As per Krishna's instructions Pandavas reached the border of Brahmnagri. Upon reaching ther borders they decided to rest and go to Brahmnagri one hour before sunrise. They were in different get up, outsiders couldn't guess they would be in same group. Yudhishthir seems like a scholar brahman who was in white Dhoti and angavastra with a bald head and a choti. Bheem was wearing a orange dhoti and orange angavastra with matching clothes tieing his log hairs, he has a stubble on his face, he looked slight fat. Arjun was wearing a blue dhoti with black angavastra he has heavy beard and Veena in his back. Nakul was also like Yudhishthir but seems to have pale skin, he didn't look ugly but he was not handsome as he was known for. If anyone have to say he looked below average. Sahdev was in same bhagwa clothes but because of his long beard and moustache nobody could easily recognised him. Draupadi was beside him covered in veil. They rested and woke up at decided time but before going there Sahdev wanted to make sure of everything.

Sahdev : Brothers remember Keshav said a person with ill intension will not be enter the kingdom.

Yudhishthir : Don't worry Sahdev we came here for shelter, we don't have ill intension towards the kingdom. These years were enough to understand our mistakes.

Bheem : Yes, jyeshtha is right, we came here for our agyatvas nothing else.

Arjun and Nakul nodded.

Sahdev : We have to choose a name, we know Jyeshtha can't lie so I will give you all name. Please use that from onwards.

Pandavas Nodded.

Sahdev : Jyesta I name you Gyaneswar, Bhrata Bheem will be called Vallabh, Bharta Arjun will be called Madhusudan, Nakul your name will be somesh.

Pandavas Nodded, they knew Sahdev and Draupadi didn't need any disguise or another name as Krishna said. They nodded and went in the Kingdom. They easily crossed the border and went inside and surprised to find that soldiers there were standing with pot of waters, refreshments and they even have a tray full of gold coins and medical ointments. They all went to them.

Soldiers : Have some water and refreshments gentlemen and ladies.

He gave them water and gave some fruits. Pandavas drank the water.

Yudhishthir : Sainik ji, Why instead of checking ourselves you are serving us water and refreshments.

Soldiers : It seems you all come here for first time mohoday.

Yudhishthir didn't said anything, seeing this Bheem replied.

Bheem : Yes we came here for first time. How do you know.

Soldier : It's question which is asked by everyone who came here first. To answer your questions since you were able to reach here it means you mean no harm otherwise you won't be able to come. You are guests now and guests are god in Brahmnagri. These arrangements are made for everyone who came here at any time.

Nakul : Why have you these gold coins and medical ointments here? Will there be no alms donation Today?

Soldiers : No alms will be donated, these are arranged by our king for people who have urgent need of these things and don't have time to gain audience with King.

Arjun : Why does no one seems to take these coins from the tray.

Soldiers : People who came here know what they can get from our king far surpassed these things. Have you come for asking alms. You seem to come together but doesn't look like part of group from your clothes.

Sahdev : We met during our journey, since our destination is same we decided to stick together. Yes we came here to ask something from Samrat Karna.

Soldiers : would you like to take rest or directly go to bank of river Ganga where Maharaj do his Pooja.

Sahdev : We would like go to banks, it would be helpful if you could direct us towards there

Soldiers ; Sure no problem, just follow this pavement you would reach there if you need any help just ask anyone they would then guide you.

Sahdev : Thank you.

Soldiers Nodded and smiled, they gave their glass back to him and left there on the pavement indicated by soldiers. After going forward, when they saw they were alone.

Arjun : I have never seen such welcome in entire Aaryavrat.

Nakul : Yes, usually one has to reach a village or city in Kingdoms to even ask for water or refreshments. It's first time I have seen soldier serving them to whoever enter the kingdom.

Bheem : And the gold, the amount of gold laying there is more than what we use to donate even on happy occasions.

Arjun : The soldiers present ther had no greed towards it. It looks like it wasn't gold but stock of junk laying there. It's first time I saw someone indifferent towards such wealth.

