Pandavas and Draupadi were sad when Kunti told them to leave Hastinapur without her. Except Sahdev all were confident that they will get Kunti back soon. They just have perform a rajsuya yagna as soon as possible. They decided as sson as their kingdom will be redy to run they will perform a rajsuya yagna. They weren't worried about whether they will be successful or not as they were confident about that after all who could stop them, the Devputra, disciples of Guru Drona and cousin of Dwarkadhish Shree Krishna. They were sure that they can easily do yagna and then Yudhishthir will be Samrat not just a King. They will rightfully take their mata back to their kingdom.

They know citizens of Hastinapur will follow them as who want to live under jurisdiction of Duryodhana. They have decided to leave for Khandavprast as soon as possible. So city wide announcement was made those who wants to leave with Pandavas can leave after two days. The news of partioning spread in the whole Hastinapur. The Pandavas themselves with Draupadi was preparing to leave.

They had idea to mess with Karna by constantly standing beside the chariot whole day. They told him that they might come down to roam around Hastinapur for encouraging people to go with them. But of course they never cared for people as they were sure a whole lot will come with them but making karna stand from sunrise to dinner was pleasing them. Karna of course did what was told to him.

Two days later the Pandavas with Draupadi exited the palace Krishna was with them. There were two Chariots present below the chariot. Krishna took charioteer seat of one of Chariot. He was silently protesting against what Pandavas were doing but Pandavas thought that he didn't want to be in company of Karna. They became angry Draupadi climbed on Krishna's Chariot with other Pandavas except Sahdev who just silently climbed on Karna's Chariot. Draupadi couldn't get him as he was always silent and distant from them. After mairrage it was decided that Drupadi will spent two years with one of her husband and then she will move in with another. She was living with Yudhishthir now.

The journey was of two days but as Pandavas thought many people came with them. They were happy seeing the support people have for Yudhishthir. They reached Khandavprast and saw it was a jungle filled with illusions and maya on the river bank of Yamuna. They were informed by Krishna that a asur named mayaasur was also living in the forest with snake clan and its leader Takshak. Mayaasur was architect of great calibre. After arriving Khandavprast the started doing bhoomi Puja but they were suddenly attacked and bit by snakes living in the forest. Only Pandavas, Draupadi, Krishna and Karna were awake. Pandavas were angry seeing this. They have decided to go to Takshak after bhoomi poojat to grant him asylum but they never thought that takshak will attack first. Yudhishthir told Arjun to send a message to snake clan to come and suck back all the poisons of the people came with them and they will give them asylum or else they will attack. Arjun fired an arrow with message tied on it to the forest. After few minutes the the arrow and message was returned by a snake who has put the letter just at the border of jungle. The letter seemed to melted in the middle where the message was written.

Bheem : How dare they, those mere snakes are so arrogant.

Arjun : What makes them so arrogant?

Krishna : Takshak has assurance of Indra dev that he will keep him safe. If we attak him or forest Indra dev will come to fight with us.

Draupadi : Oh my god what will we do. If don't do anything these people will die but who can defeat Indra dev he is king of swarg and all dev. No mortal can defeat him.

Krishna : Sakhi indradev is very powerfull sure but he isn't unbeatable. Humans too have defeated him before.

Draupadi : Who are you talking about Krishna.

Krishna : You will know when the time will come sakhi but we have to deal with what's going on now.

Yudhishthir : Krishna is right we have to do something but what.

Krishna : Indradev will not fight his son to death. We should let Arjun fight with him.

Arjun : Ok krishna, if you say so, I will fight Pitashree.

Krishna : You will have to fight with your full capacity Arjun. I said indradev will not kill you but he will surely try to subdue you.

Arjun : I know Madhav.

Krishna : You will need Chariot and Charioteer for this fight.

Bheem : So that this suta is awake, you must have saved him for this reason only otherwise he would be like rest of them.

Nakul : No brother Bheem he must have been bitten but the poison of snake would have been nothing compared to poison this suta has.

Bheem : Oh! You must be right Nakul.

