"You are not hurt somewhere right?" Damon asked out in concern as he looked at Nora up and down.
Eleanora shook her head and smiled slightly.
Finally the situation was in control. Damon and Vincent stayed behind with Nora as others went to check up on the mansion.
The dead bodies were covering the entire entrance. William just shook his head. He was well aware of the person who did this, who helped them at such difficult time. But as stubborn that person was, he would never come in front.
The next day Eleanora was taken back to the mansion. This time she was greeted by a fuming Alexander. But Damon didn't let him say a word against her.
Alexander was angry because William had banned Lana's entry in the mansion. Last night, William commanded to kill Lana just like her brother Joshua but after lots of begging and pleadings, he finally convinced to let her stay alive. But her whole existence was banished from the country in few hours.
Days went by in a blur. Eleanora was content with every little thing she had. Her brothers.
William was still scary, stern and everything. He never left any chance to make her nervous under his presence.
Vincent's concern for her was growing. He was still that same tough but at least he always talk to her everyday even if it was just a small 'hello'.
Hunter and Lucifer were still the tough ones to crack. They were extremely rude to her.
Damon was becoming her favourite brother. He never left her feel alone.
Angel wasn't usually around her. He was always out.
Hades was always sleeping. Nora had observed that Hades just loved sleeping. He could sleep the whole day and still yawn the other day. It was almost like he was possessed with sleeping demons.
Nora giggled at the thought.
She was walking out of her room with the thought of spending some time in the garden.
William trusted her enough now to let her roam around the mansion with no guards breathing down on her neck.
She moved towards the swings and sat down. She kept thinking about the way her life changed. Even her brothers were cruel to this world but there was something inside her heart that told her that they will never hurt her. She felt almost safe living in her brothers' presence.
A small gentle push on her back startled her. She tilted her neck to the side to look at Damon who stood beside her.
"Hello Eleanora. Having a good day I see." He said in a gentle tone.
Nora grinned.
"Hiii."
"What were you thinking so hard and smiling about?" He asked and came to stand in front of her.
She furrowed her brows and replied back.
"No. It's nothing like that. I was just thinking about some random things."
Damon nodded his head slightly.
"You didn't went there wherever you go everyday." Nora said in a soft tone.
Damon froze a little at her words a little but then he smiled.
"Changes are good sometimes." He replied shortly.
Nora nodded her head a little suddenly remembering the words once Damon said in past. 'We always can't sit back to cry on our past. The future is always in our hands.'
"William is calling you in his study." He told her.
Nora immediately went still.
"Umm am I in trouble?" She asked nervously.
Damon just shook his head. This small reassurance didn't eased her nerves though.
Its been quite sometime since William had last summoned her like this. The last bad time included the one, she went to meet him after she tried to run away.
She bit her lip.
"I must go then. He might be angry if I make him wait for long." She rushed out and hastily stood up almost losing her footing.
Damon chuckled at this.
"I don't think so." He looked up like pointing with his eyes.
Nora followed his vision line and her eyes made contact with William who was standing upstairs in the balcony of his study, taking big drags of his cancer stick/cigarette. His phone pressed to his ear and his piercing gray eyes watching his siblings.
"Will you come?" Nora asked while turning towards Damon who shook his head with a apologetic smile.
"Have some work to do. You shouldn't be scared or nervous. He is our brother and he will never hurt you intentionally." Nora smiled lightly at this and turned to move inside the mansion doors.
After taking a deep breath, she gently knocked on the door three times before stepping inside. She could never understand whenever she enters inside his study, why she always feel like William is her principal and she was some bad kid who got in trouble.
William was still standing there inhaling the toxic fumes in. He finished it shortly and his long legs moved fast to sit on his chair.
Nora silently watched him while fiddling with her fingers.
He raised his brow intimidating her more.
She gulped.
"You don't need my permission to sit Eleanora!" He stated.
She immediately took a seat on the chair without breaking the eye contact.
"Erm D-damon said you called me." She said.
He nodded his head.
"I wanted to discuss related to your studies. Since your school breaks are almost over." He told her.
"Oh." She mumbled.
"There are two options on which we can work upon."
"What are they?"
"I can assign some private tutors for you or you wish to start a new school?"
"A new school?"
"The school I am talking about is the one where Angel and Hades studies." He told her.