Sahdev : Because they know if they need their King would happily give them more than what it was there, you all seem to be forgetting Brahmnagri is most prosperous Kingdom in entire Aaryavrat. Didn't you hear when he said “People who came here know what they can get from our king far surpassed these things.”

Yudhishthir : Sahdev is right, not only their lack of greed was admirable but their respect and love for Brahmnagri and Karna was also something to take note on. The soldier who talked to us was polite but proud undertone he had when he was talking about them shows his loyalty. When he was talking about Karna the familiarity he showed was not some soldiers talking about their King but it was more like he was Karna's relatives and showing off the his good qualities to us outsiders. Other soldiers too has such expression on their face. Such loyalty is very hard to find even among king and his most trusted ministers. I am really curious how Karna is able to command such loyalty.

Pandavas while talking reached to bank of river of Ganga, the sunrise is almost half hour later but there is already huge crowd there. The seperated from each other. Yudhishthir, Bheem, Arjun and Nakul mingled in crowd where as Sahdev took Draupadi begin the bush to hide where they can see everyone but noone can see him. Soon time passed and they saw Karna came here to do his pooja but what shocked them was that he was not alone but their Pitamah was also with him. Both came here in white Dhoti and sawl. They gulped Seeing him thinking why Krishna has sent them here sure he would have known Bheeshma was here or even he didn't knew about it. They also saw crowd wasn't shocked seeing him it seems they already knew about him being here so how did this remained secret fo 12 years they thought. They tried to mingle in crowd as much as they could to avoid him noticing them because they knew Pitamah may recognise them.

Karna and Bheeshma unaware of everything came there and did their pooja. Their students have left for Brahmnagri few days ago so it was only two if them doing the pooja. Bheeshma left after that because he knew it would take Karna a while. Bheeshma didn't do donation for two reasons first he left all his belongings except his weapons I Hastinapur when he left there and second he know Karna would fulfill the requested alms so he didn't needed too. Like always he patted his shoulder indicating he was leaving. Karna too nod at him. After Bheeshma left the Pandavas breathed a sigh of relief. They knew he had already broke his connection with Hastinapur and left it 12 years ago but still they didn't have courage to come face to face with him especially Yudhishthir. They then saw quite a people left there and rest formed the line in front of Karna. They didn't even saw Karna during pooja as they were focusing on their Pitamah but they were shocked seeing the familiarity between them. It was the same familiarity he had with them. Leaving all their thoughts they too joined the line seperately. They saw how he was doing donations, they were curious various people all over donates but only he was given tittle of Daanveer. They saw him and were amazed because not only he folded his hands in front of everyone that came to ask him something but he even touched the feet of any elder that came there. He listened to each and every request and then he fulfilled it. Some asked money, some aked grains, cows, shelter etc etc.. and he humbly fullfiled each and every demand. Several soldiers were standing with trays of gold coins and few trays there were several scrolls and royal stamp was there. He gave coins to those needed it. He did pick it to give it but asked other petitioner to take whatever he needs. For other things he personally wrote order to requested alms and stamp it and said them to come to palace to collect their alms. It looked a simple process but royal stamp are highest order a king can give and he has to abide whatever he stamped upon. Soon Yudhishthir's turn came.

Karna : Pranipat mohoday, What can I help you with.

Yudhishthir : Pranipat Maharaj, I came here to not ask for monetary things. I am Gyaneshwar I came here to get an opportunity to teach in the public school here.

Karna : Are you sure mahoday, because you have to teach everyone. We don't discriminate on basic of caste, creed, or gender here. Are you willing to teach everyone.

Yudhishthir : Yes, few years ago I realised that education is basic rights of everyone. I have wronged various people before now I want to repent.

Karna : Admitting mistake and trying to do something about it is Repentance in itself, mahoday. If you truly want that I will provide you with opportunity. Do you know weapon fighting too.

Yudhishthir : Yes, I know of it. Spear is my choice of weapon and I am good with it.

Karna : I can give you an opportunity. Here in Brahmnagri you don't get a job because you think you are able but you have to prove it. You won't get job of teacher directly go to the school, go to incharge of school, he will take your test if you pass only then you will be teacher otherwise you can assist the teacher there. There is a teacher residential building beside the school you can live there.

