For the first time in her life, Eleanora cried, she sobbed her hidden pain out from her heart as she embraced her father tightly. David held her tightly close to his chest. He so badly wanted to comfort her but nothing was coming out of his throat.
He was broken.
He lost the one he loved the most.
He lost his Acacia today.
She left him.
His heart cried knowing that she would be never be back.
They were standing in the midst of crowd wearing all black. The father and daughter cried as they watched her being buried in the soil.
Others gave them pitiful looks and gave them condolences silently.
David was about to take Eleanora back when suddenly his eyes fell on someone. His entire being shook as he recognized him immediately.
His hold around Nora tightened unconsciously.
Eleanora glanced at her father confused and then followed his vision line. Her eyes met with the person who stood some feet away from them. A cigerette held carelessly in between his fingers.
His piercing gaze moved from David to her and Nora found herself being inched closer to her father.
He kept staring at Nora with a cold, empty look on his face. Still staring, he inhaled the toxic fumes of his cigerette.
David beckoned Nora to walk faster out of there. Nora stared in surprise at that man's identical gray eyes as her own.
David dragged her out the graveyard but Nora's eyes never left his. Suddenly the corner of his lips tilted in a smirk. Her soul shuddered in fright.
Nora couldn't see more because David had already pushed her in the car.
Everything was making sense in David's mind. First Acacia's kidnapping and then her death. Her dead body was thrown carelessly at their door. Now they were back! Sure they did this all to take revenge. Their revenge was now completed.
But the way today he stared at his daughter Nora, worried him like no end. She was his sister afterall.
The thought of him hurting her, them hurting her terrified him. David just couldn't let them harm his daughter Nora. Not like they did with Acacia.
David was well aware that they were sadistic, brutal monsters with no hint of mercy in their hearts. A question tugged his mind- why didn't they tried to kill him too? He was also the equal shareholder of the crime in their family that Acacia and him had committed in past.
David sighed in relief when they finally reached home. He slammed the front door open and dragged Nora in.
"Listen to me Eleanora! No matter what happens. Don't you ever come across with that man again." He warned her.
Nora stared at him confused but then nodded her head lightly. There were many thoughts and questions running in her mind but she never once opened her mouth to blurt them out.
She was already feeling hollow at the lose of her mother. She had no strength in demanding answers from her father.
Few days spent by same like this. David had practically locked his daughter in her room.
Not that Nora minded about this but now her safest place now was suffocating her. But she never once complained. She stayed there obediently. It was the least thing she could do for her father beside speaking to him and opening her heart in front of him. She had just drowned herself in the ocean of grief.
A sudden knock on the front door gained her attention. She waited for her father to open it. But the knocking continued. It meant her father wasn't home.
Nora breathed in deeply and started coming downstairs. Her slightly shaking hands wrapped around the cold door frame and she slowly pulled it open.
There stood the same man from that day. Nora silently gasped in fear and her father's words flooded in her mind. She tried to close the door but his foot struck in and he effortlessly pushed it open.
Her heart hammered against her chest wildly as he took a big, threatening type of step towards her.
Tears sprang out of her eyes as the voices in her head started speaking again. Her head throbbed in pain and unconsciously she started whimpering.
"Nora!" Her father's voice rang in her ears, sending relief in her soul.
She was about to run towards her father who stood at the entrance with beads of sweat covering his forehead. That man grabbed her arm, preventing her from doing so.
"Daddy..." She cried for her father for the first time. A desparation was filled in her tone.
Whoever this man was, he terrified Nora like no extent.
"D-don't do anything to her, W-w-william." David's voice shook as he pleaded for his daughter's life.
William didn't replied but stared at the tears blankly that rolled down Nora's pale cheeks. Her face was covered with a frightened look.
"WHAT DO YOU EVEN WANT FROM HER?! WASN'T KILLING ACACIA ENOUGH?!" David lost control and angrily he spat these words out.
Nora froze at this shocking words. Her lips quivered as she lifted her eyes hesitantly to look in William's eyes.
She stared at him with a hurt filled look and he stared back at her face coldly.
A blood curling scream tear it's way out of her throat as she fought against his grip. His hold around her arm became a little rough. He seemed a little amused as Nora yelled and screamed at him.
He effortlessly spin her around, his arm now around her small throat. It was cutting her oxygen supply and preventing her from moving.
Nora watched crying as her father broke down in front of them and sobbed.
"D-daddy." She choked out.
Everything was so confusing and the throbbing of her head increased wildly. Her body was ready to collapse if it wasn't William's hold around her.
"I am taking a member of my family back. It is legally approved that I can take her custody." It was the first time, William finally spoke.
His voice was dark filled with no emotion just blankness. His words only rose more confusion in her mind.
David wasn't in the right state to say something. He knew he could never fight against him. It wasn't the time to show strength but work with mind.
"I will get her back at any cost." David spat out.
William just ignored him and released Nora from his dangerous hold. As soon as his hold started lightning, her legs gave up. But before she could hit the floor, big muscular arms wrapped around her petite waist.
Nora cried silently as he lifted her in his arms and started walking out from door. She faintly struggled against his grip. Her crying was worse and she felt no strength to fight in her body.
Her eyes squeezed shut tightly as she tried to breathe properly. Crying exhausted her body fully.
She felt herself being sit on the seat but refused to look at her kidnapper's face. Her body started shivering on it's own accord. Quiet sniffles could be heard from her. But never once she glanced in William's direction.
She decided to finally open her eyes after some minutes, when she was feeling herself being calmed down. She hesitantly look in his direction to find him working on the laptop.
He knew that she was staring at his face but he didn't bothered to glance in her direction.
Suddenly the car stopped and a guard came running in her side. Nora backed away, flinching as he opened the door for her. Her back collided against William's arm and she froze.
Soon she felt heard him getting out of the car from other side and she hesitantly followed him.
Nora swallowed thickly as she finally gave enough attention around her surroundings. These were the same familiar looking expensive cars that she had seen that day, when her mother was kidnapped.
It confirmed everything but it shattered her soul. A frightening feeling gripped her heart.
Her eyes then finally made contact with the big private Jet that was standing proudly in front of her and for the second time, her heart dropped again today.
