Next day,

Karna woke up did his Pooja and came to his chariot where Krishna was already sitting in Charioteer seat. See Karna he smiled.

Krishna : So Karna, ready for today's battle.

Karna : Yes Prabhu, today I won't fight half heartedly.

Krishna (smiled) : I know that Karna, but not only you but your opponent will also be more focused and deadly than before.

Karna : I know Prabhu.

Krishna smiled, Karna climbed up the chariot then Krishna took him to battlefield where his nine opponents were already there. Krishna did sankhnath which was replied by Bheeshma. After that Arjun picked hoa Gandiv to twang he wanted Karna to fell his animosity and resolve, karna too replied he picked his Mitra Dhanush and made a loud twang. Both fighters declared the beginning of battle as decided be fore 8 Maharathi came in front of Yudhishthir and started fighting Karna but unlike yesterday Karna's arrow were several times powerful than before, his arrow were like lightning striking eight of them only Bheeshma and Drona were are to counter attack. The fight were of completely different class than yesterday. Unlike yesterday Bheeshma and Karna have focused expression.

Though Karna was fighting with 7 different opponents only Bheeshma and Drona were able to block him. His used several divine Astra first he defeated Duryodhana and bided him in Nagpas them Bheem was defeated, Bheem tried to unbind himself but it was not possible for him. Then king Bhagdad was defeated Karna can defeat these three because archery were not their prime means of fighting and were weak link there now only Bheeshma, drona, Ashwatthama and Arjun was left. A terrifying battle of archery took place where several divyastra were exchanged but being trained by Dev's themselves in using their astra Karna used the divyastra to its maximum potential unlike his opponents. He first destroyed the bow of Ashwatthama and before he could use another weapons he bound him, seeing his son defeated Drona was enraged and fiercely stared firing arrows, spear and other weapons at Karna which were countered by him. Then before sunset karna has destroyed all 107 strings of Gandiv and like in competition of Brahmnagri he made Arjun weaponless and bound him too. Only three students of Bhagwan Parshuram was left to fight in war.

Now Bheeshma and Drona let go of all their worries and truly shown their abilities as it was only able n their shoulders the outcome depends on. The battle took place was unseen by anyone present there. Three of them showed their true power for the first time, Karna's kavach and kundals were forced to summon facing these two Maharathi which he didn't need to use until now. The fight became destructive land suffered when these three mighty figther collided, one by one all divyastras known to anyone was exchanged. Karna fought on equal ground with Bheeshma and Drona. Other present there awed by the battle, kings who wanted revenge from Brahmnagri and Karna were so scared at this moment is let alone them not even there decended would think of fighting against Brahmnagri ever again. Kauravas and Pandavas who were watching the battle couldn't belive that someone could fight Their Pitamah and gurudev at same time on even grounds. Drona being cursed of forgetting tridevaastra was defeated when Karna used vaisnavastra to break his bow in two pieces and bound in Nagpas. As soon as Drona was defeated the sankhnath resounded and end of second day of battle was announced both Bheeshma and Karna lowered their weapons.

Both fighter then left the battlefield knowing the battle from now would be determining one.

On Pandavas tent every king with Pandavas, Kauravas, Ashwatthama, Drona and Bheeshma were present.

Duryodhana : I can't believe that it has come to this on second day of fight only. Our advantage is gone only pitamah is left for battle against Karna.

Arjun : Seven years, I trained, fought and prepared for seven years to get the chance to wash of my humiliation and prove myself as best but all is I vain now.

Bheem : it's because Krishna suggested we don't use our whole army if not the circumstances would be different.

Nakul : We are doing nothing but increasing his fame. What would would message sent to entire Aaryavrat that we with combined army, warrior of every Kingdom of Aaryavrat couldn't defeat Just one kingdom.

Ashwatthama : If we losse that Suta will become Chakrabarti Samrat and we the Brahmins and Kshatriye will be his subordinates. How will we show our faces in public.

Bheem : No we couldn't let that happen. Forget rule tomorrow I will rejoin the battle I only fight with bow and Archery but mace is my weapon. I will kill him by my mace.