Karna stamp a scroll for him.

Yudhishthir : Thank you for providing me with opportunity.

Yudhishthir took the letter and left there, similarly it was Bheem's turn.

Karna : Pranipat, What can I help you with.

Bheem : Pranipat, I am Vallabh, I am a sweet maker, I came here to get a job. I am quite good at making sweets can you provide me any job.

Karna : Sure, but you don't need here for that go to any sweet shop and you can get a job there if you impress the owner with your skill.

Bheem : I want to be a royal chef. Can you give me the job at palace.

Karna : All I could do is provide you opportunity, go to the palace if you impress the chef there you will be able to get the job if not you can go to any sweet shop and work there.

He wrote a scroll for him too. Bheem wanted to use this opportunity to regularly see his first born and wife, he realised what mistake he did. Rakshas are not bound with human rules, they can remarry but Hidimba still didn't, it means she still has some place in his heart for him. He wanted to use this opportunity to see if he can correct his mistake. He left from there, after sometime it was Arjun's turn.

Karna : Pranipat mahoday, what I can help you with.

Arjun : Pranipat Maharaj, I am Madhusudan. I am s travelling veena player. Before I can ask what I want, I wish to hear an honest opinion from you. Do you also look down on music playing like other warriors.

Karna : No, I don't music is an art. A kala created by Mahadev himself. It is sin looking down on artform. Learning any artform requires same dedication and hardwork that one needs to learn weapon fighting. Looking down on music means indirectly insulting and looking down o Mahadev and Mata saraswati.

Arjun : Then Maharaj what are your thoughts on music.

Karna : Music is most purest form of art present in this universe. It is everywhere it is in a newborn's first cry, mother's lullaby, in rustling of leaves, in waves of ocean, in flow of river, in twang of bow string, in clashing of weapons, it is spreads throughout infinite universes. When the universe was first born sonorous sound of om was first thing to appear. Music is not only for pleasure but it is spritual practice which purify oneself. If we remove music from universe, the universe will stagnate. I can go on and on mahoday but I think this is enough.

Arjun : Yes Maharaj this is enough. I came here in search of finding a kingdom where music and musician are not being looked down upon. I want to be a Veena player in your court.

Karna : Fine, we don't have Veena player in the court but if you want. I can open the job for you not only that but there is two princess in the court you can see if they are worthy then teach them Veena playing.

Arjun : Why I don't have to pass the test. And you are even allowing me to teach two princess don't you fear their safety.

Karna (smiled) : Mohoday Madhusudan, I have no such fear for two reasons they both are students of my wife and as for other reasons I will keep it to myself for now. As for your test, it seemed that you were taking my test to see if I am worthy, only someone with extreme confidence in his abilities can do that so you don't need to take any test.

Arjun : I am sorry Maharaj, if I have offended you.

Karna : No, it was not offensive. You have right to decide who should you work for. You can come to palace later I will introduce you to Sabha and to meet two princess too.

Arjun : Thank you Maharaj.

Arjun too left there, truly he wants to test Karna, when giving pashupatastra Mahadev told that he had an unnatural obsession of gaining Karna's acknowledgement and proving his superiority over him. This is what holding him back to become best he can be. So Arjun decided for the last time he will try to find one thing where he can superior than him. He knew he is not equal to Karna in Archery, it was tough pill to swallow but when even Mahadev told him that he has to acknowledge. He admitted Karna was more righteous than Yudhishthir, stronger than Bheem, better Archer than him, handsome than Nakul and knowledgeable than Sahdev. He was a good husband, son, student he is better than him in everything. Only his last hope music was left but it seems he was not match for him in this field too. His answers astounded him, such deep comprehension on music was something he never thought of. He learnt it because it was hobby for him. But listening to him was enchanting, he seems to have lost in words and imagine himself everywhere he said music is. He can easily tell that he was trained in art and he has no doubt he was better than him because with the passion it can be describe how talented you are. It was as if someone has asked himself about archery. He now has to let go of his obsession of proving superiority but he will gain his acknowledgement that he has vowed today. Like this Nakul too came, Nakul was probably only one who wants nothing here so he simply asked to trainee Vaidya. Karna allowed him to go vaidya shala and prove himself to vaidya present there. He simply thanked and left. Like this Karna completed his donations but after that he said the soldiers to leave him as he wants to spend sometime alone. He turned towards sun and was staring it intensely 15 more minutes passed he suddenly said.

