The next morning, Allegra had a very weird feeling in her heart. It made her sick. She coughed and vomited five times in just 2 hours.
She went out of her room and paced toward Antonio's room. She entered his room and made her way towards his bed, where he was sleeping on his back shirtless.
She shook him. "Nio," she paused to cough. "Wake up." Her voice was groggy and weak. When Antonio didn't budge, she climbed on the bed and went near him.
She tries to wake him up which went in vain. She laid down beside him but kept waking him.
She sighed and went under the duvets and blocked the few sun rays coming from the window with her arm.
"Antonio, wake up." She cried one last time before she fell asleep beside him.
A few moments later, Antonio's alarm rang. He opened his eyes to an unusual view in front of him.
Allegra slept while cuddling with his arm. He stared at her face which was turning pale after every second. He quickly turned off the alarm and tugged Allegra closer to his body and dozed with his arm around her.
He slept very late last night, Almost at 4'o clock. His sleep schedule was messed up, but last night, Leonardo informed him to search for the mysterious person who is sending letters every week to them. Saying how he will take Allegra away from them in every one of them.
He brushed a few abandoned strands of hair from her forehead when Allegra opened her eyes. He smiled at her and pecked her forehead.
"I've been trying to wake you up for an hour now." She murmured. He lifted a brow. "You woke up after me."
"I just slept."
"When did you get here?"
"Just before your silly alarm started blasting." She crinkled her nose.
"Why did you came here?" He questioned.
"I needed few medicines." She coughed. Her throat scratched as she coughed. Antonio frowned, "First eat something. Then I'll give you a cough syrup."
"Vomit too."
"How many times?" He asked softly.
"5, I guess." He nodded. Tossing the covers from his body, he stood up, went towards his closet, and came back with a red tee shirt.
When he came back, Allegra was fast asleep. He went downstairs, he saw almost everyone on the dining table except for Alexander, whose head was inside the refrigerator.
He settled down on his usual seat and turned to look at Leonardo. "Allegra is not feeling well."
"What happened?" Marco asked on behalf of his elder brother.
"Coughs and vomits." He replied.
"Where is she?" Alessandro questioned.
"In my room." Antonio shoved a piece of apple in his mouth.
Alessandro had to do a double take. "She is where?"
Antonio scowled at him. Allegra entered the dining room and placed her butt on her chair. "How are you feeling?"
"Gorgeous." She replied. Sick Allegra is equal to snarky Allegra.
"Here is your breakfast. And then I'll give you the medicine." She bobbed her head at Antonio's word.
"Do you want to go school today?" Leonardo asked her.
"No. I just want to lie down and pass out." She replied while groaning.
"Okay. I'll ask Mia to cook you something or ask Matteo if Mia is not available." She nodded.
Half an hour later, she was bored, so she went out to search for Matteo.
She was, briefed that he would be in the library down the hall. So, she went there. Matteo sat by the huge window with dim lights encircling it. "Hey, what are you doing here?"
"I just came to look for you. I'm bored." She answered as she sat beside him.
"Well, I'm also leaving in a few minutes till Antonio comes back. But do you like reading? There are hundreds of books here, read one to pass time till he is back. Then you both can leave for a drive or something, what do you say?" Matteo put down the book he was reading, titled 'Nineteen Eighty-four'
"Is there any romance corner here?" She grinned at his face, which changed into disgust.
"I think you are feeling way too fine after Antonio gave you the medicine." He ridiculed.
" I am. No more vomits at least. Less coughing too." She assured him.
He nodded and checked the time. "Well, I'm in the living room. Antonio must be on his way. Take care." He walked towards the door and called out. "The romance is on the very last shelf."
"Who reads romance here?" He paused. He turned around with a sad smile on his face. "My mom used to."
Just as he stepped out and closed the big oak door behind him, Allegra take a look around the library. Dark brown and large wooden shelves stood proudly in front of dark leather settees.
Allegra walked to the romance corner and skimmed her fingers across the books. There was a sliding ladder attached to every shelf, easy to reach out to every book.
She stood in front of the romance shelf and gaped at the paradise in front of her. She worships books. Romance only.
Unfortunately, she never read one as she couldn't buy them at her aunt's house, and she didn't have any recommendations.
Now that she does not have to buy them and can read them for free, she won't miss the chance.
The shelves were very tall, practically touching the roof of the library, which was over 9fts. She picked the book 'Outlander' by Diana Gabaldon.
She took the book out when a piece of paper slipped from it. She mounted down from the ladder and picked up the paper.

Confused, Allegra paced straight towards the couch and sat her ass down. She stared at it for a while.
Where have I seen this? She thought.
She could bet on 1000 gold coins that her eyes may have passed through these weird symbols and digits.
Her mind instantly clicked towards Aurora's diary. "I think, that is it." She flew inside her bedroom and went where she kept it safely under the toilet's flush tank.
She ran to the Library with the diary in her hand. Her steps were steady, but her breaths were not.
She set the diary beside the paper and tallied each digit and number.
Every page of the diary had these characters written in bold. On the two last pages, it stated LIB RARY.
She tried to decode them. Her every attempt went in vain. Nothing fits with these digits.
Frustrated, she opened the book and started to read.
Read when you don't have a solution.

Half an hour later, Allegra was giggling after every 3 sec. She flipped the page when her eyes fell on the corner page.
#-3
She frowned. Either way, she kept reading further when her eyes fell on the other corner of the page.
$-4
She sat straight in her place. All the giggles and smiles out of the window.
"Could it be related to that?" She mumbled to herself. She flipped the page again, which had the last four digits.
#377-Hell
34 Hell. "What is that supposed to mean? Is that a code for another thing? Or is it a... diary?"
She went around the library searching for the supposed diary. If it was. She picked up her book again and went to put it back in its place.
She climbed the stairs and kept the book from where she picked it.
Why the heck am I stuck with all this mess? Well, it is technically my fault.
Her eyes fell on the book beside it. She squinted her eyes at the letters. "34Hell by Rosa Dantes". Her eyes dilated. A surprised 'what the fuck' surpassed her lips.
She picked up the book and stared at its dark cover. "It couldn't be." She quickly came down from the ladder and sat beside it.
She opened the book and read the first page.
