Instantly, her hand shot up to grab William's wrist to stop him.

"P-please no."

William looked down at her with emotionless eyes. She was crying hysterically. Damon wanted to approach her to comfort her but Lucifer gripped his shoulder.

It was killing him too, hearing her breakdown was the second most painful thing to him but he was trying to control himself.

"Eleanora." Vincent tried to call her but she frantically shook her head.

"H-he s-said--" Her words caught everyone's attention fully.

"H-he s-said t-that he will k-kill y-you all o-one by o-one. I-I can't! J-just can n-never. P-please...." She cried out loudly.

William scoffed hearing this.

Nora was surprised at his reaction and she looked up at him.

"More reasons to kill whoever he is!" He voiced out his unshakeable decision.

"B-bu--"

"Don't interfere in this matter and just go to rest. Our profession is not the best one and you know what it is. Angel's death was something that is completely 'normal'. If we die in the future, it will be considered normal too. But all that matter is, we are not going to sit quiet. Our last resort is revenge."

Nora jerked back at William's words. He did not even worry about his own life too, judging the way he was talking.

"We need to go now." William looked at his younger brothers one by one as they all nodded.

As William turned around to walk back, her hand grabbed his hand again.

He looked back to see her sitting up straight, her shoulders no longer slumped, her hair shadowed her eyes and silent tears still slid down her cheeks, hitting across her lap.

"What's the matter now?" William was quite annoyed and it was visible in his tone. Damon looked at the scene concerned when he heard the way William spoke.

"You promised."

Her quiet voice rang through the silence of the room.

"You gave me three promises at my birthday. You said that I can ask for anything."

Getting the idea, William clenched his jaw.

Damon's stomach tightened.

"Don't go against your words, William." She whispered.

"What is it that you want?" He asked, emphasizing on each word, his eyes dark.

"First, I want you to forget about this revenge and second, you need to tell this to our rest of brothers too." She stated with a slight tremble in her tone.

William's fists clenched slightly. Nora noticed this with fear in her eyes but did not say a word about it. She could absolutely feel burning fury of her brothers as they bored their eyes into her skull. Hades's glare was the worst one amongst them.

"Third, I need you to leave this dangerous life. Let's go somewhere safe and away from violence and blood. I have l-lost my mother, my father and now o-one of my brother too. It h-hurts so much. I can't witness more d-deaths. I w-will die, Will." She pleaded, her arm wrapped around his legs.

"I-I just w-want to get away from this l-life. I want to m-make my world like that where there will b-be no bloodshed. P-please, William. Keep your promise." A trembling sob left her lips.

"Willi--" Hades started to say. But paused seeing his hand on top of Nora's head.

"If that's you want, then we will do it." He said calmly.

Rest of the brothers' eyes widened. Damon squeezed his own hand almost not believing it.

Nora's arms left his leg as relieved tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Vincent, Hunter! Follow me."

Saying this, he walked towards his study with Vincent and Hunter following closely behind. Nora flinched as her eyes met Hades.

"Ha--"

He glared and angrily stormed to the basement. Damon looked at Lucifer who was staring down at Nora with an emotionless face.

He looked at Damon and nodded before walking towards his room upstairs.

Damon sighed and approached his little sister. He crouched down in front of her.

"T-they hate me, D-damon." She whimpered and threw herself in his arms.

He shook his head and hugged her back as a sign to give her much needed comfort.

"They do not hate you. They are just angry and it won't take long for them to cool down." He said gently.

"I j-just-- it hurts my h-heart. I-I miss A-angel."

His eyes turned red too.

"I know. I do too."

******************* Warning- An abrupt Timeskip!

A 18 year old Eleanora placed a bouquet of black roses in front of a familiar stone. Fresh tears filled her eyes as she read the name carved on it.

"It's been two years already, Angel. I just want to say that I m-miss you. I miss you so much. We all d-do. I wish you were here."

She said her silent prays while crying. She stilled as she felt a hand on her shoulder.

Glancing back, she found Damon standing behind her. She tried to smile at him and wished goodbye to Angel. Damon led her back to his parked car.

As he started to drive, Nora looked out of the window.

"So have you selected in which university you are planning on getting admission?" Damon inquired, beginning the conversation.

"I do not have any special requirements. I will go the local university and be done with it. Oh right! Is there any news on Anastasia? I have not been in contact with her recently. I think it was about 6 months ago since I saw her." Nora muttered sadly.

"Didn't you call her?" Damon asked curiously.

"Well I do but not that much. You know what is happening back in home and she's busy with her studies and family." Nora fumbled with her fingers nervously.

"I'm sure you will see her soon." Damon smiled.

She smiled back. Her eyes brightening at the sight of her brother's smile.

"Yeah. I hope so."

As they reached their destination, Damon stopped the car. She stepped out and followed him inside their villa.

She rang the doorbell and it took about 10 seconds before it opened.

Hades stood there with a bored look implanted on his face. Nora frowned faintly at the sight of his dark circles and pale skin.

"Brought any pizza?" He raised his brow.

"I did. Your favourite cheese pizza." Damon raised the boxes up with a tender and goofy smile on his face.

Hades snatched the boxes out of his hands.

"Umm do I get a slice?" Nora asked softly.

Hades looked down at her. She was pouting faintly.

"Only one." He grabbed her hand and pulled her inside. Damon entered behind her.

In the last two years, Hades and Nora had gotten unimaginably close as they spent a lot of time together.

Hades was furious at Nora first but then he along with his other brothers understood her reasoning. But it was not like they forgot about their brother's lose.

"I found a clue." Dominic said.

William silently listened to his siblings laughter outside in the living room while Vincent and Hunter stood in front of him. Hunter was leaning against the wall and playing with a stapler.

"It has been two years already. You better have a good news."

Dominic chuckled on the other side.

"Two years since you become Mr. Goody two shoes."

William rolled his eyes.

"Will! I prepared dinner." Nora arrived in the corridor with a brilliant smile on her face. Dominic was about to make some comment but paused, hearing her voice.

"We will be there soon." Vincent patted her head.

William nodded while Hunter just stared at her but it was normal for Nora. She walked out of there, excited. Usually, it was Damon who always cooked and she gave him a hand. But today, she made everything by herself under Damon's watchful eye.

"Angel is alive."

William stilled for a moment. A relieved sigh broke through his mouth.

Indeed, he should be. These unspoken words rang in William's mind.

Yay!

Angel is alive but--

Here's a small teaser of 'Her Five Protectors 2'.

"Tomorrow, I will pick you at 7." He said casually, his eyes never left her trembling form. Finally, after what seemed like forever, he began to walk in the direction of the door.

Athena thought that he was going to leave but he paused at the doorway.

He tilted his head back slightly.

"You are bound to me forever. I won't hesitate to drag you back from the mouth of death again, if I have to."

The door was closed, leaving Athena alone with her thoughts.

She covered her face with her hands as she finally let her tears loose.

"Athena seems to have changed. It is almost like she has reverted back to her old-self when you brought her here for the first time." Vincenzo stated suddenly.

Luciano nodded slowly and said.

"She has gone through a lot and escaped death by inches. We cannot blame her."

Vincenzo did not say anything back but the scene when she had woken up in the hospital, played in his mind.

The way she flinched in fear after seeing him for the first time had made him a lot worried. She might look happy now but Vincenzo had observed clearly that she seems to be a little more cautious around him as compared to others.

Why was she so scared from him?