Arjun : Karna you go and bring the chariot. Today you will again see how skill full I am when I fight with Pitashree.

Karna just left to bring the chariot. Horses were not harmed by snakes only humans. Krishna chuckled at the irony of the things happening. Pandavas thought Krishna was laughing at Karna and they laughed too but Sahdev noticed the sheer amusement in Krishna's chuckle and frowned. He couldn't get the reason behind amusement but he was sure Krishna was not making fun of Karna, then what. Karna came back with the chariot. Arjun climbed on it and others went to a distance to make sure the will not come in between the fight. Krishna stayed there. Arjun fires an agneyastra to burn the jungle. Seeing this Takshak called indradev and told him someone is attacking the jungle and he has to fullfill his promise to protect him as he lived in jungle. Takshak told him someone even after knowing Indradev was protecting him still attacked the forest. Indradev got angry at that.

Indradev summoned the cloud to rain and extinguish the fire but arjun fired varunastra and dispersed the clouds. Indradev saw that and was angry. He summoned his elephant Airavata and Angrily went where Arjun was firing the arrows. He reached there and saw a chariot. Though he was angry he wanted to who has courage to attack on he forest knowing his promise to Takshak.

He was remembering when same thing happened few years ago, he clearly remembered what has transpired. He was punishing a village for not praying to him but to others. He stopped rain from happening to village causing draught there then a young man came to village and started shooting Varunastra to help villagers. He arrived there to warn the young man but he didn't listen saying it was his teacher's order to help the villagers. He got angry and fought him with his full might. The battle was of two days. He used every astra on young man but he countered it angrily he used his Vajra which the young man countered it with Brahamastra. Then young man had broken his bow with agneyastra and summoned brahamsirastra seeing nother option he accepted his defeat. He was angry at his defeat but marveled at the skills of that young man. Defeating him was no easy feat especially when he is fighting at his full might, after all he is king of Dev's for a reason, he has defeated vitra,ahi and various asurs but that young man had done it. He didn't left his name but he did inform him of his teacher name. Hearing his teacher's name He has to rain on that village. The young man then touched his feet and left. He was sure he has to once again face humiliation in the world as this young man will surely boast around how he has defeated Devraj Indra but to his surprise the young man didn't do it and aslo asked villgers to never spread the words as he was just doing what his teacher has told him. He was impressed and amazed anyone else would have boasted about it to whole world. He was sure this archer wasn't him as this archer didn't possess same might and strength in his arrows as that one. This archer too had great skills just not on par of that young man.

He went near the chariot and was shocked to see his son was firing arrows. He saw Krishna standing beside the chariot but what shocked him most was seeing the young man defeated him as Charioteer. He could never forget the face of this mortal as after meghnath, only he has defeated him even if the world doesn't know about it. He was surprised why a student of Bhagwan Parshuram will become Charioteer for his son. For a moment he forgot what he has come here for. His thoughts were intrrupted by Krishna.

Krishna : Pranipat Devraj. Have you came to fulfill your promise.

Indradev : Pranipat Vasudev. Yes I have came her to stop these attacks for my promise to Takshak.

Krishna : Promise and decision are strange amd tricky things Devraj. Some time it leads one to directly protect the sinners and sometimes indirectly by hiding ones identity from the world.

Krishna looked at karna saying the last part. Indradev understood what he was implying. So he reigned his curiosity for now. He can easily know about situation if paid attention later, Arjun who now saw his father stopped firing arrows to disperse the clouds.

Arjun : Pranipat Pitashree.

Indradev : kalyan ho Arjun. What are you doing, you know Takshak is protected by me and I will have to fight you to save him once. Even then you are trying to set this forest in fire? Why?

Arjun told him that Takshak attacked the innocent people who came here with them. So he is only doing what a prince of a kingdom should do.

Indradev : What are you saying is right Arjun but I have to keep my promise. Let me see my son's skills too come lets fight, don't hesitate for I am going to test you even if you're defeated I can't kill you.

Arjun : As you wish Pitashree.

