"Any news?" Sel asked me anxiously.

"Nope." I shook my head. The rest of them sighed in disappointment."

"Why won't they just approve your letter of renouncement." Mara pouted and slumped on the sofa.

"I'm not sure myself. I already did everything I could and yet no results." I caressed my forehead.

It's been three months..I won the competition last time coming in first in the females category while Sir Albercht won third. Many nobles have been punished in accordance to the law, some were stripped off of their titles.

Every since I announced my renouncement, my letter wasn't accepted. It was approved by the judge but without the Emperor's seal it would be useless.

*sigh*

"Come on Euphie, cheer up" Basil nudged me, he was trying to look happy but I could tell he was sad about my situation. The Imperial Princess wants to be removed from the royal line. Its a huge thing for the empire.

He hugs me and I hugged him back, then we were crushed in a hug by Ryza afterwards it turned into a group hug.

"S-sometimes..I t-think y-you guys want m-me to d-d-iee..Oxxxygeeennnn." I tapped out.

We all went to class but they only told us to go to the gymnasium. Headmaster Gerwitz stood at the podium.

"You all must be wondering why I have called you all for a meeting."

"In a few days, we will be going on an expedition at the Holy Tempest Forest. Do prepare for it since you may encounter monsters along the way. The main goal of this expedition is to practice your combat skills in real-life application."

"There will be the newly created surveillance system all around to monitor all the students. In case of emergency, you will be given a bracelet. It will trigger if you are in danger, alerting us of it. That is all."

Holy Tempest..I learned about this a while ago. The Holy Tempest is the being sent by God, another word for Holy Tempest is the Deity's Sword. The Holy Tempest is sent by God to protect the lands of Enigmatia.

Enigmatia is the name of this planet. It was called the Holy Tempest Forest because it is said that the Temple of the Holy Tempest lies there, though hidden and undiscovered. This would have been a myth if it weren't for the old scrolls that state the last Holy Tempest.

They were there to protect this planet from the corruption of the Underworld or also known as the Demon Realm. It was stated that millions of years ago, there was a war between the Holy Tempest and the Lord of the Underworld.

The Lord of the Underworld was defeated but in the same time, The Holy Tempest did as well but before passing, they embedded themselves at Enigmatia's core. Protect it until the next Holy Tempest awakens.

It is also unstated if the gender of the Holy Tempest was a woman or a man.

"Hey, I have an Idea!" Ty spoke.

"What is it?" Ryza asked.

"How about we look for the lost Temple?? It'd be fun plus it'll get our minds off of certain things."

"We aren't even sure if it's there." Mara crossed her arms and raised a brow.

"That's the fun part." He grinned.

"Euphemia-hime, The Headmaster is asking for you to come to his office." Sir Seisyll approached us. I nodded my head and followed him to the Headmaster's office.

"Euphie, any news?" Gerwitz asked me.

"*sigh* Unfortunately not.." I slumped my head in exasperation.

"It's ok child, if the process goes well I'll adopt you myself!" He laughed full heartedly.

"Pfft- Alright old man." I smiled.

"It's true child, I'm a Marquis

"Remember students, if the alarms on your bracelets go off please leave the forest and head back here immediately." Sir Seisyll said. This is the entrance to the Forest, we wore our bracelets properly and went in.

The Holy Tempest Forest is the second largest Forest in the Empire.

"Where do you guys want to head first? North? East? West?" Basil asked.

"I feel West" Mara thought with her hands clasped with Sir Albercht. He decided to join us since he wanted to spend time with his fiancé.

We didn't had a direction in mind so we just went with West. Inside the Forest, like what the headmaster said there was monsters inside.

We practiced our magic and our physical skills. We had to split up cause there was a Centisitth at the far West.

'Where the heck am I?' I thought but luckily I could still spot the cameras.

I sighed and sat down by a large boulder.

*RING*

*RING*

*RING*

The bracelet is ringing with red lights blinking. What happened?? We have to evacuate? ..Alright then.

I got up but, *snap*

I whipped my head in the direction but I flung to the nearby tree, breaking it.

"ACK-" I crouched on the ground. I broke a few bones and I definitely shattered a rib too.

I can feel black gooey hands come up from the ground, holding me down. My hair was gripped up so I was forced to face the person behind it. I saw its face but..that's not a human. No way is this a human..

He was distracted for a moment so I took the chance to summon my sword and make him back up. I coughed up blood in the process.

There it was again, tainted monsters sprouted out from the ground and headed my way. They kept on coming out. It was obvious that they were monsters from here but the difference is that they are tainted.

"Puppet Magic: The Maestro's Piece." I chanted.

A Large Maestro Puppet fell down from the sky, It was as if there was an orchestra but the music notes came out to tangle them together, it was obviously not normal music notes, in fact, the music is horrible.

It doesn't affect my ears since I was the one who cast them but the goal of this spell is to attack the enemy's internal system. Not only are the notes physically hurt you but the music should shatter the insides.

I ran, as fast as I could but then I realized, I'm running in circles. I keep coming back in the same spot and this is normal since this is a spell.

Whatever that attacked me barely even got hurt. I chanted a water spell on my sword as I attacked him. He put up a good fight this man, if he's even a man, is an excellent sorcerer and at combat.

I'm suffering more damage than he is, he got me cornered.

"I don't want to do this but honestly, Fxck you." I bit

My Water orbs crystalized and pierced through every and each of the tainted monsters he was spawning. The sky turned grey and heavy rain poured down along were lightning, electrocuting the other monsters.

Earth Golems charged at him while I cast an Imagery spell in hopes to distract him, I created a purification gun and shot at the tainted monsters. At the same time, I finally used Acoustokinesis, a silent whisper, a spell even I didn't know I knew.

"Swift Stream"

Unlike how I said it, A large golden blast echoed his way, flinging him away from me. I thought everything was fine until the scenery before me, started changing till it completely changed. I was baffled,

I turned around and the skies were clear, no cloud nothing just pure blue. The ground was grass so green it looked painted. There was a huge Golden and White temple, two columns on each side. Behind it was a deep clear blue ocean, I think I went crazy..wait no, is this heaven?!

I died?! No way..I swear I kicked the other guy's ass too though..Oh, Ha! I'm still alive.

My ribs and the bones I broke hurt like a Bxtch so I'm pretty sure I'm alive. Not to mention the blood dripping out of my mouth, ehe.

I somehow walked in front of the Temple, I guess this is the Holy Tempest Temple? There was an altar right across. But once I took a step in, my consciousness faded, and then everything went..blank.