Karna : Prince Sahdev, please come out. How long are you going to stay behind the bushes.

Sahdev like his brother was also shocked seeing Bheeshma, he then turned towards Draupadi but found she was only staring at Karna like other didn't matter to her. He saw her intensely gazing at him so he too looked at Karna only because he know Madhav must have his reson to send them here, he who knew even the thought of Pandavas which they never revealed to anyone so how he could he not know about Pitamah being here. He was shocked when Karna was gazing at Sun directly as he knew nobody else could do that not even when Sun was setting. Hearing him he sighed and came out with Draupadi. They both came to him but he was looking other ways.

Sahdev : Pranipat Samrat Karna.

Karna : Pranipat prince Sahdev. What can I help you with.

Sahdev : Won't you turn towards us.

Karna : I promise Rajmata Kunti to not interfere with her or her children or personally come in front of them.

Sahdev Nodded he know karna would follow his promise. He went in front of him, he wished to talk to him then leave him and Draupadi alone.

Sahdev : But I can come in front of you Samrat.

Karna (nodded) : Yes you can Prince Sahdev.

Sahdev : I am not a prince now, never been in last 12 years. You can call me by my name.

Karna : I know, fine I will address you as Sahdev you also don't need to address me as Samrat. What is you want Sahdev?

Sahdev : Forgiveness, I want forgiveness Shreemaan Karna.

Karna : For what Sahdev, you never did anything to me.

Sahdev : But my brother's did. I wish your forgiveness.

Karna : Sahdev, like only water can be used to plant, milk can't used in place of wat similarly no one ask forgiveness for any else.

Sahdev : I know but I remained silent, silence means participation and agreement Shreemaan.

Karna : No Sahdev, silence not only means agreement but it can be protest too. You have done nothing to ask my forgiveness.

Sahdev : Still I wish to hear you saying you forgive me.

Karna : Fine Sahdev, I forgive you. Now, Why have you all came here.

Sahdev : So you know, I knew it since you called me out then you must have guessed identity of others.

Karna : It's hard to change one's true nature Sahdev. I spent three years with you did you truly think disguise can throw me off. They can change their look but not behaviour, the straight face of you Jyeshtha when he talking, the overconfident tone of prince Bheem, the stubbornness, questioning and incucisitive tone of you brother Arjun or the uninterested look of prince Nakul, with these things I can recognise very them easily.

Sahdev : I predicted as much, Shreemaan Karna. But you still gave them what they asked knowing they would pass.

Karna : They have come to ask alms and I can't sent them empty handed because who they are. It was something I can do and is Dharm. You all entered Brahmnagri meaning you don't have ill intensions towards me, my family or my kingdom. So, I have no problem with giving them what they want.

Sahdev : Madhav sent us here for our agyatvas since its most secure kingdom. We will be safe here.

Karna : Truth is Sahdev you all will be safe anywhere in entire Aaryavrat.

Sahdev : What are you saying Shreemaan, if we did Duryodhana will surely find us.

Karna : Sahdev, how can someone find the thing what he was not searching. Forget it you will come to know later. Prabhu must have some reason sending you here. What have he told you.

Sahdev : He came yesterday and told us to come here and stay here till our agyatvas.

Karna : What job does he told you do till you are here.

Sahdev : He told me to be the subordinate of Vishnupant ji.

Karna : Fine, come to palace later I will assign you as such but be prepared there will be several surprises at palace for you all.

Sahdev : “Shreemaan I am leaving, please talk to her this is my desired alms. ”He said last part mumbling there was slight beginning tone in that. Sahdev then left.