Two of them fought, it was a great fight. They fought for two hours but it was close to draw even if Indra was usin 65% of his strength. As usual Arjun's Chariot was sved because of Karna and his kundals but indradev was on Airavata so unlike Drupad he was not going to fall Seeing fight go on this long Krishna decided to intervene.

Krishna : please both of you stop the fight.

Indradev : But I have not fulfilled my promise.

Krishna : You fought your son for Takshak. You promise is completed indradev.

Indradev : If you say that than it must be true Vasudev.

Indradev was happy seeing he didn't have to fight anymore with his son. Arjun's skills impressed him, He stated from using 10% of skills and Arjun has forced him to use 65%but he can see it was Arjun's limit. Krishna stopped battle for his son's sake. He was little disappointed but Arjun's was his son so he have to help him. He thought of quick way to help him.

Indradev :You skills impressed me greatly son, in future you will be more formidable.

Arjun : It is honour to have fight you, I have learnt a lot.

Indradev : I am happy Putra, so I will tell dev Vishwakarma to build a city and palace for you as a gift after you burn this forest.

Arjun : Thank you Pitashree.

Indradev left from there but before leaving he gave a thankful nod to krishna and Karna for their help to Arjun in battle. Krishna smiled while karna forced a smile which made indradev frown before leaving. Indradev returned to heaven and told viswakarma to do as he promised to Arjun, after Arjun burned the forest. He then closed his eyes to see what is going on. What he saw astounded and shamed him, he saw what Pandavas did to Karna, then his curiosity grew about karna and he decided to know who he is, he has no words to describe to explain what he saw his birth, abondonement, insult, injustice, sacrifice, etc. he decided to go to Suryadev to apologise for what his son did to Karna. He went to Suryalok. Suryadev was surprised to see Devraj here.

Suryadev : Pranipat Indradev.

Indradev : Pranipat Suryadev.

Suryadev : Why have you came here indradev.

Indradev : I came here to ask apology.

Suryadev : So you know.

Indradev : Yes I saw it after returning to heaven. I don't have words to express my shame or Karna's greatness.

Suryadev : You don't have to, I too am reason for this happening. I should have brought him back with me but he was mortal and rules didn't allow and balance couldn't be broken.

Indradev : Don't blame yourself, nobody can go against niyati.

Suryadev : Yes, you are right. Nobody could go against it but it pains me to see him like that.

Indradev : He will find solace, Narayan himself is with him.

They both talked and Indra dev left.

At Khandavprast.

After Indradev left, arjun shot Agneyastra once again and fire reached at it peak, the forest burnt for two hours. Takshak was able to save himself but rest of animals died in that fire. Mayasur decide to run but Krishna capture him. Mayasur begged, krishna said he can live but he have to build a mayavi Sabha in the palace. Mayasur agreed. Pandavas and Draupadi came to arjun. He too dismounted the carriage and told them about Indradev's gift they were happy. Kana too dismounted the chariot and was standing away from them. Pandavas decide to mock Karna as how they have more beautiful palace and kingdom's than his favourite Duryodhana. After fire was subsidized Agnidev appeared.

Everyone : Pranipat Agnidev.

Agnidev : Kalyan ho, Arjun you have fullfilled my hunger by burning this mayavi forest, so I came here to give a gift to you.

Agnidev chanted mantras and a bow appeared in his hands.The bow was a double curve bow with great proportionst It had 108 strings on it.

Agnidev : Arjun this is Gandiv bow, it was created by Brahamdev himself it was passed on to many like Prajapati Daksh, indradev, chandradev and finally to Varundev. Even Mahadev has wield it to kill various daitya and asur, I have personally asked it from Varundev to present it for you. It has tremendous weight and one of its string is celestial which cannot be broken. Whenever an arrow will be fired the strings will make loud thunderous sounds that will fill the enemy with dread. The bow will glow bright during battle and will difficult to look at. It had the capability to enhance the strength of an arrow by many times. It is equal to Sarang and pinak bow as it's bow of Tridevs. Take it Arjun, only you could weild it. I will heal poison from every one here, they will wake up after some time.

Arjun accepted the bow and Agnidev disappeared.

