Violet's POV:

Loud music echoes through my ears as I'm changing in the staff's restroom. What did I do so wrong to deserve this? Out of all people, why me? I always put others first, I did right all these years. For nothing because that's how Jesus is paying me.

I push these questions and thoughts out of my mind as I exit the restroom and pretend this wasn't the worst night of my life. You surely had worse than this.

"Vi, table 1 asked for you" James tells me as I begin to think that Jesus is really playing with me. Come on Violet, just an hour till this hell ends.

I reach table 1 and just kindly ask "Did you need anything gentlemen?" and I'm actually proud of how my mouth said gentlemen and not 'worthless pieces of humanity'.

"Yeah another bottle of Puccini wine" a deep voice says, I think I recognised where it's from. The hot stranger. He had a good accent but I could still hear the italian behind that.

I simply nod and take the order, coming back a few minutes later with the wine and serving it to the 4 men who surround table 1, all of them handsome.

Just as I'm done serving them, a hand grabs my wrist and pulls me back "You're a pretty little thing, I can pay you for a one night" one of the men says. What the fuck now.

"Excuse me Sir, but that's not my job. If you need such thing we have our own prostitutes and I can call one of them for you" I say hoping he would just let me go. But the man didn't.

"It's okay sweetie, forget the one night. How about you stay a bit on my lap?" he says and I swear if I knew this man I would've said yes. But like hell I do.

"Sir there are other girls for that, too" I awkwardly say still not agreeing on sitting on his lap. "Just sit on my lap or else I'll call your boss and you'll get fired" this time he whisper in my ear only for me to hear. What the fuck man.

I really need the job so I don't have a choice. He spreads his legs as I sit on his lap facing the table and the other 3 men. The hot stranger is just staring at me, while the man I'm sitting on is talking about some arrangements.

It's now midnight. Meaning my shift is over. Great, let's get off this fucker. I quickly get up from his lap "Gentlemen it was a pleasure serving you tonight. Unfortunately my shift is over so I have to leave. Have a great night" I say hoping nothing else would happen and that I would just go home and sleep.

But of course something happens. The man I was sitting on gets up and tells me he'd like to bring me home. Like hell you are. I keep on telling no but he just doesn't listen. Jesus if you hear me just help me will you?

A different voice speaks this time. The hot stranger's one "Sebastian I think she made it quite obvious she doesn't want you to bring her home". Finally a man with a fucking brain.

I thank him and excuse myself. Can't wait to throw myself on the bed and sleep until next year.

I quickly change in the restroom and get out of Shadows, realising I have to walk since I left my car at home.

I love walking. It clears my mind and I feel like those awful thoughts can't harm me. I don't know how to explain this feeling but it's just so good. And of course, I know that walking alone at night is very risky, especially for a woman, but I always hope I don't cross a drunk man or something else. It's so sad that women have to feel this fearful.

My phone buzzes. It's past midnight who would actually text me right now?

It's an unknown number. Great. I open the text and it says "You shouldn't walk alone at night. It's dangerous" I get a sick feeling in my stomach as I realise someone is watching me.

But I feel the need to throw up when another text pops up and says "Don't panic pretty little thing". Fuck. It's the disgusting man from the VIP area?

I walk faster trying to avoid that feeling you have when somebody's watching you. But I can't go home because that person would know where I live. So I decide to turn back to Shadows, it's only 3 minutes from where I am right now.

Fucking luckily I get there safely and just explain it to James "It's okay Vi, you go to the staff's room and I'll tell the boss that you will leave tomorrow morning" he says "Thank you so much" I respond before directing to the staff's room.

Well today was a fucking hell, I'm actually surprised I survived it. Now I'll just rest on the couch hoping to not fall asleep for a long time, because we all know what happens if I sleep for more than a few hours.

It's 5 am and I should probably go home now. I get up and go to the staff's restroom, change myself and leave Shadows. It was the first time that I couldn't go home because of a freak, I mean the other nights I come back home with Silvia. And it was the first time something happened in the VIP area.

I reach my house and lock the door behind me, letting my purse fall on the floor and dragging myself to my bedroom. I'll just watch some netflix and spend all day in bed. I really do deserve it after last night.

As I'm continuing 'The Vampire Diaries' my phone rings. It's 6 in the morning damn. On the screen pops up Silvia's profile picture, a picture that I really love and I answer her, worried because it's early.

"Hey Sil, how are you?" I ask "I'm doing great, you?" she says and I tell her I'm good "Sil it's 6 in the morning, did something happen?" I question her and she just responds "No... I mean yes but I thought we could go for a run and then have breakfast? I'll tell you everything" well I also have a lot of things to say, but I don't think they matter so "Yeah of course, meet me at mine in 20?" I ask and she agrees.

Great, let's get ready to run Violet. But I wonder what happened to her... She probably met a guy and already replaced that fucker of Carter. Well if that happened, go best friend!!

I exit my house and see her standing in my garden, waiting for me. She looked so good, she had leggings and a sports bra, with a sweater on top. Her hair was in a ponytail and she had no makeup on but still looked so pretty. The prettiest girl I've ever seen.

"Hey bestiee" she greets me "Uuh someone's happy" I smirk and she just chuckles. "Mind telling me why?" I ask her and she smiles "Well, you gave me the day off and as I was walking to my car, I met a handsome guy" she says and we start running a bit down the street.

"And what was this handsome guy like?" I question her "It's complicated to explain because he's really hot, but I'll just show you a picture from his insta" she says and takes out her phone from her pocket as we slow a bit down.

A picture of a young and yes, handsome man is covering her screen. He's hot, with a scar on his eyebrow and dark brown eyes, a jaw that could kill and a very muscular body. The guy was perfect.

"Damn you found a good one" we chuckle and start running again. "Well what happened?" I continue with the questions "He was having an issue with his car, which was next to mine, and was talking angrily to his phone, so I offered him my help and I actually fixed his problem-" she pauses to breathe before continuing

"-and we started talking and he seemed funny and did I already mention handsome?" I laugh and she smiles, "And then he asked for my number and yep, that's all" she concludes.

"That's all?! You met that man and he asked you for your number and you say 'that's all'?" I say chucking and she laughs.

We reach the Cafe and decide to have breakfast there. I decided to tell her what happened last night, about everything that happened in the VIP area and the freak that texted me while I was coming back home.

"Men suck, they really do" she says as I finish telling her everything "Yeah I know, but the only reason I still believe in them is because of men like the hot stranger" I told her about the hot stranger and now we just call him like that. Weird I know, but leave me alone I don't know the man's name.

"Yeah I wish I could've been there last night" she says and I agree with her. We finish eating and head home. It's now 10 am.

I could go for a swimming now.
