There was no time for anyone to say anything. The hurried footsteps Stopped and a shout heard in the sabha,

“How dare you Karna? How dare you invite Hastinapur? Did you forget the injustice they did to your own brothers? I know there is bad relationship between you and Pandavas, but my son they too are my children like you and your anujs as well.”

“What,” was a loud sound echoed in the sabha, none there was not surprised by the announcement, they all looked at the woman who was in the sabha kneeling down and crying with her head down. Kunti was fanatically coming to court but she met with a huge resistance in the way. With huge difficulty she and her friend Priyamanda reached the palace. Only she was allowed to go inside because she made a huge mess there but guards still didn't let Priyamda go and even captured her. After assuring her friend Kunti almost ran to sabha, she was very tired but because of her children and her future she came there and she spoke all she could think of in a flow while her head was down gasping for breath that was elusive to her till now. She looked up and froze, never had she thought she would Draupadi here, not only her Sahdev was there too. She turned around and saw her other children here too.

All pandavas, after hearing the truth, turn away. Teary eyes, devastated expressions, staggering or trembling or shaking… Yudhisthir (or Arjun… anyone) before cursing her walks up to her and holds her by the shoulders or maybe holds her hands and asks in a hoarse voice/ swallowing a lump in the throat….and asks her … "Please Tell me it's a lie mother, please… Please don't do this.… "

While everyone had a stunned expression, Kunti herself was taken back by Pandavas' condition.

Kunti: Putra…

She never thought that she would inform them about karna in this manner but now it was too late for her to hide anything. She was at a loss how to answer the questions and plea of Yudhishthir. She could see the distraught expression of her other children as well. She was scared to see them like this, especially seeing the ever calm Yudhishthir lose his cool.

The others present there were gawking in response to the truth they have just learned. Their minds were loaded and they were trying to process everything revealed to them. From the centre of sabha they turned towards the throne to see the calm and unbothered face of Karna and Vrushali even Draupadi had disbelief on her face. People of Hastinapur were no better except Gandhari and Bheeshma who were concerned since the truth is open for everyone. They were scared of consequences of it especially Bheeshma,

Ghatotkach: What gibberish are you speaking, mother of Pandavas?

Kunti again became the centre of attention, she knew her words would bring a landslide especially for her five children but she can't back out now. She still tried to portray herself as victim,

Kunti: I am not saying anything that is not true. Karna is my first born, a boon from Suryadev himself.

Her words agitated Pandavas the most, Yudhishthir was already in not a good condition so Bheem asked,

Bheem: Mata, how is this possible? If he is your son then why was he not with us?

Kunti began her sob story with excellent tear work, but again she overestimated herself. People used to think of her as a pious woman who gave birth to children of Dev but that belief went to the drain 13 years ago. Seeing the gazes on her, she felt insulted but continued to portray herself as a victim. Pandavas too were in disbelief of everything,

Yudhishthir couldn't believe his mother could do this, he was very angered as Devi Kunti has also told how after even recognising his elder brother kept she continued her silence though it was for them at some level but what she did was wrong, if she ever revealed the truth maybe everything would be different. They would have their eldest with them to guide and help, he wasn't in frame of his mind to be rational,

Yudhishthir: Mata, what have you done? You did a sin. Why have you done this mata?

“ May henceforth no woman could keep a secret. This is my curse to the entire female race.”

His words shocked everyone, Kunti herself couldn't believe what her previous known eldest had done and not one of her children protested against it. While four were feeling betrayed and their entire existence a lie. Sahdev was crying with tears. Everything made sense to him now he understands why there has been a pull towards Karna, it was call of blood for blood, he understands now why seeing Karna in pain has affected him so much and why talking to him always feels like guidance. Why his words have always left a deep impression on him. He was not like others and was intelligent enough to guess the motive of his mother. His intuition was telling him worse is yet to come, he wanted to speak but was cut off by Yudhishthir who like him was crying and feeling guilty,

Yudhishthir: I am sorry for what Mata did Jyeshta.

Karna who was just watching everything calmly looked at Yudhishthir as he has seen through his soul, hr did see a regret flashes in his eyes along with shame but it's too late for mending the bonds, he didn't resent anyone but accepting them is another matter.

Karna: I am not your jyeshtha, pandu putra. I am neither that nor I consider myself to be the son of your Mata. I need no relationship with your family whatsoever.

Kunti: What are you saying my son?

Karna: I am not your son Devi, I was raised by parents who are Radha maa and Adhiratha Pitashree. I am their son only and this is my dharma.

His words brought tears of joy and happiness in Radha and Adhiratha. They knew one day the truth would be out but they never thought their son was a demigod and spiritual son of Suryadev himself. When Kunti spoke they were very scared but Karna words are all evidence they need to know their son will not leave them. From his reaction it was apparent that he knew beforehand and they feel guilty of not having courage to tell him that he was adopted. It was fear and insecurity that have grasped them and they feel shame in ever thinking so.