Bheem : See suta, you still doubt Arjun is best archer.he is Able to wield one bow that Mahadev himself has used, it was presented to him by Agnidev and Arjun battled Indradev to draw with his normal bow.

Nakul : You must be burning inside.

Draupadi : You must be bitter as now you have no argument to deny Aarya Arjun is the best. You have soothed you ego before by denying it but now you can't.

Karna was doing what he always did kept quiet. Draupadi was irritated by it.

Draupadi : Why aren't you replying are you deaf or you have no words.

Yudhishthir and Arjun was also looking towards Karna, to hear what he is going to say. But to their disappointment he just kept quiet. Krishna was smiling sadly, he thought these people didn't knew who they are taking to. Pandavas wanted to countinue but Lord viswakarma himself came there.

Everyone : Pranipat Lord Vishwakarma.

Viswakarma : Kalyan ho., I have here to do as Devraj told me to.

Krishna : I have as doubt Lord Vishwakarma can you clarify it to me.

Viswakarma (smiled) : Ask me Vasudev, if you are curious than it must be something important.

Krishna : Is there no bow stronger than Mahadev's Pinak, My Sarang and Arjun's Gandiv.

Viswanathan : There is a bow that is stronger than them.

Arjun : What? there is a bow stronger than tridevs bow, which is it and who has it?

Viswakarma : Yes, it's called Vijaya. It was wielded by Mahadev himself, when Dev's were being oppressed by Tripurasur three sons, they went to Mahadev for help , Mahadev asked to make an arrow to do task because of their boon from Brahamdev that their cities which were on sky, earth and patal to be destroyed by only one weapon. Lord Vishnu himself became the Arrow himself, Agni became its tip and Vaayu had became the feather the arrow that was used to do the task. Despite of Pinak, Sarang and Gandiv bows already existing the arrow was too powerful to be fired from them. So that is why I was tasked to create a divine bow by tridevs themselves. I made it with their blessings. It is finest bow till date, The celestial string of that bow will not be broken by any astra or any divine weapon. When arrows will be released the twang of the bow will be as loud as thunder,which will cause great fear and despair on the enemy. It produces brilliant flashes like lightening that blinded the enemy. Not many warriors can withstand it’s splendour in battle. The energy of the arrows will be amplified by a thousand times as the bow was chanted with many sacred mantras. No weapon, not even the Pashupatastra can harm the warrior who will carry Vijaya in battle. It is called Vijaya for the reason that it's wielder can't be defeated. It was used by Mahadev to destroy three cities of Tripurasur sons and kill them on a occasion that happened once I thousands years where their cities aligned. It was given to indradev for safekeeping and then on orders of Mahadev it was passed to Bhagwan Parshuram to fight the evil Kshatriye. Bow is with him.

Pandavas were amazed listening to this, Karna too was shocked as his gurudev gave him the bow and didn't go in its history or boon. Krishna was smiling his task was done. Pandavas and Draupadi were quiet.

Viswakarma : Now I have comlete my task.

Then a breathtaking palace was built first and mayasur and vishvakarma together build mayavi Sabha that is like sabh of sward it self. Then a beautiful city was created. Then viswakarma and mayaasur left. Pandavas and Draupadi were busy admiring the city. While Krishna was smiling, Sahdev was quietly looking the architecture and Karna was standing nonchalantly as he never was big on materialistic things. The people came to Khandavprast woke up and saw the beautiful city. They couldn't believe in just few hours this jungle was turned into such beautiful city. They thought their decision of coming with Pandavas was right. The stated cheering and shouting names of Pandavas and Draupadi.

Pandavas and Draupadi were enjoying the game and love. After crowd calmed down Yudhishthir told them to chose place and build a community to live. As Varna vayvastha must be followed. He declared this kingdom as Indraprastha as it was gift from indradev and sabha was like sabha in swarg. Everyone followed their decision and began to choose. Krishna decided to leave as his work was done. He told them that and left on his chariot. Pandavas and Draupadi went to palace on Chariot which Karna was driving. Karna left them at palace stairs and left for stable. Pandavas didn't pay attention to him as they want to see their palace.
