THIRD-PERSON POV

While the Valentino siblings; were enjoying their moment.

Someone was glaring at them from the glass.

Their eyes held emotion, foreign from ours.

Ours held happiness and admiration for the siblings.

But their eyes held hatred and anger for the siblings.

If they could fast forward the plan, the siblings would be on their death beds.

The known Valentino sibling's stories would come to an end.

But they wouldn't risk their plan of finishing the sibling's joy and happiness just like that.

Their plan is executing greatly. They wouldn't want their anger to come in between it.

__

The eldest of the Valentino siblings was tensed. Despite forgetting about the threat for the sake of his sibling's happy moment for a while.

His anger and worry kept increasing after every passing second.

His sister's life is threatened.

And the only thing he could do is wait.

He was disappointed in himself for not looking out for more possible threats.

Disappointed in them, for choosing him to look after his siblings.

The recent threat was no less than the previous one or the upcoming one.

Last time, it was finger with a message. This time, it was another.

The message was the same. Watch out! I'm close!

The finger was sent for a postmortem on the same day of its arrival. And now the finger, which arrived this afternoon, during his visit to Allegra at the hospital.

It was kept, in the plastic bag, right beside the tire of his vehicle.

The reports of both the fingers would be arriving late in the evening. When Leonardo threatened them to chop their fingers down if he didn't receive the report in the next 24 hours.

Antonio got to know about the new threat when we went to do the paperwork regarding Allegra's discharge from the hospital.

Antonio, who was angry and worried, remained calm.

When he thought that Leo was going to yell at Allegra in the hospital lobby, he quickly stepped in, defending Allegra.

About her, not knowing the reason behind his; Leonardo's, anger.

But; what he didn't know was Leo wasn't even the slightest bit angry with Allegra at that moment.

Internally, he was smiling at Allegra's stupid attempt of saving her other brothers from Leonardo's anger.

Externally, he was drained. There was not even an ounce of energy left in him to talk back.

The brothers decided on going to the private beach to clear their minds from all the tension going on.

The boys already sensed something wrong with Leonardo's mood. So, they directly went towards their office and asked him about it.

To which, he retaliates the whole story to them.

The boys, like always, had a different reaction.

Matteo was deeply concerned about his siblings. Too many 'what ifs' thoughts, gathering in his head.

Alessandro was furious. Someone was threatening his family and especially his Luce del sole, his sister.

Alexander, like always, was thinking the most. Like Matteo, he was not only worried but also preparing himself for the worst.

Marco was as angry as Alessandro. But he was thinking; rationally. He knows that anger won't let you win.

Rocco was tensed and panicked. His mind was looping the previous dirty events of his life.

Yet, only one thought of the brothers was similar. We won't let anything happen to her!

ALLEGRA'S POV.

They all planed a picnic without me and told me that I only have 30 minutes to get myself and a bag ready.

Like, how the heck am I supposed to pack all of that, in a mere 30 min?

Stupid.

I stuffed some of my beachwear in a small picnic bag. A sandal along with my shades and sunblock.

"Wow. That didn't even take 10 mins. I'm impressed." I patted my shoulder twice. I walked inside my bathroom and changed into jean shorts and a loose white shirt.

Grabbing my bag, I walked down towards the living room.

I threw my bag on one of the couches. Trailing inside the kitchen, I grabbed a banana and munched on it.

I looked out from the kitchen's window, Which I just discovered actually.

The window's view was of the abandoned area of the garden.

This reminds me of that strange hut at the back of the Mansion.

I walked outside in the garden from the kitchen's backdoor. Reaching that abandon point, I stepped over the now blocked path by flower pots.

Jumping over them, I walked towards the strange hut.

I looked back at the house's building to notice that no other window beside the kitchenette's opens to this view.

"Not strange at all." I twisted the doorknob, thankfully, without coming in contact with the cobwebs.

After hearing the creaking sound of the door, my eyes instantly went to that locked cupboard.

Reaching the cupboard, I traced my finger over the small mirror at the center of it.

My eyes clashed with my own in the mirror. And I turned around when I found something dangling from the back of the door.

I carefully reaches the door and skimmed my hand over the set of keys.

Clutching the keys in my palm, I made a beeline for the cupboard.

There were five keys in total. All rusted though, But one key, though rusted, stood out from the others.

The head of that key had a square hole instead of a circle.

I listened to my instincts and inserted that key in the keyhole.

Turning the knob to the right, I pulled on the handle.

And...it didn't open.

Sucker.

It seems stuck. Dammit.

I put the keys in my shorts pocket, and after giving one last look to the cupboard, I walked out of the hut and that abandoned area.

Passing by the field of blooming jasmine, I smiled. There is some mystery in this house.

I walked back inside the mansion and into the living room.

Leo was sitting on the couch, doing something on his phone.

"You guys are taking forever now," I muttered after taking my seat beside him.

Resting my head on the hand rest I lay down folding my legs in the process.

"Your brothers take longer than a girl to get ready, La Mia Luce."

"Ugh, come on." I groaned. "I'm sleepy, just wanna pass out for an eternity."

"Hey, my favorite sister. You've already packed? Woah, I'm impressed." Alexander kept yelling while walking down the stairs.

I nodded. "Stop yelling, Alex!" Leo said strictly. Alex rolled his eyes and was about to say something snarky when Rocco did the same thing as Alex.

"Have you taken your sunglasses? And sunblock? Alle?"

"Stop yelling, Rocco!" Leo's went an octave higher.

"Yes, Rocco, I did." I smiled but then yelled, "Wait, I forgot sunblock!"

And ladies and gentlemen, the volcano erupted.

"Allegra Valentino!" I barked out a giggle and shouted. "Call firefighters! The volcano is erupting. I repeat, Volcano is erupting!"

Rocco and Alexander fixed their imaginary firefighter's helmet. "We are here, captain!"

"Wait, that not what they say. But either way. On the count of three, Run."

"Wait, aren't we supposed to be firefighters?" Rocco called back.

"Yes, but our life matters the most. Now, 3." And I took off.

After few seconds, I heard loud thumping. "Hey, you said on the count of 3," Alex said while panting.

"I did say 3." Rocco and Alex rewarded me a blank stare to which I just gave them a peace sign.

Once we all reached the main door, I asked. "Where are both of your twins?"

"Still getting ready."

"Sometimes, I feel like you both are the twins." Muttering under my breath.

"Oh, my bag is still inside."

"Leo will bring it." Just as Alex said that Leo shouted for Rocco to come inside and take the bags out,

"Oh yeah, look I'm seeing Leo bringing out the bags. Look, look." I smirked at him.

He stuck his tongue out.

"So mature." Mumbling I looked at Alex.

"Alex, tell me something!"

He looked at me. "Why are you so....stupid?" I grinned at him.

"Allegra, I'm telling you this one last time-"

"Oh, Leo." I looked behind him gaining shock. He got startled. But return me the glare when he found no one behind him. "I'm not scared of him, stupid. I just got startled."

Leo walked out of the main door and towards where Alex and I were standing. "Oh, Leo."

"I'm not going to get fooled again, okay? I'm not scared of him either. Leo is not even that scary. There was this one time I borrowed money from him, more like demanded. He was like, yes, King Alex, the money I earn is all yours." there was a smug look on his face which quickly slipped off when Leo said, "King Alex, huh? Would you mind turning around?" there was no trace of emotion on Leo's face. You cant see emotions in his eyes either.

"King Alex, I'll let the two of you talk." Grinning, I walked towards Rocco, who was trying to muffle his laugh.

"May his soul Rest in Pieces."