Rest everyone was looking at him as if he was an alien, many couldn't believe anyone would do this. They can understand he wants nothing to do with his so-called family but to throw away his relationship in any matter and accept one who nurtured him as parents, not many would do this. They now had respect magnified for Radhey who is also suryaputra but denied being kaunteya. Gandhari was weeping heavily. She could understand Karna's decision and it wasn't wrong by any account but her heart felt the pain he was hiding behind his words, not only her but all who knew Karna could do the same. Dushala, bhanumati choked up knowing such a gentle and kind soul was given such cruel destiny. Even Duryodhana and Dussasan were not able to understand the depth and shades of Karna. Bheeshma could only shed silent tears. Their thoughts were broken by vile woman,

Kunti: But, son….

Karna was end of his patience, he didn't want this drama to prolong any further,

Karna: Devi, I told you I am Radhey only. Do you believe me to be a fool to not discern the truth from your made up story?

Kunti saw her facade was not working, so she decided to drop all the acts. She was here for her five children and she would get what she wanted even if her children hate her for it, her expression changed and her face hardened. A cruel smile was on her lips. People who saw that were thinking the same thing that she lost her mind but it was the first time many have met the true Kunti, Krishna gripped his hands knowing the words to come out of her mouth but rest were not ready to hear it.

Kunti: Okay you wanted the son of those low born then be it but you can't deny I nurtured you for Nine months, with that right I ask…

Vrushali: Kunti…..

Kunti was scared now, she was used to being in a position of power but she forgot that here she was nothing. Vrushali was too angry to control herself, she withdrew the sword and moved forward to behead her but Karna stopped her. Vrushali was looking at him with anger though it wasn't directed at her. Vrushali could see the tremor of his hands. Rest were stumped by her words; they couldn't bear to look at the woman so they turned to Karna to see a calm expression on his face as if he was expecting this, many hearts shattered by his indifference to everything going on.

Draupadi choked, she could see the hurt of Karna and the empty shell that was standing there indifferently, his indifference was a mockery of himself that he had for himself. She was given support by him when she was at her worst but she wasn't sure if she could do the same or anyone could ever do it. Rest were unable to comprehend what's happening, Sahdev felt like someone broke him and rest Pandavas couldn't believe what they have heard from their ever loving parents. No one noticed when a silhouette moved from her place. Duryodhana and Dussasan were disgusted so were any mother there, just how could any mother ask the price for keeping the baby in her womb.

Kunti on the other hand didn't care seeing the blank face of Karna, she was on a mission and didn't care of the way she had to obtain this. She cared nothing but future of her five children,

Karna : Speak oh mother of Pandavas.

Kunti: As I was…

Before she could speak further a slap was rewarded on her face, Kunti saw angry Radha before her,

Pandavas wanted to intervene but their feet felt like sinking to ground they and mother earth had clung onto them. Radha didn't care for anything, she was just looking at Kunti, she was worried when the truth came out but seeing no surprise on face of karma she understood he knew. She and her husband managed to calm themselves. She was very emotional but words of great Devi came and she couldn't believe insanity, she couldn't believe how utterly disgusting the woman was,

Radha: You vile woman, a black spot in the name of motherhood. Even crocodiles who eat their children are not as cruel as you. I don't understand just how selfish you are. How could any mother ever ask a price for nurturing a child in her womb and that too from a child she abandoned. I don't understand how Saint Durwasa could ever give you such a precious boon.When your known eldest punished my son I came to you. I pleaded, I begged, I even kneeled to you.let go of my innocent son but you stayed quiet while your son thought himself as a paragon of Dharma.

Karna: What???

His voice was thunderous, it was the first time anyone had seen him so angry. His voice was enough for everyone to tremble and feel his anger. Karna didn't care for anything and came beside Radha,

Karna: Mata, what did you say??? you did what???

Radha who saw her son up close, knew she had to speak of it. Maybe it was the curse of Yudhishthir that came back to haunt them or something else but today was the day everything will get cleared up. Radha with her choked voice hugged her son whose anger had vanished. He was gently stroking her back to calm her down. Radha described the darkest day. Upon hearing her, Karna's anger knew no bounds he looked at Kunti who was very afraid then he turned towards four Pandavas, they too were remembered of that day. Their face was down in guilt but their back was filled with cold sweats by the gaze of Suryaputra.

Karna: Good! Good! What a great deed you have done to my mother. Kunti devi, you asked for a price, then leaving you and your arrogant children alive is what I give you. You did everything for the kingdom, rights etc na good very good. I, Radhey karna declares that any kingdom that accepts any Pandavas except Sahdev as their king and Devi Kunti as their Rajmata will be extinguished from the face and history of Aryavart. If through any means they get a shred of political power that the one responsible is the enemy of me and my kingdom. Go Devi Kunti, leave Brahamnagri with your children otherwise I don't know if I could control myself any longer.

Kunti: You can't do that, Putra I am sorry. Please don't do this.

Karna raised his hand indicating her to be quiet otherwise je won't be able to control himself any longer, his eyes were bloodred and his body was trembling which Radha could feel as she was in embrace of her son. Kunti was scared now.
