have fun again.

"Leah!" My head whipped to the side to Clarke as she spoke considerably louder than outside. "Do you wanna get some drinks?"

I immediately shook my head, causing Clarke to send me a skeptical look, but she shrugged and headed to the bar. Ever since the first night Lucas got drunk, I never had alcohol in the house. I didn't want a rerun of that night, but it didn't help. He still drank. He just went out to clubs and came home and forced me to do things I didn't want to.

I shook my head. No. Tonight I was gonna have fun, and not focus on the past.

I looked around, trying to find anybody I recognised, but they were all gone. I thought I had seen Vlado's semi-formal black suit, but the person was out of view before I could get a better look. I looked to the crowded dance floor, feeling slightly nervous at the thought of being around so many people without somebody I knew, but I quickly shook it off. I wasn't going to spend the night just walking around, looking for them. I was gonna have fun.

So with that one goal in mind, I headed to the dance floor. I maneuvered my way past people dancing and made it to the middle of the dance floor.

I felt awkward for a few minutes by myself, but I eventually let the rhythm of the music control my dance moves. I swayed my hips from side to side, feeling the beat of the music vibrate on the floor through my body. I let a smile come onto my face and I raised my arms into the air above me.

I forgot how much I loved to dance. Although, it was a lot more fun with friends.

I had only been dancing for about twenty minutes when I felt an unwelcome pair of hands latch onto my waist. I looked over my shoulder and saw a man I had never seen before. He looked like he was around my age, but he wasn't what I would consider to be good-looking.

"Hello, gorgeous," he flirted with a smirk. "You here alone tonight?"

I looked back in front of me. "No, they're just getting a drink, then they'll be back."

"Well, lucky me, I get you all to myself," his voice was at my ear now, and I shivered when I felt his breath against my ear, but not in a good way.

"Uh, no, you don't," I stated and tried to push myself out of his grasp, but his grip on me just tightened.

"Uh, uh, uh, no. You can't dress like that and expect me not to do something to you," he muttered next to my ear, and I felt frozen when his lips latched onto my neck. No, I was frozen. I just stood there. I couldn't do anything. I just stood in the middle of the dance floor with some random guy kissing my neck. Because this felt all too familiar. And I didn't feel this man's hands on me at that moment.

I felt Lucas'. I felt Lucas' hands keeping me in his grasp so tightly that it would leave bruises. I felt Lucas' lips moving against my neck, leaving marks that I didn't want to have. I felt and heard Lucas' voice taunting me. Not the stranger's voice. His.

"Hey!" The strong voice slowly pulled me back into reality, and thankfully, made the guy pull away from my neck. But his grip on me stayed the same. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!"

I didn't turn around though. I didn't want to see who was there. But...a part of me was curious, so I turned around.

The first person I saw was the stranger who stood right in front of me, too close for comfort. I stared at him horrified as he sent me a wink with a smirk. "Listen, buddy; this isn't any of your business, so you should just go."

"Actually, this is definitely my business. And you are going to take your hands off of her, right now."

The stranger let out a sigh of irritation before whipping around. "Listen, she's enjoying it, so why don't you go-" The man stopped himself, and I could finally see why. Vlado stood right in front of him, towering over the now cowering man.

"M-Mr Sanchez," he addressed Vlado. "I'm so sorry, I didn't know she was yours."

Vlado's jaw tensed. "She is not mine, she is her own person. But regardless of that, you should not be touching any woman like that, especially not in the vicinity of my club." Vlado took a step towards the man, now standing right in front of him with his hands clenched as firsts by his sides. "And if it wasn't clear enough, you are banned from here. Don't even bother trying to sneak back in here or into any other of my establishments. So, get out now, or I'll personally 'escorted' you out."

The man didn't waste a single second and rushed out of the club. Meanwhile, I was still frozen on the spot hugging myself as Vlado stood a few steps in front of me.

Once he saw the state I was in, he glided towards me in just two steps.

"Are you alright? I'm so sorry I didn't come sooner." Vlado's voice was muffled by my dizzying array of thoughts. What the hell just happened? Why did I have to deal with this here of all places? The one time I try to have fun.

I felt Vlado's hands on my shoulders, but I was still stuck in my thoughts.

"Leah..." Thank god Vlado was here, but how did he even know I was in trouble. I mean, we were in the middle of such a busy club, and he found me at the right time.

"Leah." But what would have happened if he didn't find me in time? Would I have gotten...raped? No, I don't want to think about that. I can't think about that. I already feel like I want to throw up just from remembering the man's hands touching me.

Why did this have to happen to me? Was it something I did? God, what could I have even done to deserve this? I wouldn't wish this upon anyone. But, apparently, I did something bad enough to get this. Maybe I did deserve it. Maybe I should've just stayed with Lucas. I would have all of the bad things happen to me there, but at least it would be from somebody I know. That has to be better, right? Maybe I should go back there and just accept what he has for me. Yeah. Mary can stay here with Clarke and I can go back there to be with-

"Leah!" My head washed away of thoughts as the voice echoed through my head. My head whipped up. Vlado was standing in front of me with his hands on my shoulders, and his face was full of concern. "Are you ok? Did he do anything?"

I managed to shake my head, and he let out a relieved sigh.

"Thank god..." I heard him mutter before he held out his hand. "Come on, I'm taking you back to my place." I just looked at his hand, gripping my arms tightly. Vlado just sighed and gently tore my hands off my arms. They had left marks from my fingernails, and Vlado let out another sigh.

"I'm so sorry, Leah. No woman should have to go through this, but especially not you," he mumbled as he took off his jacket and hung it on my shoulders, giving me some sense of safety. I let him take my hand and lead me off the dance floor. As he walked, he fished out his phone from his pocket and called somebody and started to talk to them, but I felt too disoriented to actually listen to what he was saying.

"Get in the car, Leah," before I knew it, we were outside, standing in front of the car we used to drive here. I looked at it for a moment, before I tried to ask him something. Keyword; tried. My throat couldn't form the words, but Vlado seemed to understand anyway.

"They're going to have someone pick them up, now get in. I want you to get back as soon as possible." He said and satisfied with the answer, I got in the car. Vlado got in the driver's seat, and I joined him in the front. It was still dark outside, so there were street lights along the road that kept me awake. But they didn't help after about five minutes of driving.

I leaned my head against the window, and closed my eyes, falling into a deep, yet troubled sleep.
