I had been sat in the car with my music in for the last three hours. It was boring, it was way too warm, and to be honest, I would rather be with Granny. OH MY GOD.

I never said goodbye to Granny! Oh my, I just disappeared. I frantically got my phone out and messaged her.

I'm so sorry Granny for not saying goodbye, I had to leave, family emergency, love you lots, your girl.

I typed it as fast as I could and sent it. William was jamming along to the radio, looking back at me now and again. I hadn't said a word the whole time we were in the car together and I think he was starting to realise what I was doing.

"So you excited?", He asked, making me instantly look up from my phone, deadpan him and roll my eyes, then look back at my phone.

"Jeez, your sassy when your grumpy", He said with a smile. He looked like he was thinking for a second before he gave a cheeky smirk but tried to conceal it.

"My little girl is like that too", He said, now not being able to stop the smirk coming out. I looked at him intrigued as I sat up straighter to show that I was interested as he just acted like he didn't see me. He nodded to the music.

"Got two of them, one boy who is 8 and my only girl who is 5.", He said raising his eyebrows at me. I really wanted to know more about them but I knew he what he was trying to do. I raised by eyebrows for him to continue but he just acted like he didn't see. I rolled my eyes at him and slumped back in my seat and put my music back on.

It's been about ten minutes and I was willing to give it all up, I guess I was just really curious.

"Ughh fine you got me, what are their names? Are you married?", I asked. He shook his head with a sad smile.

"Use to be. She passed giving birth to Jodie, Alex was only 3 so he doesn't remember her that much", He said with a sad smile. It was one of love and compassion, to show that even though his wife died, he was still happy with what she gave him in return.

"Where are they?", I asked him. He worked 24 seven since when did he have time for kids?

"At their grandparents. They live their with Emily's mum and dad, and they adore them, treat them real nice and they have their own rooms and everything. Thought it would be a better environment for them than staying with me at my flat", He said. He didn't seem too upset by it, maybe it was because he knew his kids were safe and that they were better there than with him.

"I know what your thinking you know. But they are thriving as it is, and I don't want to ruin that for them, and I love my job and I get to see them whenever I want which is whenever I get any time off. Alex is real smart you know? He got really high levels in his lower SATS, they think he can do a lot harder maths, don't ask me what I got no idea", He said laughing. I could see the pride in his eyes when he talked about his kids, he truly loved them, like they were his whole world.

"And Jodie looks just like her mum, the crazy blonde hair and such an adorable face. Makes me love her even more", He said with a smile. He then looked at me with a small open mouth realising what he just said as gave him a small smile of my own.

"Sorry Tills, I wasn't thinking", He said and put his head down. I just shook my head.

"It's fine Willie, some people are just better than others, there are people like you who accept it and love what life gave you, then there are complete narcissistic assholes who think the world owes you everything", I said slumping back down in my seat. He just nodded not saying a word.

"You got a photo?", I asked. He nodded and motioned to the front door side. I reached over and looked inside his wallet which had a photo of him a few years younger, and a woman with long blonde hair a head smaller than him smiling at the little boy below her covered in sand. They were at the beach. A small boy around two or three ish was stood with a bucked and a spade spilling sand everywhere as his mum laughed, a pregnant belly shown through the swim suit. William was cheering and staring at her with pure love and affection. It was obvious even from this photo that he was in love.

"Jodie helped me heal, she saved us all. I don't know what I would of done without her", He said with a sad smile, his eyes starting to go glossy with unshed tears.

"And she will always be grateful of that you know? That you stepped up and took care of here even with the pain", I said with a smile, putting his wallet back with the photo inside. He coughed and we entered a small gated area.

"Anyway, home sweet home", He said. I just rolled my eyes and opened the window. The fresh air poured into the car, as well as the smell of cow crap. I wasn't too bothered about it though as it was the countryside.

It was a long ass driveway, with trees outlining the path up to the house, with a freshly cut garden in the front and a huge fountain. It was olden styled house with orange roof and a giant front door. It had giant windows decorated everywhere I looked, even a large turret in the back on the building. It was honestly beautiful.



"Wow", I slowly said in awe, peaking out the window. I got out the car running around the car park staring at everything. I could see the garden went on for miles, with areas of woods and even a small river in the back. That's where I would go for my time, the perfect spot of pure tranquillity. William laughed at me and motioned to a moving truck next to the house.

I ran up to it, and swung the doors open. When I looked inside I realised that it was empty.

"Where's all my stuff?", I asked William. He pointed to the house.

