Eleanora's eyes fluttered open slowly. Her eyes first made contact with a white ceiling. She turned to look around the room and it seemed to be some hospital room.
She tried to lift herself up to sit but the pain in her ribs and arms stopped her. She slumped back down with a small sigh.
She blinked her eyes while trying to remember how did she get here, that's when she found herself reminiscing last night's memories.
Her brothers were there. There was lot of shouting and the man who had made her hostage was killed but he said something about killing them along.
That time, the barely conscious Nora hardly felt someone lifting her in their arms and jumped out of the window and just then the whole building blasted.
Nora winced again.
Was her brothers alright? She couldn't help but ask herself in worry. It seemed a little odd but Nora later understood the reason 'why'. She had grown attached to them.
Sighing, she again lifted herself off the bed while gritting her teeth in pain. She stood up on her trembling legs and slowly walked towards the door.
Nora's hand was about to wrap around the knob to twist it open but however it was yanked away from her reach as the door pulled open.
She looked up in the identical eyes of her brother, Damon. He smiled at her. Nora wasn't even surprised at seeing the pure gentleness and warmth radiating in his eyes.
Still not speaking, he wrapped a arm around her waist and slowly lead her back to the bed.
Nora grimaced at the pain exploding in her ribs as she sat down. Damon seemed to notice it and he rubbed her back soothingly.
He let her lay down on the bed and gave a pat on her head making her look up at him.
He motioned with his hands at her and the bed. Nora understood that he meant that she should stay in the bed.
She nodded feeling like half pouting at the dreadful situation. She hated feeling so weak and in pain.
"Where are others?" She asked softly. Damon smiled at the worry that shone in her eyes.
He gave her a thumbs up indicating her that they were well.
"H-hunter too?" She added.
He slowly nodded. Nora sighed in relief but let out a small cough that almost made her wheeze at pain in her ribs.
He moved immediately to grab some water for her and lifted a straw near her lips to take sip of her drink. She nearly smiled at his rushed moves. It seemed like he was highly alert and ready to take on every situation.
She managed to drink a little and then lay down on the bed while shutting her eyes.
"How long will I have to stay here?" Nora mumbled.
Her eyes opened when she felt his fingers running through her hair. She looked up at him and smiled faintly.
"It feels nice." She whispered and closed her eyes.
Soon she found herself dozing off again. Just as she blacked out completely, she felt a pair of lips pressed against her forehead gently.
"Get well soon." Her brows furrowed slightly at the unfamiliar voice but it must be her imagination, thinking this her remaining consciousness succumbed back to complete darkness.
When again Eleanora woke up, she noticed someone's presence in the room. She squinted her eyes to look clear and sure it was Lucifer. He was sleeping on the couch present in the room.
It felt a little creepy as she watched him sleeping. She stared at the ceiling in boredom feeling her stomach growling loudly.
A blush coated her cheeks in embarassment as the growl woke up Lucifer who immediately shot up from the couch and managed to trip in the air.
Nora winced watching his face planted to floor and he let out some quiet profanities.
He looked up at Nora and grinned.
"Yo! You up my little baby sister." He cooed at her and dashed towards her. In a flash, Nora found herself engulfed in his arms carefully.
She just couldn't contain a smile in at his sweet gesture.
"You scared the hell out of me!" He huffed in slight annoyance. But his expressions changed quick when again her stomach growled.
"Someone's hungry. The way your stomach is growling, I think you can eat a mountain." Nora blushed but pitifully smiled at his terrible sense of humor.
"Will be back in a minute." He releasing her from the hug and literally vanished from the spot.
A minute later, the door opened and he came back with food. That included fruit salad and vegetables soup.
Nora grimaced slightly at the sight.
"Don't make faces. You gotta eat healthy. No excuses." He shut the words of protests that couldn't even leave her lips yet.
"Can I see Hunter?" She asked in a hopeful tone.
Lucifer gave her a long look and then nodded.
"I will take you there but first you gotta finish all of these."
Nora nodded and let him feed her. Fruits were fine but the soup was disgusting.
When she was finished, she was already getting up from the bed but Lucifer stopped her.
"Woah woah! Look at the energy." He chuckled and told her to wait.
He moved out of the room and came back with a wheelchair.
"I could walk just fi--" Her words died between as he gently grabbed her like a small child and sat her down on the wheelchair while being extra careful of hurting her ribs.
"Enjoy the ride, little baby sister." With that, they took off.

THE BROKEN PETAL (Prologue)
"We found her."
One small statement was enough to shaken up Vicente Knight. He found himself unable to stand and collapsed on the chair.
"What did you say?" He asked in a shaky voice.
"We found her, Vicente"
Salvador stared at their older brother with a hard look in his eyes.
"What the hell are you saying? Are you high or something?" He couldn't help but feel like Sebastian have gone officially mad under the work-load.
The person he mentioned about left them 6 years ago. She ran away without a trace. She was 16 year old at that time. Now she must have crossed 22.
"I brought her here." Their older brother dropped the second bomb on top of them soon.
"You can't be fucking serious?" Salvador yelled but it didn't stop Vicente from rushing up to his feet and he ran out.
Sebastian calmly followed Vicente while all the time Salvador was cursing his decision loudly.
"You shouldn't have brought her back!"
"You should have left her wherever she was. It was her own fucking decision."
"Why did you even bring her here?"
"Fuck! I hate her so much."
But Salvador suddenly paused as a familiar childish giggle reached his ears.
He strained his ears to hear correctly thinking his mind was playing games. Another giggle and he looked up to see Vicente blocking the view from him.
He side-stepped him to look in forward. His eyes widened.
Sitting on the floor near the couch was her. The rags she was wearing barely covered her small frame. On her lap, there was a small tattered teddy that Salvador recognized after a moment. He was the one who bought it for her.
She was whispering something and playing with the teddy, cradling it to her chest.
Her once shiny and beautiful red hair was greasy and filled with grime and dirt. It looked like she hadn't brushed it for a long time.
As Salvador finally looked carefully, he saw something. Something that left a haunted image ingrained in the back of his mind.
Scars!
She was covered in them. Her skin was less visible due to these haunting marks.
"W-what?" Vicente was lost at his words.
Salvador and Vicente could only look up at Sebastian for explanation but all they got a blank look in return.