Bheeshma (angry) : Bheem, let me make this clear no one will break the rules of war. If you or anyone who has been defeated entered the battlefield tomorrow then I will surrender my weapons and join Karna to fight against you. You will then face my wrath for doing Adharm and I won't hesitate in killing any or all of you.

Everyone was suddenly scared by the words of Bheeshma, seeing his anger and expression they knew he wasn't joking.

Yudhishthir : Then what do you propose Pitamah let that suta be Samrat wouldn't that be Adharm.

Bheeshma : That suta that you all are so elocantly speaking is favourite and best student gurudev Bhagwan Parshuram. You fools did you really think everyone believed your nonsense of maya seven years ago. No, nobody was fooled but we kept quiet for your sake. Did you want entire Aaryavrat to believe Karna cheated not ony you but all the revered sages present there. Did you want to say brahmrishi sage Vasishta was so impressed by a cheater and Adharmi that he became Kulguru of Brahmnagri. Everyone present here know he was better but in your pride you didn't want to accept it and wage this meaningless war because your ego and pride never allowed you to believe someone was better than you. You fools, after seeing his strength and valour today truth is you all are scared of him but even now your arrogance is not allowing you to see that. . This war is brought on you by yourself if now you loose and Karna be Chakrabarti Samrat then it will be apt punishment for you all. Bheem you dare to blame Vasudev for not allowing entire army to fight.He single handedly defeated six Maharathi while seven were fighting him simultaneously do you truly believe that foot soldiers, horse ride s and. Elephant riders would have been nothing but sacrifice. he saved innocent lives in this war whose death will sole responsibility of yudhishthir. Vasudev tried to warn you, told you not to go in war with Karna but you neglected his words and this is the consequences of that and your own arrogance.

Bheeshma said and left the tent angrily. Those present there were surprised by his outburst. Those who present in the tent got over their shock and tried to think how to salvage this situation. Suddenly Nakul got an idea.

Nakul : All is not lost everyone.

Yudhishthir : Do you have any idea Nakul.

Nakul : Yes jyeshtha, tomorrow we will propose the Idea of one on one duel of Pitamah and that Suta. From your battle we can be sure of his chariot isn't a normal Chariot as it withstood the attacks of seven Maharathi and keshav too is too capable Charioteer while Pitamah has ordinary Charioteer and Chariot. By proposing the one on one duel we will negate the advantage of Karna and Pitamah who has fought Bhagwan Parshuram to tie, I am sure without karna's advantage he can easily defeat him.

Bheem : Yes this idea is very good.

Yudhishthir : I agree i will do that only.

Next day

Same routine till sankhnath has happened but before the fight can begin Yudhishthir called out his proposal to Karna. Karna was confused isn't he and Bheeshma only remained for battle then what was need of such unnecessary duel. He looked at Krishna who was smiling and nodded to him. Karna accepted the proposal. So Krishna and Bheem's Charioteer too the chariot away Yudhishthir too left battlefield as the out come will only depend on the duel.

Karna and Bheeshma came to centre of battlefield with their weapons. Both have swords in their hands and another sankhnath was done and fight begin. Both fighter came to wards eachother and their weapons collided the swordfighting continued till sunset but the results were still not clear but Bheeshma has chipped sword in his hands while Karna has fine swords as it was Mitra sword at sunset the battle ended without any results. Next day Bheeshma too had his divine swords with him and battle continue like this the duel went on for 30 days till sunrise to sunset. On seventh day both fighter took out spear for duel on 13th day their weapons changer into axe and on seventeenth day they were mace fighting finally on 22nd day bow were once again taken out and their battle continued, not only Normal astra but even Brahmastra, Brahmashirsha, brahmandastra, Bhargavastra, vaisnavastra were fired on thirtieth day Karna finally used rudraastra and pashupatastra and made Bheeshma weapons less then bind him with yampas. And the war finally ended.

