The atmosphere in the hall turned grim. Nobody could even see when Vrushali moved drew her sword and now it was on Arjun's neck. Rest Pandavas including Sahdev drew out their weapons. Eklavya, hidimba even ghatotkach has their weapons drawn. They were glaring at each other. Seeing the situation everyone took out their weapon. Even Duryodhana and Shakuni took out their weapons though reluctantly and only to support Ashwatthama. They were actually enjoying the humiliation of Pandavas the most. The females in the room were scared. A fight was ready to break out. But a twang resounded in the hall, everyone felt that they have seen their death in most gruesome ways. They turned around and saw it was Karna who plucked his bow string. His eyes were red and absolute anger was in it. Though his face was blank his eyes was enough to show the amount of anger and restraint he was showing given the current situation. Those present here would never confess but they were frozen in fear.

Karna : We all have gathered for Mahashivratri. There are lot of revered sage present here. I don't want blood shed here. You all are our guest but try to harm single hair of my family, I will personally kill you.

His words broken out several From their stupour but they got even more angry hearing what Karna said. They fear was gone and kshatriya pride took over.

Random king : You suta, you dare to raise weapons in front of us the mighty kshatriya.

Random king 2 : By learning some tricks do you think you can kill all of us. You needed to be punished, we will kill not you but your family so that the Aaryavrat will know one should not go against their fate. You were born to sevre not to rule.

Random King 3 : Not only your family but you guru should be punished, he did Adharm by teaching you the saved vedas and weapons. First we will kill your Adharmi wife.

Saying that three launched towards Vrushali who was close to them but before their first step was taken their heads rolled to ground and their body fell because of inertia. Everyone was surprised then they looked that two sages were present there only two people recornised them that were Bheeshma and Droncharya. They veere confuse seeing them and called them.

Both : Gurudev, Gurumata.

Now everyone immediately got to know who these two people were. They were scared for their life seeing angry Bhagwan Parshuram and Mata Dharini there with their weapons. Bhagwan Parshuram and Mata Dharini didn't even acknowledge them as they were glaring at those who were pointing their weapons towards Karna, Vrushali and Eklavya. Bhagwan Parshuram with Mata Dharini were standing there with his axe drawn and blood dripping from it. They got scared, Parshuram looked like he was going to kill everyone and Mata Dharini too was angry and had a sword drawn. They immediately lowered their weapons they didn't want to add their names on the long list of Kshatriye being killed by Bhagwan Parshuram. They were bewildered by their sudden arrival. It was known that Bhagwan Parshuram and Mata Dharini didn't visit any kingdom so then why they came here and why have they killed those three kings who attacked Vrushali as it was known that Bhagwan Parshuram stopped killing and fighting. They were as scared as they were confused. But most confused was none other than Bheeshma and Droncharya because they have noticed their protectiveness towards Vrushali.

Parshuram : Who else dare to harm my daughter.

Mata Dharini : Aarya it seems the prithvi needed to cleanse of the arrogant kshatriya again.

His question was greeted with complete silence in the sabha. Everyone has their eyes wide opened by fear hearing them. They were sure their end was here and it was none other than the divine couple themselves. The anger of Bhagwan Parshuram is known to everyone. They looked pissed and ready to kill everyone. Vrushali and Karna saw them, they lowered their weapons and came to touch their feet.

Karna : Pranipat Gurudev, Pranipat gurumata.

Vrushali : Pranipat Pitashree, Pranipat Mata.

Anger of divine couple instantly vanished and they smiled while touching their heads.

Divine couple : Aayushman Bhava, Kirtiman bhava.

Everyone is as once again surprised by sudden of events. They never even dreamt that karna was student of Bhagwan Parshuram and Vrushali calling them mother and father has led to some kings fell on the floor with thud but nobody paid attention to them as they were too engrossed looking at scene front of them. Bheeshma and Droncharya was even more surprised. In their surprise they forget everything and asked

Bheeshma : Gurudev, when did you have daughter, why nobody knew of her.

Parshuram : She is my daughter though we are not blood related. She is student of Dharini and I personally did her kanyadaan so she will s my daughter and you dared to raise weapons in her.

Dronacharya : Gurudev, we are sorry, we didn't knew otherwise we would never do that. But why have she married to a suta.

Dharini : Drona, my daughter has married who she loves. Did you not remember Aarya calling Karna his students. He is your Gurubhrata.

Dronacharya : Mata, I have no such Gurubhrata. I will never accept a suta equal to me.

Parshuram : Drona, then after today I have no student name Drona. I can't take my knowledge back but you will never be able to teach anyone anything you have learned from me ever again, that is your punishment

Dronacharya was disturbed by the declaration, he was angry that for a suta his teacher has decided to abandon him. His anger blinded him.

