Angel was literally counting his last seconds. He had lost too much blood already and there was just no hope for him. Still in this situation, he was worried about his little sister. She was in the clutches of a monster and he could do nothing but watch as he torture her and break her spirit bit by bit.
All of a sudden, the echoing of blasts reached his sensitive ears, followed by the frequent vibration of the walls. He gritted his teeth seeing the cracks that started to appear on the roof as the walls trembled.
"Took you long enough!" He scowled as someone appeared in front of his cell.
"Oi! I will leave you here if you complained again." The familiar tattooed man spoke.
"Get me out already, Ecrin! Before this fucking ceiling collapse on top of me!" Angel growled out, having lost his patience all together with his blood.
Ecrin started to fumble with the chain of keys. Finally finding the right key, he opened the door and stepped inside, ignoring the earthquake in the cell. Ecrin bit his lower lip, his chest tightening at the sight of Angel.
"I'm sorry it fucking took so much time." He apologized briefly and got him out of the chains.
"Ehh. You are apologizing? It's new! You all have found me at all is still impressing, judging how Gianni had technically wiped my existence." Angel stated, his voice was low like a small murmur as Ecrin put him on his back. Ecrin frowned at Gianni's name.
"I can walk!" He complained with a light growl.
"Oh c'mon pretty boy. It isn't like the first time I'm giving you a piggy back ride. It is the third time in a row that I'm saving your ass." Ecrin stated the obvious but his words held mockery.
"I will choke you to death, bastard!" Angel growled but started to cough hysterically as pain inflamed in his chest.
Ecrin sighed in worry as he got out of the base, eyeing the deadbodies scattered across the area. The whole sight was gruesome but it was nothing out of ordinary for Ecrin. He had grown up in this sight just like Angel. Now being Dominic's right hand man since last 8 years, he had gotten used to it. It did not bother him anymore.
"Ecrin..." Angel said quietly as the base behind them collapsed finally. His family and Dominic's family's guards were lined up, some interrogating two of men who were guarding this place. Rest of them were already dead.
Ecrin hummed in response. His respect for Angel increased after he found him and freed him from captivity. Being captive for a little more than two years and enduring so much torture everyday, his spirit still lived. Gianni had not managed to break it yet and Ecrin admired this about Angel.
"Save my sister before it's too late." Saying this, Angel finally lost consciousness. The pain had finally managed to make a tear slid down his cheek.
Ecrin put him down on the hospital bed in one of the limousine where a team of doctors were waiting with everything ready. They immediately get started on treating him while Ecrin sat down on the other side, watching everything. He pulled his phone out and called his boss after taking a deep breath.
Dominic answered the call after fifth ring.
"I found him. His state is terrible but he will pull through. Miss Eleanora is not here now but it seems like she was here first."
Ecrin heard nothing for a moment but suddenly William's voice rang through.
"Take care of my brother and bring him back to me safely."
"Yes, sir!" Ecrin stated and without another word, William hung up.
William put the phone down on the table where Dominic had kept his gun. He looked up at Dominic who was standing in front of an unconscious male. He had blood dripping down his chin and his face had uncountable bruises. He looked barely conscious, tied up to a chair.
Dominic flexed his blood dripping knuckle and looked back at William.
"I want to beat him more but he is the only one who can lead us to Nora." He cursed at the unconscious male who was whimpering ever so slightly.
"He's just a boy." Vincent said as he entered in the room.
"Boy? Who acted like your sister's boyfriend and sent her to literal hell!" Dominic rolled his eyes.
William kept quiet, running his hand through his hair. He moved towards the captive who was starting to gain consciousness somewhat.
"Xavier, right?" He asked and placed his hands on the chair and leaned down to look at the damage Dominic had inflicted on his face.
"P-p-please no m-more." Xavier cried out, tears rolled down his eyes profusely.
"I-I-I t-told y-you e-everything I-I-I k-knew."
"And, I appreciate it. My brother whom we almost presumed dead is rescued because of your 'generosity'. But I still have not found my sister. You are young and I can understand Gianni forced you to do everything but I cannot forgive you for what my sister must be enduring."
Xavier trembled as William placed a gun on his forehead.
"D-d-don't k-kil--"
"Be Quiet. I only want to hear what I need to hear. Nothing else."
Xavier cried out as he pulled the trigger but nothing happened. He looked up in William's eyes fearfully.
"There is only one bullet." Saying this, he pulled the trigger again, earning a yelp from the young boy.
"P-please please stop!"
As he pulled the trigger again, Xavier started to blabber the name and location of every other base of Gianni. Also telling him about the main base that simply he called an 'Organization' and their real hidden motive.
Dominic stared blankly as his words fell in his ears while Vincent was shaking his head. William took a step back and lit a cigarette.
"How actually did he knew about this?" Vincent asked after a moment of silence.
"Y-your father, A-alexander..." Xavier barely managed to say these words before he passed out exhausted and traumatized.