Everyone who saw the fight were amazed and scared by the strength and valour of both fighters, it was nothing like any battle they ever saw. It was two lions fighting for their territory. It didn't matter who won or who loss but the terror and fear they felt in these thirty days was unbelievable. The fight was as nothing but masterclass for everyone warrior to know actually how outclassed they were in comparison. These is not a single person who hasn't learned something from this fight. The surrounding were destroyed and unrecognisable, pits, burnt land, destroyed vegetation were proof of the fight happened here.

The fight ended and outcome was in favor of Karna. Seeing this even Pandavas couldn't find the excuses to show their superiority as Bheeshma and Karna has fought with all the weapons known to them and they can't claim to be better than them in their choice of weapon. Even Duryodhana who was student of Haldhar Balram was sure that they both were better than him and perhaps only Balram himself could defeat them. Pandavas were lost of words. Seeing Bheeshma defeated. Yudhishthir came there and he was ready to place his crown of Samrat in Karna's feet to accept his defeat and declare him as Chakrabarti Samrat.

Karna : There is no need for this. I was simply defending my kindom, I never wanted to be Samrat. As you all said I am just a suta, we suta live and earn with our hardwork and are happy with whatever we have. We don't take what others have, though with bad intentions you still came to Brahmnagri and nobody returned empty handed from Brahmnagri so I Radhey Karna return not only you but everyone what they had before coming here but remember I am leaving everyone alive now but if any of decided to even look at my kindom or my people with slightest of hostility then this suta will come as tsunami and erase your kingdom and you from the face of Aaryavrat.

Saying that Karna released Bheeshma from binding and returned to his kingdom with his army. Pandavas and their army too left from there. Krishna too said his goodbye to Karna telling his work is done here and he has to return as he was away from Dwarka for a long time. Not only them but all the spectators like tridevs, Dev's asur etc too left the place. They were pleased with Karna. Not only with his strength but also with his genocide and compassion. Abhimanyu who was watching everything with balram was also amazed. He admiration for Karna has reached ninth heaven when he saw him fighting. He has constantly asked about Karna from Balram. In this thirty two days Balram has told him about Karna all he could. Abhimanyu was amazed by thought, reforms, morals, compassion etc of Karna. He knew of his generosity but was still shocked when Karna returned everything to his Kaka Yudhishthir.

Abhimanyu : Why he did that? He could have become samrat.

Balram : It's his nature Putra, entire Aaryavrat know he is famous for giving. He never considered any what he hasn't earned his. Title of Samrat is meaningless to him Putra. This is his greatness. He isn't called Daanveer for nothing.

Abhimanyu : What a great warrior he is Mamashree, he has defeated everyone.

Balram : That he is Putra, in fact he is greatest warrior of this yug Putra. Lets go we will return Dwarka where you education will begin.

Abhimanyu : Mamashree I want to be his student will he accept me?

Krishna : Yes he will accept you Putra, Danveer Karna never returned anyone empty handed after his Pooja.

Abhimanyu got the hidden message. The time of dusk was near he decided to go alone to Karna. He touched the feet of his mamas and went towards the Brahmnagri. As they were in disguise with Balram so he was wearing simple clothes only. As anyone without I'll intentions can go inside of Brahmnagri so he easily went inside the gated and were shocked that soldiers never stopped him but gave him water and welcomed him. He went inside the kingdom and asked the citizen about where abouts of Karna and where he can get alms from him. This was pretty common in Brahmnagri so the citizen has guided him to banks of river ganga. Sunset was already happening he saw a huge crowd was ther. He thinks they too have come for asking alms. They were looking at something, he too looked in that direction and saw they were not looking at something but someone and that person was none other than Karna himself who was doing his Pooja in simple Dhoti and sawl. He was mesmerized it seems like sunrays were merging with Karna as he doing pooja. He seems like part of sun itself. Soon the prayer was done and most of crowd left but there was line formed of petitioner he didn't joined the line but was actually watching from the side. What he saw amazed him like he was told Karna didn't sent anyone empty handed. He either gave them the coins which was there in five big thali or if the request is something else he arranged his soldiers to bring it here and gave them. He saw his father and kaka too doing charity but what differ here the most was how humble Karna was he previously thought his Sahdev Kaka was too humble while giving alms but Karna far surpassed him. He not only folded his arms but even touched the feet of those who were elder to him. An hour later the donation ended all petitioner got what they wanted and left there.