"Umm. I think the new school will be nice." She said without hesitating.
It was actually fast because William narrowed his eyes almost like in suspiciousness. She read his expressions and shook her head.
"Erm don't think I am planning on running or something. I won't escape." She mumbled.
It's not like I have anywhere to go or any reason to escape. She thought in her mind.
"I will complete all formalities and the stuff you need will be available to you by the end of this week."
He was just finished when his phone again started beeping. He glanced down at the screen and dismissed Nora.
Eleanora skipped downstairs towards the kitchen to help the maids to prepare dinner.
On the dining table, Hunter, Lucifer and twins were not present. Other than them Alexander and her rest of brothers were there.
"I got a call from Allesandro!" Alexander suddenly announced. He sounded almost amused. The way his eyes were twinkling with something 'dark' worried Nora.
Others seemed surprised but William's eyes darkened a little. Vincent looked angry. Nora stared at their expressions confused.
"What did he said?" Damon asked looking a little tensed.
Nora observed them silently by taking a small bite of her sandwich.
"Nothing new. Was just asking about the new addition in our family." Alexander replied, his eyes turning to glance at Nora for a short moment before moving to stare at William.
Nora frowned a little at his words.
Damon was about to speak but Vincent cut him off.
"Don't talk about her like she is an object."
Alexander mockingly raised his hands up in air a little.
The rest of the dinner was done in awkward silence. She quickly took her leave after finishing and went upstairs.
She changed into one of her night dress. She dimmed her room's light and crawled under her bedsheets with a sigh.
After a little while of tossing and turning, eventually she let the sleep take over her.
Some minutes later, the door of her room was opened and Damon stepped inside. He stared at her sleeping face for some moments with a relieved smile.
He moved out of her room and gently shut the door. William was standing there smoking and waiting for him.
"She's sleeping. I don't think if it is needed to continue mixing those medicines in her food. But we have to keep her in check. " Damon said in a concerned tone.
When they found out that Nora was taking sleeping pills and after her almost dying or trying to commit suicide by overdosing, they immediately consulted with some specialists. When they found out about her past, it was clearly evident that she must be suffering from trauma. That's when they came into action.
That man who ruined Eleanora's innocence was no more. William took care of this matter rather personally.
William nodded his head in response and they both moved towards the torture cells.
The midnight was the time when they unleash their true evil side.
*************
Next sweet morning, the beautiful ray of sunshines peeked through the blinds of Eleanora's room.
She groaned a little before turning over her side. She slowly started waking up, her face contorted in a grimace of pain. Something was off.
It didn't take her a moment to realize why was her stomach clenching hard in pain. Her eyes snapped open.
"Oh no." She mumbled under her breath before quickly sitting up with a quiet groan.
She hesitantly stepped out of the bed and lifted the comforter up to reveal badly tainted bed sheets with her blood.
She winced.
Her periods were as usually late but these seven days were going to be the most dreadful one.
**************
Feeling a little refreshed after a warm shower, she changed into some comfy jumpsuit and made her way downstairs.
The breakfast was already served. To her surprise only Lucifer, Hunter and Alexander were present there.
She waited patiently for Serenity to serve her food. Serenity sent her a quick smile and rushed out from the dining hall.
Alexander finished first and he directly went upstairs to his room.
"Hunter! You are babysitting her today!" Lucifer's voice gained Nora's attention.
"No! I have a meeting with Russians." Hunter almost like retorted back.
"No way in the hell! I am not babysitting her. It's not my turn. It's your turn!"
Eleanora sighed out loud at them suddenly feeling frustrated.
"I don't need anyone of you to babysit me. I can handle myself on my own."
"Nobody asked your opinion brat!" Hunter spat back at her.
Lucifer rolled his eyes.
Tears gathered in her eyes but she just looked down at her plate to hide them. Lucifer watched it with a weird look on his face.
"Look! You made her cry bro!" He commented.
Now she seriously wasn't able to keep her tears in.
"I am n.not c.crying." She told them in a trembling tone.
Hunter scoffed out loud at this.
"Ok.. As I am going to my tattoo club today. I will be taking her there." Lucifer said.
"Good for you." Hunter grumbled back.
"I don't want to go anywhere." Nora said.
"You can talk to William then, Eleanora!" Lucifer raised his brow.
"I will be going." She mumbled back in a defeated tone.