Dronacharya : I don't need to anyone ever again, I have trained the best archer of the world.

Parshuram : Oh! Best Archer of the world, so you are telling me one of your students is best Archer in the world, then why don't you prove it. Infact I will give you a chance, you can call any of your students and if they can defeat karna in any Sastra, hands to hand fight, knowledge, wisdom, dharm anything then I Jamadagni Putra Parshuram will accept you as most superior teacher in prithvi lok.

Dronacharya : I accept your challenge. Seven of my students are present here Pandavas, Duryodhana and Ashwatthama. These are enough to prove a suta can never be greater than Kshatriye and brahman.

Parshuram : Putra Karna, let the world know and see what Parshuram Shisya Radhey can do.

Karna : Ji gurudev.

Parshuram : Drona, name your challenge and competition.

Dronacharya : I nominate Yudhishthir for dharm knowledge and spear fighting, Bheem for strength and hand to hand fight, Duryodhana for mace fight, arjun for archery, Ashwatthama for swords fight, Nakul for medical knowledge, and Sahdev for knowledge and axe fighting.

Parshuram's : Fine then if before sunset karna could not defeat seven of your students I will apologize to you. Don't worry I will not be judge but saint vasisht will be judge of all the competition.

Everyone was shocked listening to both of them. Karna was shocked, he clenched his fist. To let his guru apologize, no karna would die before that. Dronacharya dared to even argue with his guru because of his arrogance, Karna pledge to shatter it today. Vrushali look at Karna, he was. Calmly standing there but only she who was here knew the tsunami behind his Calm exterior. Duryodhana decide to fight for his teacher honour, Ashwatthama was angry because of his father wouldn't able to teach him the tridevs astra now, because of punishment of Bhagwan Parshuram. He will not defeat but kill karna who was responsible for all of this. Pandavas except Sahdev were happy thae final got a chance to show Karna his place and by doing so they will also prove their teacher was best among teachers of Aaryavrat.

Sahdev who was silently observing every thing happened today finally got his answers and solved some of his questions that he has for Karna. He was happy seeing Karna again and that too as a king. Sahdev who spent most of his time thinking about Karna has deciphered some things about him. He know exactly what the results of competition will be. First Karna was well trained now he knew who his teacher is. He knew he was more knowledgeable of dharm than Yudhishthir, he has seen his strength in Varnavrat, he was more knowledgeable than him. What he got confirmation was about other king Karna could do. Seeing the confidence Bhagwan Parshuram has on him it wasn't very difficult for him to guess the results. He turned around to look and saw Madhav was smiling knowingly at him.

Krishna who knew what will happen so from the start he told his family to just be spectactator today and don't do any thing. There was another person who knew what will be results today, it was none other than Bheeshma. Drona in his arrogance may jave forget that Bhagwan Parshuram was not just their teacher but seventh Avatar of lord Vishnu himself. If he was sure Karna could defeat all the competitors then thre is no need to even has doubt about it. Today Hastinapur will become joke in all Aaryavrat. Not only because the princes will loose but also because entire Aaryavrat will get to know that how foolishly Hastinapur and it's yuvraj used a capable warriors such as Karna because of prejudice of yudhishthir and Pandavas. He knew something was different about Karna, since the first time he saw him. How his body was like trained warrior but his behaviour was not. He was not afraid to speak his mind to anyone. That kind of courage required immense confidence, he wanted to go to his mother to ask about him but when Karna accepted the punishment of Yudhishthir he let go of his curiosity towards him. But now knowing him as his Gurubhrata did he realise what mistake has he done with him.

The rules were set and everybody was escorted to the stadium. Soon the news spread all over kingdom. The people of Brahmnagri became angry hearing that their King and Queen has been insulted and others tried to harm them. For them they both are not just rulers but parents who has selflessly looked after them for three years. As soon as they heard that Bhagwan Parshuram and Drona they immediately went towards stadium to show their support to their King. Not only them but many commoner who came either to visit the kingdom or asking alms from Karna too went to stadium to see what would be results.

Everyone gathered in the stadium to see that it was a large and complex stadium but their eyes went wide as the saw the stadium was self expanding to provide seats to all those who came to see the competition. Common people cheered while sages folded their hands and said “Om namah Brahmadev”.

The stadium seems to have divided in three faction. On one side were kings and royals who still arrogantly believes that Pandavas and other will sure win, they didn't care if Bhagwan Parshuram was Karna's teacher, they only believed that A suta can never be equal to kshatriya. Beside them were a platform were usually the royals of kindom sits but today it was different the revered sages were sitting there, surprisingly krishna, balram, Rukmini and Revati too We e sitting there. Radha, Adhiratha, Vrushali, Eklavya, Hidimba, Subhadra and Ghatotkach were standing behind them. On the other sides were citizens of Brahmnagri who came to their support to their King. And between kings and them were the guests the commoners of who came to watch the show came.