KARNA POV.

After winning the war karna came back to his kingdom with army he was greeted with cheerful subjects bit he saw everyone was hiding weapons and many were prepared to even leave. He smiled knowing what was going on. He didn't ask them, their relationship was not so shallow that he couldn't guess what was going on. Then he returned to palace where hidimba did his, Vrushali and Eklavya aarti. Entire Brahmnagri know what all has happened as few soldier daily returned to kindom to bring every news either to palace or citizens. Karna group was welcomed a feast was already there so everyone ate. It's was time for his afternoon prayer so he left the palace immediately after changing his clothes and reached the bank. He was already use to crowd being there. He did his Pooja and donated alms but he saw one child who was just observing everything, though he was wearing common clothes but his body language gave away that he is anything but ordinary child. He was there alone and was only watching. After giving everyone what they requested he turned towards child.

Karna : Who are you child? Why are you here? Where are your parents and guardians?

Abhimanyu : My name is Abhimanyu, I came here to ask something from you. My father was here today but he left.

Karna (smiled) : What is that you want son?

Abhimanyu : what I want is neither money or any materialistic thing. Are you sure you will still give it to me.

Karna : Yes if I can and what you ask is righteous I will give it to you son.

Abhimanyu : What if I am son son of your enemy.

Karna : Putra, I have always regarded Adharm as enemy. No living being is my enemy.

Abhimanyu : What if my father consider you as enemy and what I want can be used against you. What if I am bound by my Putra dharm and has to use your alms against you.

Karna (smiled) : Son, dharm never binds anyone. Why are you asking me these questions I told you I don't care who you are Subhadra nandan, what is that you want.

Karna of course guessed his identity. He had some doubt from when he answered the first question but Abhimanyu subsequent questions has solidified his doubts.

Abhimanyu (shocked) : How did you know, I have never met you before.

Karna : You only have introduced yourself Putra, first you name is Abimanyu, second your father was here today and left, he considers me as enemy and competitor and I don't think except Arjun other Pandavas has a child this young and named Abhimanyu. Tell me Putra what is it you want and how did you came here alone Brahmnagri is quite away from Dwarka.

Abhimanyu : I came here with Bade mama, thirty three ago. I came with him to watch the war. I want to be your student so will you give me alms of knowledge.

Karna : Why is that you want to be my student I am sure you can get desired education in dwarka or Indraprastha.

Abhimanyu : I know but I want to accept you as my teacher. I have seen your battle and my mama told me you are greatest warrior of dwapar yug so I want to be your student. So will you accept me as your student or I have to empty handed because I am son of Arjun.

Karna (smiled) : You are Truly nephew of shree Krishna, you have learnt his way with words. No you don't have go empty handed but Putra my teaching will be strict. I except nothing but devotion till you are my student, I will teach you all I can but will your father allow you to learn from me.

Abhimanyu : Mamashree assured me that he will handle that, he has told me that he will tell my parents that I will learning from great teacher.

Karna : Fine then you will be my student. If you want you can keep being my student secret. Have you bid farewell to you family.

Abhimanyu : Yes, I already said byr to my Mata and Pitashree in Indraprastha after yagna and I have said my good bye to both Mamashree before coming here.

Karna : Okay then come with me, you education will begin from tomorrow but remember if you won't live upto my standard I will personally drop off you to Dwarka.

Abhimanyu : Ji gurudev.

Karna and Abhimanyu then went to palace. His family is surprised to see Karna came to palace with a child. He introduced Abhimanyu honestly and told evet he will be his student from now on. Abhimanyu Mamashree as scared that they will not accept him but contrary to his thoughts Karna's family had no problem with Abhimanyu inspite whose son he is.
