(This chapter is written in a third person view it when Skyler was 5)

............................................................................... Today was a Thursday . Sky was l waiting patiently in the driver's car for her brothers to come from school. Marcos, her brother was sleeping soundly next to her in the car.

This is how it been going for the past 2 years she would finish school and then go pick her brothers up. Her father offered her to come home and have another driver pick her brother up but she refused. She loved picking up her brothers and taking about there day. But today her brothers were late.

Sky was scared that something may have happened to them she maybe the youngest sibling but she was overprotective in nature. " Mr.David can I go cheth on my brother. Please I want to see if they are okay. " Sky said to the driver. She always had a problem with pronouncing the k it always ending up as th.

" sweety your father ordered us to wait for them in the car. " Mr. David said

" but what if something happened to them "

" stop worrying about them they can take care of themselves"

Mr. David was saying the truth. The Sullivan brothers have been trained to fight, to kill , to torture , and to never fell pain. They were created to be a heartless machine that's soul purpose is to kill. But the only time they show there emotions was when they were with Sky that is when the killing machine turns into humans. Only the idiot would go against the Sullivan brothers.

And apparently some idiot decided to go against Xavier. " there they come. See I told you not to worry. " Mr . David said once he saw them in his view.

Sky was excited seeing her brothers coming in to the car. Her smile wouldn't leave her lips that is until she saw a bruise on Xavier cheek. That was when her smile faded and her face turned in to one full anger and sadness. She waited patiently for them to get in the car before asking Xavier " are you okay?"

Xavier face was an emotionless one until he heard sky's voice that is when his facial expression softened " yes. Of course I am fine "

"Who did it?" Sky asked

" it doesn't matter he left." Xavier explained to sky.

" did you hurt him like he hurt you?"

Xavier didn't know how to answer that. He didn't want to scare his sister away but he also didn't want to look weak in front of her. So he just said half of the truth. " I did"

Xavier did hurt the guy but way worse than just a bruised cheek. The guy ended up with a face full of bruises and what may possibly be a broken rib. He wanted to do more but he couldn't because he was in school ground but he promised himself that he would show him the basement.

He could have gotten out of the fight without getting hurt but the punch took him by surprise he knew his father would hurt him for that. His father would hurt him because he was week not strong enough to beat a defenseless boy with out getting hurt. Xavier was pulled out of his thought when he heard sky say " well that is good. " the car was silent afterwards but the boys were a little surprised by her answer.

Sky was a kind soul may even be one of the most innocent person on the planet. But she had a policy that she will never break. A punch for a punch and a kick for a kick. She never cared who she would have to fight specially if it meant protecting her brothers. She knew that there were two things she would die for one was her brothers and two was her pride and dignity.

Once they reached Xavier dragged his legs to his father's office. He new he will get torture but he new he had to do it. As he stood in front of the office door and raised his hand to start knocking he heard a "come in" from the other said. His father must have heard his footsteps when he was coming to the office. His father was smart he could tell many things by only hearing people's footsteps. He was capable of knowing who the person was and when will they arrive. His father taught his kids everything he knew.

When he walked in the office he bowed his head a little as a sign of respect. His father was busy doing paperwork so he didn't see his bruised face. He knew he had to wait until his father was done with the papers that is because his father hated getting interrupted.

" so son what brings you hear" his father said before raising his head from the papers but once he did you could see the anger in his eyes " what happened to your face? "

Xavier stood in front of his father with his head high showing no fear " I got in too a fight in school "

" Can you explain to me Xavier how he, an untrained student in your school was capable of laying a hand on you?" His father asked with a deadly calm voice.

To say the least Xavier was ashamed of himself but he knew he had to answer that question " he took me by surprise. "

His father stood up from his seat and walked to front of his desk " you were weak. You put your guard down and you got hurt. And you know that is unacceptable. " he said then start walk towards Xavier. He grabbed Xavier face and tilted his son's head to the side to examine the bruise. "That boy left a sign on your face a sign that shows weakness". He slapped Xavier's face on the bruised cheek, hard.

He walked back to the desk and pulled out a sharp dagger " go wait for me in the basement. " his father said. Without hesitation Xavier left the office and headed to the basement.

In the main time sky was playing out side in the backyard after asking permission from her mother. Sky was outside running around until a thought came in her head when she saw a beautiful tree.

Sky looked at the tree examining every inch of it before deciding that she was going to climb it. But before she did she calculated every step she will take. Then she grabbed the first branch with her tiny hands and she put her feet on another branch. She was happy, enjoying herself climbing the tree that is until one branch under her feet broke.

The only thing that was keeping Sky from falling was her strong grip she was using to hold the branch. She tried to get her feet back on another branch unsuccessfully. But she kept on trying that is until her arm started to hurt.

"ALEX" she yelled for help loudly. " LEXY" she was calling her brother for help when she heard a crack that came from the branch. That was when fear started to creep inside of her.

"ENZO" she yelled even louder " ENZO". A small scream escaped her lips as the branch started to break. " SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. "

"SKY" she heard someone yell back which made her calm down and a little.

"MATTEO IS THAT YOU " she said a few seconds before she saw him come in to her view.

" oh god,sky what have you gotten yourself in to" he said once he saw the situation she is in.

"Hello" sky replied and gave him a small smile. Even in situations like this sky is able to smile Matteo thought. "Aaaaahh" he hear Sky yell when the branch broke even more. " okay, Sky just let go. I will catch you. " he said but sky didn't want to. She just shook her head.

"Sky please I promise I will catch you. " he thought she must be scared of getting hurt.

She shook her head again " what if you get hurt?" She asked worried about him.

" won't" he reassured her asking himself how was he blessed with a sister like her.

"Promise?" she ask before she felt the branch break and she let out another scream.

"I promise" the moment she heard those words leave his mouth she let go. And as he promised none of them got hurt.

Matteo carried Sky on his hip and started walking to the house. " so I heard you yell for almost most of our brothers for help yet you didn't call me. Is there a reason for that?" He asked amused trying to lighten up the mood. "No."she said with a small voice while blushing and hiding her face in his shoulder. Matteo chuckled to himself. On that day he promised himself that he wouldn't let anything happen to her, he would protect her with everything and never allow a man to come close to his sister but what was unknown to him is that this was the last day they would spend together.