"They had it all put in your room ready for you to unbox", He said with a smile. I looked around for the others but they weren't here yet I guess as I couldn't see their cars.

"Where are the others?", I asked William, grabbing my bad from the car, tucking my phone carefully into my back pocket.

"Inside, they got here a few minutes ago", He said. I nodded at him and stared once again at the house. I ran round the side with William shouting my name. There was a giant basketball court at the side and a tennis court round the other side on a dip. I ran in and put my bag down, playing with the basketball.

I was shooting hoops and having fun, laughing as William finally caught up trying to take the ball away from me, but I swiftly got the ball past him and threw it into the hoop, in which he attempted to block but failed miserably.

We were laughing when a voice just had to ruin it.

"Hey sis, you like it here?", Ravy asked, with Rome, Lucian and Millian behind him, all watching me play, even Lucian who normally ignored me. I just ignored them completely, grabbed my backpack and walked around the front and entered through the giant ass doors which were way to extra in my opinion but whatever.

I entered to a medium sized hallway with a giant chandelier in the centre, that led down with multiple ways to go, it had two sets of stairs going either way to the top of the house, with three sets meaning three floors. One probably led to the turret building. I walked to the left and saw a giant living room space, and to the right a giant kitchen with marble counters and a giant island in the centre. They even had one of those huge double fridges.

I walked straight ahead to see a huge dining place, and a few more rooms attached to that, a gaming room, and a bar room. I turned back around and went to the left of the main hallway and saw office spaces, with Stone's name on it. I ignored this bit and went upstairs. All the rooms had names on them, with it going from youngest to oldest. Oddly my room wasn't there. I kept walking until I got to the end of the corridor in which you could go left or right. I went to the left and walked into a huge cinema room, with the biggest t.v I had ever seen, with huge chairs and snacks machines all stood behind stacked to the brim. There was even a freezer full of my favourite ice-cream.

I had never been to a cinema before but I had seen photo's from other kids at my school who had gone with their parents and friends. I was sometimes invited but my father always denied on my part. Soon enough the kids just stopped talking to me all together and I just sat alone at break and nap times.

I went back to the room corridor and went to the right this time. Which led to a longer hallway and then to a door right at the end. I could see my name imprinted onto it. So they put me as far away from them as possible. Whatever, their loss I guess.

I walked to the end and opened the door as it led to a spiral set of stairs. This must be the turret room. I strolled slowly up with the stairs made from marble, and flowers and plants surrounding the place. I got to the top where there was a little balcony, with a huge chair and a bookshelf filled to the brim with books. I smiled and thought about how many hours I would stay there sitting and just reading.

I then opened the door to my room and stood in the archway. Then walked in to be greeted by a blue princess styled bed, with blue curtains everywhere, it was a double bed, with a small arched nook in the corner with some chairs and a table. It was like some hotel room or something, it looked so plain and bare inside. My boxes with my clothes and stuff were sat in the corner. There was a huge build in closet next to the bedroom door and what looked like a small bathroom leading onto it.



It had a shower, a huge bath and two sinks. Now that's when you know you rich, when you have TWO sinks. I looked at the room and decided I wanted to change quite a lot of it. I loved purple so I would change the bedsheets, get some new pillows, repaint the room itself fully white, with a purple wallpaper for the wall behind the bed, get some different chairs. There was a t.v up against the wall anyway so it meant that I could stay here for as long as I want and only go down when I need food.

Like my childhood home but instead I had stuff to do instead of staring at a door for hours on end. I went back downstairs, dropping my backpack off in my room at the same time, and looked around for William.

"William?", I shouted but got no reply. I went to go outside when Ravy and Rome both showed up in front of me, making me jump with shock.

"Did you need something?", They asked at the same time. I was still not going to talk to them of course but I just gave them a small shake of my head as I went outside. They were both following me , with one on either side as I walked.

"We know what your doing.", Ravy said. I just ignored him and saw William in the back garden messing around with the basketball. I ran up to him, scaring him as I screamed boo. He yelped in shock and I wheezed in laughter.

"Did you need something Tills?", He asked with a playful smile. I nodded with a cheeky grin to return.

"Is there a like a decorator store near here?", I asked, still aware of the twins behind me.

"You want to redecorate tills? We can help if you want?", Rome said with a bit of hope in his voice. I just shook my head, not even looking at them. Hey they said they wanted me dead, might as well act like it.

"Sure lets go", He said.

I followed him to the car, ignoring the sad glances I got from the twins.

Karma's a bitch huh boys.