It was time close to noon saint vasisht came in centre of field. Everyone got up and greeted him, he too greeted them all. Then he announced the format of competition. First there will be dharm debate between Karna and yudhishthir and five questions will be asked by sages and judgement will be passed by sages present there. Then the medical knowledge will be tested between Karna and Nakul, after that the exchange of knowledge and wisdom will take place between Sahdev and Karna. Only then the fights will happen. Them he welcomed the participants. Droncharya came with his students and on other side Parshuram came with karna. After that both karna and Yudhishthir took blessings of their teacher and came to centre of field where they bowed to revered sages.

Saint Vasishta : You both have to answer five questions asked by five sages present here. You have to explain why you think your answer is correct. So be prepared. Let the competition begin.

Yudhishthir and Karna Nodded. They were prepared for any questions. Suddenly vedvyas stood up.

Ved vyas : What is dharm.

Yudhishthir : Dharm is way of life, following it one can achieve moksh. It brings prosperity and happiness to society.

Karna (smiled) : Dharm is Humanity. Humanity is dharm.

Everyone was shocked hearing his answers, and he royals wanted to sneer at him but a voice interrupted them. It was none other than vedvyas.

Ved vyas : Sadho.

Then he sat back without telling who is the winner.

Sage Durvasa : What is limit of Dharm.

Yudhishthir : There is no limit to Dharm.

Karna : When dharm became a tool to spread Adharm then that is limit of Dharm.

Sage Durvasa : Sadho

He too sat back.

Sage Markandeya : What is biggest dharm of King.

Yudhishthir : To lead and protect the Kingdom and it's people.

Karna : To sever his people. To nurture them. To plant the dharm in heart of his subjects.

Sage Markandeya nodded and sat down.

Sage vishwamitra : What is Adharm.

Yudhishthir : Any things other that what is written as dharm in Vedas is Adharm.

Karna : If you deeds harms innocent then it is Adharm.

Sage Vasishta : What is most destructive in this world.

Yudhishthir : Ignorance is most destructive in this world.

Karna : Half knowledge and perceived dharm is most destructive in this world.

Sage Vasishta : Why do you that Samrat Karna.

Karna : Both leads a knowledgeable person to do Adharm.

Sage Vasishta (smiled) : With this the competition ended. The winner of this competition will be announced by. Vasudev.

Hearing this all the royal became happy because they were sure that yudhishthir has won other wise the revered sages wouldn't allow cousin of Pandavas to announce the winner. Pandavas, Draupadi, kunti and Drona became happy thinking of same. They held their head high with proud look. They veere ready to mock Karna but Krishna decision shocked them.

Krishna : I announce Radhey karna as winner of this competition.

His decision shocked everyone especially Yudhishthir's family. Yudhishthir couldn't take the loss so he asked.

Yudhishthir : How did I loose Krishna.

Krishna : You didn't loose bade bhaiya, it's just sages here decided Samrat Karna was winner, there is no winners or loser in Dharm debate.

Sage Vasishta : King Yudhishthir, it's decision of every sage combined please respect that.

Hearing that Yudhishthir became quiet but in his heart he disagreed not only him but all his supporters did feel so but fear of curse from revered sages scared them so they kept quiet.

Next was discussion between Nakul and karna Nakul too lost but was not convinced. Then it was time for Sahdev and Karna to discuss about scholar knowledge. But Sahdev gestures he forfet the match. Everyone thought it was because of his maun so they understood but only Sahdev himself knew he will not him. He was not even sure if Vidhur can win against Karna let alone him. He wasn't arrogant to believe himself as most knowledgeable pe son to exist in the world.

Seeing the dreadful defeat of Pandavas and Guru drona the side of royas went deadly quiet while citizens and guest of Brahmnagri was cheering Karna's name. The crowd seems to enjoying the debates very much. Various upper caste were astonished by what was happening how can a suta win against three Pandavas that too in the field they mastered.

Drona was getting angrier and angrier, he thought may be Bhagwan Parshuram did teach this petty suta something but he was sure that things will change as soon as his students started fighting. Bhagwan Parshuram has a gentle smile on his face seeing his students capabilities was shown to the entire world. He was never worried for second for his student.

Now it was time for battle to take place. Drona arranged the fight in order of students capabilities from lowest to highest. He was sure first fight itself will be enough but seeing everything happened he arranged in such way that even if Karna reached to last one he will be too tired to even lift weapons. He declared Sahdev will go first, then yudhishthir, then Ashwatthama, then Duryodhana, after him Bheem and finally his best student Arjun.
